This qualitative study explores the role of pickleball in promoting healthy aging among elderly players in Indonesia. As the global elderly population continues to rise, the need for effective strategies to enhance physical, mental, and social well-being in older adults becomes more pressing. Pickleball, a low-impact sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis, has gained significant popularity worldwide due to its accessibility, moderate intensity, and low risk of injury. This study employed a phenomenological approach, conducting semi-structured interviews, participant observations, and focus group discussions with 19 elderly pickleball players aged 50 and above in Surabaya, Indonesia. The findings suggest that regular participation in pickleball leads to significant improvements in physical health, including enhanced strength, balance, flexibility, and cardiovascular endurance. The sport also has positive effects on mental well-being, helping to reduce stress, improve cognitive function, and provide a sense of purpose and accomplishment. Socially, pickleball fosters community engagement, reduces feelings of isolation, and strengthens intergenerational relationships, allowing older adults to connect with younger generations. However, barriers such as physical limitations, limited access to facilities, and unfavorable weather conditions hinder consistent participation. In conclusion, pickleball is a valuable and effective activity for promoting healthy aging by providing a holistic approach to improving the quality of life in older adults. Policymakers, healthcare providers, and community leaders are encouraged to invest in pickleball infrastructure, promote awareness, and support active aging initiatives to further enhance the well-being of elderly populations. Backround: Basic immunization is a crucial step in preventing communicable diseases that can be controlled through vaccination in infants. However, the coverage of basic immunization in Indonesia has not yet reached the desired target. One of the factors influencing immunization coverage is the low level of maternal knowledge about immunization. This issue was identified in a preliminary study conducted at PMB Suratni. The objective of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of health education using audio-visual media in improving mothers' knowledge about basic immunization at PMB Suratni. Methods: This study employed a quasi-experimental design with a control group. A total of 50 mothers with infants aged 0–12 months at PMB Suratni were selected as respondents. The intervention group received health education using audio-visual media, while the control group was given conventional lecture-based education. Data were collected through pretest and posttest questionnaires and analyzed using the Wilcoxon test and N-Gain score. Results: Expert evaluations of the material and media categorized them as appropriate. The study results from both interventions indicated a significant improvement in maternal knowledge in the group that received audio-visual education compared to the control group. The average N-Gain score in the intervention group was 0.72 (high category), whereas the control group scored 0.45 (moderate category). The Wilcoxon test showed a p-value of <0.05, indicating a significant difference between the two groups. Conclusion: Health education using audio-visual media is proven to be more effective in enhancing mothers' knowledge about basic immunization compared to the lecture method. Audio-visual health education can serve as an interactive and informative alternative in health education programs to improve basic immunization coverage in infants.

ABSTRACT The implementation of Information Technology at XYZ Hospital serves as a key driver in enhancing the efficiency of healthcare services, but it also raises the organization’s vulnerability to significant operational risks. The primary risks identified involve inaccurate data resulting from human mistakes, breakdowns in system interoperability, and the deterioration of hardware infrastructure that may interfere with patient care. This research seeks to assess the governance of IT risk management and determine the organization’s capability level using the COBIT 5.0 framework, focusing on the APO12 (Manage Risk) domain. The study employs qualitative methods, gathering information through interviews and direct observations, and then conducts a gap analysis to compare the current state (As-Is) with the desired future state (To-Be). Findings show that the organization’s capability is currently at Level 2 (Managed Process) with a score of 1.87, which is still below the intended maturity level of 3 (Established Process) at 2.94. These results indicate that risk management activities are still largely reactive and rely on intuition, with no standardized procedures embedded within the institution. Ultimately, the study suggests formalizing a Risk Register, standardizing mitigation procedures through established SOPs, and developing a Disaster Recovery Plan to strengthen risk governance into a more systematic, preventive, and resilient framework.

Islamic Religious Education is a subject aimed at fostering noble character and instilling spiritual values in students. One indicator of the success of our education system is the success in strengthening faith and piety as well as cultivating noble character. The nobility of character and morals is a tangible measure of the goals of national education. However, the reality is that Islamic Religious Education in schools today is more bound to the school system, which is more focused on teacher-centered learning approaches. Educators play a vital role in achieving the desired learning outcomes in the teaching and learning process. Meanwhile, students act as both subjects and objects in applying the contextual teaching and learning method. Teachers can use various methods to convey information to students (transfer knowledge), whether it is related to teaching materials or global perspectives. The process of knowledge transfer through conventional methods can no longer be sustained, as society expects students to be intelligent and responsive to the times, not merely passive observers and listeners. The breakthrough offered by education experts is a new concept called contextual teaching and learning (CTL). This method is not merely about transferring knowledge from teacher to student but also empowers students to engage, experiment, and reconstruct the material they learn from the teacher, correlating it with their real-life experiences. The hope is that they can solve various problems in their lives, families, and communities. This research focuses on three aspects: character education, religious character, and character education through a contextual approach aimed at forming religious character. Based on this discussion, the objective of this paper is to understand: Character Education, Religious Character, and Character Education through a Contextual Approach in shaping Religious Character. This research employs a qualitative approach using a literature study.

Garbage is a problem that often occurs everywhere. One example is in Tanjungpinang City with various types of waste problems, one of which is plastic waste. For this reason, it needs to be handled seriously. One of the measures that has been carried out by the Tanjungpinang City government regarding the handling of plastic waste is to create a Tanjungpinang Mayor regulation policy no. 14 of 2022 concerning reducing the use of plastic bags. This regulatory policy was implemented on July 7 2022 and the policy of this regulation has been in place for approximately 2 years now. However, the results of implementing this policy regulation are still not as expected, with the data that has been presented in the background proving that every year there is an increase and plastic waste is in second place among the number of types of waste that exist. For this reason, this research aims to evaluate all forms of activities in implementing this policy using a descriptive qualitative approach according to the evaluation theory of Abdulkahar Badjuri & Teguh Yuwono (2002) which consists of 4 indicators, namely: suitability evaluation, effectiveness evaluation, efficiency evaluation and meta evaluation. Based on this theory, this research hopes that in the future this problem can be resolved and that regulatory policies run as expected so as to produce the desired results.

This study aims to analyze the influence of self-efficacy on the learning outcomes of students at the Madrasah Aliyah level through literature study. In this study, the authors collected and reviewed various related literature, including journal articles, books, and previous research reports that discussed self-efficacy and its impact on learning. The results of the analysis show that self-efficacy is a person's ability to regulate and carry out the behaviors necessary to achieve certain goals. This happens because they believe that the actions taken will yield the desired results even if in the face of difficulties they have little incentive to act or persevere. These findings indicate the need to increase self-efficacy through training and professional development to improve the learning outcomes of students at the Madrasah Aliyah level. This research is expected to provide insight for policymakers in an effort to improve the quality of education.
