The problem of poverty is still a homework that has not been resolved by the government. Various efforts have been made, one of which is through the Family Hope Program (PKH), which is a conditional cash assistance for beneficiaries. It is said to be conditional because recipients must access education and health services using the grant funds received. However, based on information obtained from the companion, it is known that the recipients did not fully use the aid money according to its designation. This happens for various reasons, one of which is minimal income so they have to look for other sources to meet their daily needs. Therefore, this dedication is intended to provide an understanding of how to manage family finances so that whatever income is earned can be sufficient to meet life's needs, not a lifestyle. This dedication method is carried out with lectures, discussions and brainstorming with participants. The result of this service is that participants gain additional knowledge about budget planning, budget control, and distinguishing between needs and wants.

Entrepreneurship training is a key strategy for empowering village economies, especially among youth from Karang Taruna and PKK members. In Kaladawa Village, local potential such as agriculture and handicrafts has not been fully utilized due to limited entrepreneurial knowledge and exposure. This program aims to enhance participants' entrepreneurial competencies through practical-based training methods, including interactive lectures, group discussions, and business simulations. A participatory approach was implemented to help participants identify local potentials, develop business ideas, and formulate digital-based marketing strategies. The results of the training indicate a significant improvement in participants’ understanding of entrepreneurship, as reflected in the emergence of innovative business plans focused on local and digital products. Pre- and post-training evaluations showed increased motivation, creativity, and readiness among participants to initiate independent ventures. The training also fostered a sustainable entrepreneurial spirit by covering essential topics such as financial management, digital transformation, and business networking. Participants acknowledged that direct experiences and intensive mentoring during the sessions played a crucial role in building their confidence and competitiveness. However, for long-term success, continuous mentoring and institutional support are required, along with strategic collaboration between stakeholders such as village governments, local MSMEs, and higher education institutions. Thus, this program not only contributes to improving technical and entrepreneurial skills but also plays a pivotal role in developing a self-reliant and sustainable rural entrepreneurial ecosystem. The integration of similar training into broader community empowerment programs is recommended to ensure lasting impact, inclusive access, resilience, innovation, adaptability, creativity, empowerment, collaboration, leadership, and meaningful local economic development.

Sanankerto Village still relies on manual administration, which affects the efficiency of data management and public services. This community service program aims to optimize the village administrative information system through training in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace for 20 village officials. The methods used include lectures, demonstrations, hands-on practice, and one-month mentoring. Evaluation results show a significant increase in skills—the average pre-test score of 50% rose to 85% in the post-test. Participants are now able to prepare financial reports, use spreadsheets for archiving, and utilize Google Docs and Google Drive for collaborative village data management. These findings align with similar community programs in Kedondong District, where Excel has been used for systematic administrative archiving. Moreover, the use of Google Spreadsheet has proven to enhance organizational efficiency in the Karang Taruna youth organization. This program demonstrates that strengthening village officials' capacity in information technology can support more professional and accountable village governance.

The Community Service and Practical Fieldwork Program (KPPM) serves as a tangible form of social responsibility by encouraging students to engage in meaningful activities that positively impact society. In the 2025/2026 academic year, IAKN Tarutung conducted this program involving undergraduate students, including those enrolled in the Christian Religious Education (PAK) and Church Music Education (PMG) departments. One of the designated locations for this program was Hutauruk Village in Tarutung District, North Tapanuli Regency. This study centers on the implementation of the KPPM program in Hutauruk Village, which ran from March to June 2025 and engaged students from IAKN Tarutung. The primary objectives of this research are to explore the spiritual challenges faced by the community, to present solutions developed during the program, to assess the overall impact of KPPM on the local residents, and to examine how participation in the program contributes to the students’ personal and professional development. The purpose of this activity is to increase adolescent knowledge and skills to overcome anxiety with five-finger hypnosis. The socialization method in the form of lectures and questions and answers is used in this activity with leaflets and flip charts. The results of the respondents' activities were very enthusiastic about the material presented and there were several respondents who asked questions. The nursing education process was implemented through clinical practice in hospitals. However, the heavy workload of nurses and clinical instructors often hindered the optimal provision of guidance to students. Therefore, efforts were necessary to enhance the competencies of nursing educators and clinical instructors. The development of these competencies required support from both formal and non-formal education. One form of non-formal education was the implementation of preceptorship and mentorship training programs. These programs were expected to strengthen the quality of student guidance in clinical settings. The methods employed included lectures, role-playing, and hands-on application in inpatient care units. The training outcomes indicated a significant improvement in the clinical instructors’ ability to effectively carry out preceptorship and mentorship roles.

This research explores the influential role of Islamic preaching, known as dakwah, in nurturing and reinforcing nationalistic values among young Muslims. It emphasizes the significance of integrating religious teachings with messages of patriotism to shape the mindset and attitudes of the youth towards their nation. Rather than viewing dakwah solely as a tool for religious propagation, this study positions it as a strategic and educational instrument that can instill a deep sense of national identity, unity, and active participation in national development.Employing a qualitative research methodology with a descriptive approach, this study analyzes various contemporary forms of dakwah, including religious lectures, Islamic study circles, digital platforms such as social media, and involvement in Islamic youth organizations. These channels are assessed for their effectiveness in conveying messages that resonate with the daily lives and societal roles of Muslim youth. The findings indicate that when Islamic values are harmoniously combined with national ideals, dakwah becomes a powerful vehicle for character building. It fosters a generation of young Muslims who are not only spiritually grounded but also exhibit strong civic awareness and a sense of responsibility towards preserving national unity and diversity. Ultimately, this research highlights the dual function of dakwah as both a spiritual guide and a catalyst for patriotic consciousness in the younger Muslim population.

MSME actors in Indonesia still face various obstacles in business management, especially in the aspects of marketing and financial bookkeeping. This condition has a direct impact on the low level of bankability of MSMEs to access financing from banking institutions, especially Islamic banks. This activity aims to provide assistance to MSME actors, especially Toko Cipta Swara Elektronik, to be able to prepare basic financial statements and implement simple digital marketing strategies. The method used in this activity is the ABCD (Audience, Behavior, Condition, Degree) approach, with the implementation in the form of lectures, discussions, hands-on practice, and simulations. The results of the activity show that partners are able to prepare two types of basic financial statements (cash flow and profit and loss), design digital marketing strategies through social media, and understand the requirements for applying for Islamic bank financing. This assistance has proven to be effective in increasing the capacity of partners administratively and strategically, as well as opening up greater opportunities to access sharia financing services.
