Akuntansi dan Ekonomi Pajak: Perspektif Global 2025 Asosiasi Riset Ekonomi dan Akuntansi Indonesia

This study aims to determine the influence of Market Value Added (MVA) and Economic Value Added (EVA) on stock prices, with Return on Asset (ROA) as a moderation variable. In the world of investment, stock prices are an important indicator that reflects the value of a company in the eyes of investors. Therefore, this study seeks to explore how economic added value and market value can contribute to an increase in stock prices, as well as whether a company's financial performance reflected in ROA can strengthen the relationship. The research method used is a quantitative method. The sampling technique was carried out by purposive sampling of 30 banking sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2019 to 2022. The sample selection criteria include companies that consistently publish financial statements and have the complete data needed in this study. Data were analyzed using SPSS software version 26 with multiple linear regression analysis techniques to test the direct influence, as well as Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) to test the role of ROA moderation. The results of the study show that MVA has a positive and significant effect on stock prices. The same goes for EVA, which also has a positive and significant influence on stock prices. However, when ROA was tested as a moderation variable, the results showed that ROA was unable to strengthen or weaken the influence of MVA on stock prices. The same is true of the influence of EVA on stock prices, where ROA has not proven to be a significant moderator. These findings indicate that while MVA and EVA are important indicators in determining stock prices, financial performance through ROA is not always able to moderate these relationships in the context of banking companies in Indonesia.

Akuntansi Pajak dan Kebijakan Ekonomi Digital 2025 Asosiasi Riset Ekonomi dan Akuntansi Indonesia

This study aims to analyze the influence of Good Corporate Governance (GCG), intellectual capital, and leverage on firm value in technology sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2021–2024 period. GCG is measured through three indicators: managerial ownership, institutional ownership, and the presence of an audit committee. Intellectual capital is measured using the Value Added Intellectual Coefficient (VAIC™) method, while leverage is measured using the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER). Firm value as the dependent variable is measured using the Tobin's Q ratio. This study uses a quantitative approach with secondary data obtained from annual reports and financial statements of companies accessed through the official IDX website and each company's website. A purposive sampling technique was used to determine the sample, and eight companies were obtained with a total of 32 observation data over a four-year period. The results show that leverage has a significant effect on firm value, indicating that appropriate and proportional debt structure management is a key factor in increasing the value of companies in the technology sector. Meanwhile, managerial ownership, institutional ownership, the presence of an audit committee, and intellectual capital did not show a significant effect on firm value. This suggests that, in the technology sector, external financing strategies play a greater role than internal company factors such as ownership structure and intangible assets. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for company management and investors in formulating financing policies and managing knowledge-based resources.

This literature review investigates the influence of fair value accounting (FVA) on enhancing financial transparency, particularly within the evolving context of digital assets. By analyzing 103 peer-reviewed articles, the study evaluates how FVA facilitates automated, real-time, and market-based disclosures. It identifies FVA as a tool for increasing investor trust and improving the clarity of financial statements by aligning valuations with current market conditions. The review also highlights the specific challenges of applying FVA to decentralized and volatile digital assets such as cryptocurrencies and non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Although FVA contributes to more transparent and relevant reporting, the implementation of FVA for digital assets is hindered by several critical issues. These include inconsistent valuation methodologies, lack of standardized regulatory guidance, susceptibility to market manipulation, and technological limitations in tracking asset value across decentralized platforms. Furthermore, the rapid pace of innovation in digital finance outstrips the adaptability of existing accounting standards and legal frameworks, creating a gap that weakens the consistency of fair value assessments. The review proposes the integration of FVA within a broader theory of decision-making under uncertainty, emphasizing the need for adaptive and digitization-responsive accounting practices. It suggests practical frameworks that align valuation procedures with the unique characteristics of digital assets while ensuring compliance with emerging regulations. This research encourages ongoing examination and policy innovation to ensure that FVA continues to support transparency and informed decision-making in a dynamic financial landscape.

Akuntansi Pajak dan Kebijakan Ekonomi Digital 2025 Asosiasi Riset Ekonomi dan Akuntansi Indonesia

Based on the financial performance analysis of PT. Gudang Garam Tbk (GGRM) during the 2020–2023 period, the company faced significant challenges that impacted its financial condition. One of the main factors affecting the company's performance is the increase in tobacco excise duties, which has affected the cost structure and selling prices of its cigarette products. Additionally, the increasing regulatory pressure and changes in consumer behavior have posed unavoidable challenges. The decline in profitability and liquidity ratios, such as Return on Assets (ROA) and Current Ratio (CR), indicates the negative impact of these external conditions on the company’s ability to generate profit and meet short-term obligations. This decline suggests that the company is struggling to balance income and operational costs. The fluctuating solvency ratio also raises concern. Although the company manages to maintain a balance between debt and equity, these fluctuations show challenges in managing long-term assets and liabilities. Dependence on debt and rising operational costs pose risks to the company's financial stability. These fluctuations affect the company's ability to maintain liquidity and solvency in an increasingly competitive market. Trend analysis from the financial statements indicates that the company needs to strengthen its adaptation strategies and risk management to face the growing market challenges. GGRM must focus on product innovation and marketing strategies that can attract new customers while retaining existing ones. Furthermore, the company must adapt to changing regulations and evolving consumer trends. The results of this study provide important insights for stakeholders regarding the financial condition of the tobacco industry. In this challenging situation, GGRM must continue to develop more adaptive strategies to survive and thrive amidst the dynamic market and increasingly stringent regulations.

Financial statements play an important role in providing relevant, reliable, and trustworthy financial information to stakeholders. Although auditors are responsible for ensuring the fairness of these statements, cases of undetected financial fraud still occur. This research seeks to empirically examine the effect of experience and time budget pressure on the auditor’s ability to detect fraud, with an understanding of red flags as a moderating variable. The research was conducted on auditors who work in Public Accounting Firms (PAFs) in Bali. The sample was determined using purposive sampling technique and 94 auditors were obtained as a sample. Data was collected through a survey method using a structured questionnaire distributed to respondents. The analytical methods used include multiple linear regression analysis and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results showed that experience has a positive effect, and time budget pressure has a negative effect on the auditor’s’ ability to detect fraud. Furthermore, red flags strengthen the effect of experience and time budget pressure on the auditor’s ability to detect fraud. The findings provide valuable insights for auditors to manage their work focus effectively and for public accounting firms to allocate audit time proportionally, ensuring optimal awareness of red flags even under high time pressure.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have an important contribution in supporting the national economy, especially in terms of job creation and strengthening the local economy. However, most MSMEs still face challenges in compiling financial statements that are in accordance with applicable accounting standards. This study aims to analyze the extent to which the implementation of Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small, and Medium Entities (SAK-EMKM) has been implemented by MSME actors, as well as identify the obstacles faced in the process. The research approach used is qualitative descriptive, with data collection techniques through interviews, direct observation, and document review. The findings of the study show that the level of understanding of MSME actors towards SAK-EMKM is still low, and the implementation of these standards is not evenly distributed. The main causative factors include limited accounting knowledge, lack of professional assistance, and lack of access to technical training. In addition, most MSMEs still rely on manual recording without referring to correct accounting principles, making it difficult in the audit process or applying for loans to financial institutions. Another obstacle is the lack of digital literacy in financial management, as well as the assumption that the preparation of financial statements is not a top priority. In fact, well-structured financial statements can be an important tool in business decision-making and open access to funding. This study recommends the importance of collaboration between the government, academics, and financial institutions to provide training, mentoring, and a simple reporting system that is in accordance with the characteristics of MSMEs. This effort is expected to increase the awareness and ability of MSMEs to manage finances in an accountable and transparent manner, as well as support business growth and sustainability in the long term.

Financial reports are an important tool for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in measuring their performance and financial health. This study aims to design a simple financial reporting system that can be implemented by Big Bites, a culinary business located in Bekasi City. The method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with stages of observation, interviews, and documentation during a three-month internship (October–December 2024). The results of the study indicate that before the design, Big Bites did not have a good financial recording system and still relied on manual records. Through the design of Microsoft Excel-based financial reports that include a general journal, ledger, trial balance, income statement, statement of changes in equity, and balance sheet, MSMEs can understand their financial condition more clearly and accurately. The implementation of this system is expected to assist MSMEs in business decision-making, financial planning, and increasing business credibility.

This study aims to empirically examine the influence of the Internal Control System (SPI), Regional Financial Accounting System (SAKD), Government Accounting Standards (SAP), and Transparency on the quality of financial statements in the Regional Government of Purbalingga Regency. The problem of the quality of financial statements is still an important issue in regional financial management, because quality financial reports not only function as a form of accountability to the public, but also as a basis for strategic decision-making for local governments. The research method uses a quantitative approach with questionnaire instruments distributed to 61 respondents, consisting of local government officials involved in the process of preparing financial statements and have met the research criteria. Data analysis was carried out using the inner model and outer model approaches, which resulted in an R-square value of 0.743 for the financial report quality variable. This value shows that the independent variables in this study were able to explain 74.3% of the variation in the quality of financial statements, while the rest was influenced by other factors outside the research model. The results of the analysis show that the SAKD and Transparency variables have a significant influence on the quality of local government financial statements. This confirms that a good financial accounting system and transparency in public budget management are the main factors that can improve the reliability, relevance, and accountability of financial statements. On the other hand, the SPI and SAP variables did not have a significant effect, which shows that the implementation of both still needs evaluation and improvement in order to make a real contribution to the quality of financial statements.

Financial statement restatements often negatively impact investor perceptions and a company's market value. Previous studies have shown that companies conducting restatements experience significant share price declines, with an average decline of 20% following the announcement. This phenomenon reflects investors' high sensitivity to negative information related to the reliability of financial statements and suggests that a company's reputation can be damaged quickly. Financial statement restatements are generally associated with material errors or manipulation of financial information, and are therefore often linked to indications of fraud or deception in prior financial reporting. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing financial statement restatements and their impact on firm value, focusing on infrastructure companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2021 to 2023. The research method used is a quantitative approach with secondary data obtained from financial statements and official company publications. The analysis was conducted using logistic regression to examine the influence of fraud factors (pressure, opportunity, and rationalization) on restatements, and linear regression to assess the impact of restatements on firm value. The results of the study indicate that of the three main factors of fraud, only rationalization significantly influences financial statement restatements. Meanwhile, pressure and opportunity do not show significant effects. Furthermore, financial statement restatements were not shown to significantly impact the value of companies in the infrastructure sector during the study period. These findings provide important insights for stakeholders in understanding financial reporting risks and the urgency of strengthening ethics and internal controls in companies.

This study aims to analyze the influence of capital structure, company size, and liquidity on the financial performance of manufacturing companies in the food and beverage sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2019–2023 period. The food and beverage industry is one of the sectors that has a significant contribution to national economic growth, so understanding the factors that affect its financial performance is crucial. The method used is a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis techniques to test the relationships between variables. The data used comes from the annual financial statements of companies that are included in the sub-sector for the past five years. The results of the study show that partially, the capital structure has a significant influence on the company's financial performance, which is shown by a calculated t-value of 6.414 and a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05). These findings indicate that the more optimal the capital structure managed by the company, the better its financial performance. On the other hand, company size and liquidity do not show a significant influence on financial performance. The company size has a t-value of -1.493 with a significance of 0.140 (> 0.05), while liquidity has a t-value of 0.765 with a significance of 0.447 (> 0.05). However, simultaneously, these three independent variables together have a significant effect on financial performance, as shown by a calculated F-value of 19,527 and a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05). The results of this study provide important implications for company management to pay more attention to the management of capital structure, as it is the dominant factor in influencing financial performance. Optimizing capital structure can be used as a strategy to increase the efficiency and competitiveness of the company in the midst of the dynamics of the food and beverage industry.

This study aims to explore and analyze the implementation of internal control mechanisms within Ministries/Agencies that received a disclaimer opinion on their audited financial statements. It also examines the form of financial transparency applied by these institutions in the preparation of their financial reports. The research focuses on the role of government internal audits in two institutions: the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries and the Indonesian Maritime Security Agency (BAKAMLA), utilizing a qualitative literature synthesis approach. The research method employs a descriptive qualitative design. Based on the findings, it is concluded that the lack of supervision by internal auditors and the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) over these two institutions stems from several factors: limited competence and capacity of internal auditors, weak internal control systems and structures, lack of auditor independence, and inadequate routine monitoring and evaluation. Furthermore, in preparing financial reports, Ministries and Agencies are required to adopt financial transparency practices by preparing financial statements in accordance with Government Accounting Standards (SAP), disclosing complete notes to financial statements, and utilizing transparent and integrated financial applications.
