This study aims to analyze the operational conditions of the raw material warehouse at PT Nutrition And Special Foods Division and evaluate the potential implementation of an Internet of things (IoT)-based warehouse management system (WMS) to improve the efficiency and accuracy of warehouse management. A descriptive qualitative approach was used, including field observations and interviews with several operators and warehouse staff. The findings indicate that the currently used manual system causes various obstacles, such as input errors, slow picking processes, and limited stock tracking capabilities. A simulation of WMS implementation using RFID and barcode technology showed significant improvements, including approximately 40% increase in picking  efficiency, around 90% improvement in stock recording accuracy, and a reduction of input errors by up to 85%. The application of this technology also supports real-time tracking using FIFO/FEFO methods and enhances visibility and decision-making in logistics operations. Thus, the integration of RFID, barcode, and QR code in WMS proves effective in transforming warehouse management into a faster, more accurate, and responsive system aligned with supply chain dynamics.

This study aims to analyze the extent to which Sharia principles can stabilize the micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSME) market through the framework of Islamic demand and supply theory. In conventional economic systems, price fluctuations and market instability are common challenges for MSMEs. In contrast, Islamic economics offers a value-based approach that emphasizes honesty, justice, the prohibition of exploitation, and the concept of fair pricing (tsaman al-mitsli). This research employs a library research method by reviewing primary and secondary sources, including scholarly journals, classical Islamic economic texts, and recent empirical studies. The findings indicate that implementing Sharia principles fosters market stability through the reinforcement of business ethics, transparent information, and the utilization of Islamic instruments such as zakat, infaq, and profit-sharing-based financing. Furthermore, the concept of barakah (blessing) in transactions strengthens consumer loyalty and business resilience. This study concludes that Sharia principles are not only normative but also practical and strategic in addressing the challenges of market instability in the MSME sector. However, this research is limited to theoretical analysis and lacks empirical field data; therefore, future research employing quantitative or case study approaches is strongly recommended.

This study uses a quantitative associative technique to examine how Indonesia's digital economy contributes to economic growth. For the years 2014–2023, secondary data were acquired from the Central Bureau of Statistics, Bank Indonesia, and the World Bank. The Two-Stage Least Square (TSLS) method and a simultaneous model with two equations were used to analyze the impact of monetary variables (interest rates, money supply, and inflation) and digital economy variables (internet users, e-commerce growth, and e-money users) on economic growth. The findings indicate that while e-commerce expansion and inflation have a negligible negative impact on economic growth, internet and e-money users have a large beneficial impact. In the meanwhile, inflation is significantly impacted positively by the money supply and negatively by interest rates and economic growth. These results highlight how crucial it is to manage monetary factors and improve digital infrastructure in order to promote Indonesia's economic growth in the digital age.

The implementation of a 32% reciprocal import tariff by the United States in April 2025, targeting Indonesian palm oil, reflects an intensifying global trend of trade protectionism. As one of Indonesia’s top export commodities, palm oil was severely affected by the policy, revealing the structural fragility of the country’s export-dependent economy. The tariff led to immediate disruptions in trade flows, price competitiveness, and employment across the palm oil supply chain. This study aims to analyze the economic impact of the U.S. tariff policy on Indonesia’s palm oil industry and to examine the government’s policy responses in mitigating these effects. The research also seeks to identify strategic lessons for improving trade resilience in the face of unilateral trade measures. The study adopts a qualitative descriptive approach, integrating macroeconomic analysis and international trade theory. It uses secondary data from trade statistics, government reports, and international institutions, combined with conceptual frameworks including global value chain theory, comparative advantage, and trade policy response models. The findings indicate that the tariff caused a 22.5% decline in export value and a 24.9% drop in volume within the first quarter after implementation. Approximately 17,000 workers were affected, and investor confidence weakened due to disruptions in downstream value chains. In response, the Indonesian government launched a five-pillar strategy covering trade diplomacy, market diversification, regulatory reform, fiscal support, and digital service trade bargaining. These findings highlight the urgent need for structural transformation, value-added industrial development, and adaptive trade governance to strengthen Indonesia’s long-term economic resilience.

Ships as the main mode of transportation that has a strategic role in trade transportation, the trade supply chain really needs proper operations. The operational of the ship is greatly influenced by the performance of the main engine. One of the critical components of the main engine is the exhaust valve which functions to regulate the release of exhaust gas from the combustion chamber to the exhaust manifold. The research is qualitative, collecting data through observation, documentation, and interviews. The event tree analysis (ETA) method is implemented the sequence of impacts produced by exhaust valve, such as high working temperatures, low engine performance, and standard functions described in the manual book so that leaks can be identified. So, From this analysis, the impacts that are traced sequentially to the performance of the exhaust valve itself can also be found. In addition, a fishbone diagram is used to describe the factors that cause leaks, including human error, managerial deficiencies, neglected inspections, and errors in maintenance techniques. Thus, the right handling can be found to overcome exhaust valve leaks, such as repairs required while the engine is stopped, repeated spare part submissions from ship management, conducting spindle thickness inspections, and improving maintenance techniques as specified in the engine manual book. Proper and effective preventive and handling actions based on the root causes outlined are essential to ensure proper operation of the machine.

This study examines the market mechanism from the perspective of Islamic economics as a response to conventional economic systems that tend to emphasize either free-market principles or full government intervention. In Islam, the market mechanism is governed by principles of justice, transparency, and balance among the interests of individuals, the state, and society. This research highlights the thoughts of classical Islamic scholars such as Abu Yusuf, Ibn Taymiyyah, Al-Ghazali, and Ibn Khaldun, who had already elaborated on the concepts of markets, pricing, supply and demand, and ethical conduct in transactions long before Western economists developed similar ideas. Using a qualitative approach and literature review, this article analyzes various market distortions such as ihtikar (hoarding), tadlis (fraud), riba (usury), and gharar (uncertainty), as well as the role of government in limited intervention to maintain balance and fairness. The findings show that the Islamic market mechanism is not solely focused on economic efficiency, but is also deeply rooted in moral and spiritual values.
