This study presents a modal analysis of Pertamina EP Cepu’s closed drain pump 510-P9002, which operates in the condensate–water treatment unit of the Jambaran Tiung Biru field. Field vibration measurements conducted in August 2024 indicated a fundamental frequency of 25 Hz, corresponding to 1×RPM of the driving motor, with maximum amplitudes reaching 13.46 mm/s. Such excessive vibration poses risks of mechanical damage, reduced equipment service life, and potential operational failure. To address this issue, finite element analysis (FEA) was employed to examine the dynamic response of the pump, determine its natural frequencies, and identify possible resonance conditions. A CAD model of the pump–vessel assembly was developed, meshed, and analyzed under actual boundary conditions. The results showed several natural frequencies ranging between 23.16 and 26.65 Hz, which are close to the excitation frequency, suggesting a very high likelihood of resonance. Various structural modifications were then evaluated, including a half casing and two types of full casings. Among these, the full casing B design provided additional stiffness in the motor support area; however, none of the modifications effectively reduced vibration within the internal components. Based on these findings, the study recommends the implementation of a dynamic vibration absorber (DVA) tuned to the excitation frequency, along with the redesign of structural components to shift natural frequencies away from operating excitation. These solutions are expected to improve operational stability, extend equipment lifespan, and enhance overall system reliability. The outcomes of this research provide important insights for managing vibration issues in pump systems operating under similar conditions, particularly in the oil and gas industry where continuous, stable operation is critical.

Distribution is an important aspect that affects the operational efficiency of a company, especially in terms of goods delivery. This study aims to develop an optimization model for LPG gas distribution routes using Excel Solver based on geographic coordinate conversion. In this study, the method used includes converting geographic coordinates from decimal to Degree-Minute-Second (DMS) format, followed by conversion to kilometers to form a more accurate distance matrix. The optimization model was built using the Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem (CVRP) approach, which takes into account vehicle capacity constraints (a maximum of 560 cylinders per truck) and the limited number of available fleets, which is only one truck. The results show that coordinate conversion produces high accuracy in calculating distances between distribution locations. By using Excel Solver, the optimization solution successfully minimizes the total distance traveled compared to the conventional route, where distribution is carried out more evenly to 57 scattered LPG base locations. The addition of Solver Parameters Evolutionary and All Different constraints proved effective in avoiding duplication of visits and producing optimal distribution routes. This solution not only improves distribution time and cost efficiency, but also improves service to customers by reducing delivery delays. The success of this optimization model is expected to be implemented by other distribution companies to improve their operational performance. This study also highlights the importance of selecting the right software to aid the distribution optimization process. Excel Solver, despite its simplicity, proved highly effective in solving complex distribution routing problems, especially when combined with coordinate conversion techniques that yield more accurate distances. Furthermore, the application of the CVRP method enabled more efficient decision-making in determining distribution routes, taking into account vehicle capacity and fleet limitations.

This research was conducted with the aim of optimizing the assignment of working hours in the Procurement Division of PT. Pelindo Multi Terminal through the application of the Hungarian method. The fundamental problem faced is the imbalance between the number of permanent workers and the high workload that must be completed, thus creating a risk of inefficiency in the operational process. To address this problem, a quantitative approach was used with linear programming modeling techniques designed to produce a more systematic and measurable assignment allocation. Through the analysis conducted, an optimal solution was obtained regarding the distribution of working hours, where the total working time can be reduced to 10,120 minutes per month, lower than the previously set maximum limit of 10,560 minutes per month. These results indicate that the application of the Hungarian method is not only able to reduce excessive workloads on some employees, but also ensures a more proportional distribution of assignments among all available workers. In addition, this method can increase operational effectiveness because each worker receives a load according to their capacity, so that the risk of fatigue or decreased performance can be minimized. The findings of this study confirm that the Hungarian method is an alternative work scheduling strategy that is efficient to be applied in industrial environments with high task complexity. Proper implementation can also support the achievement of overall company productivity, improve the quality of human resource management, and strengthen the company's competitiveness in facing future operational challenges.

Corruption is an extraordinary crime that not only causes massive state financial losses but also impedes national development. Efforts to eradicate corruption are insufficient if limited to the imprisonment of perpetrators; they must be accompanied by state asset recovery. The prosecutor, as the dominus litis in the criminal justice sistem, plays a central role in the process of seizing assets derived from corruption. This research aims to analyze the authority of prosecutors to seize assets in corruption cases, identify the obstacles encountered, and formulate solutions to optimize the exercise of this authority. The research method employed is normative juridical, utilizing a statutory approach and a case approach. The findings indicate that prosecutors have a strong legal basis for asset seizure, as stipulated in the Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP), the Anti-Corruption Law, and other relevant regulations. However, in practice, prosecutors face various obstacles, both juridical, such as legal loopholes in the evidentiary process, and non-juridical, such as the complex modus operandi of perpetrators in concealing assets, slow inter-agency coordination, and challenges in tracing assets located abroad. Therefore, it is imperative to strengthen the regulatory framework through the enactment of the Asset Forfeiture Bill, enhance the capacity and integrity of prosecutors, and bolster international cooperation to maximize the recovery of state losses.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are an essential pillar of the Indonesian economy, contributing significantly to employment creation, poverty reduction, and income distribution. However, despite their substantial role, MSMEs continue to face a number of persistent challenges, including limited access to capital, low levels of financial literacy, and inadequate utilization of technology. These barriers hinder their ability to grow, compete, and adapt to rapid economic changes. This study aims to explore and analyze the role of Islamic Financial Institutions (IFIs) in empowering MSMEs within the framework of Sharia principles. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, this research is based on a comprehensive literature review of scholarly articles, official reports, and other relevant academic sources. The findings reveal that IFIs provide both financial and social contributions to MSMEs. Financially, IFIs channel funds through Sharia-compliant contracts such as mudharabah and murabahah, which allow entrepreneurs to access financing without relying on conventional interest-based systems. Socially, IFIs carry out a redistributive role by managing and disbursing zakat, infaq, sadaqah, and waqf (ZISWAF), while also offering entrepreneurship training, mentoring, and technical assistance. These functions collectively enhance MSMEs’ access to capital, strengthen their managerial and operational capacities, and increase competitiveness in both domestic and global markets. Nevertheless, several challenges remain, including the uneven geographical distribution of IFI services, slow adoption of digital technology, and the need for more supportive regulatory frameworks. Strengthening IFIs’ role through policy integration, technological innovation, and collaboration with government and private sectors is essential for maximizing their impact on MSME empowerment. Thus, IFIs not only act as financial intermediaries but also as socio-economic catalysts that support sustainable and inclusive economic development in Indonesia.

Reservoir heterogeneity has long been recognized as a critical factor influencing the efficiency of enhanced oil recovery (EOR) methods. Among the techniques applied, cyclic waterflooding is considered one of the promising approaches due to its relatively simple operational design and potential to improve sweep efficiency. This method involves alternating water injection in specific cycles to mobilize trapped oil and redistribute reservoir pressure. However, the variation in geological properties such as porosity, permeability, and fluid saturation creates challenges in achieving uniform displacement, especially in reservoirs with high heterogeneity. Understanding the role of heterogeneity is therefore crucial for optimizing cyclic waterflooding applications. This study applies a literature review approach by synthesizing findings from previous experimental and field studies that evaluated cyclic waterflooding under different reservoir conditions. The analysis compares the performance of cyclic water injection periods across reservoirs characterized by varying levels of heterogeneity. Parameters such as injection rate, water breakthrough time, and oil recovery factor were considered in evaluating the effectiveness of this method. The results highlight that reservoirs with high heterogeneity often experience uneven fluid distribution, leading to early water breakthrough and reduced oil recovery. In contrast, reservoirs with relatively low heterogeneity tend to respond better to cyclic waterflooding, resulting in improved sweep efficiency and higher incremental recovery. Moreover, the optimization of cycle timing and water injection intervals appears to significantly mitigate the negative effects of heterogeneity. In conclusion, the study emphasizes that reservoir heterogeneity plays a decisive role in determining the success of cyclic waterflooding. Tailoring injection strategies based on geological variability is essential to maximize recovery efficiency. Future research should focus on integrating advanced reservoir characterization techniques with adaptive cyclic flooding models to further enhance oil production outcomes.

In manufacturing industries, machining processes play a critical role in ensuring product quality, precision, and production efficiency. However, in the production of swing arm parts, the machining process has been identified as a bottleneck due to its non-optimal cycle time. One of the main issues contributing to this inefficiency is the disorganized handling of circlip inner parts. These components are often scattered without a designated placement system, which creates significant difficulties for operators when retrieving and installing circlips onto the swing arm. Such abnormalities disrupt workflow continuity, extend production time, and reduce overall productivity. To address this challenge, a circlip feeder machine was designed as a supporting device to assist operators and streamline the machining process. The design emphasizes efficiency, integration, and systematic operation by utilizing readily available workshop materials. The developed feeder machine is equipped with a robust frame construction and has a storage dimension capable of accommodating up to 200 circlips. In addition, mechanical analysis demonstrates that the feeder structure can withstand a maximum applied force of 31,475 N, ensuring durability and reliability during operation. The introduction of this circlip feeder machine directly impacts the production process by reducing operator workload, minimizing delays caused by disorganized parts, and ensuring faster and more accurate installation of circlips. Consequently, the overall machining cycle time is shortened, thereby improving production flow and enhancing the efficiency of swing arm part manufacturing. Beyond immediate time savings, the use of the feeder machine contributes to better resource utilization, reduced ergonomic strain on operators, and improved consistency in product quality. This study highlights the significance of simple yet effective mechanical innovations in overcoming production bottlenecks and optimizing manufacturing processes in automotive component industries.

The development of automotive technology drives innovation in vehicle support components, including the continuously variable transmission (CVT) system, which plays a crucial role in transmitting engine torque and power to the wheels. One of the main elements in this system is the clutch lining and clutch housing, whose performance significantly impacts motorcycle performance. However, the standard pattern on these components is often not optimal in maximizing power delivery. Therefore, this study was conducted to analyze the effect of modifying the grooves of the clutch lining and clutch housing on engine torque in a 110 cc motorcycle. The research method used an experimental approach by varying the modification pattern on the clutch lining and clutch housing. The test motorcycle with a capacity of 110 cc was tested using a dyno test to measure torque and power at various engine speeds. Each modification variation was then compared with standard conditions to evaluate the resulting performance differences. The results showed that the pattern modifications on the clutch lining and clutch housing significantly increased torque. Several modification variations were able to significantly increase torque at medium to high speeds, thus providing better engine response and more efficient power delivery. Thus, this research contributes to the development of more optimal CVT component designs and has the potential to improve motorcycle performance, especially in the small capacity vehicle segment.

The widespread use of digital images, driven by low-cost, handheld acquisition devices, has increased the need for robust security measures to safeguard privacy. This demand is further underscored by rising identity theft and other image-related crimes. This study presents a chaos-based experimental evaluation of contemporary image encryption algorithms. Owing to intrinsic properties such as sensitivity to initial conditions and pseudo-randomness, chaos theory has become increasingly prominent in image encryption. Five chaos-based image encryption schemes were selected and applied to a dataset of 26 color images. The evaluation covers both encryption performance and cryptographic security. Decryption quality is measured using Mean Squared Error (MSE), Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR), Structural Similarity Index (SSIM), and DeepEns. Cryptographic security is assessed using entropy, correlation coefficient, Number of Pixel Change Rate (NPCR), Unified Average Changing Intensity (UACI), average and maximum deviation, and histogram analysis. Experimental results indicate that all evaluated schemes demonstrate strong cryptographic security and comparable encryption performance, with broadly similar effectiveness across methods.

This study aims to analyze the effect of variations in the Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) spring constant and the type of fuel on the performance of a 110 CC gasoline motorcycle engine. The CVT system is one of the important components in an automatic motorcycle that functions to transmit power from the engine to the rear wheels efficiently. CVT performance is greatly influenced by the spring constant used, because this component is directly related to the automatic gear ratio shifting process. On the other hand, the type of fuel also has an important role because it is related to the quality of combustion and the efficiency of energy produced by the engine. The test results show that the use of a CVT spring with a constant of 18.05 N/cm combined with Pertamax fuel is able to provide the best engine performance. In this configuration, the engine reaches a maximum power of 7.84 HP at 8200 rpm and a maximum torque of 9.30 Nm at 6200 rpm. This combination is proven to be the most optimal in increasing power and torque, thus providing more responsive acceleration. Furthermore, the use of a CVT spring with a constant of 25.20 N/cm combined with Pertamax also shows quite good performance, namely with a maximum power of 7.38 HP and a maximum torque of 8.56 Nm. Although the results are not as high as the first configuration, this combination is still quite effective in improving engine performance. Meanwhile, when using a spring with a higher constant of 33.69 N/cm, the resulting power tends to decrease to 7.02 HP with a torque of 8.02 Nm. In addition, the initial acceleration in this configuration is less responsive so it is not recommended for optimal performance.
