Polygamy remains a controversial issue in Indonesia, involving legal, religious, and social dimensions. This study aims to analyze the social, psychological, and economic impacts of polygamy on wives and children. Using a qualitative library research approach, the study examines primary sources, including Law Number 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage and the Compilation of Islamic Law, as well as relevant scientific literature and journal articles. The findings indicate that although Indonesian law permits polygamy under strict conditions, such as the wife's consent and the husband's ability to act fairly, these requirements are often difficult to fulfill in practice. Psychologically, wives frequently experience jealousy, emotional stress, depression, and feelings of injustice. Economically, polygamy may lead to the division of family resources, reducing the welfare of wives and children. Children may also experience emotional difficulties due to limited parental attention, conflicts among siblings, and social stigma. These impacts can affect family harmony and child development. Therefore, stronger legal supervision and public education are needed to ensure the protection of women's and children's rights and to minimize the negative consequences of irresponsible polygamous practices.

Digital transformation through the Electronic-Based Government Sistem (SPBE) requires public institutions to optimize services through information sistems, yet technical obstacles are frequently encountered in practice. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the INLISLite application in book lending services at the Sidoarjo Library and Archives Service and to identify barriers to data integration between the head office and outdoor services. The research method employed is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques involving observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that while the implementation of INLISLite has improved circulation efficiency at the head office, mobile library services still face significant constraints due to limited internet connectivity. This condition forces field officers to rely on manual recording, which triggers a double-entry data phenomenon upon returning to the head office, thereby delaying real-time book stock synchronization and increasing the risk of human error. In conclusion, the effectiveness of the information sistem has not yet reached all service units harmoniously. The researcher suggests the need to strengthen network infrastructure in mobile library operational areas and to develop sistem modules that support periodic data synchronization modes to ensure data accountability and more responsive public service quality in Sidoarjo Regency.

This research reconstructs the concept of the ideal human being in Aristotelian philosophy and formulates its implications for contemporary character education. The study is grounded in modern educational challenges that require not only intellectual mastery but also the cultivation of complete character based on virtue. Using library research with a hermeneutic approach, this study critically interprets Aristotle’s key concepts, particularly eudaimonia, phronesis, and virtue ethics, and contextualizes them within current educational needs. Data were collected from relevant primary and secondary literature and analyzed through thematic and conceptual analysis to identify the relationship between Aristotelian ideas and character education. The findings show that the ideal human being, according to Aristotle, is one who achieves eudaimonia through the balanced development of moral and intellectual virtues, guided by phronesis as practical wisdom. Education is therefore understood as a gradual process of character formation through habituation, experience, role modeling, reflection, and ethical deliberation. This study proposes five strategies for Aristotelian character education: virtue habituation, experiential learning, educator role modeling, ethical deliberation, and context-based integral education. The study contributes a virtue-based educational model that emphasizes wisdom, responsibility, virtue, and the realization of the good life within society.

This study aims to analyze people's online shopping behavior and assess its impact on family economic conditions. The development of digital technology has transformed people's consumption habits, particularly in shopping activities, which are now increasingly practical through online platforms. Easy access, product diversity, and various payment options have made online shopping a dominant trend. However, this convenience also has the potential to foster consumer behavior that impacts financial stability. This study aims to analyze bold shopping patterns and their impact on household financial conditions. The approach used is descriptive qualitative library research, collecting and analyzing data from various scientific journals, articles, and related references. The study findings indicate that online shopping has diverse effects: on the one hand, it offers time and cost savings, but on the other hand, it can lead to waste and indiscipline in family budget management if not supported by adequate self-control. Therefore, an understanding of financial management and digital literacy is crucial to ensure optimal use of technology without harming family economic well-being. Furthermore, this phenomenon requires synergy between digital platform policies and consumer education to mitigate the risk of impulsive buying. This research confirms that psychological factors often outweigh objective needs in digital transactions. As a recommendation, adaptive financial management support strategies are needed for families in this era of disruption to maintain domestic economic resilience against the pressures of a modern lifestyle.

This study focuses on the historical dynamics of the Qur’anic revelation process to examine in greater depth the relationship between the gradual nature of the revelation process and the social conditions of Arab society, particularly during the Mecca and Medina periods. The method used in this study is library research, utilizing sources such as scientific journals, books, and articles relevant to the research topic. The findings indicate that revelation was received gradually over 23 years, in accordance with the development of Islamic da’wah and the social dynamics of the time. During the Mecca period, the revelations focused on the teachings of tawhid, creed, and ethics, as Arab society was still in a state of jahiliyyah. In the Medina period, the focus shifted to the rituals of worship and Islamic law as the Islamic community in Medina grew. Furthermore, some verses of the Qur’an were revealed in response to issues within society. This indicates a connection between revelation and the socio-historical context during the process of revelation. A deeper understanding of the process of revelation requires further study, and this research is expected to provide a more profound understanding of the Qur’anic revelation process through a historical approach.

This study aims to comprehensively examine the concept of intention and the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah in prayer from the perspective of the four imams of the schools of jurisprudence: Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi’i, and Hanbali. The background of this study is based on the existence of differing opinions among scholars, which often cause confusion among the public regarding the correct practice of prayer. The method used is qualitative research in the form of a literature review (library research), through data collection from classical fiqh texts, scientific journals, and other relevant literature. The data analysis technique employs a descriptive-comparative approach to identify the similarities and differences in the views of each school of thought. The results of the study indicate that all schools of thought agree that intention is an act of the heart that constitutes a valid condition for prayer, yet they differ regarding the timing of its performance and its verbalization. Regarding the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, the Shafi’i school mandates it as a pillar in every rak’ah, whereas the Hanafi school does not consider it a pillar. The Maliki and Hanbali schools adopt a moderate stance by granting leniency under certain conditions. These differences reflect the richness of Islamic jurisprudence, which is dynamic and flexible. This study is expected to provide a more comprehensive understanding and foster an attitude of tolerance in addressing differences in worship practices.

The practice of adulterating RON 92 (Pertamax) fuel has the potential to violate consumer rights and is contrary to applicable laws and regulations. The practice of mixing lower-quality fuel and then marketing it as RON 92 results in material and immaterial losses for users, including reduced vehicle performance and a loss of trust in business operators. This research aims to analyze the legal protections available to consumers regarding the practice of adulterating fuel based on Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection and related provisions in Law Number 22 of 2001 concerning Oil and Gas. The research method used is normative legal research with a library research approach, through analysis of relevant laws and regulations, scientific literature, and secondary legal sources. The results indicate that the practice of adulterating fuel violates consumers' rights to comfort, security, safety, and accurate information as stipulated in Article 4 of the Consumer Protection Law, and violates the obligations of business actors as stipulated in Articles 7 and 8 of the Consumer Protection Law. Business actors can be held accountable for civil damages, dispute resolution through the Consumer Dispute Resolution Agency (BPSK), or subject to administrative and criminal sanctions in accordance with the Oil and Gas Law. Therefore, legal protection for consumers in cases of fuel adulteration requires an interconnectedness between effective government oversight, firm law enforcement, business actor accountability, and increased consumer legal awareness to ensure legal certainty and fairness in trade activities.

This study addresses the problem of how the values of akhlaqul karimah (noble character) contained in Bakr bin ‘Abdullah Abu Zaid’s Ḥilyatu Ṭālib al-‘Ilmi can be internalized within the framework of Islamic philosophy of education. The significance of this topic lies in the urgent need to strengthen character education in Islamic institutions in the digital era, where the erosion of moral values is increasingly evident. The objective of the research is to examine the integration of Ḥilyatu Ṭālib al-‘Ilmi’s values with the fundamental concepts of Islamic philosophy of education, offering both theoretical enrichment and practical guidance for contemporary Islamic education. This study employs a qualitative library research approach, analyzing primary sources (the book itself and classical references) and secondary literature through philosophical-hermeneutical analysis. The findings reveal that the book emphasizes key virtues such as sincerity, humility, perseverance, discipline, respect for teachers, and intellectual selectivity. These align with the ontological view of humans as rational and moral beings, the epistemological principle that knowledge is acquired through both revelation and disciplined inquiry, and the axiological aim of forming socially responsible and ethically upright individuals. The study concludes that internalizing Abu Zaid’s adab framework provides a timeless model for Islamic character education. Theoretically, it enriches the discourse on Islamic educational philosophy by bridging classical wisdom with contemporary challenges; practically, it offers actionable guidance for educators, students, and institutions in nurturing morally grounded and intellectually robust learners.

This research focuses on the stylistic analysis of the balaghah poems Tughat Al-Ard and Hadzihi Al-Ardu Liljami' by Anis Shaushan. These two poems illustrate the role of literature as a medium and a resistance against injustice. The research focuses on Thibaq and Jinas in the balaghah in Anis Shaushan's two poems. Thibaq and Jinas are not merely rhetorical ornaments that beautify the language, but also serve to reinforce meaning, affirm moral values, and convey the message contained in the literary work. This study aims to identify the types of Thibaq and Jinas styles in Anis Shaushan's two poems and explain their function in beautifying the style and strengthening the meaning. This study uses a qualitative approach with library research methods. Data were obtained through documentation studies of poetry texts and classical balaghah literature. They were then analyzed using content analysis to systematically identify and interpret the forms and styles of language. The results show that in Anis Shaushan's two poems, six stanzas contain Thibaq and twelve stanzas contain Jinas. The types of thibaq used include thibaq ijabi and thibaq salbi, while the jinas found are all jinas naqis. The use of thibaq serves to highlight the conflict between tyranny and humanity and strengthens the moral message the poet wants to convey. Meanwhile, jinas is utilized to create beautiful sound, rhythm, and emotional emphasis that deepen the meaning of the poem. These two styles of language are not only aesthetic elements, but also play an important role in emphasizing the values of humanity, justice, and resistance to tyranny through the power of beautiful and meaningful language. The researcher hopes that the results of this study can complement existing studies and become a foundation for further research so that it can be developed better and more in-depth in the future.

Global economic uncertainty and exchange rate fluctuations pose significant challenges to monetary stability in Indonesia, particularly in maintaining a controlled inflation rate. This study aims to analyze the transmission mechanism of the rupiah exchange rate to the inflation rate in Indonesia from 2015 to 2024. The method used in this study is library research by collecting, reviewing, and synthesizing data from various scientific literature, official central bank reports, and related journal articles published over the past decade. The research findings indicate that rupiah depreciation has a significant influence on rising inflation through the imported inflation channel, where currency depreciation increases the cost of raw materials for industries dependent on foreign markets. Furthermore, the findings reveal that the effectiveness of this transmission is influenced by public expectations and monetary policy taken by Bank Indonesia through adjustments to the benchmark interest rate. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of synergy between a stable exchange rate policy and controlling the supply of domestic goods to minimize the impact of external shocks on public purchasing power. The government and monetary authorities are advised to continue strengthening foreign exchange reserves and encouraging the use of local currencies in international transactions to reduce dependence on the United States dollar and maintain national price stability.

This study aims to analyze the concepts of leadership and Islamic educational policy and their relationship to improving the quality of education. The study employed a qualitative approach with library research, drawing on relevant books, scientific journals, and official documents. Data collection was conducted through documentation studies, while data analysis employed content analysis. The results indicate that Islamic educational leadership is a key factor in the success of educational institutions. Leadership is not only defined as the ability to influence and direct, but also as a mandate that carries moral and spiritual responsibility. Furthermore, Islamic educational policy serves as a strategic instrument in directing the implementation of education to align with established goals. This policy is not merely administrative in nature but also embodies normative Islamic values oriented toward the development of character, spirituality, and intellectual development of students. Leadership and Islamic educational policy have a complementary relationship. Effective leadership will result in appropriate and implementable policies, while good policies require strong leadership to ensure optimal implementation. Therefore, strengthening leadership and developing adaptive and sustainable Islamic educational policies are crucial steps in realizing quality Islamic education.
