Indonesia is a country with a high level of earthquake vulnerability, thus demanding innovation in building structural engineering that is not only safe but also environmentally friendly. In the context of sustainable development, bamboo as an abundant local material is starting to gain attention as an alternative to conventional materials. Bamboo, when processed into composites in the form of fibers or in combination with thermoplastic and thermoset polymers, has been proven to have superior mechanical properties, including tensile strength, stiffness, and resistance to chemical degradation. In addition, the characteristics of water absorption that are controlled through certain treatments make bamboo composites more competitive compared to synthetic materials. The application of bamboo composites in construction is not only limited to new materials in structural elements, but also effective in retrofitting methods. For example, recent research shows the potential of bamboo composites in strengthening reinforced concrete beams and improving the performance of frame systems in earthquake-resistant structures. In line with this, seismic design regulations and standards such as the comparison between SNI 1726:2012 and SNI 1726:2019 demonstrate the importance of adapting structural designs to local seismic conditions. The integration of bamboo composite materials with structural capacity analysis, numerical simulation, and pushover analysis methods has yielded promising results for improving building resilience to dynamic loads. Beyond technical aspects, this approach also supports environmental objectives. Several studies have even developed eco-friendly home prototypes utilizing innovative material combinations, including geopolymer blocks and natural fibers. Thus, the use of bamboo composites not only provides a technical solution to earthquake challenges but also contributes to global efforts to reduce the carbon footprint of the construction sector.

Anaemia is a common issue during pregnancy, affecting not only pregnant women but also their foetuses and the birth process. Pregnant women are considered anaemic if their haemoglobin (Hb) levels fall below 11 g/dL, with a higher prevalence observed in the third trimester. One contributing factor to anaemia during pregnancy is tea consumption, as tea contains tannin compounds that can inhibit iron absorption. This study aims to investigate the correlation between tea consumption and the incidence of anaemia in pregnant women during the third trimester. An analytical observational research design with a cross-sectional approach was employed. The study was conducted among pregnant women in the third trimester at the Ngaliyan Health Centre from November to December 2023, with a total sample of 55 participants selected through purposive sampling. Data were analysed using both univariate and bivariate methods. The results revealed a significant relationship between tea consumption and the incidence of anaemia, with a p-value of 0.003 (p < 0.005). These findings suggest that tea consumption is associated with an increased risk of anaemia in pregnant women during the third trimester.

A nil sentence is very appropriate to apply to defendants whose verdict is sentenced to death, such as in the case of Muhammad Natsir and Heru Hidayat. However, the Dimas Kanjeng case certainly raises a different problem, where the panel of judges imposed a maximum prison sentence of 20 years, so if there are other cases the verdict must be nil. This means that the defendant, who was previously sentenced to 20 years in prison, was not increased to life imprisonment. Another problem is the lack of integrated administration between courts which results in overlapping criminal sanctions that exceed 20 years. Tstelsel's absorption in a sharpened realist concursus states that it is necessary to review the level between crimes that have permanent legal force and crimes that have just been revealed based on higher criminal threats, so that the implementation of a nil sentence achieves the principles of legal certainty, justice and expediency. The implementation of the nil sentence must be socialized to the wider community, especially in the case of Dimas Kanjeng and Muhammad Natsir, who in their decision were sentenced to a nil sentence because they had previously been sentenced to death. The aim of the outreach is to ensure that there is no misunderstanding of the defendant's release from criminal sanctions, because a zero verdict arises because the verdict has been maximum and can no longer be handed down. Judges need to interpret in more depth the basic reasons for giving a nil verdict which is linked to SEMA No. 1 of 2022 to better ensure justice and benefits for society, which of course is adjusted to the legal facts obtained during the trial period.
