Semiotically, poetry is a systematic and meaningful structure of signs determined by convention. Understanding poetry is nothing other than understanding the meaning of poetry. The meaning of poetry is a work that arises from language which is arranged based on literary structure according to its conventions. Therefore, to study poetry, it is necessary to conduct a semiotic analysis of the land, remembering that poetry is a structure of meaningful signs. The semiotic approach is considered capable of expressing the meaning contained in poetry, so this approach has received a lot of attention, namely with the research that has been produced. This article aims to discuss the hidden meaning of poetic texts through discussion and explanation from a semiotic perspective. This theory is used as a basis for explaining poetry in terms of the signs and interpretations thereof. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a focus on poetry as the object and research data. The results of this research show that the poem "Aku Brings the Wind" by Heri IsnaIni has a strong structure with signs that form meaning. The concept of determination is the dominant theme that builds the meaning of the poem as a whole. Thus, it is hoped that this research will open up research that utilizes semiotic theory in discussing poetry and other literary texts.

The purpose of this study is to apply self-love to help maintain mental health and reduce the risk of disorders in one's psychological condition in Ghea Indrawati's "Sad Soul" video clip. This analysis focuses on how the depiction of self-love is contained in each scene, then continues on Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic model (triangle meaning). This research is qualitative research and uses semiotic analysis owned by Charles Sanders Peirce. For Charles Sanders Peirce, the fundamental principle of the nature of signs is representative and interpretive nature. The music video of the song "Sad Soul" was chosen because the music video has many moral messages aimed at loving yourself, this concept encourages someone to be able to recognize and accept themselves then be able to treat themselves well and as they are. The results of this study have 3 aspects, namely self-love as soft love for oneself that focuses on planting, nurturing, and developing oneself. Self-love as a dynamic state of self-appreciation, which grows from actions that support physical, psychological, and spiritual growth. Self-love as a feeling of comfort and the ability to set aside time for self-care.

Literary works always contain the author's perspective on reality as a social institution created by the author. These problems are often combined into a view or criticism of life. This certainly describes social life as a reality that occurs in an environment. One type of literary work that contains a view of reality is W.S Rendra's poem entitled "Poem of Hot People". The aim of this research is to determine the effort to explain the social impact of the poem entitled "Poetry of the Overheated People" by W.S Rendra. The poem depicts social and political inequality between the needy class of society and the ruling class of society. Through this research, I hope to make us more sensitive to circumstances and conditions. The reason I chose W.S Rendra's poetry was because the language was very clear and specific. With poetry that uses clear and specific language, the meaning of the content is accurate and complete. The poem is analyzed using the perspective of the social impact that occurs on a phenomenon. The method used in this research is a qualitative method using a literary sociology approach. The technique used is descriptive analysis technique. The researcher sees himself as the only tool. This process involves recording factors related to aspects of social impact as documentation of analysis and as a source of understanding. The results of the research show that the poem "Poetry of Hot People" describes social inequality. Based on these findings, researchers concluded that poetry can be used as a means to criticize existing injustices and express feelings of dissatisfaction with social situations.

This research discusses the absorption of foreign languages towards changes in the Indonesian language. History has shown that Malay (Indonesian) has absorbed many foreign languages. Absorption elements in the form of phonemes, affixes and words also enrich the Indonesian vocabulary. Positively, the presence of loan words can sharpen the power of Indonesian language expression. Efforts to limit the absorption of foreign words are not only a matter of strengthening one's personality, but also of protecting the Indonesian language system. Reality has shown that not all loan words are subject to our language system, but on the contrary, Indonesian is "forced" to make modifications to accommodate them.
