This research is motivated by the escalating prevalence of illegal online lending practices in Indonesia, which generate a multitude of legal problems, particularly those concerning the validity of loan agreements and debt collection practices. The simplicity of access through smartphone applications, rapid processing times often approved within minutes and minimal administrative requirements have rendered these services immensely popular among the public. However, this accessibility also paves the way for unlicensed providers to operate unchecked, preying on desperate borrowers. The study aims to analyze the legal validity of illegal online loan agreements pursuant to the Indonesian Civil Code (KUHPerdata) and regulations issued by the Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan, OJK). Additionally, it examines the legal position of debt collection from a civil law perspective. A normative juridical method is employed, utilizing statutory and conceptual approaches, with qualitative analysis of the data. The results demonstrate that illegal online loan agreements fail to fulfill the requirements for a valid contract, especially regarding the legal capacity of the parties and lawful cause, categorizing them as null and void by operation of law. Nevertheless, in practice, unlicensed providers continue debt collection efforts, frequently employing methods that violate the law, such as harassment and intimidation. This reveals a significant gap between legal norms and field implementation. The implications emphasize the critical need for robust law enforcement, enhanced consumer protection mechanisms, and stricter oversight of fintech lenders to establish legal certainty and justice for society.

Due to its focus on the psychological components of leadership, motivation, communication, and human resource development in educational institutions, management psychology is becoming an increasingly significant perspective in educational management. The use of management psychology in the classroom is considered crucial for improving organizational performance and teacher motivation. The purpose of this study was to investigate how management psychology can enhance teacher work motivation and its impact on school efficacy. This study reviewed previous research on the use of management psychology in education using a qualitative approach and literature review methodology. Using keywords related to management psychology in education, teacher motivation, educational leadership, and educational organizational performance, systematic search of scientific publications published in the Google Scholar database between 2022 and 2026 was used to collect data. Identification, screening, eligibility evaluation, and final selection of relevant publications were all steps in the literature selection process. Thematic coding techniques were used to examine six selected publications to determine the main findings, methodology, and research emphasis of each study. The findings suggest that the use of management psychology in educational management techniques, such as effective communication, teacher empowerment, supportive leadership, and the establishment of equitable reward systems, can significantly enhance teacher motivation and foster a positive work environment. In addition, these approaches increase the effectiveness of educational institutions, improve teacher performance, and foster collaboration within the school environment. To promote teacher professional development and raise the overall standards of educational institutions, it is crucial for educational administrations to incorporate a psychological perspective.

This study aims to analyze legal protection for victims of violence against women and children from a victimology perspective in Indonesia. The research employs a normative legal method with statutory and conceptual approaches. The results indicate that Indonesia has established adequate legal regulations to protect victims; however, their implementation remains suboptimal and not fully victim-oriented. Victimology emphasizes the importance of fulfilling victims’ rights not only through legal protection but also through psychological and social recovery. The main challenges include limited access to legal aid, lack of understanding among law enforcement officials, and socio-cultural factors that influence victims’ willingness to report cases. Therefore, strengthening the victimology approach within the criminal justice system is necessary to ensure more just and comprehensive protection for victims. Furthermore, community involvement is crucial in supporting victims and reducing negative stigma against them. Providing information and education to the public and law enforcement regarding the rights of victims of violence is a crucial step in achieving effective protection.

This study aims to analyze the criminalization of juvenile victims of drug abuse from a victimology perspective in Indonesia. The research method used is normative legal research with a descriptive approach, conducted through library research on primary and secondary legal materials. The results show that in law enforcement practices, juveniles involved in drug abuse are often treated as offenders and processed through the criminal justice system. A case study in Surabaya reveals that juveniles who should have been recommended for rehabilitation were instead sentenced to imprisonment. From a criminological perspective, juvenile involvement is influenced by environmental factors, peer pressure, and weak family supervision. In the victimological perspective, these juveniles should be viewed as victims who require protection and rehabilitation. Therefore, a paradigm shift in the criminal justice system is needed, emphasizing a rehabilitative approach and legal protection for juveniles. This approach can reduce stigma and support a more effective rehabilitation process, with the hope of helping children's psychological and social recovery.

Prodeo legal aid is one of the ways in which the state fulfils its responsibility to guarantee access to justice for economically disadvantaged members of the public. However, its implementation still faces challenges, particularly budgetary constraints, meaning that not all applications for prodeo legal aid can be processed. This issue arises in Industrial Relations Court (PHI) cases at the Banjarmasin District Court. This study aims to examine the implementation of prodeo services in PHI cases and to analyse these budgetary constraints from a constitutional law perspective. The methodology employed is a normative legal approach with an empirical focus, utilising a review of legislation, interviews, observations, and a literature review. The research findings indicate that prodeo is a service for litigation at no cost, funded by the state through the State Budget Allocation (DIPA). In 2025, a budget of Rp. 33,728,000 was only sufficient to handle 13 cases, meaning the service depends on the availability of funds. This situation reflects a gap between the constitutional guarantee of access to justice and practice on the ground. Therefore, improvements are needed in budget planning, allocation, and management, as well as the strengthening of the role of Legal Aid Posts and Legal Aid Institutions to enhance access to justice for the underprivileged.

The purpose of this writing is to analyze Article 14 of Law Number 31 of 1999 jo. Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning the Eradication of Corruption has a delegative character, because its enactment depends on the provisions of other laws that expressly declare a violation as a criminal act of corruption. The construction of these norms in practice gives rise to ambivalence in law enforcement, especially when various acts that are detrimental to state finances occur in strategic sectors that are not explicitly qualified as corruption crimes in sectoral laws. This condition has the potential to create a legal vacuum and hinder the effectiveness of eradicating corruption as an extraordinary crime. This study aims to analyze the practice of implementing Article 14 of the Law on the Eradication of Corruption and examine these provisions from the perspective of legal certainty, justice, and criminal law policy. The research method used is normative legal research with a legislative approach and a case approach. Research data was obtained through literature studies on primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials that were analyzed qualitatively. The results of the study show that the delegative and limiting nature of Article 14 has implications for the low predictability of the law and opens up ambivalence between norms and law enforcement practices. In reality, law enforcement officials often apply the Corruption Crime Law to acts that are normatively outside the scope of Article 14, taking into account the existence of state financial losses and the interests of substantive justice. Therefore, Article 14 needs to be interpreted systemically and progressively and supported by the reformulation of norms and harmonization of laws and regulations to be in line with the dynamics and complexity of modern corruption crimes.

This study explores the dynamics of children’s character formation within Christian families in the digital era from the perspective of church parents. Employing a descriptive light mixed-methods design, the study integrates survey data and semi-structured interviews to obtain both quantitative and qualitative insights. The findings indicate that digital media has become an integral and unavoidable part of family life, making children’s character formation highly dependent on parental guidance, reflective communication, and consistent faith-based education at home. Parents face various challenges related to time constraints, limited digital literacy, and the increasing exposure of children to external values that may not align with Christian teachings. At the same time, many parents actively utilize technology as a supportive and accessible tool for spiritual learning and moral development. The study concludes that character formation is shaped not merely by technology itself but more significantly by the quality of family relationships and parental role modeling grounded in Christian values. Therefore, the findings recommend strengthening faith-based digital literacy among parents and enhancing church–family collaboration to foster more holistic, balanced, and sustainable character development in children.

Dividend payment is an important financial decision that reflects a company’s performance and prospects from the perspective of investors. However, companies included in the LQ45 index still experience fluctuations in dividend payment policies from year to year. This study aims to analyze the effect of leverage, firm size, profitability, and liquidity on dividend payments of companies listed in the LQ45 index on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2023–2024 period. This research employs a quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from published financial statements. The sample was selected using a purposive sampling method, resulting in 33 companies with a total of 60 observations. Data analysis was conducted using panel data regression with the assistance of SPSS software. Leverage is measured by the Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR), firm size by the natural logarithm of total assets (LnTA), profitability by Return on Assets (ROA), liquidity by the Current Ratio (CR), and dividend payment by the Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR). The results show that leverage, firm size, profitability, and liquidity simultaneously have a significant effect on dividend payments. Partially, firm size and profitability have a positive and significant effect on dividend payments, while leverage and liquidity do not have a significant effect. These findings indicate that companies with larger firm size and higher profitability tend to have a greater ability to distribute dividends to investors.

Curriculum reform in Indonesia has repeatedly emphasized flexibility, deep learning, and student-centered instruction. Nevertheless, many reforms have not been translated effectively into classroom practice. Existing studies tend to focus on teacher competence and policy readiness, while the deeper dimension of teacher beliefs remains underexplored. This study aims to unpack how teacher beliefs shape responses to curriculum reform and to identify the belief-related factors that influence the success or failure of curriculum innovation. A qualitative descriptive design was employed using pre-Delphi reflective questionnaires and Focus Group Discussion data involving senior secondary school teachers and educational stakeholders. Data were analyzed thematically to identify recurring patterns of belief, challenge, and adaptation. The findings reveal that teacher beliefs constitute the most decisive factor in curriculum implementation. Three major themes emerged: (1) a persistent gap between curriculum policy and classroom practice, (2) the difficulty of transforming teachers’ mindsets from fixed to growth-oriented perspectives, and (3) the construction of an ideal teacher identity characterized by reflection, adaptability, collaboration, and moral commitment. More importantly, teachers viewed curriculum change not merely as a technical demand, but as a moral and spiritual responsibility. Curriculum reform will remain ineffective unless it addresses teachers’ internal beliefs. Sustainable transformation requires professional development that integrates cognitive, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of teaching.

This research examines the comparison between Aristotelian Logic and Modern Logic from the perspective of Islamic education. It aims to understand their concepts, significant differences, the perspective of Islamic education, and their contribution to critical thinking. The study employs a philosophical-comparative approach. The findings indicate that Aristotelian Logic, with its deductive approach and syllogism, emphasizes universal truth and coherence. In contrast, Modern Logic focuses on symbolic formalism and empirical verification. Islamic education views logic as an epistemological tool to harmonize reason (`aql) and revelation (naql). The analysis reveals that integrating both logical systems is not only possible but also strategic. Their synthesis gives rise to "tawhidic rationality," a paradigm that combines analytical rigor with spiritual awareness. This integrative model significantly contributes to forming holistic critical thinking skills, where learners are not only intellectually proficient but also grounded in Islamic ethical and spiritual values. Consequently, this study provides a foundation for developing a more relevant Islamic education curriculum.

This study aims to describe the concept of Immersive Commerce based on Augmented Reality (AR) in increasing consumer confidence in E-Commerce transactions and to design a conceptual prototype design framework for an AR E-Commerce system with a clear technical flow. The research method uses a literature study through a comprehensive review of AR-based E-Commerce implementations and needs analysis from the perspective of consumer problems and business opportunities. The main problem identified is consumer hesitation in purchasing products online due to limited visualization that relies solely on product photos, causing fears about differences in shape, size, and quality of goods. The research results produced a conceptual framework that includes an integrated system architecture with a frontend layer (AR visualization engine), backend layer (product database and 3D asset management), and integration layer, as well as a systematic user flow design from the discovery to the decision phase. Based on simulations using literature data, the designed framework has the potential to increase customer engagement by up to 169%, conversion rates by up to 11 times, and reduce product return rates by up to 50%. The benefits of this research include digital dimensions through E-Commerce technology innovation, social dimensions by increasing consumer trust and reducing product fraud, and environmental dimensions through the potential reduction of product returns. This conceptual prototype provides a foundation for digital innovation, social trust building, and environmental sustainability through reduced product returns.

The development of digital technology has transformed information consumption patterns, including within the realm of spiritual belief. Generation Z, as the generation born and raised in a digital world the digital ecosystem, exhibits new tendencies in understanding and internalizing noble values through various digital platforms. This study aims to analyze the consumption patterns of virtual content among Generation Z from the perspective of adherents of indigenous beliefs in the One Supreme God (Penghayat Kepercayaan terhadap Tuhan Yang Maha Esa), and to examine its implications for modern forms of spirituality. The method used in this study is a literature review with a descriptive qualitative approach, focusing on theoretical studies concerning digital religiosity, media literacy, and spiritual individualization. The results of the study show that digital media, especially platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and Podcasts, have become an alternative space for Generation Z to explore and express spiritual values independently, interactively, and contextually. This phenomenon also presents challenges in the form of the spread of unverified information and the potential to distort facts regarding the authenticity of the teachings of the belief. Therefore, spiritual digital literacy is needed to guide Generation Z to remain critical, rational, and selective in consuming religious content in the digital space.

This study examines the implementation of Indonesia’s Visa on Arrival (VoA) policy in DKI Jakarta as both an instrument of tourism-driven economic recovery and a component of non-military national defense management under Law No. 23 of 2019 on the Management of National Resources for National Defense. While VoA has significantly contributed to the rebound of international tourist arrivals—surpassing 11 million visits nationally in 2023—it simultaneously generates governance challenges at strategic entry points such as Soekarno–Hatta International Airport, where facilitation of mobility intersects with risks including overstaying, transnational crime, human trafficking, and potential infiltration by non-state actors. Existing scholarship largely emphasizes economic impacts and regulatory frameworks, leaving limited analysis of VoA as part of an integrated civil defense infrastructure. Addressing this gap, the study aims to analyze how VoA implementation in DKI Jakarta is managed within a non-military defense perspective, particularly regarding institutional coordination, immigration intelligence, and risk mitigation mechanisms. Employing a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with immigration officials and security stakeholders, document analysis of relevant laws and ministerial regulations, and review of official immigration statistics, followed by thematic analysis. The findings indicate that although VoA effectively supports economic and diplomatic objectives, its function as a non-military defense instrument remains constrained by fragmented inter-agency coordination, uneven intelligence integration, and limited adaptive governance capacity at the local level. Strengthening collaborative surveillance systems, data-sharing mechanisms, and strategic policy alignment between immigration authorities and national defense institutions is therefore essential. The study concludes that reframing immigration governance as part of Indonesia’s broader non-military defense strategy is crucial to balancing openness with security in high-density international gateways.

This reseacrch aims to reveal the metaphusical meaning within the Penti ceremony as a form of thanksgiving to God (Mori Kraeng) in the Kuleng Waga Tribe community, Mano Village, Easr Manggarai. The Penti ceremony is a hereditary customary rite that marks the end of the harvest season and server as a religious momentum to renew the relationship between humans, nature, ancestors, and God. From a metaphysical perspective, Penti reflects the awareness of the existential interconnectedness between creatures and the Creator, as developed in the philosophy of Aristotle and Thomas Aquinas concerning actus assendi and participatio entis. Through a qualitative approach and cultur hermeneutics, this study interprets the symbols and ritual actions of Penti as a concrete expression of the ontological relationship between sreation and the Transcendent. The result of the study show that Penti contains three main metaphysical dimensions: first, the ontological dimension regarding human awareness of existence and dependence on God; Second, the perticipatory dimension concerning the role of ancestors as a spiritual bridge between humans and God; Third, the eschatological dimension regarding the hope for the ultimate perfection of life in God. Thus, Penti not only holds cultural value but also carries profound theological and metaphysical meaning.

Drug abuse in Indonesia has reached an alarming level and has become a complex legal and health problem. This study aims to examine the criminal law policy applied to drug abusers from a health perspective, with a focus on the rehabilitative approach as an alternative to punishment. The method used is normative legal research with a statute approach and a conceptual approach, through a literature study of laws and regulations, court decisions, and relevant scientific literature. The results of the study indicate that Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics contains a dualistic approach, namely punishment (penal) and rehabilitation (non-penal), but its implementation still tends towards imprisonment. From a health perspective, drug abuse is an addictive disorder that requires a medical and psychosocial approach, not solely a criminal repressive approach. An ideal criminal law policy should combine proportional criminal sanctions with a comprehensive medical and social rehabilitation program. This study recommends policy reforms that are more oriented towards the health recovery of drug abusers without neglecting the aspect of law enforcement against drug dealers and traffickers.

Politeness in language use is a crucial aspect that has become an integral part of Indonesian culture. Politeness norms almost always serve as a reference in every speech act. Since politeness is culturally embedded, what is considered polite in one society may not be perceived the same in another. The YouTube channel Gromore Studio Series presents Central Javanese folktales with dialogic narration rich in linguistic expressions; however, it has not been widely analyzed from the perspective of language politeness. This study aims to analyze language politeness in six folktale videos on the channel using a descriptive qualitative method with content analysis techniques. The data were analyzed based on Leech’s (1983) six maxims of politeness. The results show that most dialogues adhere to the principles of politeness, with 106 data conforming and 38 violating them. The most frequently observed maxim is the Agreement Maxim (28 instances), followed by the Approbation Maxim (26 instances), while the least frequent is the Obligation of O to S Maxim (8 instances). The application of language politeness in these folktales emphasizes harmony, respect, and solidarity among characters, while violations occur less frequently. This study provides valuable insights for research in pragmatic linguistics, the development of culturally based educational content, and the understanding of language politeness in digital media contexts.

This study aims to describe the forms and types of presuppositions found in two short stories published on the website ruangsastra.com, namely “Minum Teh Sebelum Mati” (“Drinking Tea Before Dying”) and “Pendongeng Keliling dan Tangisan Peluru” (“The Traveling Storyteller and the Cry of Bullets”). This research employs a descriptive qualitative method with an objective and pragmatic approach. Data were collected using the observation and note-taking method, then analyzed using distributional and referential analysis techniques. The results of the study show that a total of 32 presuppositions were identified and classified into six types, theory: existential, factive, structural, non-factive, lexical, and counterfactual presuppositions. Among these types, existential presuppositions were the most frequently found in the texts, while counterfactual presuppositions were the least common. These findings indicate that the use of presuppositions in short stories serves not only as a linguistic feature but also as an essential tool in constructing meaning and understanding narrative context. This research is expected to make a significant contribution to the development of pragmatic studies, particularly in the analysis of modern literary works, as well as to open new perspectives in understanding the interaction between language, meaning, and context in literary texts. The implications of this study may also serve as a foundation for further research on other pragmatic aspects in broader and more diverse literary works.

Pragmatics not only highlights language structure, but also the speaker's purpose and intention in a communication event. This study on representative and directive speech acts in the “Belajar Jadi MC” playlist on Maya Rachma's YouTube channel is important because social media, especially YouTube, has developed into an influential public space that shapes people's perspectives. This scientific article uses a theoretical approach in the form of a pragmatic approach and a methodological approach, namely a qualitative descriptive approach.  The techniques used by the researcher were the Simak Bebas Libat Cakap (SBLC) technique and the note-taking technique. These two techniques were used because the author did not interact directly but only listened and took notes from existing data. The results of the study found 8 types of representative speech acts and 4 types of directive speech acts. There were 65 representative speech acts, including 9 informative speech acts, 12 suggestive speech acts, 13 mentioning speech acts, 9 stating speech acts, 6 exemplifying speech acts, 9 explaining speech acts, 4 showing speech acts, and 3 speculating speech acts. Meanwhile, there were 33 instances of directive speech acts, including 9 requests, 7 invitations, 8 commands, and 9 orders. The author hopes that this research can be used as a reference for further studies on representative and directive speech acts and increase knowledge and insight in the field of pragmatics, especially in the study of representative and directive speech acts.
