Conservation is one of the ways taken by the government to protect, conserve, and maintain biodiversity and its ecosystems from extinction. So that the provisions of Article 21 paragraph 2 of Law no.5 of 1990 concerning the Conservation of Natural Resources and Their Ecosystems are expressly regulated regarding the prohibition of trading and utilizing protected animals, including eggs and other parts. Poaching, turtle egg theft, and coastal pollution are some of the factors that cause the drastic decline in the population of these rare animals. One of the turtle conservation places in Lembata Regency is the Loang Turtle Conservation. This research is an empirical juridical research, namely reviewing and analyzing the turtle conservation process by the people of Riabao Village and Duawutun Village, and knowing the participation of the people of Riabao Village and Duawutun Village in turtle conservation efforts. By using a special approach and approach to legislation that examines the conformity between the applicable legal provisions and the facts that occur in the field. The results of this study show that: (1) Apart from the declining population and government policy attachment related to the prohibition of turtle hunting, another major factor in the establishment of this captivity geographically is because the Loang coastline is the destination area for the migration of turtles. (2) Community participation in conservation efforts of turtles as protected animals on the coast of Loang, Riabao Village and Duawutun Village, Nagawutung District, Lembata Regency, which was initially a group of conservation youth who felt very concerned about the survival of the ancient animal.

This research aims to find out the impact of owning coastal areas which are used as tourist attractions. This research is empirical research because it places primary data in the community as the main data which is analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results of the research show that the impact of ownership of coastal areas that are used as tourist attractions triggers violations because this control is linked to the control of coastal areas of indigenous communities, and is then recognized by law. This then results in a conflict of interest because coastal people tend to carry out activities and work at sea, and utilize these aquatic resources as a target to fulfill their daily needs. The economic activities of residents on the coast who tend to work as fishermen and farmers are certainly not used to other activities. Meanwhile, tourism development in villages that have the potential for beautiful marine and coastal resources generally aims to introduce and utilize, even improve the quality of natural objects and attractions. This then also causes losses to the government and local communities because apart from having an impact on the physical environment which experiences a decline due to human activity at the tourist location itself, all income and benefits are also received in full by the business owner. In this condition, the village government does not get any share, because tourist attractions are recognized as private property.

This study aims to describe the strategy for establishing a Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) in improving the welfare of the people of Manulea Village, Sasitamean District, Malaka Regency using a SWOT analysis. The method used in the study is qualitative, aimed at obtaining data based on existing conditions, the results of direct interviews with informants and from existing documents. The results of this study indicate that the Establishment of a Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) in Manulea Village has quite good potential to develop BUMDes by selecting a strategic location and close to a major road so that it becomes a special attraction to invite people from surrounding sub-districts to visit. Then the weakness of the Manulea Village community does not yet have adequate human resources to contribute to BUMDes. Next, Manulea Village has very abundant natural resources. Then the Village government strongly supports the establishment of BUMDes so that it is expected to help efforts to alleviate poverty, unemployment and improve the welfare of the Manulea Village community and the threat is that several businesses owned by the Manulea Village community are similar to the business that will be held by BUMDes. The construction industry is one of the sectors that has a significant impact on environmental damage due to high energy consumption, exploitation of natural resources, and carbon emissions. In response to these challenges, this study aims to analyze the potential for implementing sustainable construction materials to support the development of green infrastructure. Using qualitative methods through literature studies, documentation, observation, and in-depth interviews, this study evaluates the advantages, challenges, and economic and environmental impacts of various innovative materials, such as foam glass, green wall systems, bamboo composites, eco-cement, and mycelium-based blocks. The results show that these materials are able to reduce carbon emissions, increase building energy efficiency, and offer long-term cost savings. Mycelium-based blocks, in particular, are recorded as the most effective material in reducing construction costs by up to 25% and CO₂ emissions by 250 kg per project. However, the implementation of sustainable materials in Indonesia still faces obstacles such as cost, material availability, and technical regulations. Therefore, synergy is needed between the government, academics, and industry in encouraging research, preparing technical standards, and public awareness campaigns to expand the adoption of environmentally friendly materials in the national construction sector.

Cost Recovery is a vital element in production sharing contracts (PSCs) within the oil and gas sector, allowing contractors to recover costs incurred during exploration and production through revenues generated from oil and gas production. This mechanism has a direct impact on the sustainability of operations and the management of natural resources, which in turn plays a critical role in supporting the national economy. This study aims to analyze the role and contribution of the cost recovery scheme in enhancing Indonesia's economic development, focusing on optimizing state revenue, increasing both foreign and domestic investment, and promoting the development of sustainable energy infrastructure. The method used in this study is a literature review, which includes data from journals and published articles. The main findings of the study show that the cost recovery scheme not only functions as an instrument to ensure the sustainability of upstream oil and gas operations but also has a significant impact on other economic aspects. In the context of national economic development, this scheme contributes to increasing state revenue through taxes and royalties, creating jobs, and supporting local economic development in oil and gas-producing regions. Moreover, cost recovery opens up opportunities for technology transfer and enhances human resource capacity in the energy sector.
