Changes that occur during the postpartum period, both physiologically and psychologically, are often experienced by mothers, namely fatigue, changes in roles, and anxiety. One of the factors that causes anxiety in postpartum mothers is trauma caused during childbirth which causes anxiety. Handling anxiety in postpartum mothers can be done non-pharmacologically, namely with jasmine aromatherapy candles. This research aims to determine how giving jasmine aromatherapy candles reduces anxiety in postpartum mothers using qualitative research with case studies and data sources and types of data using interviews, examinations and observations. The implementation technique was carried out by Mrs. L by giving jasmine aromatherapy candles for approximately 10-15 minutes a day and giving aromatherapy to Mrs. L 6 times. The use of aromatherapy candles recommended to Mrs. L is done at night by placing an aromatherapy candle next to the bed so that the postpartum mother can inhale it. Giving jasmine aromatherapy candles to Mrs. L for 6 days, the results showed that Mrs. L felt more relaxed than before he was given the jasmine aromatherapy candle, as indicated by the mother feeling less anxious about caring for her baby and being mildly anxious, so giving the jasmine aromatherapy candle had an impact on reducing Mrs. L's anxiety. The current condition of maternal and child health in Indonesia is still very important to improve and receive special attention. According to 2018 RISKESDES data, it is estimated that around 1 mother dies every hour due to pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum and every day 401 babies die. Overall, the causes of maternal and child death are complex, involving medical aspects that must be handled by health workers. The causes of maternal death are sequentially caused by bleeding, eclampsia, infection, prolonged labor and miscarriage. Most infant deaths are caused by low birth weight (LBW) babies, difficulty breathing at birth and infections. More than half (56%) of infant deaths occur during the newborn period (0-28 days). The family class program is a program designed to implement family involvement in the process of monitoring and improving the health and welfare of mothers and children. People who are in a supportive social environment generally have better conditions compared to people without these benefits. Family support is thought to reduce the effects on an individual's mental health. (Phillips & Pittman, 2014). The Family Class Program will be in line with regional government programs in this case the Banjarmasin Mayor Program, namely the Family Assistance Program by Health workers and also family planning cadres together with PKK cadres, where this program will synergize in the family assistance process starting from prospective brides and grooms to toddlers and monitoring and evaluation will be carried out every year. The Family Class Program which is designed to directly involve cadres, families and Health workers as well as local regional officials so that these two programs can run in tandem and in a directed manner, in its implementation activities will use several innovations such as flip sheets and pocket books which will make it easier for officers to provide assistance.

This study aims to explore the relationship between the quality of antenatal care (ANC) services and the satisfaction levels of pregnant women at the Kuta Raja Community Health Center, Banda Aceh. This relationship is pivotal in understanding how service quality impacts maternal satisfaction and, ultimately, maternal health outcomes. Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) is defined as the number of mothers who die during postpartum, pregnancy, and childbirth. High MMR is often attributed to a lack of awareness and infrequent ANC visits. In 2023, only 86.25% of pregnant women attended ANC services, falling short of the 93% target. Initial observations indicated that 60% of the attendees were dissatisfied with the ANC services at the Kuta Raja Community Health Center. This analytical survey, employing a cross-sectional design, was conducted at the Kuta Raja Community Health Center. The study population included 93 pregnant women, all of whom were surveyed using a total sampling technique. Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate analyses, with the chi-square test employed for bivariate analysis. The study found that certain quality dimensions of ANC services—responsiveness (p < 0.001), assurance (p < 0.005), empathy (p < 0.005), and tangibility (p < 0.001)—were significantly related to the satisfaction levels of pregnant women. However, reliability (p > 0.05) showed no significant relationship with satisfaction. There is a significant relationship between the responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangibility of ANC services and the satisfaction levels of pregnant women at the Kuta Raja Community Health Center. Conversely, reliability did not show a significant correlation with satisfaction. To improve maternal satisfaction and health outcomes, it is recommended that pregnant women regularly attend ANC services and that efforts be made to enhance the quality dimensions that impact satisfaction.
