Modern healthcare services are undergoing transformation toward a more humanistic and patient-centered approach, emphasizing hospitality based services in hospitals. However, many healthcare institutions, particularly in outpatient settings, have not fully adopted this concept. Patients often experience psychological distress, and when coupled with an unsupportive physical environment, their comfort and overall experience may be diminished. These conditions can negatively affect perceptions of service quality, patient satisfaction, and loyalty toward hospital services. This study aimed to analyze the influence of patients’ psychological conditions and the physical environment on hospitality-based services, with patient experience as an intervening variable, at the internal medicine outpatient clinic of BM Hospital. A quantitative research design using a cross-sectional approach was employed. The study involved 200 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using structured questionnaires with Likert-scale items and analyzed with Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results showed that patients’ psychological conditions, the physical environment, and patient experience simultaneously and significantly influenced hospitality-based services. Hypothesis testing confirmed that both psychological conditions and the physical environment had a direct and significant impact on hospitality-based services. Furthermore, patient experience played a mediating role, strengthening the relationship between these factors and perceived service quality. The findings highlight the need for hospitals to integrate psychological support and a conducive physical environment into outpatient care delivery. Enhancing these dimensions can improve patient experience, foster greater satisfaction and comfort, and build stronger loyalty toward hospital services

This study aims to examine in depth the level of effectiveness and obstacles faced in the use of RME. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach that aims to describe in depth the effectiveness and obstacles in the use of RME at the Baleendah Health Center. Data collection techniques were carried out through triangulation, namely, observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants in this study consisted of three people, namely the Head of the Puskesmas, medical records officer, and a doctor. Overall, the results showed that the implementation of RME at the Puskesmas received full support from the management, including aspects of funding, training, technology, and regular evaluation of the problems faced. RME has become the main focus because it is considered more effective and efficient than manual systems, especially in accelerating and improving the accuracy of services. However, the implementation still encountered a number of obstacles, such as internet network disruptions in the early stages, which have now been resolved by adding devices at certain points. The limited number of IT experts is also an obstacle because it slows down the handling of technical problems. In addition, server disruptions still occur because data storage is centralized at Diskominfo along with 62 other Puskesmas in Bandung Regency, which causes delays in data access.

Community Health Centers (Puskesmas) serve as the frontline for basic healthcare services for the community. However, the services at Waimangura Community Health Center are not yet fully optimal due to several obstacles, particularly in patient data recording, which is essential for registering every individual who visits for health check-ups, registration, and medical record management. Therefore, an information technology-based system is needed to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of services. This research aims to implement a healthcare service system at Waimangura Community Health Center using the CodeIgniter 3 framework by applying the MVC (Model, View, Controller) method. The MVC method was chosen because it can separate application logic, display, and data management, making the system more structured, easier to develop, and maintaining consistency. The research stages include needs analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The implementation results show that the built system is capable of assisting officers in patient registration, medical record data management, and information services. Patients also benefit from more transparent and efficient services. Based on the trial results, the system operates according to user needs and can improve the quality of healthcare services at the Waimangura Community Health Center. Thus, the implementation of CodeIgniter 3 with the MVC method has proven effective in building a structured, easily maintainable healthcare service system that can be further developed to support digital-based healthcare services.

Prenatal exercise plays a vital role in maintaining the physical and mental well-being of pregnant women. This activity helps reduce common discomforts such as back pain, enhances stamina, and strengthens pelvic muscles in preparation for childbirth. However, knowledge among pregnant women regarding safe and effective exercises remains limited. The lack of structured information often leads to uncertainty and discourages participation in physical activities during pregnancy. This condition highlights the need for well-directed and comprehensive physiotherapy education. This community service program was conducted in Building B of the Kedungkandang Community Health Center and involved 15 participants. A holistic approach was employed, combining interactive counseling to convey the theoretical benefits and safety of exercise, group discussions to share experiences, and practical demonstrations. The exercises demonstrated were carefully selected to be simple, safe, and easy to perform independently at home, ensuring continuity beyond the educational sessions. The results indicated a significant improvement in participants’ knowledge, as evidenced by the comparison between pre-test and post-test scores. This improvement reflects the growing awareness among pregnant women of the importance of maintaining fitness through structured and safe physical activity. Continuous education through a community physiotherapy approach is necessary to ensure consistent implementation of prenatal exercise and to support long-term behavioral changes toward better maternal health.

Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis. It is transmitted through the air, specifically through droplets expelled by sufferers when coughing or sneezing. TB is divided into two main types: pulmonary TB, which attacks the lungs, and extrapulmonary TB, which can affect other organs such as the pleura, lymph nodes, skin, bones, and meninges. In the Community Health Center (Puskesmas) work area, 77 new cases of pulmonary TB were recorded from January to April 2025. Meanwhile, coverage of Tuberculosis Prevention Therapy (TPT) only reached 44.7%, still below the national target of at least 50%. This condition indicates the need for increased health promotion activities and community diagnostic approaches as promotive and preventive measures, in order to increase TPT coverage and reduce the incidence of TB. The results of the respondent questionnaire showed that the level of public knowledge about TB reached 64.6%, positive attitudes at 94%, and preventive behavior at 72%. Based on these findings, it is recommended that outreach activities be conducted regularly to improve public understanding, which can ultimately encourage behavioral changes and reduce TB cases.

Iron deficiency anemia is a significant public health problem in pregnant women, because it can cause maternal and fetal complications. Compliance with iron tablet consumption is often low due to limited knowledge, side effects, and cultural misconceptions. Leaflet-based education is a low-cost intervention that has the potential to improve understanding and compliance. This study aims to analyze the effect of leaflet education on the adherence of iron tablet consumption in pregnant women at the Pujon Health Center, Batu. The research design used a quasi-experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design. A total of 40 pregnant women were divided into an intervention group (n = 20) that received leaflet education and a control group (n = 20) that received standard counseling. Compliance was measured over four weeks through self-consumption records and tablet count calculations, while knowledge was assessed with a structured questionnaire. Data analysis used the Chi-square test with a significance level of p < 0.05. Drug abuse among university students is a serious phenomenon that affects the social, moral, and intellectual aspects of the younger generation. Students, who are ideally positioned as agents of change and drivers of national development, are often found to be vulnerable to drug abuse. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Law No. 35 of 2009 on Narcotics in preventing drug abuse among university students in Lampung Province, as well as to identify its inhibiting factors. The research employs a normative juridical and empirical juridical approach, using primary and secondary data obtained through interviews, field studies, and literature reviews. Key informants include the Narcotics Directorate of the Lampung Regional Police, P4GN Unila, the Vice-Rector III for Student Affairs and Alumni at Unila, and lecturers from the Criminal Law Department at Unila. The findings show that the Lampung Regional Police have implemented preventive strategies such as counseling, campaigns, urine tests, and drug abuse education on campuses, as well as repressive strategies through law enforcement against students involved in narcotics distribution, with 283 recorded cases over the past five years. However, the effectiveness of implementation is still hindered by limited campus facilities (counseling centers, safe reporting systems), the lack of regulatory responsiveness to digital challenges, and low student trust in law enforcement. Therefore, prevention efforts need to be strengthened through cross-sectoral synergy, policy updates, and the enhancement of the role of universities in creating a safe, healthy, and drug-free campus environment.

Cervical cancer is a malignant tumor that grows in the cervix caused by infection with the Human Papilloma Virus, acquired through sexual intercourse. Indonesia ranks 8th in the highest incidence of cancer in Southeast Asia, the highest prevalence of cancer is Yogyakarta Province where Sleman Regency ranks the highest IVA positive at 2.5% and Halis IVA at the Pakem Health Center is suspected of cervical cancer reaching 13 out of 22 positive IVA results. This achievement is still very low, because there is still low public awareness to carry out early detection of cervical cancer. To determine the relationship between attitude and behavior for early detection of cervical cancer. Quantitative research with a Case Control approach. A sample of 160 women with a proportional sampling technique. Data collection was in the form of filling out questionnaires online using Google Forms with chi square test data analysis and logistic regression. There was a relationship between positive attitude p-value=0.017 and OR of 3.462, women aged >35 years p- value=0.038, multipara parity p-value=0.007, with early detection behavior of cervical cancer. Parity provided a great chance of 7,038 times that women performed early detection behaviors of cervical cancer (CT 95%= 0.187-264,350). To improve early detection examinations, health workers can design health education and promotion models, increase educational socialization to cadres, the public and the community continuously and sustainably.
