This paper describes the dynamics of legal politics in the regulation of Simultaneous Regional Elections in Indonesia with a focus on the effectiveness of implementation and its impact on local democracy. Simultaneous Regional Elections, which began in 2015, are the government's efforts to improve the efficiency of regional head elections while strengthening the democratic system. However, its implementation faces various challenges, such as regulatory complexity, potential political conflict, and impacts on the quality of representation at the local level. This study uses a juridical-normative approach with a qualitative analysis method to evaluate the laws and regulations governing Simultaneous Regional Elections, including Law Number 10 of 2016 and its implementing policies. Data were obtained through literature studies, legal documents, and interviews with relevant stakeholders. The results of the study show that, although Simultaneous Regional Elections bring benefits in the form of budget efficiency and strengthening political stability, this policy also poses a number of challenges. Among them are the gap in local government capacity, strengthening political oligarchy, and decreasing the quality of community participation at the local level. In addition, the implementation of Simultaneous Regional Elections tends to sacrifice regional autonomy in the context of local democracy, given the homogenization of election times that do not always match regional needs. This study recommends the need for a revision of regulations that are more adaptive to local needs, increasing public political education, and strengthening the capacity of election organizers to ensure that Simultaneous Regional Elections can run effectively without sacrificing the principles of local democracy.

Employees are one of the company's assets, their position is very important in order to advance the company, so companies need to pay attention to their employees. On the other hand, employee performance itself will be determined by employee job satisfaction with the company, so paying attention to employee job satisfaction becomes important in order to improve company performance. Among the many factors that influence employee job satisfaction, inflation is one factor that has a fairly strong influence on job satisfaction. In Indonesia, cases of industrial disruption tend to remain high, one of which is caused by problems with the settlement system implemented by companies which are not in line with expectations. This situation shows that the settlement system for related components, the principles and objectives of providing compensation have not been properly understood. Compensation as a system consisting of salaries, incentives and allowances received by employees, each component according to its characteristics has principles that need to be followed. Meanwhile, the objectives of providing compensation include getting quality employees, retaining existing employees, ensuring equality, providing an imbalance that meets expected behavior, controlling costs and complying with applicable laws and regulations.

The application of Islamic principles in conflict management in educational institutions is very important to create a harmonious and productive environment. Conflicts that arise in educational institutions can be caused by various factors, both between students, teachers and between management. In Islam, there are several principles that can be applied to manage conflict in a fair and wise manner, including tabayun, deliberation, tahkim, and islah. Tabayun focuses on clarifying information so that conflict does not develop due to misunderstandings. Deliberation encourages collective decision making to reach solutions that benefit all parties. Tahkim involves a neutral third party to help resolve the conflict, ensuring justice for all parties involved. Meanwhile, islah emphasizes peace and reconciliation, with the aim of ending conflicts peacefully and restoring damaged relations. The application of these principles can increase understanding and skills in managing conflict, both among students, teachers and administrators of educational institutions. Thus, Islamic-based conflict management not only solves problems, but also creates a more just, peaceful environment and supports optimal student development.

Implementation of sharia accounting principles in company financial management is important in the current context of economic globalization. Literature studies show that these principles not only cover aspects of compliance with sharia law, but also emphasize transparency, fairness and sustainability in business practices. The application of sharia accounting principles aims to ensure that all company financial activities are in accordance with Islamic ethical values, such as the prohibition of usury, speculation and other unethical practices. This not only increases company compliance with religious laws, but can also increase trust from investors and the general public. Some of the main principles applied in sharia accounting include transparency in financial reporting, avoidance of usury, fairness in the distribution of profits and losses, as well as consideration of social and environmental aspects. By applying these principles, companies can create a business environment that is more sustainable and oriented towards the values of justice. Literature studies also show that challenges in implementing sharia accounting include the lack of clear international standards, as well as complexity in the interpretation of principles that vary between countries. However, the long-term benefits of implementing these principles are expected to provide significant added value both in terms of finances and company reputation.

One critical component in the rapidly expanding halal tourism industry is the existence of hotels catering to the needs of Muslim travelers, known as Sharia-compliant hotels. Operating within the framework of Islamic law, these hotels bear the responsibility of managing funds in accordance with Sharia principles. The management of non-halal funds within such establishments presents a complex challenge that necessitates careful consideration to ensure compliance with Islamic values while addressing financial and social aspects. This study aims to provide insights into strategies for managing non-halal funds in Sharia-compliant hotels within the framework of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and from the perspective of Islamic economic law. Using a qualitative research approach with descriptive analysis through a literature review, the findings indicate that the legal status of non-halal funds may be permissible if allocated for general public welfare. Recommended management strategies include adherence to the PSAK 101 accounting standard and the application of Tafriq Shafqah principles through CSR initiatives. Non-halal funds are optimally distributed for social welfare (maslahah wa tashrif al-‘ammah) such as empowering local communities through education and training, supporting zakat and charity programs, promoting sustainable environmental management, ensuring fair employment opportunities, fostering local economic development, and enhancing public education and awareness. These efforts not only enhance the positive reputation of Sharia-compliant hotels but also contribute significantly to the economic, environmental, and social well-being of the broader community.

Law enforcement against perpetrators of sexual intercourse committed by children is a complex issue that requires a balance between aspects of justice, protection, and rehabilitation. Children as perpetrators of criminal acts are in a unique position because of their status as legally and psychologically immature individuals. This study aims to analyze the law enforcement process against children involved in sexual intercourse, including the application of sanctions that are in line with the principles of restorative justice and the protection of children's rights. The research method used is normative juridical with a legal approach and case studies. The results of the study show that the juvenile criminal justice system in Indonesia refers to Law Number 11 of 2012 concerning the Juvenile Criminal Justice System, which emphasizes a diversion approach and non-criminal efforts in resolving children's cases. However, there are obstacles in implementation due to limited resources, understanding of law enforcement, and social stigma attached to child perpetrators. This study recommends increasing training for law enforcement, strengthening psychological assistance mechanisms, and developing comprehensive rehabilitation programs. Thus, law enforcement against children who commit sexual intercourse crimes must consider the balance between strict law enforcement and the protection of children's rights, so that the goals of social reintegration and rehabilitation can be achieved optimally.

The transfer of land ownership certificates is an important legal process in Indonesia's land system, regulated by various laws and regulations, such as the Basic Agrarian Law and its implementing regulations. The procedure for transferring ownership certificates begins with a legitimate sale and purchase transaction, followed by registration with the National Land Agency (BPN). However, in practice, obstacles often arise, one of which is when the seller's whereabouts are unknown, which can hinder the process of transferring land rights. In this situation, the buyer can take various legal actions, including filing a civil lawsuit in the District Court to obtain a court ruling confirming the legal transfer of rights, or submitting a request for a decree to the Administrative Court (PTUN) if BPN rejects the application for the transfer of land rights. The perspective of the PTUN legal procedure explains that the buyer can challenge the BPN decision if it is deemed contrary to the law or the principles of good governance (AUPB), with sufficient evidence to support their claim. In this case, PTUN plays a role in providing justice and legal certainty for the aggrieved party. Therefore, even when the seller’s whereabouts are unknown, through the appropriate procedures and legitimate legal actions, the buyer can still acquire ownership rights over the land purchased.
