This community service program aims to enhance the literacy skills of the elderly in Wonosari Village, Grujugan, Bondowoso, by teaching them how to read and write the alphabet. Literacy, particularly reading and writing, is an essential skill for every individual, yet it remains a challenge for many elderly people in rural areas due to limited access to education during their younger years. Through the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, which focuses on utilizing the community's existing assets, this program successfully engaged elderly participants in a structured learning process. The elderly were taught to read and write the alphabet over seven sessions, leading to increased self-confidence and independence in their daily lives. The program not only improved their literacy but also fostered greater social inclusion and community participation. This initiative demonstrates that with the right approach and support, the elderly can continue to develop and contribute to their community.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the management of educational facilities and infrastructure and its contribution to increasing the effectiveness of learning at SMPI Darul Ulum Sangatta Utara. The research background is based on the importance of the role of facilities and infrastructure in supporting an optimal, effective, and meaningful learning process. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, where data is obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation of school principals, teachers, and education staff. Data analysis is carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the management of facilities and infrastructure at SMPI Darul Ulum Sangatta Utara has been carried out through five main stages, namely planning, procurement, utilization, maintenance, and evaluation. The implementation of this management is quite effective because it actively and continuously involves all school residents, especially in routine maintenance activities and the use of learning facilities. The existence of adequate facilities such as classrooms, laboratories, and information technology devices has been proven to increase student learning motivation and encourage the creation of a conducive learning atmosphere. However, some obstacles are still found, such as budget limitations and the need to update props that are no longer suitable for use. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of strategic planning and continuous evaluation in the management of facilities and infrastructure in order to continue to support the improvement of learning effectiveness, especially in the pesantren-based school environment.

Active learning strategies are considered one of the most effective approaches in creating meaningful, participatory learning processes that enhance students’ intrinsic motivation. In the context of Fiqh learning, the implementation of active learning strategies plays a crucial role because Fiqh not only requires cognitive understanding but also involves strengthening attitudes and internalizing religious values. Traditional teacher-centered learning methods often lead to passive participation, boredom, and a lack of motivation among students. Therefore, the use of active learning strategies—such as group discussions, simulations, problem-solving activities, and experiential learning—can encourage students to participate more actively, think critically, and develop a stronger motivation to achieve better learning outcomes. This study aims to describe how active learning strategies can improve students’ motivation in Fiqh subjects. The analysis shows that engaging students directly in learning activities increases their attention, interest, and sense of responsibility in understanding the material. Additionally, two-way interactions between teachers and students create a more dynamic and enjoyable learning atmosphere. Thus, active learning strategies serve as a relevant and effective approach to enhancing learning motivation and improving the overall quality of Fiqh education.

Optimizing education management in schools is a strategic step to achieve superior education quality, where various aspects such as human resource development, utilization of facilities and infrastructure, and education supervision play an important role in creating a conducive learning environment and responsive to student needs. The purpose of this study is to examine more deeply the role of education management in realizing quality schools. The research method to be used in this study is a literature study approach, in which data and information will be collected from various academic sources, such as books, journals and relevant articles on education management and quality schools. The results of this study show that effective education management plays a key role in creating quality schools through key components such as human resources, facilities and infrastructure, finance and education supervision. Each of these components works synergistically to support optimal learning processes, although they often face challenges such as limited resources, resistance to change and lack of stakeholder support. Through collaborative strategies from various parties, including the government, community and parents, schools can overcome these obstacles. Optimizing education management complemented by educational supervision helps improve the professional quality of teachers, curriculum and school management, and builds a culture of continuous evaluation. This synergy results in schools that are qualified, adaptive and able to respond to the demands of today's education.

The research that has been conducted is entitled "The Effect of the Outdoor Learning Method on the Ability to Write Descriptive Writing of Class IV Students at MIS YPI Batang Kuis" and is based on the phenomenon that the ability to write is still very limited, especially writing descriptive essays. In this case, it can result in student creativity not being able to develop optimally and find it difficult to find new ideas or ideas in the learning process. The research methodology used quantitative research quasi experiment design. The population in this study were all grade IV students of MIS YPI Batang Kuis consisting of IV A and IV B totalling 47 students. The sampling technique was carried out by Non Probability Sampling, through the form of total sampling (Boring Sampling). That is, choosing a sample with all the population being sampled and the population can only be two classes. This research instrument is in the form of a description essay writing test and documentation. Data processing tools use data requirement tests and t tests. The results of the study revealed that (1) the average pre-test of the experimental class was 65.09 while the average pretest of the control class was 64.21, (2) the average posttest of the experimental class after being given treatment in the form of learning using outdoor learning methods was obtained at 83.12 while the average posttest of the control class was given treatment in the form of conventional learning obtained an average of 72.54 Thus it can be concluded that the average posttest of the experimental class is higher than the average posttest of the control class. (3) The results of the t test calculation obtained tcount greater than ttable (2.915> 2.074), so it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Based on the research findings above, it follows that the use of outdoor learning methods in the learning process has an effect on the ability to write descriptive essays in class IV YPI Batang Kuis School Year 2023/2024.

This study aims to enhance the competence of RA/TK/PAUD teachers in teaching basic Arabic through training based on the digital application Google Classroom in Desa Kembang, Pacitan Regency in 2024. The training was designed as an interactive learning medium that allows teachers to access, manage, and deliver materials online, while also monitoring student progress. The research employed a Community Service (PKM) approach with data collection through observation, questionnaires, and documentation of teaching practices. The results indicate that the training improved teachers’ ability to create virtual classes, assign tasks, utilize discussion forums, and deliver Arabic language materials interactively. Teachers became more confident and creative in developing learning modules, while student engagement increased through digital interaction and multimedia materials. Nevertheless, challenges related to teachers’ digital literacy and internet connectivity need to be addressed for long-term implementation effectiveness. The study confirms that integrating Google Classroom as a learning medium can strengthen the basic Arabic learning process at the PAUD level, while also promoting the development of interactive and easily accessible digital learning modules. These findings can serve as a reference for other educational institutions in implementing digital learning for early childhood education.
