Profit growth is the rate of increase in profit obtained by a company. Profit growth is an important factor in assessing a company's financial performance. This study aims to examine the effect of financial ratios on profit growth in infrastructure sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2019-2022. The research sample used was 20 companies with 80 observation samples. The financial ratios used are liquidity, solvency, profitability, and activity ratios. These financial ratios are proxied by the Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Return on Assets (ROA), and Total Asset Turnover (TAT), respectively. Testing was carried out using multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, it is known that the profitability ratio proxied by Return on Assets (ROA) has a positive effect on profit growth and the activity ratio proxied by Total Asset Turnover (TAT) has a negative effect on profit growth. Other results, namely the liquidity ratio proxied by the Current Ratio (CR) and the solvency ratio proxied by the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) have no effect on profit growth. These results mean that the profitability ratio and activity ratio can be determinants of profit growth predictors and can be a reference for investors to make investment decisions.

Nindy Pertiwi, 2024. "Analysis of Financial Statements as a Basis for Evaluating Financial Performance: A Case Study of PT. Artha Lestari Engineering." Supervised by Johanis dan Meldilians NJ Lenas. This study aims to analyze financial statements to assess the financial performance of PT. Artha Lestari Engineering. Data were collected from PT. Artha Lestari Engineering's financial statements for the period 2019-2023 using a financial ratio analysis approach. The results of the ratio analysis reveal that the liquidity ratio initially experienced a significant decline but improved in the final year. Although the liquidity ratio remains high, the initial decline indicates challenges in liquidity management. The solvency ratios remain low, indicating a reliance on equity rather than debt, with fluctuations in these ratios reflecting the stability of this reliance. Activity ratios show stability with slight decreases, while Inventory Turnover and Receivable Turnover experienced fluctuations and declines, respectively. Profitability performance increased significantly, reflecting improvements in operational efficiency and profitability during the study period.

The type of data used in this research is descriptive quantitative. and the data source of data in this study is primary data, namely data collected and obtained by researchers directly either in the form of reports, documents, and interviews. This study uses financial ratio analysis techniques in the form of profitability ratios and liquidity ratios. The results showed that the financial performance analysis at PT Silvia Maindo SPBU 74.90209 Makassar as measured by the profitability ratio with indicators of GPM, NPM, ROA and ROE has increased every year which shows that the company PT Silvia Maindo SPBU 74.90209 Makassar is able to generate profits for the company. While the financial performance as measured by the liquidity ratio with the Current Ratio, Quick Ratio and Cash Ratio indicators shows that it is quite good even though it has decreased every year, the company PT Sailvia Maindo SPBU 74.90209 Makassar still shows the success of management in covering current debt by using liquid cash.

This research is motivated by a decrease in the Liquidity Ratio in cash and cash equivalents due to an increase in investment acquisition and purchase of fixed assets which will cause depreciation expenses in the coming years to be greater which will directly reduce the company's profit. The Solvency Ratio has increased due to an increase in debt which will directly increase interest expenses, so it must be covered from operating profit. The Profitability Ratio has decreased in current year profit because the increasing amount of expenses will reduce net profit. The Activity Ratio has decreased inventory turnover due to decreased sales which has resulted in an increase in the amount of inventory. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Liquidity, Solvency, Profitability and Activity on Financial Performance at PT. Adi Sarana Armada Tbk. which is listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive method, the data in this study uses secondary data. Based on the results of the study, it shows that Liquidity ratio using Current Ratio has a partial positive effect on Financial Performance with Good criteria, this shows the company's ability to pay short-term obligations. Solvency ratio using Debt To Equity Ratio does not have a partial effect on Financial Performance with Poor criteria, this shows the company's inability to meet long-term obligations because risk assessment is ineffective, resulting in a greater risk of loss. Profitability ratio using Return On Asset does not have a partial effect on Financial Performance with Poor criteria, this shows that it is inefficient in using its assets to generate profits and ineffectiveness in accounts receivable turnover so that the small capital invested. Activity ratio using Total Asset Turn Over has a partial positive effect on Financial Performance with Very Good criteria, this shows the company's ability to utilize its assets to generate income.

Investment in Indonesia decreased by 1.94 percent from 2019 to 2020. The decline in investment demand makes (assuming a fixed supply) stock prices decline which also has an impact on company value. Firm value is an important factor for investors before making an investment because firm value reflects the amount of return from the company to investors. This study aims to analyze the effect of profitability proxied by ROA and GPM, liquidity proxied by CR, solvency proxied by DER and company size on firm value using IBM SPSS Statistic 26.0 for Windows software. In this study, data were collected from all Food and Beverage sub-sector companies listed on the IDX from 2020 to 2022 by taking into account the completeness of the data during the study period. The purposive sampling techique was applied to obtain 24 companies as research sample. This study uses multiple regression as data analysis method carried out by the coefficient of determination test and hypothesis testing. The result showed that profitability proxied by ROA affects firm value with a significance level of 0.006. However, profitability proxied by GPM, liquidity proxied by CR, solvency proxied by DER and company size have no effect on firm value.

This study aims to critically analyze how accounting policies implemented in insurance companies contribute to effective risk management and overall financial stability. As the business environment becomes increasingly complex and competitive, insurance firms must adopt robust accounting policies that not only facilitate accurate financial reporting but also enhance their ability to identify, assess, and manage various risks. By employing a mixed-methods approach that integrates both qualitative and quantitative data, this research will explore the intricate relationships between accounting policies, risk management strategies, and their subsequent impact on the financial performance of insurance companies. The study will first provide a theoretical framework that outlines the significance of sound accounting practices in the context of risk management. It will then delve into empirical analysis through case studies of selected insurance companies, assessing how their accounting policies influence risk assessment and mitigation processes. Data will be collected via surveys and interviews with key stakeholders, including financial managers, risk officers, and auditors, to gather insights on the effectiveness of these policies in practice. Furthermore, this research will evaluate the correlation between specific accounting practices and key performance indicators, such as profitability, solvency, and liquidity ratios. By identifying best practices and potential areas for improvement, the study aims to offer practical recommendations that can enhance the alignment between accounting policies and risk management efforts. Ultimately, this research seeks to contribute to the existing literature on accounting and risk management in the insurance sector, providing valuable insights that can inform policy formulation and strategic decision-making within the industry. This research aims to analyze the influence of liquidity, ownership structure, leverage, and Return On Assets (ROA) on dividend policy in companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) for the 2021-2023 period. Dividend policy is an important decision for a company in determining the allocation of profits that will be distributed to shareholders and those that will be retained for investment purposes. Liquidity reflects a company's ability to meet short-term obligations, while ownership structure highlights the role of shareholders and managers in decision making. Leverage, which indicates the use of debt in financing, and ROA, as an indicator of profitability, are also considered important factors influencing dividend policy. This research differs from previous research with the addition of leverage variables as well as differences in population, sample and research period. It is hoped that the results of this research will provide a more comprehensive understanding of the factors that influence dividend policy and its implications for company value.

This research aims to analyze the influence of cash management and inventory management on the financial performance of Ling Food Stores in Makassar City during the 2020-2022 period. The main focus of this research is to evaluate how cash and inventory management contributes to a company's liquidity, profitability and operational efficiency, which are measured through various financial ratios such as Current Ratio, Gross Profit Margin (GPM), Operating Profit Margin (OPM), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return on Investment (ROI), and Return on Equity (ROE). The research results show that the Current Ratio in 2020 cannot be calculated due to the absence of short-term liabilities, while in 2021 and 2022 each was recorded at 0.095% and 0.216%, reflecting low liquidity. On the other hand, the decrease in Average Inventory from IDR 754,200 in 2021 to IDR 715,000 in 2022, followed by a significant increase in net profit, shows efficiency in inventory management. The increase in GPM, OPM, NPM, ROI, and ROE ratios from 2020 to 2022 reflects significant improvements in financial performance, indicating that more effective cash and inventory management can improve a company's financial health.

This study aims to analyze and compare the financial performance of Islamic banks and conventional banks in Indonesia using library research methods. Data sources come from related literature such as scientific journals, articles, previous research reports, and relevant online sources. Bank financial performance is measured through several ratios including capital ratio (CAR), asset quality (NPL), liquidity (LDR), profitability (ROA and ROE), and efficiency (BOPO) which are calculated based on the bank's financial statements. The results of the analysis show that in general the financial performance of both types of banks is in a healthy condition and meets regulatory standards. However, there are differences in performance in several ratios individually. Conventional banks tend to have better performance in CAR, NPL, BOPO, and ROA ratios, indicating better capital quality, assets, operating costs, and profitability. Meanwhile, Islamic banks show better liquidity performance (LDR) and asset growth. However, the difference in performance is not yet fully statistically significant. In general, the financial performance of conventional banks is superior. However, the performance of Islamic banks also experienced an annual increase. To improve competitiveness, Islamic banks need to continue to make improvements, especially in terms of capital, cost management, credit quality, and increasing fee-based products. Both types of banks have developed and operated harmoniously without causing significant financial turmoil. The results of the study are expected to provide a stronger picture of the comparison of the financial performance of Islamic and conventional banks in Indonesia.

This research is motivated by the drastic decline in stock prices of technology companies in 2022, which reflects heavy financial pressure and deteriorating financial performance until June 2023. This condition raises the potential risk of financial crisis or financial distress. This study aims to examine the effect of cash flow operating, leverage, liquidity, and profitability on financial risk in technology subsector manufacturing companies listed on the IDX during the 2020-2023 period. A quantitative approach with secondary data of company financial reports that have been audited and published by the IDX is used in this study. The purposive sampling technique was applied to select 19 companies as samples from a total of 49 companies. Data analysis was performed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with Smart PLS software. The results of this study indicate that cash flow operating has no significant effect on financial distress (p> 0.05). In contrast, leverage has a significant positive effect (p < 0.05), while liquidity (current ratio) and profitability (ROA) have a significant negative effect on financial distress (p < 0.05). High leverage increases financial risk, while high liquidity and profitability can reduce the risk of financial distress in technology companies.
