Language is one way to keep relationships in harmony. People use language to communicate, convey messages verbally and directly, and express feelings. Advertisements result from a combination of communication arts with aesthetics, are persuasive, and are aimed at some parts of society. This article analyzes the meaning of verbal and visual signs on the J&T Express Advertisement. It aims to identify the verbal and visual signs and explain the meaning of the verbal and visual signs in Expedition advertisements. This analysis used J&T Express advertisement as a primary data and documentation method to collect data. This article used a qualitative method, and the data was analyzed descriptively. The results show that five data points were discussed. The verbal and visual signs analyzed used semantic theory by de Saussure to find the signifier and signified; all data have the signifier and signified. This article used Barthes' theory to analyze the meaning and find the denotative and connotative meanings. In general, verbal signs have both denotative and connotative meanings. The two verbal signs discovered in the data, all the verbal signs have denotative and connotative meaning. Two visual signs in the advertisements also convey their meanings to enhance the delivery of the value of the products.

This research focuses on efforts to improve vocabulary in deaf children by conducting an in-depth literature review. Through a systematic literature review method, this research reviews various techniques that have been implemented and recorded in the academic literature on vocabulary education for deaf children. The data sources are journal articles from 2019 to 2024, which discuss teaching methods and technology applications including the use of visual aids, sign language, and hearing support devices. The purpose of this study was to assess the effectiveness of various existing methods and recommend the most effective techniques based on empirical data. The results of the review showed that the integration of visual, interactive and context-based methods often provided substantial improvements in vocabulary acquisition in deaf children. Based on these results, the study makes recommendations for teaching practices as well as future research directions.

In summary, the comprehensive analysis of students' responses to 11 distinct questions about the utilization of TikTok as a learning medium in English-speaking classes yields valuable insights. The unanimous agreement among the interviewed students underscores the overall advantage of TikTok as an effective and versatile learning tool. Firstly, TikTok proves to be a valuable supplementary resource, providing diverse content that aids in better understanding study materials. Students emphasize that the platform's content enhances their comprehension, offering additional learning material that is both engaging and accessible. Secondly, TikTok's interactive features, such as stitch videos and duets, emerge as pivotal components that inject an engaging and enjoyable dimension into the learning process. Students express a strong preference for these features, highlighting their positive impact on the learning experience. Thirdly, TikTok significantly contributes to bolstering students' confidence in speaking English. The students' responses emphasize that the platform acts as a transformative space where they overcome initial apprehensions about fluency. Through consistent speaking practice, students report feeling more motivated and self-assured when communicating in English. Additionally, the analysis reflects a positive correlation between TikTok usage and increased motivation to learn English. The platform's dynamic and interactive nature contributes to a more stimulating learning environment, encouraging students to actively engage with the language. Furthermore, students note that TikTok facilitates a deeper understanding of English materials. The visual and auditory elements in TikTok videos enhance their comprehension and retention of vocabulary and pronunciation. Despite these positive aspects, it's essential to acknowledge potential drawbacks. Some students express concerns about distractions on TikTok, which may divert their focus from the intended educational content. This highlights the need for effective time management and self-discipline when using TikTok as a learning tool. In conclusion, the data-driven analysis reveals a multifaceted perspective on the advantages and disadvantages of using TikTok as an English learning tool. While it significantly contributes to supplementary learning, interactivity, and confidence-building, students need to navigate potential distractions. Ultimately, TikTok emerges as a valuable and effective tool in language education, requiring a balanced approach to optimize its benefits for English learners.

Visually impaired children are not exempt from this problem, considering that technology in this century is essential and everywhere due to its convenience to use and the usage of technology that simplifies activities. Activities that are being done include learning. It is important for individuals who will later interact and teach children who have visual impairments, to keep up with news about the effectiveness of learning, one of which is knowing the role of technology in language learning for visually impaired children. This article is made using the systematic literature review research method to find out the role of technology in language learning for visually impaired children, what technology can be used for language learning for visually impaired children, and its effectiveness in learning. The technology that has the ability to read PDF text, convert sounds in various languages, convert visual information into audio, and learn through audio greatly facilitates the learning of blind children, whether it is language learning or learning in general. Technology that facilitates blind learning has a good effect in general on the visually impaired children, such as the building of self-confidence for the visually impaired children due to the increased ability of the visually impaired children to learn to identify their environment, the ability to be independent, less dependence on others, and increased communication skills due to language learning that becomes more accessible.

The development of technology is something that cannot be separated from humans at this time, it is based on technology that is increasingly growing. But on the problems faced in the search for facilities and services private tutoring is still an information manual so that it is difficult for the community to find facilities and services for private tutoring especially in non-academic fields. Then it needs to be specifically designed as a search system for facilities and private tutoring services through web-based media. Thus the community is not difficult to find a place or non-academic field private tutoring services because in this system there is a latitude of maps that will show the location and there are display fees and online payments via a bank account. In designing the system the author observes the company and the community as well as a bibliography that aims to be a benchmark. The author uses the Business Model Canvas (BMC) method with the support of system requirements elicitation, as well as modeling the Unified Modeling Language (UML) system to visually implement the Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) program language with the MySQL database as a database server. With the design of a search system for facilities and private tutoring services, it can make it easier for people to find effective and efficient facilities or services in non-academic fields.

Software Modeling is a scientific discipline for studying forms of software modeling that are used as part of the software development stages in a structured and object-oriented manner. This software engineering modeling is presented in Requirements Analysis and described using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) method. UML (Unified Modeling Language) is a visual modeling method used as a means of designing object-oriented systems. UML diagrams that are often used are Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, Class Diagrams, Statemachine Diagrams and Component Diagrams. There are several applications that support UML creation, one of which is Draw.io. Draw.io is a website specifically designed for depicting UML diagrams online. It has a very responsive display and is integrated with Google's file storage service, namely Google Drive, so draw.io is an alternative for creating UML diagrams in a shorter time. On this basis, in the Community Service (PkM) program activities on this occasion, UML creation activities were carried out using the draw.io application and assistance in using UML in analyzing needs is one of the right solutions for solving problems in order to expand knowledge, simplify and improve the quality of education. and will overcome problems, time and socio-economic

English as an international language is an important language to be proficient in since it is used all over the globe. English is not an easy language to learn. Understanding phrases or expressions is very important when speaking English. The foundation for making sentences in English is to first understand words that are often used in everyday life (everyday vocabulary) and being able to effectively construct sentences that can be understood by others is a prerequisite for being able to compose sentences in English. The method used in the implementation of community service at SMPI Darul Muminin Bekasi school is the visual method and English card. The method of forming sentences using English cards emphasizes the ability of students to understand sentences using learnt vocabulary that is used to be assembled in a plot of a story. The application of the game technique method of composing sentences using English cards is considered very effective and fun, it is hoped that one day this method can be used as a model to develop learning activities in the classroom.

Government content is not trusted by the public and is boring. Policies on government social media are not well socialized. This phenomenon makes the Directorate General of Sea Transportation's public relations adapt the trend for publishing policy message information. The aim of this research is to determine the pattern of preparing government policy messages in building the image of the Directorate General of Sea Transportation. The theory used in this research is message structuring theory. The theory consists of attention, need, satisfaction, visualization, action. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out using in-depth interviews and documentation methods. In testing the validity of the data, a source triangulation test was carried out using in-depth interview techniques. The results of this research are that the pattern of preparing government policy messages on Instagram @djplkemenhub151 is quite good. This can be seen from the message preparation process carried out by the public relations team. The attention stage is found by determining the agenda setting, determining the type of Indonesian and English, the language is semi-formal, the factor that influences the message to attract attention is the trend. The need stage is carried out with research. determine the actual topic that is used as a message, and look for references in online media. The satisfaction stage is obtained by selecting the right visuals. The visualization stage was obtained through determining the visual characteristics of the bombang icon and determining the turquoise green display color. The action stage is that the public relations team carries out preparations and team discussions to compose the message. The interaction that is built is carried out by responding quickly and responsively to the hotline service or replying to comments. The conclusion from this research is that a good message structuring pattern can build a positive image of the Directorate General of Sea Transportation.

 This research aims to determine the benefits of audio-visual media in improving students' writing skills. This research uses an experimental design approach. The types of experimental research that refer to this research are Quasi Experimental Design involving 60 students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education study program class of 2021. One class is for the control class and the other class is for the experimental class. The instruments used in this research were performance test questions for the pretest and performance test questions for the students' posttest. Apart from these research instruments, there are manual notes from lecturers and students, and photos of activities during the learning process. The methods used to analyze the data obtained are quantitative and qualitative. The results of the research show that the application of audio-visual learning media has an effect on the language drama script writing skills of PGRI University West Sumatra students. From the results of data analysis, it can be seen that the effectiveness of the treatment is in the high category.   Keywords: Writing Skills, Drama Scripts, Audio Visual   Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui manfaat media audio visual dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan experimental design. Jenis-jenis penelitian eksperimen yang merujuk kepada penelitian ini adalah Quasi Experimental Design dengan melibatkan sebanyak 60 orang mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia angkatan 2021. Satu kelas untuk kelas kontrol dan satu kelas lainnya untuk kelas eksperimen. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah soal tes unjuk kerja untuk pretest dan soal tes unjuk kerja untuk posttest siswa. Selain instrumen penelitian tersebut dengan catatan manual dosen dan mahasiswa, dan foto kegiatan selama proses kegiatan pembelajaran berlangsung. Metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data yang diperoleh, yaitu kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa melalui penerapan media pembelajaran audio visual berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan menulis naskah drama berbahasa mahasiswa Universitas PGRI Sumatera Barat. The absence of an application to assist in the scheduling of the Communication and Informatics department's duties at TVRI has resulted in ineffective schedule distribution, causing a TVRI staff member to receive two coverage schedules simultaneously, while others may not receive any schedule at all. The purpose of this final report is to create an Application for Coverage, Announcers, and Editorial Schedules at TVRI using the PHP programming language with the Laravel framework and MYSQL database, and designing its interface using Bootstrap. The issue faced by TVRI's Communication and Informatics Department (Diskominfo) is the operational data processing of broadcasting schedules using Microsoft Excel, which poses several challenges including insufficient data security, unorganized data storage making it difficult to search, and the risk of losing previously saved data, thereby slowing down TVRI's reporting process. This application comprises three User levels: admin, User, and TVRI head. The research adopts the Prototype development method to create the Coverage, Announcers, and Editorial Schedule Application at TVRI. Through the Prototype, the development team can quickly visualize the application's design and functionality, gather early User feedback, and address potential issues or design improvements before full implementation. The research outcome, in the form of the application, provides a concrete solution to the challenges of scheduling effectiveness at TVRI, enhancing efficiency, addressing data security concerns, ensuring organized data storage, and improving workflow speed.

This research is classroom action research which aims to determine the improvement in student learning outcomes in the Indonesian language subject for class X SMA Negeri 5 Maros. The subjects of this research were class X of SMA Negeri 5 Maros for the 2023/2024 academic year with a total of 36 people. This research was carried out in two cycles and each cycle consisted of 6 meetings. The results of this research show that the application of audio-visual based learning media can improve the effectiveness and learning outcomes of students in Indonesian language subjects. Quantitative analysis shows that learning outcomes in the initial test were 38.88%, in cycle I there was an increase of 52.77% and then in cycle II it was 100%. This means that there is a significant increase in student learning outcomes.

The role of computers in the process of teaching and learning activities is very developed. Teachers in schools adapt to using computers as media for deliver learning materials. Javanese script contained in Javanese language subjects is one of the subjects taught to grade 4 elementary school students.The method used in this study is based on interactive media by combining teaching materials, and technological advances. The visual display will contain Javanese script material equipped with images, animations, and audio.Perancangan Media Interaktif “Mengenal Aksara Jawa” is a learning media that adapt students need in this era, so they can easy to receive, absorb, and understand the material.

The first advertisement has a persuasive, informative and reminiscent impression. However, the language style used in the advertisement depends on the purpose of the advertisement and the person being spoken to. Different uses, formalities, and means of language. In advertising, icons, symbols, models and texts are identified through language analysis. One of the basic skill methods to begin learning or mastering a foreign language, especially in Arabic is listening skills (istima'). So for teaching and learning foreign languages, especially Arabic, it is very important to have the ability to hear or listen (istima'). This istima' proficiency can help learners to easily understand a word that is heard well and clearly. The success of istima' learning is highly dependent on 3 stages, namely the planning stage (intention), the implementation stage, and finally the evaluation stage. Tools are very important to improve istima' skills such as media, both audio and audio-visual media. In this very modern era, habituation of istima' is very easy to do, because students do not need to visit Arab countries to be able to hear Arabic directly from local residents there, but students only need to open gadgets or other electronic devices such as laptops, computers, etc. to access audios or videos containing Arabic to help students in the process of habituation of istima'. If students have done istima' habituation regularly, then of course it will be easier for students to learn Arabic, because they have previously been accustomed to hearing it.

The aim of this research is to provide innovation related to learning media for crew members with an independent curriculum adaptation model for Indonesian language subjects, especially learning media for children with visual impairments or who are blind. The method used in this research is a literature review study or literature review. Literature study is a research design used to collect data sources related to a topic found in the field. Data collection for literature studies was carried out using the Google Scholar search tool. The screening results that were appropriate and needed were 3 National Journal articles based on the articles found and analyzed. The results of this research were that a suitable learning media for improving the reading skills of blind students was found to be using audio media in the form of voice recordings.

Learning evaluation is a process or activity to determine values, criteria, or behavior in learning. Children with special needs require special assistance & supervision. This type of research is empirical research, namely research with field data as the main data source. This type of research obtains data using field research, namely by observation, the researcher makes on-site observations of the research object to be observed using the five senses. Research Results In inclusive learning, the teacher prepares an individual assessment book which contains a summary of all student learning outcomes and each student receives the same attention but is given according to their needs. There are adjustments in techniques/methods/strategies in carrying out learning outcomes assessments. For example, students with visual impairments when assessing learning outcomes need to use riglets, pens, tape recorders, Braille typewriters and loops. If there is an oral test, then for students with hearing impairments there needs to be facial direction and the use of speech reading or lip reading, and when the teacher speaks it must be clear and the mouth movements are slow so that the student can understand, or even when specifically using sign language.
