Perkembangan teknologi membawa perubahan pada bidang edukasi, termasuk pada bidang edukasi lingkungan. Salah satu komunitas yang bergerak di bidang lingkungan yaitu Jepara Green Generation (Jegeg). Jegeg membutuhkan aplikasi yang memiliki fitur edukasi baik dalam bentuk artikel maupun video, fitur pengenalan tanaman, tempat wisata, tempat konservasi, serta informasi terkait kegiatan peduli lingkungan. Sehingga diperlukan suatu inovasi teknologi sebagai pemantik untuk meningkatkan kepekaan dan kesadaran masyarakat dengan keadaan lingkungan alam sekitarnya. Oleh karena itu, dibuatlah aplikasi Forestrytech yang menggunakan metode design thinking dan pengujian SEQ dan SUS dalam perancangan antarmuka. Aplikasi ini bertujuan untuk menyediakan pemantauan hutan secara real-time yang dapat diakses oleh masyarakat. ForestryTech, sebuah aplikasi pemantauan dan edukasi konservasi hutan berbasis PWA menggunakan algoritma CNN. Selain itu, juga dibuat prototipe alat monitoring hutan berbasis IoT menggunakan ESP32 yang dapat dipantau dan diakses melalui aplikasi. Sistem ini dapat membaca nilai suhu, kelembapan, tekanan udara, api, asap, dan kecepatan angin dengan akurasi yang baik.

The red chili plant (Capsicum annuum) is a horticultural plant that has high economic value. Red chilies can ward off free radicals, besides red chilies contain vitamin A. The need for red chilies continues to increase, but the availability of red chilies is still very low compared to the demand and needs of the community. Therefore, to increase the availability of chilies, the growth of red chili plants (Capsicum annuum) is an important subject in modern agriculture, with the use of organic fertilizer being a significant research focus in an effort to increase productivity and plant health. This research aims to evaluate the effect of organic fertilizer on the growth of red chili plants.

Hypertension or what is also called high blood pressure is a medical condition where a person's blood pressure is at a high level. This condition is characterized by systolic pressure exceeding 140 mmHg and diastolic pressure exceeding 90 mmHg. Treatment for hypertension includes pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment. Non-pharmacological treatments such as exercise, maintaining diet, and non-drug therapy through the use of herbal ingredients. In this era of globalization, there are still people who choose to consume medicinal plants rather than consuming chemical treatments. This research aims to review various types of plants that can be an alternative treatment for hypertension. The method used is a literature study via Google Scholar. Based on the results of a literature study, several journals were found that discussed plants that can treat hypertension, such as starfruit, green tea, African leaves, suruhan herbs, garlic, and celery leaves. This is because these plants contain flavonoids, saponins, and tannins which can control blood pressure.

Penyuluhan teknologi pengendalian hayati hama dan penyakit tanaman di Desa Kasang Kota Karang, Kecamatan Kumpeh Ulu, Kabupaten Muaro Jambi, bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan petani tentang metode pengendalian yang ramah lingkungan. Kegiatan ini difokuskan pada pengenalan agen hayati sebagai alternatif pengganti pestisida kimia, untuk mengurangi dampak negatif terhadap lingkungan dan kesehatan. Melalui penyuluhan ini, diharapkan para petani dapat mengimplementasikan teknik pengendalian hayati secara efektif, sehingga produktivitas pertanian meningkat dan keberlanjutan pertanian di wilayah tersebut terjaga. Hasilnya, penyuluhan ini berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran dan keterampilan petani dalam pengendalian hama secara hayati.

Begitu pentingnya air bersih bagi kehidupan manusia, sehingga memungkinkan penyediaan menjadi terbatas apabila pemanfaatannya tidak diatur dengan baik, sehingga harus dibuat suatu jaringan perpipaan yang tertata baik untuk mendistribusikan air bersih secara merata agar dapat optimal pemanfaatannya. Pengembangan dan pengelolan sistem irigasi, yang merupakan salah satu komponen pendukung keberhasilan pengembangan sistem pengairan yang mempunyai peran sangat penting dan strategis. Berkaitan dengan pengembangan kebun alam regeneratif sekolah alam Ar ridho sebagai media belajar tentang pertanian, perkebunan dan peternakan yang sangat membutuhkan air bersih untuk pengairan, penyiraman tanaman dan penyediaan air minum ternak.Masalah yang sering dihadapi oleh masyarakat yaitu tingginya kadar kekeruahan, kegiatan peningkatan kualitas air bersih meliputi pengamanan dan penetapan kualitas fisik air  (bebas dari warna, bau, kekeruhan dan rasa), bebas dari bahan kimia berbahaya, bebas dari sinar radioaktif maupun bakteriologis (mikroorganisme patogen). Sistem transmisi merupakan sistem pengangkutan air dari bangunan pengambilan air baku ke area yang dituju sehingga menjadi penghubungan antara sistem pengumpulan dengan sistem distribusi EPANET yang secara luas melakukan periode simulasi dari hidrolika dan kualitas air dalam jaringan pipa bertekanan. EPANET juga dapat mensimulasikan konsentrasi zat kimia yang ditambahkan pada suatu jaringan, umur air dan pola outflow dari sumber air.

Disease control of chili leaf citra plants is an important aspect in modern agriculture to increase crop yields and reduce losses due to pest attacks on chili leaf citra plants. In this research, identification of chili leaf diseases uses Gray Level Co-Occurrence to obtain image features, and the Support Vector Machine (SVM) method is used to classify the feature extraction results according to leaf disease categories in the test image. Based on the disease class using the test image. .As a classification tool for identifying plant pests in images of chili leaves, the dataset used in this research consists of images of leaves that represent normal conditions and conditions attacked by pests. The pest identification process consists of several stages, including image pre-processing, feature extraction, as well as training and testing. SVM model.

The potential of rhizobacteria as plant growth promoters in increasing crop production in saline soils continues to be carried out by exploring the types of isolates from the rhizosphere of saline soils.  The purpose of this study was to obtain the types of isolates that have the potential to be developed as biofertilizers in saline soils.  The research was conducted by isolating rhizosphere soil from saline soil and then testing the ability of the resulting isolates to produce phytohormones in the form of IAA, the ability to dissolve phosphate, the ability to fix nitrogen and the ability to produce the enzyme ACC deaminase. The results showed that isolates KNW 2.1, KNW 2.2, KNW 2.3 and KNW 3.2 have potential as rhizobacteria that promote plant growth in saline soils as indicated by their ability to produce the hormone IAA, the ability to dissolve phosphate, the ability to fix nitrogen, and the ability to produce the enzyme ACC deaminase which is higher than the other isolates.

Air pollution is not an unfamiliar phenomenon for areas surrounding industries. The Cikoneng area has a wok industry center where the production process produces air pollution fumes. The wok industry center is adjacent to residential houses so that the factory smoke produced has an impact on the health of the surrounding community. Therefore, the targets of counseling are community leaders, health cadres, youth organizations, and residents who live around the industrial area. The purpose of this empowerment activity is to increase community knowledge, awareness, and creativity towards planting Sansevieria plants with the kokedama technique to maintain environmental health around the wok industry. The material was given using the lecture method with the help of power point media and leaflets. While the practice of planting Sansevieria with kokedama technique uses lecture and simulation methods. The Wilcoxon test was used to measure the level of knowledge of participants from the pre-test and post-test results which could show a difference in results before and after providing material with asymp. Sig (2-tailed) of 0.002, it can be concluded that there is an increase in knowledge in participants who take part in counseling activities. It is hoped that the people of Jetak Hamlet can minimize air pollution generated from the wok industry process by planting Sansevieria plants.

Berkurangnya lahan yang tersedia untuk budidaya tanaman adalah salah satu ciri khas daerah perkotaan. Lahan pekarangan sebagian besar kurang dimanfaatkan, terutama untuk menanam sayuran. Lahan pekarangan milik warga di Kelurahan Mijen yang terletak di pusat Kota Semarang ini dapat dimanfaatkan meskipun ukurannya kecil. Memaksimalkan pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan untuk budidaya sayuran merupakan tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari 2024 di Kelurahan Mijen, dengan sasaran utama kelompok mualaf, kaum dhuafa, dan penyandang disabilitas. Empat puluh tiga orang berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini, meliputi mahasiswa, dosen, kaum dhuafa, Lazizmu Kota Semarang, kelompok mualaf, dan kelompok difabel. Terdapat sejumlah aktivitas yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan tersebut, seperti membuat media tanam untuk menanam sayuran. Sebanyak 69,2% dari hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa peserta kegiatan mengetahui cara mengatur dan memelihara lahan tanam, dan 100% dari data menunjukkan bahwa peserta mengetahui cara membuat media tanam. Peserta kegiatan menyatakan bahwa kegiatan ini bermanfaat, dengan 71,3% mengharapkan bahwa program tersebut akan ditingkatkan dan berkelanjutan.

Using plant-based pesticides is a good step for agriculture that is more environmentally friendly than chemical pesticides. Vegetable pesticides are more natural and safer for the environment than chemical pesticides because they are made from natural ingredients. The impacts that will be felt if the use of chemical pesticides continues will have an impact on animals and humans. Chemical pesticides have the most significant effect, namely causing the death of several other animals besides organisms. In addition, exposure to chemical pesticides also has significant effects on human health. Achievements in this community service can increase knowledge about pest control by using vegetable pesticides from onion skins which can be used as natural pesticides and the community can switch from using chemical pesticides to vegetable pesticides which are more environmentally friendly.

Hypertension is defined as persistent blood pressure with a systolic pressure ≥140/90 mmHg. Hypertension is one of the risk factors that most influences the incidence of heart disease, blood vessels and stroke. Hypertension often shows no symptoms, so it is only realized when it has caused organ disorders such as heart dysfunction or stroke. One of the causes of hypertension is unhealthy lifestyle factors, one of which is a lack of vegetable consumption which has the risk of causing hypertension. Based on Field Learning Practice (PBL) 1 activities, namely community diagnosis in Citangkolo Hamlet, Kujangsari Village, Langensari District, Banjar City, in 2023, a priority health problem was found, namely hypertension, with the number of sufferers reaching a percentage of 54% of the total 231 people. This is due to the lack of vegetable consumption in the community. Based on this problem, PBL 2 activities were carried out, by carrying out innovative intervention activities for the SI ELNINO program (Alternative Intervention for Citangkolo Hypertension Reducing Plants) which was carried out so that people would pay more attention to consumption patterns by planting pak choy and celery vegetables as a form of control, namely reducing the blood pressure of hypertension sufferers. . This activity is carried out in the form of counseling and providing education, Training of Trainers, and planting by empowering the Women Farmers Group (KWT) with a vegetable planting movement. This activity was attended by posbindu cadres, KWT, and the Citangkolo hamlet community. Through outreach activities there is a significant increase in public knowledge regarding hypertension as proven by the results of the pretest and posttest with a p-value <0.001. So this activity has succeeded in increasing the knowledge of the Citangkolo hamlet community regarding hypertension.

Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Mojopuro Wuryantoro Wonogiri Jawa Tengah. Desa tersebut merupakan desa petani, dimana penduduknya mengandalkan hidup dari hasil pertanian. Selain ditanami padi, desa ini juga memiliki tanaman sorgum yang secara rutin ditanam setiap tahunnya. Sebagian sorgum yang dipanen dijual dalam bentuk mentah dengan harga yang tidak terlalu tinggi. Mengubah sorgum menjadi kue kering dapat merubah kebiasaan petani yang hanya menjual sorgum dalam bentuk mentah. Dengan mengubah sorgum menjadi makanan lain yang lebih enak akan menggairahkan petani untuk mengolah sorgum lebih lanjut, minimalnya untuk dikonsumsi sendiri dan secara bertahap merubahnya menjadi kegiatan ekonomi yang dapat meningkatkan pendapatan petani.Pengabdian telah dilaksanakan pada bulan April 2017 yang lalu dan ternyata memberikan dampak pada petani khususnya kelompok Wanita Tani Rahayu Widodo yaitu berubahnya pengetahuan mereka terhadap komoditi sorghum dan perubahan keinginan mereka untuk memanfaatkan bahan baku sorghum menjadi makanan yang bernilai ekonomi tinggi.Kata kunci : sorgum, makanan tradisional, Mojopuro Wonogiri

Health education about the benefits of herbal plants as anti-gout arthritis drugs needs to be done to help people increase their knowledge so that they can apply wise actions and attitudes that can improve their quality of life. The purpose of community service activities is to find out the effect of health socialization on the use of herbal plants on gout by assessing the increase in knowledge, attitudes, actions of participants and assistance in making ginger tea as a prevention of gout arthritis, as well as conducting gout screening tests. Methods of community service activities in the form of counseling, outreach, and education as well as assistance in making ginger medang which will then be evaluated with pre and post counseling questionnaires. The number of participants 30 people are people who live in the work area of the Palembang Kertapati Health Center. An indicator of the success of counseling is an increase in the knowledge, attitudes and actions of community service participants. In the results of the study, it was known that the level of knowledge before socialization and education was 36.7% and increased after socialization (86.7%); attitude of participants before socialization 80% after socialization increased to 100%; action before socialization 63.3% after socialization 100%. It is known that there is an influence from education and outreach in the form of increasing knowledge, attitudes and actions of the community at the Kertapati Health Center, Palembang City, South Sumatra so that a follow-up program is needed in the form of intensive counseling for health center cadres as the spearhead of information on a wider range of people.

Modern agriculture increasingly relies on technology to increase efficiency and productivity, so that humans nowadays always need tools that can make their work easier, especially for monitoring soil moisture. in presenting a soil moisture control monitoring system tool, which can be used by the community for efficient gardening. Where the system uses microcontroller technology which has been developed internationally. The creation of this system aims to make gardening easier. From the case studies raised in this research, the lack of efficient soil moisture affects plant growth. A system was created to produce a tool for controlling and monitoring soil moisture conditions in waterfall method plants. The stages of this research include analysis, system design, implementation, testing and maintenance. The implication of this research is the optimization of the gardening process by farmers in maintaining soil moisture by automatically turning on and turning off buttons. This system is based on IoT which is a soil moisture sensor using a soil moisture sensor & I2C LCD as a monitoring tool. It is said that the soil is damp if the water content is 60% -80%, if it is less than this then the water pump will turn on automatically.

This study aims to determine the effect of giving neem leaf extract (Azadirachta indica A. Juss) as a vegetable pesticide against Helopeltis antonii pests on cocoa plants (Theobroma cacao L.). This research was conducted in Hebing Village, Mapitara District, Sikka Regency, which lasted for one month, from March 1 to March 31, 2023. The research method used was an experimental method with a Randomized Block Design (RBD). The factor studied was the effect of neem leaf extract on the number of punctures by Helopeltis antonii on cocoa pods, which consisted of 5 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments used in this study were P0: Without neem leaf extract (control), P1: 30ml neem leaf extract, P2: 60ml neem leaf extract, P3:90ml neem leaf extract, and P4: 150ml neem leaf extract. The parameter measured was the number of punctures by Helopeltis antonii. Research data were analyzed by normality test and homogeneity test. The normality test shows that the significance value is 0.200, which is a significant value > 0.05, meaning that the data is declared normal. The homogeneity test shows a significance value of 0.372, which is a significant value > 0.05 so the data is declared homogeneous. Based on the results of the ANOVA test, it was concluded that the administration of neem leaf extract affected the number of Helopeltis antonii pest pricks between treatments.

This study aims to evaluate the effect of grafting and budding techniques on the growth and success of avocado (Persea americana) plant propagation. Grafting and budding techniques are vegetative methods commonly used in horticultural plant propagation to maintain the genetic quality of the parent plant. The study was conducted using avocado plants with grafting and budding techniques on the rootstock. The parameters observed included the level of success of unification (compatibility rate), shoot growth rate, survival percentage, and growth in stem diameter and plant height during a certain period. The results showed that the grafting technique provided a higher success rate than the budding technique on certain varieties, with a survival percentage reaching 85%. However, the budding technique showed advantages in the parameter of shoot growth rate, especially on varieties with specific or better environmental adaptation. This study shows that choosing the right propagation technique, depending on the characteristics of the variety and environmental conditions, is a key factor in supporting the success of avocado plant propagation. These findings are expected to be a reference for farmers and researchers in optimizing the production of high-quality avocado seedlings.

Introduction: Digital transformation in the agricultural sector has become an urgent need to increase efficiency and productivity, especially in tropical regions that are rich in natural resources but face challenges in adopting technology. Purposed: To analyze the socio-economic factors influencing the adoption of precision agricultural technology by farmers in tropical agro-ecological areas. Research method: A quantitative approach with an explanatory survey design was used in this study, with a sample consisting of crop farmers selected randomly. The independent variables analyzed include age, education, income, land area, access to credit, and participation in farmer groups, while the dependent variable is the level of adoption of precision technology. Results: Logistic regression showed that education, income, access to credit, and participation in farmer groups have a significant impact on the adoption of precision technology. In contrast, land area did not show a significant effect on technology adoption. Access to credit and education had a very strong influence on the adoption decision, followed by income and participation in farmer groups. This study suggests the need for improving access to education, providing adequate financing schemes, and empowering farmer groups to enhance the adoption of precision agricultural technology in tropical areas. Thus, policies supporting precision agriculture technology are expected to improve productivity and sustainability in the region.
