At present the world of coffee in Indonesia is showing very rapid development. This is evidenced by the mushrooming of cafes or shops selling drinks from processed coffee throughout the archipelago. Coffee shop business owners are expected to increasingly compete for customers by serving quality coffee drinks, affordable prices and simpler outlet concepts. To maintain the existence of the mushrooming coffee shops, Teras Kopi needs a new, strong and consistent visual identity in order to be able to compete with other competitors who already have a strong and consistent visual identity. Based on these problems, the writer designed Warung Teras Kopi's visual identity using a descriptive approach, namely by directly interviewing related parties. As a result, this study uses the Graphic Standard Manual (GSM) which will be applied to supporting media properly and consistently, in accordance with the vision and mission of Warung Eras Kopi, so that it can become a new visual identity in the form of a new logo along with a newly created visual identity design. with the values of coffee terrace coffee shops namely coffee, delicious, simple, and comfortable.

This visual identity redesign aims to produce a redesign of the visual identity design that depicts the character of the Freesound band, as well as providing more selling points for the Freesound band apart from the work of the Freesound band's songs. The problems that can be identified are that the visual identity of the Freesound band is not yet optimal, so it is not widely known by the audience and the visual identity of the Freesound band is less attractive, so it has less selling value when applied to supporting media. In solving this problem, the glass box method is used, where this method has several stages, namely starting from the Preparation Stage, Incubation, Illumination, then Verification. This method begins with preparing all the tools and requirements for designing the design, then preparing yourself to process various reference ideas that will be used to design the visual identity design. The results of the redesign of the visual identity design were expressed in the main media, namely the manual book. With the redesign of this visual identity design, it is hoped that it will become something that sells for the Freesound band apart from its songs, such as publishing merchandise or posters for the Freesound band.

Rangawak is a wood-working workshop in Barulak, Tanah Datar that produces hand-processed products without using massive manufacturing machines. Rangawak has been running since 2019, by utilizing the surrounding wood resources which are designed and processed to produce valuable furniture. However, this is still not enough to make Rangawak a sustainable brand. Rangawak needs more than just a quality product, but also a strong brand image, so it is easily recognized by potential consumers. Branding steps are deemed appropriate to overcome this problem using the design thinking method which focuses on empathy, defining problem, ideation and refining solutions. This method includes experimentation, development of ideas in visual form and physical implementation based on existing problems. The branding process results in the design of ideal branding elements, compiled into a brand book so that it becomes a reference for acting both internally and externally. These elements are in the form of values held firmly by the brand, brand positioning in the market, calm explanation of brand naming, brand personality which becomes a reference for how the brand interacts (in the form of tone of voice, prohibited and recommended terms, pronunciation and choice of words in copywriting), as well as visual identity with guidelines and rules for its application in various supporting media such as websites, catalog books, posters, member cards, packaging and Instagram accounts selected based on indicators of the media's effectiveness and efficiency in the brand activation process.

MSMEs contribute 60.5% to GDP (Gross Domestic Product) and are able to absorb 96.9% of the national workforce (Sakum & Ismamudi, 2022). But on the one hand, MSMEs experience many internal and external obstacles so they cannot maximize their business, one of which is UMKM Fiya Cake which has problems in applying visual branding, namely not having a business identity in its application. Therefore, the solution that will be provided as an effort to introduce Fiya Cake's business products is to design and create a business identity in the form of a logo, banner, and also create an NIB. The method used in this activity is the mentoring method which begins with a survey, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This project focuses on the significant role of the gaming industry as an agent for spreading popular culture and global lifestyle from various countries, as well as its potential impact on local culture. Especially in the Indonesian market, the penetration of foreign cultures through digital platforms has become a phenomenon that has an impact on local cultural identity. However, as a successful example, Japan in promoting its traditional culture through media such as games, anime, and other products, provides inspiration for an approach that has the potential to strengthen the sustainability of local culture. This design aims to explain how character design in the game industry can be adopted as a tool to introduce and describe cultural values, myths, and philosophies of the East Kalimantan Dayak tribe. This approach will involve developing character designs that take references from the traditions and local wisdom of the Dayak tribe. The design will be a means of providing a unique and engaging visual experience, while simultaneously responding to concerns about the preservation of traditional culture. The methodology used in this research is a design thinking approach with a 5W+1H analysis approach. These design steps would result in a character called "Uyau Man Kan," which has its roots in the traditional folklore of the Dayak people of East Kalimantan. This character is not only a visual manifestation of the culture, but also a bridge for a deeper understanding of the cultural heritage of the Dayak tribe.

Packaging has multiple roles that greatly affect the target audience and even the target market. Not only does it play a role in protecting or facilitating distribution, far from that, packaging can communicate many aspects at the same time even in the absence of sales. Packaging deserves special attention and is done optimally as an effective communication medium. This study tries to describe the visual strategy on instant noodle packaging which is the market leader in Indonesia, namely Indomie. Indomie As the only brand that is able to dominate 70% of the market compared to its closest competitor, only 16%. Although not the only major factor, there are many interesting things that we can describe from the visual strategy that has been implemented by Indomie producers in competing with similar products. This research was conducted using descriptive qualitative methods to determine the visual strategy by outlining the graphic elements of the packaging. The results of this study indicate that a strong visual identity is able to influence consumers to more quickly recognize their products and at the same time conduct persuasion to choose their products in the ranks of other similar products.
