Stunting remains a significant health problem in rural areas, particularly due to the lack of father involvement in child care. The “Bapakku Hebat” program initiated by the Omben Health Center emerged as a breakthrough to strengthen the role of fathers in stunting prevention efforts through family health posts. This study adopted a qualitative descriptive approach to investigate the implementation, effects, and barriers of the program. The research findings indicated an increase in father involvement in health post activities, nutrition counseling, and child health monitoring. The program successfully reduced the prevalence of stunting risk by 10% in a year by increasing health post coverage and changing family behavior in providing nutrition. Key driving factors included inter-sectoral collaboration with village governments, health cadres, and farming communities that strengthened social networks and local resources. However, challenges remain, such as budget constraints, a lack of male cadres, and the influence of cultural norms that consider childcare as a woman’s responsibility. The “Bapakku Hebat” program shows that active father involvement can increase family awareness of the importance of fulfilling children’s nutrition. These findings emphasize the importance of gender-sensitive family health policies and cross-sectoral support to ensure the sustainability of the program. This research is expected to be a reference for other regions in implementing similar innovations to reduce the prevalence of stunting and improve the quality of child care. Furthermore, the success of the "My Great Father" program also demonstrates the importance of a community-based approach in public health interventions. The direct involvement of community leaders, religious leaders, and farmer groups in the program's outreach and implementation has proven effective in building a sense of ownership and increasing active community participation, particularly among fathers.

Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) poses a major global health threat, with severe impacts in developing countries due to weak health systems, poor regulation, and low sanitation standards. This review summarizes 12 studies from Asia and Africa on AMR’s clinical, social, economic, and environmental effects. AMR leads to first-line treatment failure, prolonged hospital stays, increased morbidity and mortality, and necessitates costly, toxic last-line antibiotics. Economic consequences include higher treatment costs, productivity loss, and poverty risk from high medical expenses. Environmental contributors such as contamination from medical waste, livestock, and the food industry accelerate resistant bacteria spread. Effective control requires integrated strategies, including Antimicrobial Stewardship Programs (ASP) based on AWaRe classification, laboratory strengthening, One Health approaches, public education, strict antibiotic distribution regulations, and cross-sector monitoring. These measures aim to curb AMR progression and reduce health burdens in developing nations. The rise of AMR further complicates healthcare delivery in countries already struggling with limited resources and underfunded healthcare systems. The growing prevalence of multidrug-resistant (MDR) and extensively drug-resistant (XDR) organisms threatens the effectiveness of current medical treatments, including those for common infections such as tuberculosis and pneumonia. Infections that were once easily treatable with antibiotics are now leading to longer and more complicated hospitalizations, greater healthcare costs, and higher death rates. Additionally, the lack of access to newer, more effective antibiotics and diagnostic tools makes managing resistant infections in these regions even more challenging. Environmental factors, particularly contamination from healthcare facilities and agricultural practices, play a key role in the proliferation of resistant pathogens.

Community diagnosis is a strategic step that aims to identify fundamental problems in the community, determine problem priorities, and formulate appropriate solutions to overcome them. One of the identified health issues is a significant increase in cases of mumps (epidemic parotitis), an acute infectious disease caused by the mumps virus, a member of the Rubulavirus genus. This increase in cases was recorded in the Puskesmas work area from the beginning of the year to November 2024. This phenomenon raises concerns regarding the potential for widespread health problems at the community level. Therefore, this intervention activity was carried out with the hope of reducing the incidence of mumps in the Puskesmas work area. The methodology applied in this activity includes data collection through mini surveys, analysis of health determinants using the Blum Paradigm, determination of problem priorities through the Delphi method, and identification of root causes using a fishbone diagram. Based on the results of this analysis, the interventions implemented include counseling on mumps and preventive measures, as well as demonstrations of proper hand washing. The results of the intervention showed a significant increase in knowledge, where all participants (n=40, 100%) obtained a post-test score of ≥ 7, indicating a good understanding of the material presented. In the demonstration session, a number of participants were also able to demonstrate the steps for washing hands according to the correct procedure. From the results of the analysis, it was found that the increase in mumps cases in this area was closely related to community lifestyle factors. Therefore, this intervention is expected to not only increase community knowledge about mumps, but also encourage the implementation of clean and healthy living behaviors, especially in the practice of washing hands, as a preventive measure to reduce the number of transmissions and accelerate case handling.

Drug abuse among adolescents is a serious problem that requires comprehensive and sustainable prevention efforts. Adolescence is a developmental phase characterized by the search for identity, emotional instability, and high levels of influence from the social environment, including peers. In this context, family education plays a central role as the first line of defense in protecting adolescents from the negative influence of drugs. Through open communication, wise supervision, and consistent love and emotional support, parents can create a safe and supportive environment for their children's mental development. Effective family education includes strengthening moral, religious, and social values, aiming to shape adolescents' character and resilience to environmental pressures. In certain situations, family education also needs to be supported by a scientific approach, one of which is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). CBT is a psychological approach that focuses on improving negative thought patterns and behaviors. In the context of discussing drugs, CBT can help adolescents identify the emotional and social triggers that lead them to try illicit substances and equip them with strategies to cope healthily. The integration of family education and CBT therapy creates a comprehensive approach—from the home to professional support—to strengthen adolescents' mental resilience. This collaboration not only reduces the risk of addiction but also encourages adolescents to become more self-aware, emotionally healthy, and productive individuals. Therefore, synergy between families, schools, and mental health professionals is crucial in creating a drug-free generation of young people ready to face the challenges of modern life. Therefore, the active involvement of all parties, including educational institutions and the community, is essential to creating an environment that supports early drug prevention.

Drug abuse among adolescents is a serious problem that requires a comprehensive prevention strategy. One key element in this effort is family education, which plays a frontline role in protecting adolescents from the negative influence of drugs. Through consistent education, supervision, and emotional support, families can build a foundation for positive behavior and mental resilience in adolescents. Effective family education includes open communication between parents and children, teaching moral and religious values, and creating a safe, harmonious, and warm home environment. Healthy communication allows adolescents to feel comfortable discussing problems or pressures they face, thereby minimizing the risk of falling into drug abuse. In addition to the role of the family, psychological approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) have proven effective in strengthening adolescents' resilience to social pressures and the temptation of drugs. CBT focuses on helping individuals recognize and change negative thought patterns and risky behaviors that trigger abuse. With CBT techniques, adolescents can learn stress management skills, improve decision-making skills, and develop healthier, adaptive behaviors. The integration of family education and CBT therapy results in a more holistic prevention approach. Families provide a foundation of morals, values, and emotional support, while CBT strengthens adolescents' psychological abilities to face life's challenges. This synergy can increase resilience, reduce vulnerability to negative influences, and equip adolescents with effective strategies for resisting drugs. By optimizing the role of the family and combining it with psychological interventions, it is hoped that a healthy, productive young generation will emerge, free from the threat of drugs, enabling them to contribute positively to society and the future of the nation.

This study aims to utilize data mining techniques, specifically the K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) algorithm, to classify leaf diseases in sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum). Early and accurate detection of leaf disease types is a crucial step in prevention and control strategies, thereby reducing potential crop losses caused by pathogen attacks. Leaf diseases in sugarcane, such as leaf scald, rust, and mosaic virus, are known to affect photosynthesis, inhibit growth, and reduce the quality and quantity of sugarcane produced. The classification process in this study was carried out through image analysis of infected sugarcane leaves, where features such as color, texture, and shape were extracted using digital image processing techniques. The KNN algorithm was chosen because of its non-parametric nature, ease of implementation, and its ability to provide accurate classification results even with limited data size. The working principle of KNN is to determine the class of a new sample based on the majority class of its k nearest neighbors in the feature space, making it very suitable for the case of leaf disease image classification. In addition to building a classification model, this study also examines disease prevention strategies based on the identification results. These strategies include the use of disease-resistant sugarcane varieties, the implementation of appropriate planting patterns, land moisture management, regular plantation sanitation, and the measured and environmentally friendly use of pesticides or fungicides. Model performance evaluation was conducted using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score metrics to assess model effectiveness across various data scenarios. The results of this study are expected to not only contribute to the development of decision support systems for farmers and related parties but also support the application of artificial intelligence-based technology in the agricultural sector.

The rise in corruption cases in Indonesia significantly hampers investment, impacts national economic growth, and undermines the integrity of public institutions. This study highlights the strategic role of public mobilization as guardians of transparency in preventing potential corruption at the Danantara Investment Management Agency (BPI). Using a normative legal research approach enriched by qualitative analysis of the regulatory framework and best practices, this study examines the legal basis supporting public participation and formulates an effective corruption prevention strategy in the digital era. The results show that optimizing the role of the public through information transparency and the use of information and communication technology (ICT) plays a crucial role in building accountability and detecting irregularities. Access to audit data, financial evaluations, and public information is an important instrument in strengthening oversight. The use of ICT allows the public to analyze anomalous patterns, assess institutional performance, and provide constructive feedback on investment management policies. However, this mobilization faces significant challenges. First, the complexity of financial and regulatory data often makes it difficult for the general public to interpret. Second, limited digital literacy hinders the public's ability to utilize oversight technology. Third, the urgent need for certainty of legal protection for whistleblowers or oversight participants is a determining factor in the success of the mobilization. Therefore, strengthening regulations that guarantee legal protection, increasing digital literacy capacity, and developing user-friendly public oversight platforms are necessary. Synergy between the government, investment management institutions, and the public is key to creating a transparent, responsive, and adaptive oversight system to technological developments. This way, the active role of the public can be optimized to strengthen the integrity of BPI Danantara and promote a healthy investment climate in Indonesia.

Stunting remains a chronic nutritional issue and a significant public health challenge in Indonesia, particularly in rural areas such as Jurang Village, Temanggung Regency. One of the key contributing factors to the high prevalence of stunting is the low level of maternal knowledge regarding balanced nutrition and the appropriate practice of providing supplementary feeding (Pemberian Makanan Tambahan or PMT) for children under five. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of PMT menu leaflet media as a tool to increase mothers’ knowledge and awareness regarding stunting prevention. The research was conducted through a series of community-based surveys during Posyandu (integrated health post) activities across several neighborhood units (Rukun Warga or RW). These surveys identified cases of stunting and assessed the educational needs of mothers with young children. Based on the findings, a culturally and contextually adapted leaflet was developed, containing essential information about stunting, its early signs, the importance of PMT, and practical, nutritious recipes made from locally available ingredients. To expand accessibility, the leaflet also included a QR code linked to a digital e-book featuring 54 variations of PMT menus. The educational materials were distributed through door-to-door visits, accompanied by the direct provision of supplementary food, enabling immediate practice of the knowledge shared. Post-intervention results showed a significant improvement in maternal understanding of stunting and nutrition, as well as positive feedback regarding the clarity, relevance, and usefulness of the leaflet. The culturally tailored approach and integration of digital resources further enhanced engagement and knowledge retention. In conclusion, the PMT leaflet proved to be an effective, practical, low-cost, and replicable educational intervention to support community-based stunting prevention efforts in Jurang Village. This approach offers a promising model for similar rural areas facing high stunting rates across Indonesia.
