The rate of deliveries by cesarean section (CS) continues to increase globally and is projected to reach 29% by 2030. Although CS is medically effective in ensuring maternal and neonatal safety, the procedure often results in moderate to severe postoperative pain, which may hinder early mobilization, slow recovery, and reduce the mother’s overall quality of life. Effective pain management is therefore crucial. Non-pharmacological therapies such as endorphin massage and lavender aromatherapy have been recognized as complementary approaches that stimulate the release of relaxation hormones, provide natural analgesic effects, and help reduce anxiety. This study aimed to analyze the effect of combining endorphin massage and lavender aromatherapy on reducing pain levels in post-cesarean section mothers. A quasi-experimental design with a pre–posttest control group was employed. A total of 34 respondents were selected using purposive sampling and divided into intervention and control groups. The study was conducted in the maternity ward of SMC Telogorejo Hospital from March to April 2025. The intervention group received endorphin massage combined with lavender aromatherapy for 10–30 minutes, while the control group was given deep breathing relaxation only. Pain levels were measured before and after the intervention using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS). Data were collected through questionnaires and medical records, and analyzed using univariate and bivariate techniques with the Mann–Whitney test. Results showed a p-value of 0.000 and Z = -3.774, indicating a significant effect of the intervention. These findings suggest that endorphin massage combined with lavender aromatherapy is effective in reducing postoperative pain. Further studies with larger samples are recommended to explore the optimal duration and frequency of therapy.

This design project is motivated by the low public interest in sports and the limited availability of sports facilities, creating a need for a sports hall that is both effective and efficient in enhancing the community’s quality of life. However, the mere provision of a sports facility is not sufficient; considerations such as building orientation, opening design, and airflow circulation are essential to create an optimal environment for sports activities. Therefore, the tropical architecture approach serves as the primary design basis for the sports hall in Asahan Regency. The aim of this design is to support a healthy lifestyle and improve the quality of life of the local community through comfortable and safe sports activities. The design method adopts a qualitative approach, with data collected through interviews and field observations to understand the needs and preferences of the community. The design also reflects local identity through a mass transformation inspired by the shell form, symbolizing the city of Asahan. The shell structure system is known for its slenderness, making it lightweight and efficient, while its curvature ensures even load distribution. This approach can serve as a model for future sports facility developments in Asahan Regency. This sports hall is expected to become a central hub for athletes in Asahan, providing optimal training facilities to improve their performance. With a modern building and complete facilities, the community can engage in sports activities more comfortably and safely, thus increasing public interest in sports and enhancing overall well-being. This design also aims to promote awareness of the importance of a healthy lifestyle through an effective and efficient sports center.

Before entering marriage, a person will generally choose a partner who meets their criteria. Choosing a partner is not something to be done carelessly, as this decision has a significant impact on the journey of the household and the harmony of the relationship in the future. Factors influencing partner selection can be very diverse, ranging from personal values, social environment, to the influence of developments in the times and mass media. One popular cultural phenomenon that also influences is K-Pop. For some people, a deep interest in K-Pop idols or artists can form certain standards or criteria in choosing a life partner. This study aims to determine the influence of idol worship on partner selection preferences among early adult female K-Popers in West Sumatra. The study subjects were 120 people selected using a snowball sampling technique. The study used a quantitative method, with instruments in the form of an idol worship scale and a partner selection preference scale compiled by researchers based on the dimensions of idol worship by Cheung and Yue (2018) and aspects of partner selection preferences by Townsend and Roberts (1993). The results of a simple linear regression analysis indicate that, in general, idol worship has no significant effect on partner choice preferences (sig = 0.405 > 0.05). However, when examined by dimension, attachment (sig = 0.002 < 0.05) and idealization (sig = 0.001 < 0.05) significantly influence partner choice preferences. This finding indicates that emotional aspects and idealization of idols can shape the criteria or ideal image of a desired partner, although idol worship does not have a direct effect overall.

Corruption is an extraordinary crime that not only causes massive state financial losses but also impedes national development. Efforts to eradicate corruption are insufficient if limited to the imprisonment of perpetrators; they must be accompanied by state asset recovery. The prosecutor, as the dominus litis in the criminal justice sistem, plays a central role in the process of seizing assets derived from corruption. This research aims to analyze the authority of prosecutors to seize assets in corruption cases, identify the obstacles encountered, and formulate solutions to optimize the exercise of this authority. The research method employed is normative juridical, utilizing a statutory approach and a case approach. The findings indicate that prosecutors have a strong legal basis for asset seizure, as stipulated in the Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP), the Anti-Corruption Law, and other relevant regulations. However, in practice, prosecutors face various obstacles, both juridical, such as legal loopholes in the evidentiary process, and non-juridical, such as the complex modus operandi of perpetrators in concealing assets, slow inter-agency coordination, and challenges in tracing assets located abroad. Therefore, it is imperative to strengthen the regulatory framework through the enactment of the Asset Forfeiture Bill, enhance the capacity and integrity of prosecutors, and bolster international cooperation to maximize the recovery of state losses.

The magnesium alloy AZ31B is increasingly used in biomedical applications, particularly as an implant material, due to its relatively low aluminum content and mechanical properties that closely resemble those of bone. Additionally, AZ31B exhibits corrosion resistance that is suitable for biological environments. These properties make it a promising material for bone implants. However, one of the main challenges in using magnesium is its high degradation rate in the body, which can affect the stability and function of the implant. Therefore, surface modification is necessary to control the degradation rate and enhance the material's durability. One effective method to reduce the corrosion rate of AZ31B is the Plasma Electrolytic Oxidation (PEO) technique. PEO can form a hard, protective oxide layer on the surface of the metal, which helps improve its corrosion resistance. This study aims to explore the effect of the mass composition of hydroxyapatite (HAp) and tricalcium phosphate (TCP) on the PEO coating formed on the AZ31B substrate. The compositions used in this study were 70%:30%, 50%:50%, 40%:60%, and 60%:40%, with an electrolyte solution containing Na₂SiO₃ (2.5 g/L) and KOH (2 g/L). Corrosion characteristics of the coating were evaluated using two methods: weight loss and polarization tests. The results showed that the 70%:30% HAp:TCP composition provided the most optimal results. The polarization test recorded a corrosion rate of 0.22 mpy, while the weight loss test showed a corrosion rate of 0.29 mpy. These findings indicate that the PEO coating with the 70%:30% HAp:TCP composition effectively reduces the corrosion rate of AZ31B, enhancing its potential for biomedical implant applications, particularly in environments where corrosion resistance is crucial for long-term performance in the body.

Film as a form of mass media has an important role in the socio-cultural, artistic, political, as well as scientific realms. Cek Toko Lado 2 is a continuation of the story of the Chinese family of Koh Afuk which is in the comedy genre and directed by Ernest Prakasa. This film not only presents entertainment, but also presents family dynamics, parental expectations, and challenges in maintaining family business while building trust between fellow family members. The stories presented are able to illustrate the social reality of urban communities who are often faced with a dilemma between family interests and individual freedom. The purpose of this research is to analyze the struggle of Erwin's character in fighting for his love for Natalie and his efforts to get the blessing of his future in-laws. The research method used is qualitative with the approach of Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic theory. The data source was obtained through direct observation of scenes and dialogues in the film, and reinforced by documentation and literature studies. The results of the study show that Erwin's struggle can be understood through three main elements in Peirce's semiotics, namely sign, object, and interpretant. First, the spirit of never giving up is reflected in Erwin's consistency in facing various obstacles. Second, the attitude of responsibility can be seen from Erwin's commitment to his career and the romantic relationship he is living. Third, the willingness to sacrifice is evident when Erwin prioritizes personal interests in order to gain the blessing of Natalie's family. In conclusion, this study emphasizes that films not only function as a means of entertainment, but also as a social learning medium that conveys moral messages about struggle, sacrifice, and the importance of trust in family relationships and romance. Thus, Cek Toko Lado 2 is able to be a relevant and inspiring social reflection for the audience, especially urban people who are facing the dynamics of family life and love.

The rapid population growth and urbanization in Jakarta have led to various urban challenges, one of the most significant being traffic congestion, which incurs substantial economic losses. One proposed solution is the development of Transit Oriented Development (TOD) areas, particularly through the expansion of mass transit infrastructure such as the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) system. This study examines the potential for TOD development in the planned East–West MRT Corridor, with a case study focused on the Grogol MRT Station. This area is considered strategically significant due to its integration with multiple transportation modes, including TransJakarta, microtrans services, and a Type B bus terminal. This research employs a quantitative approach, utilizing both primary and secondary data. The assessment is conducted using a TOD Index method based on three core principles: density, diversity, and design. The analysis reveals that the Grogol MRT Station area has a population density of 19,953 people/km² and a building density of 2,741 units/km², both of which meet the criteria for an urban-scale TOD. The land use entropy index is 0.63, indicating a moderate level of land-use diversity. However, the availability of pedestrian paths (33.96%), bicycle lanes (1.67%), parking facilities (1.84%), and open green space (1.79%) remains significantly below the ideal TOD standards. Overall, the TOD Index score for this area is 0.417, placing it among the bottom five MRT stations in Jakarta. Despite this, the area fulfills the density requirements for urban TOD classification. Nevertheless, challenges remain, including insufficient pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure, limited green spaces, and low land-use diversity. Planning interventions are thus necessary, focusing on the provision of integrated pedestrian and cycling infrastructure, functional public spaces, and mixed-use zoning to promote sustainable urban mobility.

Flooding is a hydrometeorological disaster that frequently occurs in Jayapura City, especially in the catchment areas along the Acai River Basin. One of the main factors causing flooding is increased sedimentation triggered by massive land-use changes. This study aims to analyze the relationship between land conversion, increased sedimentation, and flooding in the catchment areas belonging to the Acai River during the period 2014–2024. The method used is a mixed-method approach that combines quantitative, qualitative, and spatial analysis. Data were collected through satellite image interpretation, field surveys, sedimentation measurements, and interviews with the community and related agencies. Spatial analysis was conducted to identify the dynamics of land-use changes and sedimentation zoning. Meanwhile, hydrological analysis was conducted using the Mononobe method and rational calculations to calculate the maximum flood discharge based on annual rainfall and runoff coefficient. The results of the study indicate that over the past decade there has been an increase in built-up land area of more than 80%, which has resulted in an increase in runoff coefficients from 0.223 in 2014 to 0.370 in 2024. The maximum flood discharge has also increased significantly from 60.56 m³/s to 100.41 m³/s. Furthermore, river sedimentation has also increased drastically, especially in the middle and downstream parts of the watershed. The correlation map shows that areas experiencing significant land use conversion are also locations with high sedimentation levels and recurrent flooding. These findings indicate a strong link between land use conversion and increased flood risk through sedimentation mechanisms that provide river channel capacity. Therefore, an integrated watershed management strategy is needed, including controlling land use conversion and restoring riverbank vegetation to minimize the impact of future flooding.

This study aims to describe the social transformations found in the literary aspects of the Advanced Indonesian Language Textbook for grade 11 and analyze its relationship to the construction of the Pancasila Student Profile (P5). The main focus of this study is to examine how the literary works presented in the textbook function not only as a medium for language learning but also as a vehicle for character development and social understanding for students. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with sociological literary analysis techniques, where data is obtained from excerpts from poetry, short stories, and plays that depict social change. The results indicate that the social transformations reflected in these literary works are divided into two main forms: collective behavior and social movements. Collective behavior is demonstrated through themes of fashion and fashion, urban legends, and the phenomenon of mass hysteria, which implicitly depict social conflict, class inequality, and the dynamics of societal culture. Meanwhile, social movements are depicted in the narratives of characters who fight for change against norms, traditions, and social structures that limit freedom. This representation demonstrates resistance, critical awareness, and a drive towards a more just and equal life. The findings of this study are closely related to the dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile, such as critical reasoning skills, a spirit of mutual cooperation, an attitude of upholding social justice, and independence in thought and action. Therefore, it can be concluded that literary works in Indonesian language textbooks not only present aesthetic value and literary appreciation, but also serve as an effective means of instilling national values and supporting the formation of student character in accordance with the vision of Pancasila.
