Vaping is when you inhale a mist through a power based device, filled with flavourings, chemicals, and nicotine (Texas Health and Human Services, nd). Teenagers tend to vape due to external influences such as advertisements and social interactions, which has a significant contribution in the role of gaining societal acceptance of vaping amongst teenagers (CDC, nd). However its use in teenagers is illegal as per the Indonesian Government Regulation Number 109 2012, which restricts individuals below 18 years old from vaping. A study conducted in 2018 has reported that teenagers have started vaping from 2017. Despite rules and regulations, teenagers are still able to access it which makes the law enforcement ineffective that leads to teenagers being able to have access to vapes. This research will investigate the influence of social media and peer pressure on underage vaping, focusing on how contents on social media, their peers along with social interactions shape the perspective and behaviour of a teenager towards vaping. This following topic is important as social media plays a significant role in the normalisation of vaping despite harmful effects. It aims to recognize how social media and interactions among fellow peers influence a teenager. With the use of qualitative and quantitative methods such as surveys and interviews, it will also apply theories from 3 thinkers to have a better understanding of a teenager’s decision.

Thousands of metric tonnes of garbage remain unmanaged, and despite available solutions, many people are still reluctant to participate in proper waste disposal. This study aimed to identify the reasons behind the unwillingness of different age groups in Kuta Selatan, Badung, Bali to separate their garbage into biodegradable and non-biodegradable categories. This qualitative research used surveys and interviews for data collection. The survey involved three age groups: adolescents (10–19) with 15 respondents, young adults (20–39) with 15 respondents, and middle adults (40–60) with 11 respondents. Interviews were conducted with two environmental experts, and the data were analyzed using thematic analysis. The results showed that reluctance across age groups stemmed mainly from limited awareness of the environmental benefits of waste separation and the negative impacts of improper disposal. Adolescents additionally cited the lack of strict policies and penalties. Young and middle adults shared similar reasons, mostly linked to insufficient knowledge and low motivation. Environmental experts emphasized the importance of improving public awareness of waste management practices and enhancing waste management infrastructure through additional facilities and better-quality services. Overall, this study highlights the need for stronger policies, improved infrastructure, and increased public education to boost community participation in waste separation in Kuta Selatan.

Attention span and cognitive focus in young minds these days are increasingly structured by the growing influence of digital distractions. Drawing from the ideas of Foucault and Nietzsche, this paper examines how technology molds behavior and, at the same time, is used as a tool of control through power relations. This digitally fosters a form of nihilism, the sense life has no purpose. By using a mixed-methods approach, this research combines the surveying and in-depth interviewing of students and instructors about how technology influences attention, learning, and academic performance. Results indicate that while technology brings many benefits, it also provides significant challenges-most notably via social media and smartphone distractions. These distractions reduce attention spans, decrease deep learning, and contribute to cognitive overload. This study therefore calls for the integration of technology into education in a balanced way, highlighting digital literacy, mindful use, and distraction-reduction strategies. In the process, self-awareness, self-regulation, and responsible use will allow people to use its benefits rather than fall into disengagement and cynicism. Technology should serve as a tool for learning and growth-not a barrier to focus and intellectual development.

Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) is one of the indicators of the quality of maternal and child health services in a country. Based on data from the 2024 SDKI (Indonesia Demographic and Health Survey), the maternal mortality rate decreased compared to the previous year, from 4,482 cases in 2023 to 4,150 deaths in 2024, but this figure is still far from the 2030 SDG target. In an effort to reduce maternal mortality, the government's program is the Program for Birth Planning and Complication Prevention (BPCR or P4K in bahasa), which emphasizes community empowerment in monitoring pregnant, delivering, and postpartum mothers. In its implementation, P4K still faces obstacles, one of which is the lack of knowledge among mothers and the community regarding P4K. This also occurs in RW17, Cilendek Barat Village, where many people are still unaware of P4K. Health education interventions about the importance of P4K are one of the activities carried out to increase the knowledge of mothers and the community. Participants are pregnant women, community health workers, and neighborhood association leaders. The success of the activity is measured by assessing participants' knowledge before and after the education is conducted. After education was provided, there was an 84% improvement in participants' knowledge. This activity involved community leaders, so it is hoped that it can increase knowledge and understanding of the importance of P4K.

Misconceptions are understandings that do not conform to scientifically accepted concepts, but are believed to be true by students. Misconceptions in elementary school students tend to be resistant and difficult to change if not identified early. This study aims to analyze the misconceptions of sixth grade elementary school students on the material of the human movement system. This material is often considered complex because it involves the relationship between bones, joints, muscles, and the health of the movement system. The type of research used is quantitative with a survey design. The research subjects consisted of 19 sixth grade students of SD Negeri Growong Kidul 02 who were selected through a total sampling technique. The research instrument was 10 diagnostic test items in a four-tier format (four levels) which included the level of answer, answer confidence, reasons, and reason confidence. The results showed that students' conceptual understanding was divided into three main categories: Concept Understanding (PK) of 48.42%, Misconception (M) of 50.53%, and Lack of Understanding (KP) of 1.05%. Aceh Tamiang Regency is an area with a high risk of annual flooding. This emergency condition often triggers a surge in environment-related diseases such as skin diseases, respiratory infections, and diarrhea. The success of managing health crises heavily depends on pharmaceutical logistics management, especially the availability of essential medicines and ease of access for refugees at evacuation points. This study aims to analyze the extent of medicine availability at community health centers and health posts, as well as to evaluate the barriers to medicine accessibility for flood victims in Aceh Tamiang Regency. This study uses a qualitative/quantitative descriptive method (choose one) with a case study approach. Primary data were collected through in-depth interviews with pharmaceutical logistics officers and surveys of flood survivors. Secondary data were obtained from the drug stock reports of the Aceh Tamiang District Health Office. Analysis was conducted on variables such as drug types, stock amounts (Buffer Stock), and distribution channels during the emergency response period. The results of the study indicate that the availability of drugs in the initial disaster phase tends to be (state the prediction, e.g., sufficient/limited). However, accessibility is often hindered by damaged road infrastructure and uneven distribution to remote posts. There is an urgent need to strengthen the logistics early warning system so that the types of medicines available match the disease patterns that emerge after floods. Although medicine stocks are generally available in central pharmacy warehouses, geographical constraints and distribution coordination are the main factors hindering accessibility. It is recommended that local governments map out alternative distribution routes and provide disaster-specific buffer stock of medicines at the sub-district level.
