This study explores the intersection of classical Islamic philosophical thought and modern environmental ethics to propose a Sharia-based eco-theology model for addressing global sustainability challenges. It investigates key Islamic environmental principles, such as khalifah (stewardship), amanah (trustworthiness), and mizan (balance), which emphasize humanity’s responsibility to protect and preserve the environment. These values, derived from Islamic teachings, offer a moral and spiritual framework for ecological stewardship, aligning closely with contemporary concerns like sustainability, biodiversity preservation, and climate change mitigation. The research integrates these Islamic principles with modern ecological ethics, including ecocentrism, deep ecology, and environmental justice, to construct a holistic eco-theological model. Through this framework, the study emphasizes the importance of balancing ecological, economic, and social factors to promote environmental justice. The findings suggest that Islamic eco-theology can play a significant role in fostering environmental responsibility within Muslim communities and beyond, contributing to global sustainability efforts. Practical applications of these principles are seen in educational initiatives, such as the incorporation of eco-theology into curricula at Islamic institutions, and in community-based environmental projects. The research also highlights the challenges and limitations of traditional interpretations of Islamic environmental ethics, suggesting the need for progressive and adaptive approaches in addressing modern environmental issues. Future research directions include exploring the integration of this eco-theology in policy-making, Islamic education, and cross-cultural applications, ensuring its relevance to diverse communities facing environmental challenges.

This research aims to determine the legal responsibilities of coal companies in fulfilling their achievements due to the export ban. This legal writing is included in the type of normative legal research using a legislative approach including primary legal materials and secondary legal materials collected through document study and analyzed using deductive legal material analysis using the syllogism method. This research examines the implementation of the Decree of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Number 139.K/HK.02/MEM.B/2021 regarding the fulfillment and prioritization of domestic coal needs. The failure to fulfill the Domestic Market Obligation then gave rise to an export ban by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources through the issuance of Circular Letter from the Directorate General of Minerals and Coal, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Number B-605/MB.05/DJB.B/2021. The export ban then causes coal entrepreneurs to be unable to fulfill agreements with foreign companies. Non-fulfillment of achievements due to changes in Government policy in the form of an export ban is analyzed and categorized as force majeure so that non-performance, compensation or cancellation of the agreement cannot be sued. The legal responsibility that can be carried out by coal entrepreneurs in the event of an export ban is to submit a force majeure situation and prove that their party has been in good faith from the beginning until the agreement is in progress.

Natural resource management in Indonesia brings complex conflicts involving stakeholders and the use of natural resources. In particular, the natural resource management paradigm needs to be changed to deal with oil palm-related conflicts in border areas, which have the potential to increase tensions between countries. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of natural resource management policies in Indonesia's border regions, with a focus on conflicts related to palm oil. The research method used is qualitative with a literature study approach, involving in-depth analysis of various sources of information such as scientific journals, government reports and other related literature. The research results show that conflicts related to natural resources tend to be triggered by social and economic inequality, as well as neglect of environmental problems. The importance of managing conflict efficiently using models such as negotiation and facilitation is apparent. Involving local actors, including the community, in making policies has a crucial role in ensuring the suitability of policies with community aspirations. Indonesia has adopted sustainable policies, but barriers such as perception and lack of coordination between levels of government still need to be overcome. Therefore, this research suggests creative and forward-thinking solutions, including civil service reform, increasing ecotourism, and developing active community participation as prospects towards natural resource management.

Digital literacy has become a key foundation for educational innovation and economic participation in the 21st century. As global economies transition toward digitalization, integrating digital competencies into senior high school curricula is increasingly viewed as essential for supporting Sustainable Development Goal 8 (SDG 8), which emphasizes decent work and inclusive economic growth. This study investigates the role of public policy in shaping digital literacy education in senior high schools through a comparative case study of Indonesia, the Philippines, and Canada. Employing qualitative policy analysis, the research explores how each country’s policy framework conceptualizes, implements, and evaluates digital literacy initiatives. The analysis focuses on curriculum integration, resource allocation, and stakeholder involvement, while also examining how these programs contribute to employability and economic resilience. The findings reveal notable differences in policy design and institutional commitment, with Canada demonstrating a more systematic integration of digital literacy, the Philippines emphasizing access and equity, and Indonesia facing challenges related to resource disparities and curriculum consistency. These variations illustrate how national contexts influence the inclusiveness and effectiveness of digital literacy policies. The study concludes with recommendations for policymakers to design context-sensitive, equitable, and future-oriented digital literacy strategies that align with labor market demands and promote sustainable economic growth.

E-waste has become a critical global issue due to the rapid growth of electronic product consumption and the environmental risks associated with improper disposal. Traditional disposal methods, such as landfilling and incineration, are no longer sustainable as they lead to environmental degradation, health hazards, and loss of valuable resources. In contrast, remanufacturing, a key component of the circular economy, offers a more sustainable solution. This study explores the effectiveness of remanufacturing as a strategy for e-waste management, focusing on its ability to reduce waste generation and improve material efficiency in the electronics industry. The research utilizes a case study approach, examining industrial-scale remanufacturing processes, including material input-output analysis to track resource flows and waste streams. The findings reveal a significant reduction in e-waste generation, with up to a 50% decrease in waste volume, and substantial improvements in material recovery, particularly in metals like gold and copper. Additionally, the study highlights the economic and environmental benefits of remanufacturing, such as cost savings and resource conservation. However, the study also identifies barriers to the widespread adoption of remanufacturing, including technological, financial, and regulatory challenges. The results underscore the potential of a circular-economy-based remanufacturing model as a sustainable solution for the electronics industry. The study calls for further research into improving remanufacturing technologies, enhancing policy frameworks, and expanding circular economy practices across various industries.
