The social transformation that has occurred in the digital era has encouraged Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to adapt to developments in information technology to increase competitiveness and expand market reach. One form of this adaptation is the use of e-commerce platforms as a means of marketing and managing their businesses online. This community service activity aims to empower the Kartika Taro Chips MSME through the introduction and implementation of an e-commerce platform based on Odoo.com, an integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This activity was carried out by students of the Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Computer Science, Victory University Sorong, with the assistance of lecturers from the Information Systems and Sociology fields. The training method includes several stages, namely: the stage of material preparation and analysis of participant needs, the implementation of a workshop that includes the installation and configuration of Odoo.com, and the post-training mentoring stage to ensure the sustainability and independence of participants in managing their online stores. The results of the training showed that participants were not only able to build and manage online stores independently, but also understood the basic concepts of ERP systems and experienced a significant increase in digital literacy. From a sociological perspective, this activity reflects a technology-driven social transformation process, where MSMEs are actively expanding their social networks through digital spaces and increasing their involvement in the digital economy. This demonstrates that integrating technological and social approaches can be a relevant MSME empowerment model in local contexts. Overall, this training has had a positive impact on strengthening MSMEs' digital capacity and opening up new opportunities for sustainable business development in the era of digital transformation.

This study aims to analyze the potential utilization of empty space on the second floor of the domestic terminal of Zainuddin Abdul Madjid International Airport (ZAM) Lombok to increase revenue from the non-aeronautical sector. The background of this study is based on the importance of optimizing airport assets to support long-term financial sustainability. This is crucial considering that the aeronautical sector is highly dependent on fluctuating flight traffic. Therefore, the development of the non-aerospace sector is a strategic alternative that needs to be seriously addressed. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through direct observation on site, interviews with airport management, and documentation studies. The results of the observation indicate that there is an empty space on the second floor of the terminal, specifically between the waiting room and a row of commercial tenants, which has not been optimally utilized. This area is considered to have a strategic position and quite high passenger traffic, so it has the potential to be developed into a new commercial facility. One of the proposed developments is a photobox service business unit with a local Lombok cultural theme. This concept is considered interesting because it combines digital technology with elements of cultural tourism promotion, in line with the trend of tourist needs for documentation and unique experiences. A feasibility analysis was conducted using the Business Model Canvas approach and the 7P marketing strategy (product, price, place, promotion, people, process, and physical evidence). The results showed that this idea is feasible from both an operational and marketing perspective. The study concluded that developing a photo booth business in an empty airport area has the potential to become a new, stable, efficient, and market-relevant source of revenue. Recommendations are given to airport management to immediately realize the utilization of this area to support the airport's role as a regional economic and tourism hub.

One of the digital marketing strategies commonly used by companies and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to introduce their products and achieve optimal profits is through the use of social media (Hidayat et al., 2022). The rapid development of information technology, particularly the internet and social media, has significantly changed consumer behavior and the way businesses operate. Digital marketing provides strategic opportunities for business actors, including lower promotional costs, increased brand awareness, and the potential to boost sales (Dwivedi et al., 2020). However, many MSMEs have not yet fully utilized digital marketing strategies through social media. The lack of digital literacy and limited understanding of effective marketing strategies remain major challenges in business development. To address these issues, a community service team from the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Islam Majapahit, implemented a mentoring program for the MSME “DnD Donat” located in Dlanggu District, Mojokerto Regency. The objective of this program was to provide the partner with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to design and implement an effective digital marketing strategy using social media as the primary promotional channel. Through this mentoring activity, the partner received education on the fundamentals of digital marketing, how to create engaging promotional content, and how to effectively use social media platforms such as Instagram and WhatsApp Business. The results of the program showed that the partner gained an understanding of digital marketing strategies and began to implement them in their business activities. The positive impact of the program was reflected in a noticeable increase in both sales volume and income over a specific period following the implementation of the new marketing approach. This program is expected to serve as a model for developing digital capabilities among other MSMEs and to support the broader digital transformation in the micro and small business sector in a sustainable manner.

This study aims to analyze the impact of experiential marketing on repurchase intention, mediated by guest satisfaction at Aston Batam Hotel & Residence. The background phenomenon underlying this research is the discrepancy between the high number of guests staying and the low number of returning guests during the period from January to June 2024. Despite receiving many positive reviews, the hotel has yet to establish strong customer loyalty. This indicates a need to evaluate the hotel's marketing strategies and the guest experience it provides. A quantitative approach was adopted, employing the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method. A total of 130 respondents were obtained through the distribution of questionnaires using a five-point Likert scale, measuring guest perceptions of experiential marketing, guest satisfaction, and repurchase intention. The data were analyzed using SmartPLS software to test the validity, reliability, and relationships among the structural model variables. The results of the analysis show that experiential marketing does not have a direct significant effect on repurchase intention, but it has a positive and significant effect on guest satisfaction. Furthermore, guest satisfaction is proven to have a significant impact on repurchase intention. The findings also confirm that guest satisfaction acts as a mediating variable in the relationship between experiential marketing and repurchase intention. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that guest satisfaction is a crucial factor in building customer loyalty and encouraging the intention to repurchase. Therefore, the hotel needs to enhance the quality of the customer experience holistically—not only focusing on service delivery but also creating meaningful and memorable impressions. In the highly competitive hospitality industry, delivering impactful and satisfying experiences is key to retaining customers and increasing guest retention. This study provides both theoretical and practical contributions to the development of experience-based marketing strategies and offers a deeper understanding of the role of guest satisfaction as a key driver of customer loyalty.

This study aims to analyze the strategy of utilizing vacant spaces within airports to enhance non-aeronautical revenue through collaboration with Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Given the growing importance of non-aeronautical revenue sources in the aviation industry, this research focuses on how airports can optimize underutilized spaces for commercial purposes. The research method applied is library research, where relevant literature, journals, and previous studies are reviewed to gain insights into successful strategies and best practices. The findings of the study indicate that the development of commercial spaces, such as fast-food tenants, retail outlets, and photo booths, can significantly enhance the passenger experience by providing convenient services and entertainment. Additionally, these developments offer a sustainable alternative revenue stream for airports, diversifying income beyond traditional aeronautical activities. The research also explores the role of the Value Proposition Canvas business model to assess the alignment between the value offered by these services and the needs of passengers. By applying this model, the study emphasizes the importance of understanding customer expectations and ensuring that airport services meet these demands. The analysis further highlights that successful implementation of these strategies requires careful planning, including collaboration between airport management, MSMEs, local governments, and sponsors. Building strong partnerships and ensuring mutual benefit are critical for maximizing the non-aeronautical revenue potential. The study concludes by suggesting that airports can leverage vacant spaces more effectively to not only boost revenue but also improve the overall passenger experience, contributing to the long-term sustainability and growth of the airport sector.

This study was conducted at Bio Live Healthy Home, located in Sei Bamban District, Serdang Bedagai Regency. The primary objective of this research is to determine how lifestyle, reference groups, and consumer attitudes influence the decision to use services offered by the institution. In a rapidly growing health and wellness industry, understanding consumer behavior is essential to improve service quality and increase customer engagement. To achieve the research objectives, the study employed a survey method with a quantitative approach. The target population consisted of service users, and a sample of 92 respondents was selected. Data collection was carried out through a combination of observation, interviews, documentation, and the distribution of structured questionnaires. The questionnaire was designed to capture variables related to lifestyle, reference groups, attitudes, and service usage decisions. Before conducting the main analysis, the data were tested for validity and reliability to ensure that the instrument accurately measured what it intended to measure. Furthermore, classical assumption tests, including normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity tests, were conducted to confirm the feasibility of using a multiple linear regression model. The analysis was performed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software. The results of the study revealed that lifestyle, reference groups, and attitudes each had a significant and positive influence on the decision to use services at Bio Live Healthy Home. This indicates that individuals with health-conscious lifestyles, influenced by their social environment and holding positive attitudes toward wellness services, are more likely to engage with the services offered. Moreover, these three factors collectively contributed to a meaningful explanation of the variation in consumer decisions. In conclusion, the findings highlight the importance for service providers to consider psychological and social factors when designing marketing strategies.

This study discusses the strategy of expanding the local Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) market through the development of Tourism Villages as a solution to limited market access and low competitiveness of MSME actors. MSMEs in Indonesia often face obstacles in aspects of the marketing mix such as venues, prices, products, and promotions. Through a qualitative approach, this study analyzes the direct impact of Tourism Villages on increasing market access, product innovation, and the role of innovation diffusion in encouraging technology adoption by MSME actors. The results of the study show that Tourism Villages such as Pujon Kidul, Taman Sari, and Sokobanah Daya are able to become a catalyst for the local economy by attracting tourists as potential consumers, reducing operational costs, and creating an innovation ecosystem that supports the growth of MSMEs. BUMDes (Village-Owned Enterprises) play an important role in digital promotion, product packaging development, and strengthening the capacity of local business actors through training and mentoring programs. Moreover, Tourism Villages encourage collaboration between stakeholders such as village governments, educational institutions, and private sectors in building sustainable local entrepreneurship. They also facilitate knowledge sharing and cultural preservation while integrating economic, social, and environmental values. Although there are still challenges such as lack of managerial skills, limited access to capital, and dependence on tourism seasons, the potential for long-term impact remains high. This study concludes that the integration of Tourism Village development with MSME strengthening strategies can be a model for inclusive and sustainable village economic empowerment. These findings provide practical recommendations for village governments, BUMDes managers, and MSME actors in building effective synergies that accelerate local economic growth and resilience.

This research aims to explore the potential of paper waste as a recycled material that can be transformed into economically valuable products through a philanthropic approach focused on community empowerment and environmental sustainability. Paper waste is a type of waste whose volume continues to increase due to high paper consumption in various sectors. Without proper management, this waste has the potential to negatively impact the environment, such as soil and water pollution. Therefore, innovative strategies are needed to transform paper waste into new products that are not only environmentally friendly but also have market value. Through a community-based recycling program, this research emphasizes the importance of community involvement, particularly low-income groups, in every stage of the production process. The resulting creative products, such as handicrafts, decorative materials, and household items, not only extend the life cycle of paper but also open up new economic opportunities for the community. Profits from the sale of these products are allocated to fund social programs, including education, skills training, and other empowerment activities aimed at improving community well-being. The research results show that despite challenges in terms of limited technology, market access, and human resource capacity, paper recycling programs still have promising prospects if supported by various parties, including the government, non-governmental organizations, and the private sector. This support can include the provision of simple technology, entrepreneurship training, and effective marketing strategies. Thus, this paper recycling initiative is not only a solution to reduce waste but also a sustainable socio-economic empowerment model, providing dual benefits for the environment and society.

This community service activity aimed to provide guidance and capacity building for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), specifically chicken satay vendors operating in the parking area of Taman Anggrek Mall, Jakarta. These culinary MSMEs have strong potential due to their strategic location, which attracts high foot traffic. However, many of these business owners still face challenges in managing and developing their businesses, particularly in terms of managerial skills, financial record-keeping, and marketing strategies. Therefore, this program was designed to enhance their business competitiveness by improving their managerial abilities, introducing simple bookkeeping practices, and promoting the use of digital platforms for marketing. The implementation of the program began with an initial observation to identify the specific needs and challenges faced by the MSME actors. This was followed by interactive training sessions covering topics such as the importance of basic financial management, how to create simple financial reports, and effective yet low-cost digital marketing strategies. In addition to the training, the team also provided intensive one-on-one mentoring to ensure that participants could apply the materials in their daily business operations. The outcomes of the program showed positive developments. The MSME participants began to recognize the importance of keeping financial records as a basis for making business decisions. They were also able to identify internal management issues such as inventory control and business planning. In terms of marketing, most of the vendors have started using digital platforms like WhatsApp Business and Instagram to promote their products, allowing them to reach a wider audience. It is expected that this community engagement initiative will continue and serve as a model for similar training programs targeting culinary MSMEs in other busy urban areas. Such efforts are essential to developing more independent, professional, and competitive MSMEs in the digital era.

Digitalization has been a key catalyst for change in the global business landscape, driving the transformation of companies' strategies, organizational structures, and operational models. For small and medium enterprises (SMEs), digital technology opens up great opportunities to expand market reach and compete in the international arena more effectively. Technologies such as e-commerce, social media, big data analytics, and cloud-based platforms enable SMEs to break through geographical boundaries, facilitate access to global customers, and accelerate product distribution and marketing processes. This paper explores the current academic literature that discusses the influence of digital technology on the internationalization of SMEs. A total of five relevant studies were analyzed to identify common patterns, challenges, and successful strategies in the use of digital technology. The results of the study show that the adoption of digitalization not only improves operational cost efficiency, but also encourages business model innovation, such as digital platform-based marketing, cross-border virtual collaboration, and the development of a more adaptive global business ecosystem. In addition, the ability to utilize digital technology gives SMEs a competitive advantage through access to real-time market information, personalization of offers, and more targeted branding strategies. However, the research also found obstacles, such as limited human resources, technological infrastructure, and digital literacy among SMEs. Therefore, synergy is needed between business actors, the government, and academia to support the acceleration of digital technology adoption through training, mentoring, and policies that support innovation. The paper also highlights future research opportunities, such as the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, automation, and blockchain in supporting the global expansion of SMEs. These findings are expected to be a strategic reference in designing sustainable internationalization policies in the digital era.

Abstract: This study investigates the impact of social media marketing (SMM) on brand awareness, brand engagement, and purchase intention across five emerging European economies: Albania,Kosovo, Romania, Ukraine, and North Macedonia. Anchored in the Uses and Gratifications Theory(UGT) and the Consumer Brand Engagement (CBE) model, the research employs Partial LeastSquares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to examine the complex interrelationships amongthese constructs. Findings reveal that SMM positively influences brand awareness and engagement, both of which significantly mediate the relationship between SMM and purchase intention.Importantly, the strength and nature of these effects vary by country, underscoring the role ofcultural and contextual factors in shaping consumer responses to digital marketing stimuli. Thiscross-national analysis fills a critical gap in the literature by focusing on underrepresented, highgrowth markets and offers valuable implications for both theory and practice. Specifically, itadvocates for localized, culturally sensitive SMM strategies that emphasize both visibility andinteractive engagement. The study contributes to the broader marketing discourse by demonstratinghow consumer behavior in digitally connected, developing economies diverges from that in maturemarkets, thereby reinforcing the necessity of context-aware digital marketing frameworks in globalstrategy formulation.
