The promotion and marketing efforts by the Tourism Office of Karimun Regency aim to introduce and effectively promote local tourist destinations to both domestic and international visitors. According to a previous study by Andriani (2020), the development of tourist sites in Karimun Regency has not yet been fully realized by the local government. This research aims to reexamine and optimize Karimun's tourism potential through programs implemented by the Tourism Office, supporting local economic changes. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, gathering data through interviews with informants, field notes, and relevant official documents. It focuses on examining the promotion strategies carried out by the Tourism Office to increase tourist visits. Based on Kooten's theory, there are four strategic indicators: organizational strategy, program organization, resource support strategy, and institutional strategy. The research results show that all strategic indicators have been implemented well in accordance with funding from the center, providing a positive impact on the development of tourist destinations and increasing the number of tourists who come to visit tourist attractions in Karimun district. However, if funding is not in accordance with the annual plan, the program that has been prepared by the marketing and promotion division will have an impact, hampering efforts to increase tourist visits from both inside and outside Karimun Regency.

The Asahan River in North Sumatra holds significant potential as an ecotourism destination for whitewater rafting, featuring Class IV-V+ rapids that attract both domestic and international tourists. This study aims to analyze the potential and development strategies for ecotourism in the Asahan River using the Ecotourism Opportunity Spectrum (ECOS) approach with the addition of a socio-economic sustainability variable. This approach evaluates seven key components: accessibility, attractions, infrastructure, social interaction, skill and knowledge levels, related resources, and visitor impact. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation, and analyzed using a descriptive qualitative method. The results indicate that the Asahan River is classified as an Eco Specialist, with high natural appeal but requiring improvements in accessibility and community participation. Socio-economic sustainability assessments reveal that economic benefits are not evenly distributed, and local community involvement in tourism management remains low. Proposed strategies include improving infrastructure, training local communities, digital promotion, and strengthening stakeholder collaboration to establish a sustainable tourism destination.

Bali is a renowned tourist destination that attracts visitors from around the world, particularly for its natural beauty, rich culture, and delicious cuisine. The increasing number of tourists in Bali has driven rapid growth in the culinary industry. In Denpasar City, selecting the right location is a key factor for the success of culinary businesses, as each location has different characteristics and potentials. This study employs the Multiple Attribute Decision Making (MADM) model, combining the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) and Technique for Orders Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) methods, to determine the optimal location for culinary businesses in Denpasar City. Data were collected through surveys of 154 culinary business owners, considering eight criteria: Accessibility, Visibility, Traffic, Facilities, Expansion, Environment, Competition, and Regulations. The study's findings indicate that both SAW and TOPSIS methods identify high population density areas as the best choice. The SAW and TOPSIS method provides the highest preference value of 0,8815 and 0.7082 respectively, making it the more effective method for recommending optimal culinary locations in Denpasar City.

Pragmatics can generally be defined as the study of language use in context. This means that someone can be said to have pragmatic skills if they can use language in context appropriately. The students who are currently studying at SMA Fonts Vitae 1 Jakarta are teenagers who are included in the Alpha generation. The Alpha generation's exposure to English and technology makes them quickly rich in information. Therefore, providing English language skills, especially pragmatic skills to the Alpha generation, is very important. This pragmatic skill is important to be taught to students in Indonesia so that they can negotiate with partners from abroad, and welcome foreign tourists without misunderstanding. In the 'Community Service' (ABDIMAS) activity that featured the writer, the presentation and training on negotiation took place at SMA Fonts Vitae 1, Jakarta. The results of the activity showed that the participants were fluent in conversing in English (fluent), but in the negotiation stage participants still experienced obstacles in the crunch time phase. Participants needed time to reach an agreement because the negotiations they conducted focused on the goal of 'defeating' the opponent's argument. Thus, it is important for teachers not only to focus on fluency in speaking but also to train sensitivity to be able to reach a mutual agreement.

This research aims to identify factors that influence tourists' interest in revisiting the Aslan Hill natural tourist attraction. The methodology used is to use a quantitative approach with data obtained from the results of questionnaires that have been distributed to the sample (research respondents) totaling 96 people. Through quantitative analysis with the help of Smart PLS software. 4, this study found that although the three independent variables (tourism facilities, price perception, and destination image) had a positive relationship with revisit intention, only price perception and destination image had a statistically significant influence. Apart from that, this research also confirms that the mediating variable is visitor satisfaction in the relationship between price perception and destination image and interest in visiting again, where satisfaction cannot mediate the influence of tourist facilities on interest in visiting again, while satisfaction can mediate the relationship between price perception and destination image on interest in visiting. return to the Aslan Hill Nature tourist attraction. The practical implication of this research is that it is important for natural tourism destination managers to not only focus on developing physical facilities, but also on efforts to build positive perceptions about the value offered and maintain consistent service quality to achieve visitor satisfaction.

The growth of the internet has influenced the tourism industry because the internet makes it easier for individuals to obtain reviews about places to visit and because the internet is a tool used by tourist site managers to assess the quality of their offerings. The increase in the number of tourists of almost two million in just three years in West Sumba is proof of this influence. Social media is a tool that people use to interact with each other online; some people have multiple accounts on platforms such as Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram, Twitter, and so on. Tourists can receive recommendations for tourist attractions based on price and type of trip desired through a tourist attraction recommendation system that uses the KNN algorithm. Three factors were used in this research: activity, type of tourism, and type of price. An accuracy of 63.16% is found in the test results using the KNN algorithm and the Rapid Miner application with a K value of 5. The analysis results show that the K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) approach can be used as a guideline for recommending tourist destinations to visitors in West Sumba.
