This study evaluates the effectiveness of the Constitutional Court’s authority in reviewing laws and regulations as a means of upholding constitutional supremacy in Indonesia. Employing both normative and empirical legal research methods, it examines the Constitutional Court’s rulings from 2019 to 2024 and assesses their broader implications for the national constitutional system. The findings reveal several structural weaknesses in the review mechanism, particularly related to the enforcement of decisions and the existence of dualism between the Constitutional Court and the Supreme Court in conducting judicial reviews. These shortcomings have created inconsistencies and reduced the optimal impact of the Constitutional Court’s role. To address these issues, the research recommends comprehensive reforms, including the unification of judicial review authority, enhancement of the Constitutional Court’s executorial powers, and expansion of public access to constitutional review procedures. Such measures are expected to strengthen the Court’s role as the guardian of the constitution, improve legal certainty, and support the creation of a more coherent and harmonious legal system in Indonesia.

This study uses the rhinoceros beetle as the main subject in creating realism painting art because of its unique shape and strong symbolism of courage and resilience. In addition to having aesthetic value, the rhinoceros beetle also plays an important role in the ecosystem as a decomposer of dead wood and contributes to maintaining environmental balance. On the other hand, the existence of the rhinoceros beetle has cultural value in Indonesian society, especially in myths and traditional symbols. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive approach, with the process of creating works involving visual studies and symbolic interpretations. A total of three paintings were created by highlighting the morphological details of the rhinoceros beetle realistically and inserting symbolic meanings in its visual composition. The results of the study indicate that the rhinoceros beetle can be a source of inspiration in fine art and function as an educational medium to increase public awareness of the importance of preserving local fauna, especially insect species that are often overlooked.

Refill Drinking Water Depots (DAMIU) are businesses that provide ready-to-drink drinking water through raw water processing using simple and modern technology. The existence of DAMIU is very important in meeting the community's need for drinking water, but aspects of sanitation hygiene and water quality must remain a primary concern to avoid health risks. This study aims to describe the sanitation hygiene conditions and assess the microbiological quality of refill drinking water at DAMIU in the Indralaya Community Health Center working area in 2025. The study used a descriptive method with a laboratory approach to 27 refill drinking water depots. Data were collected through observations of location conditions, buildings, equipment, and handler hygiene, and laboratory examinations were conducted on raw water and processed water samples. The results showed that the majority of depots (92%) had met the requirements related to location and buildings, while all depots (100%) met the standards for processing equipment. However, drinking water handlers still did not comply with applicable hygiene standards (100%). Only 70% of depots had suitable raw water sources, with 55% using the Sukomoro source, 41% using drilled wells, and 4% using the Dewa Air Prabumulih source. Laboratory tests found that two depots (8%) had raw water that tested positive for Escherichia coli, but all treated water samples met established microbiological standards. Overall, this study concluded that the location, building, and equipment of the Drinking Water Supply Unit (DAMIU) in the Indralaya Community Health Center (Puskesmas) area were satisfactory, but handler hygiene remained a weakness that needed immediate improvement. Furthermore, the physical and chemical quality of the water still required attention, although the microbiological quality met standards.

Bluru Kidul Village is an area located near the northeastern coast of Sidoarjo, where its geographical position provides significant benefits for the community. Consequently, the majority of residents work as fishermen and live side by side with the marine ecosystem. Due to the existence of Bluru Kidul Village, Sidoarjo City is often referred to as a fisheries or coastal city. The fish resources in these waters are dominated by small pelagic fish, large pelagic fish, and demersal fish. One of the most widely used fishing gears is the gill net. This study applied treatments with soaking durations of 2 hours, 3 hours, and 4 hours. The objectives of this research were to identify the composition of gill net catches, analyze the effect of different soaking times on gill net catches, and determine the optimal soaking duration for catching Indian mackerel (Rastrelliger) using gill nets. Data analysis was conducted using statistical methods, including analysis of variance (ANOVA) and normality tests to ensure data suitability. To determine whether soaking duration had a significant effect, a further statistical test, namely the Least Significant Difference (LSD) test, was applied to identify which soaking time produced the best catch of Indian mackerel. The results indicated that there were significant differences in catch variables between the 4-hour treatment and the 3-hour and 2-hour treatments, whereas the difference between the 3-hour and 2-hour treatments was not significant. This finding demonstrates that the 4-hour soaking duration resulted in significantly different catch outcomes compared to the 3-hour and 2-hour durations, but no significant difference was observed between the 3-hour and 2-hour treatments.

The SENABUNG Serang Volunteer Community has various humanitarian programs to help the poor, street children, and other communities in need. This study aims to determine the communication strategy of the SENABUNG Serang Volunteer Community in increasing its presence in the community, as well as to analyze the obstacles faced. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the Resource Mobilization theory. Data were obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data validity techniques use source triangulation to ensure the validity of the research findings. The results show that the existence of the SENABUNG community is built through the mobilization of five types of resources, namely human, material, organizational, socio-cultural, and moral resources. The community has succeeded in mobilizing volunteers, collecting donations, building social networks, and gaining moral legitimacy from the community. However, this study also found internal obstacles such as limited volunteers and time, inadequate equipment, unstable morale and transportation facilities, as well as external obstacles such as dependence on donations and digital security threats. Despite these successes, the study highlights significant challenges. Internally, the community struggles with a limited number of volunteers, which affects the sustainability of its programs. Moreover, the volunteers' time commitment is often restricted, limiting their capacity to engage fully. Additionally, inadequate equipment and unstable morale present further hurdles. Externally, the community's reliance on donations for funding leaves it vulnerable to fluctuations in contributions, and digital security threats pose risks to the integrity of the information shared across platforms.

Accelerating the formation of cooperatives at the village and sub-district levels is a priority for the Indonesian government, as emphasized in Presidential Instruction Number 9 of 2025, which focuses on strengthening economic independence and equitable development across regions. In this context, the existence of a Management Information Sistem (MIS) plays a strategic role in increasing the efficiency and transparency of cooperative management, including through the use of the official digital platform, the Merah Putih website (https://merahputih.kop.id). This study was conducted using a literature review approach, including the selection of relevant academic articles and government policy documents, with the aim of examining the role of MIS in accelerating the formation and management of village cooperatives. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of MIS and the use of the Merah Putih website can significantly contribute to the effectiveness of administration, coordination among members, and accountability of cooperative financial reporting. However, there are still obstacles that require attention, particularly related to technological readiness, human resource skills, and access to digital infrastructure in rural areas. The implications of these findings emphasize the need for the development of a MIS that is adaptive to the needs of village cooperatives and sustainable policy support that encourages digitalization in the cooperative sector. Thus, this research not only provides an overview of the potential use of information technology in accelerating the strengthening of village cooperatives, but also offers an important contribution to the implementation of government policies in realizing inclusive and sustainable economic development in Indonesia.

This study analyzes the public relations efforts of Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) Banten in maintaining its existence in the digital era and identifies the inhibiting factors faced. Using a qualitative method with a case study approach, this research involved in-depth interviews with informants from various divisions at RRI Banten, as well as observations of the communication strategies and programs implemented. The results of the study indicate that RRI Banten has undertaken a significant digital transformation, including through the development of the RRI Digital application as a means to expand broadcast access, active use of social media to reach a wider audience, and the implementation of a broadcast program segmentation strategy to adapt to the needs and preferences of listeners from various groups. However, the study also identified several crucial inhibiting factors. Limited human resources, particularly in mastery of digital technology, remain a major obstacle in optimizing the transformation program. In addition, the uneven geographic coverage of broadcasts in some areas limits public access to RRI services. Increasingly fierce competition with other digital media that offer greater flexibility, speed, and interactivity also poses a major challenge. On the other hand, the lack of optimal digital promotion and difficulties in reaching the interests of the younger generation hamper the increase in RRI's popularity in the era of media digitalization.

This study aims to analyze M. Quraish Shihab's views on spiritual interaction between the deceased and the living in Tafsir al-Mishbah. This issue is highly urgent because the debate surrounding the soul and the afterlife has existed since the time of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and continues to be a polemic to this day. To answer this question, a qualitative research method with a library research approach was used. Primary data came from Tafsir al-Mishbah, where the Quranic verses about the soul were analyzed thematically. Secondary data were obtained from various classical and contemporary tafsir books, hadith books, and books on interpretation methodology to provide a comprehensive understanding. The results show that, according to M. Quraish Shihab, humans are bidimensional beings. Death is not the end of existence, but rather a transition from the mundane realm to the Barzakh realm, where the soul remains alive. Although human knowledge is very limited regarding the unseen realm, interaction between the souls of the living and the deceased is possible, especially through dreams. In conclusion, M. Quraish Shihab argues that souls in the Barzakh realm remain alive and conscious, and can interact with other souls, although in a different way from communication in the physical world.

Mining activities in Mandailing Natal Regency, particularly in Kota Nopan, Huta Bargot, and Batang Natal Districts, play a significant role in the local economy while simultaneously generating complex legal, environmental, and social problems. Despite the existence of comprehensive national regulations such as the Mineral and Coal Mining Law and regional bylaws, enforcement remains weak, as indicated by the persistence of illegal mining (PETI), environmental degradation, and conflicts of interest among various stakeholders. This study aims to analyze the dynamics of mining law enforcement by employing a juridical-empirical approach that combines the review of statutory regulations, secondary data, and field observations in three sample districts. The findings reveal that law enforcement is far from optimal due to structural constraints, including limited institutional capacity and inconsistent implementation, as well as cultural and economic factors, such as the community’s dependence on mining as a primary livelihood. Moreover, political and economic interests often weaken oversight and create selective enforcement, further widening the gap between regulation and practice. The study emphasizes that law enforcement in the mining sector should not rely solely on repressive measures but must be integrated with community empowerment, sustainable livelihood alternatives, and the strengthening of institutional governance. Therefore, reforming regional regulations, improving inter-agency coordination, enhancing law enforcement capacity, and ensuring active community participation are crucial steps to build legal, fair, and sustainable mining governance in Mandailing Natal.
