This research undertakes a comparative analysis of the concept of divorce within the frameworks of Islamic Family Law and Buddhist Ethics. Marriage, recognized as a profound bond of both physical and spiritual union, holds significant value in both religious traditions. However, contemporary social realities reveal a high incidence of divorce, prompting a critical examination of the legal and ethical mechanisms governing its dissolution. Within Islamic jurisprudence, divorce (talak) is permitted but considered detestable by Allah, governed by stringent procedural mechanisms including talak (the husband’s right), khulu’ or gugat cerai (the wife’s right to initiate), and fasakh (judicial intervention). These processes carry clear legal implications concerning the waiting period (iddah), the possibility of reconciliation (rujuk), and the division of marital property. Conversely, while Buddhism does not explicitly prohibit divorce, the teachings of the Buddha strongly encourage spouses to exhaust all avenues for peaceful conflict resolution before considering separation as a last resort. The ethical framework in Buddhism grants equal rights to both parties to dissolve the marriage. This study employs a qualitative descriptive analytical method through library research, drawing upon primary legal texts such as Indonesia’s Law No. 1 of 1974 on Marriage and the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI) for Muslims, alongside the Vinaya Pitaka for adherents of Buddhism. The findings indicate that while both traditions view divorce as a final option, they diverge fundamentally in their legal structures; Islamic law establishes specific, gender-differentiated rights and obligations, whereas Buddhist ethics emphasize mutual consent and personal responsibility without formal legalistic procedures. The research concludes by recommending that couples, regardless of faith, prioritize reconciliation and peace, aligning with the core principles of both religions, and urges policymakers and legal practitioners to promote harmonious family life and reconsider legal frameworks that might better serve the welfare of children and families.

This paper discusses the principles of Jesus’ teachings that are relevant for building effective and transformative learning within the context of contemporary education. Jesus is known as the Great Teacher who taught with authority, closeness, and methods capable of transforming the thinking, attitudes, and behavior of His listeners. Through biblical analysis and pedagogical examination, this study identifies several key principles, including the use of stories and parables to facilitate deep understanding, a dialogical approach that encourages active participation, contextualization of the message according to the listeners’ social background, modeling as a form of learning through example, and an emphasis on character transformation as the ultimate goal of education. The study concludes that the principles of Jesus’ teaching are not only effective in delivering content but also play a significant role in shaping the internal transformation of learners. By adapting these principles, modern educators can build learning processes that are more meaningful, holistic, and transformation-oriented.

Closed distal humerus fractures are injuries involving the distal portion of the humeral bone without disruption of the overlying skin, most commonly resulting from direct trauma such as the impact of a heavy object or blunt force to the elbow region. Although relatively uncommon in adults, this type of fracture presents considerable complexity due to its proximity to neurovascular structures and the elbow joint. Diagnosis is established through targeted anamnesis, comprehensive physical examination, and radiographic imaging in two standard projections to assess the location, fracture pattern, and degree of displacement. Additional modalities such as computed tomography (CT) may be indicated in cases of articular or comminuted fractures to enhance operative planning. Management depends on fracture stability, the extent of displacement, and the condition of surrounding soft tissues. In unstable or comminuted fractures, operative intervention such as Open Reduction and Internal Fixation (ORIF) is the preferred approach to restore bony continuity, reconstruct articular anatomy, and enable early mobilization. The primary therapeutic goals are to optimize elbow function, maintain joint stability, and prevent long-term complications including stiffness, malunion, delayed union, or non-union. Postoperative rehabilitation plays a crucial role in preventing restricted range of motion and restoring extremity strength. This case report describes a 49-year-old male with a comminuted closed distal humerus fracture of the left arm following direct trauma from a heavy object. The patient underwent complete clinical and radiological evaluation and was treated with ORIF. Early outcomes demonstrated adequate restoration of stability and alignment, affirming that accurate diagnostic assessment and timely intervention significantly contribute to optimal functional recovery of the affected extremity.

This study provides an in-depth examination of the relationship between the implementation of administrative ethics and the quality of civil service performance within the framework of good governance principles in Kota Palangka Raya. Employing a qualitative–descriptive approach grounded in literature-based analysis, this research explores various empirical findings related to public service practices, bureaucratic transparency, regional asset management, and the integrity of civil servants. The analysis reveals that administrative ethics have not been fully internalized, as evidenced by persistent delays in service delivery, employee absenteeism, convoluted procedures, low responsiveness, and weak accountability and regulatory compliance. These conditions indicate a substantial gap between ideal ethical standards and actual administrative practices. The findings further confirm that core values of administrative ethics—such as integrity, discipline, responsibility, transparency, and professionalism—play a determinant role in realizing good governance principles, including transparency, effectiveness, efficiency, accountability, and the rule of law. This study asserts that strengthening administrative ethics is a strategic prerequisite for improving civil service quality and restoring public trust. The implications highlight the need for continuous capacity-building, enhanced integrity among civil servants, and strengthened oversight mechanisms to establish an equitable, accountable, and citizen-oriented system of governance.

This study examines the psychometric properties of the Indonesian version of the Questionnaire for Eudaimonic Well-Being (QEWB) with a focus on internal structural validity and reliability. The research aims to provide empirical evidence regarding the feasibility of QEWB as an instrument to assess eudaimonic well-being within the Indonesian population. The process involved the adaptation of the original scale, followed by exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) to evaluate its dimensional structure. Findings indicate that the Indonesian QEWB demonstrates adequate internal structural validity and reliable measurement consistency. The four-factor model meaning in life, self-discovery, personal expression enjoyment, and personal satisfaction and fulfillment showed the best fit, confirming the stability of this structure across analyses. Further examination through group comparison suggests that the instrument does not exhibit gender bias within the sample, supporting its fairness and applicability across male and female respondents. These results highlight the potential use of the Indonesian QEWB for research and psychological assessment, particularly in studies focusing on well-being, personal development, and organizational contexts. However, the generalization of findings should be approached with caution due to sample limitations. Future research is recommended to involve more diverse populations and explore additional psychometric evidence to strengthen the scale’s applicability across broader cultural and demographic groups.

The implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) is a crucial foundation for maintaining public trust in Indonesia’s Islamic banking sector. Yet, the effectiveness of GCG is often debated because formal practices tend to be technocratic and procedural, lacking deeper internalization of Sharia Ethical values. This study analyzes the application of GCG based on Sharia Ethics at Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI), with a case study at KCP Sawangan Sari Plaza. Using a qualitative approach and case study method, data were collected through source triangulation, including in-depth interviews with the Branch Operation and Service Manager (BOSM), customer service officers, and tellers. These interviews were supported by participatory observation and an examination of corporate documents. The findings reveal no significant discrepancy between formal GCG practices and Sharia Ethics at the research site. GCG principles such as Transparency, Accountability, Responsibility, and Fairness are consistently implemented and rooted in ethical values like Amanah (trustworthiness), Shidq (honesty), and ’Adl (justice). A key insight from this study is the shift in employee motivation from fear-based compliance toward value-based compliance. This shows that the integration of GCG and Sharia Ethics is strongly influenced by ethical leadership and the development of a spiritual work culture at the branch level.

This study aims to examine learning typologies in Arabic language instruction and analyze how differences in learning styles influence the effectiveness of the learning process. The study focuses on identifying the characteristics of visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning types and how these variations can serve as the basis for designing more adaptive and meaningful Arabic teaching strategies. The method employed is a literature review, involving the examination of books, journal articles, previous research findings, and other relevant scientific documents. The analysis was conducted through the collection of references, in-depth review, critical evaluation, categorization of findings, and theoretical synthesis, resulting in a comprehensive description of learning typologies within the context of Arabic language learning. The findings indicate that Arabic language learning is influenced not only by variations in learning typologies but also by fundamental conceptual foundations of learning, which include philosophical, psychological, sociological, and communicative aspects. Learning typologies visual, auditory, and kinesthetic play a significant role in determining how learners understand and respond to Arabic material. Furthermore, learning success is strongly shaped by the application of active learning principles and the learners' cognitive processes. The cognitive domain, which refers to mental abilities to think, establish associations, understand, and analyze knowledge, becomes a crucial element in optimizing language comprehension. These findings affirm that Arabic language learning will be more effective when teachers are able to integrate fundamental learning concepts and adapt teaching strategies to learners' typologies and cognitive abilities.

Hypertension is one of the main risk factors that can cause damage to target organs, including the eyes. One of the complications that often occur in hypertensive patients is hypertensive retinopathy, which is damage to retinal blood vessels due to a persistent increase in blood pressure. This damage can be progressive and asymptomatic in the early stages, so it often goes undetected until severe visual disturbances appear. This study aims to identify and analyze the role of blood pressure control in the prevention of ocular complications in hypertensive patients through a literature review. The method used is literature review by selecting national and international research articles published in 2021–2025 from the PubMed, ScienceDirect, Google Scholar, and Cochrane Library databases. Inclusion criteria include full-text articles, relevant research designs, and discussing the relationship between blood pressure control and ocular complications. The results of the study showed that uncontrolled blood pressure increased the risk of retinal damage, decreased ocular perfusion, and microvascular changes detected through funduscopy and Optical Coherence Tomography Angiography (OCTA) examinations. Some studies have concluded that stable blood pressure control, not just the average value of blood pressure, has a significant effect in preventing the progression of hypertensive retinopathy. In addition, regular eye exams have been proven to be able to detect retinal changes early, so that preventive interventions can be carried out in a timely manner. Thus, optimal blood pressure control, therapy adherence, healthy lifestyle education, and regular retinal examinations are effective strategies in preventing ocular complications and maintaining vision quality in hypertensive patients.

Research Methods and Results: This Literature Review is designed to provide an overview of sources that have been searched when researching the topic related to the efficiency of periapical radiographs for detecting supernumerary paramolar teeth. Article searches were conducted on Google Scholar, PubMed and Science Direct using predetermined keywords, namely periapical radiograph, parapremolar, and supernumerary teeth. This literature review uses literature published in 2015–2025 which can be accessed in full text in pdf format. Discussion: Clinical assessment and radiological examination are needed for the diagnosis of supernumerary paramolar teeth. The location of supernumerary teeth from radiographs is an important diagnostic complement for clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning. Conclusion: Dentists often prefer periapical radiography over panoramic radiography to evaluate oral health, especially in children, due to the low dental X-ray exposure. In many cases, patients only require periapical radiography focused on the teeth. This highlights the strong need for intelligent diagnostic techniques to improve the accuracy and efficiency of periapical radiographic analysis.

This study aims to analyze the dynamics of interfaith relations in Indonesia by integrating Social Identity Theory (SIT), Social Identity Complexity (SIC), and Pope Francis’ vision of synodality. The focus is directed toward understanding how social identity categories, overlapping identity structures, and the synodal vision of communion, participation, and mission enrich the paradigm of religious moderation in a plural society. This research employs a qualitative library research design using descriptive-analytical and content analysis techniques on identity theories, empirical findings on interfaith tolerance, and relevant Catholic Church documents. The analysis includes an exploration of the core concepts of SIT and SIC, a review of interfaith tolerance practices in Indonesian communities, and an examination of the pastoral significance of synodality as a dialogical approach. The findings indicate that religious moderation can flourish when religious communities have natural spaces of encounter, develop flexible identity intersections, and engage actively in mutual listening as emphasized in the Synod 2021–2024. In this context, synodality provides a theological and pastoral framework for cultivating inclusive, creative, and transformative interfaith relations, allowing each religious tradition to express its uniqueness while fostering fraternal harmony.

This study examines the legal protection provided to holders of Building Use Rights (HGB) on land under Management Rights (HPL) as interpreted in Supreme Court Decision No. 2160 K/Pdt/2017. The research aims to understand how civil law is applied to ensure legal certainty for HGB holders on HPL land and to strengthen insight into civil law principles used in resolving land-rights disputes. In the juridical context, land refers to the earth’s surface, while land rights are defined as authority over a specific, limited portion of that surface. Legal certainty, based on written regulations implementing the Basic Agrarian Law No. 5 of 1960, provides clarity regarding the rights and obligations of parties who own or control land. The study was conducted at the Sragen Police Resort using documentation methods—reviewing legal texts, literature, and supporting materials—along with field data obtained through interviews with relevant officers and individuals familiar with the case. The findings show that the Judex Facti of the West Java High Court made an error by declaring that no new issues required examination without giving adequate legal reasoning. The court also failed to address the objections submitted by the appellant, violating Article 50 paragraph (1) of Law No. 48 of 2009 on Judicial Power. Consequently, the Supreme Court annulled the previous decision, clarifying the legal consequences and strengthening the interpretation of HGB status on HPL land.

Plasma Cell Leukemia (PCL) is a rare lymphoproliferative disorder characterized by the proliferation of malignant plasma cells in the bone marrow and their presence in the peripheral blood. PCL is classified into primary plasma cell leukemia (pPCL), which occurs de novo without a prior history of multiple myeloma, and secondary plasma cell leukemia (sPCL), which arises in association with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma. A 58-year-old woman presented with right hip pain that had been ongoing for four months. The pain progressively worsened, limiting her ability to move her leg and eventually causing significant difficulty in walking. She also experienced bilateral lower limb weakness and an unintentional weight loss of 10 kg over the same period. The patient denied any history of trauma. Physical examination revealed pallor without signs of bruising or spontaneous bleeding. Laboratory findings showed severe anemia (Hb 6.5 g/dL), leukocytosis (24,100/µL), thrombocytopenia, an elevated erythrocyte sedimentation rate, and 25% plasma cells on peripheral blood smear. Bone marrow aspiration demonstrated 40% infiltration by plasma cells. Based on the patient’s clinical presentation, physical examination, and laboratory findings, the diagnosis is consistent with primary Plasma Cell Leukemia.
