Psychological violence against children remains a critical issue that is often overlooked because it does not leave visible physical injuries, yet its long-term consequences can significantly hinder children’s emotional, social, and academic development. Addressing this problem requires not only legal and institutional measures but also preventive efforts at the family and community levels. The Community Service Program (KKN) entitled “Safe Home Supporting Child Development” in Desa Nusawungu was designed as a community-based educational initiative to raise parents’ awareness of the importance of creating an emotionally safe home environment. The program was implemented through the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) method, which integrated structured material presentations, individual reflections using digital forms, and interactive group discussions. This combination allowed participants to gain knowledge, critically reflect on their own parenting practices, and share experiences with peers. The results revealed a notable increase in parents’ awareness of the detrimental effects of psychological violence on children’s well-being, their readiness to adopt positive parenting strategies, and their ability to identify challenges commonly faced in daily child-rearing practices. Moreover, participants expressed enthusiasm for sustaining similar activities in the future, highlighting the importance of continuous learning and the establishment of a parent learning community. The program demonstrated that simple, low-cost, and locally adapted interventions can effectively enhance parenting literacy, reduce the risk of psychological violence, and strengthen the developmental foundation of children during their golden age. These findings suggest that empowering parents through participatory education can serve as a replicable model for other communities facing similar challenges, thus contributing to the broader goal of ensuring children’s rights to grow in a safe and nurturing environment.

Turnover intention is widely recognized as one of the earliest indicators of potential employee resignation, which in turn can generate considerable organizational challenges such as increased operational costs, the erosion of organizational knowledge, and declining productivity levels. While a significant body of international research has explored the antecedents of turnover intention, studies that specifically provide a narrative synthesis within the Indonesian workforce context remain scarce. Recognizing this gap, the present study seeks to identify the dominant factors that influence turnover intention in Indonesia by conducting a narrative literature review. The review focused on nine selected articles published between 2018 and 2023 in nationally indexed journals. To ensure rigor, the selection was based on predefined criteria: the articles had to employ empirical designs involving full-time employees, apply quantitative research methodologies, and explicitly examine the relationships between independent variables and turnover intention. The data extracted from the studies were analyzed thematically to identify recurring patterns and dominant themes. The analysis revealed four key factors that consistently shaped turnover intention across the reviewed literature. First, job stress was found to be a critical determinant, where prolonged work pressure and role overload significantly increased employees’ desire to leave. Second, job satisfaction emerged as a central variable, with dissatisfaction related to compensation, recognition, and career development strongly linked to turnover intention. Third, leadership style played an important role, as authoritarian or unsupportive leadership approaches heightened employees’ intention to resign. Finally, the leader’s role in fostering workplace relationships and support systems was identified as a factor influencing employee attachment and loyalty. In conclusion, this study contributes theoretically by mapping the dominant factors of turnover intention within the Indonesian context and highlights their interconnections.

Coffee is a leading commodity in Indonesia's agricultural sector, possessing high economic value and providing a livelihood for many farmers. However, coffee plant productivity often declines significantly due to various diseases affecting the leaves, stems, and berries. This situation is exacerbated by the lack of knowledge among most farmers in recognizing early disease symptoms, resulting in delayed treatment. Consequently, crop losses are unavoidable. Based on these challenges, this study aims to design and build an expert system capable of diagnosing coffee plant diseases quickly, precisely, and accurately using the Bayesian Theorem method. This method was chosen because it can calculate the probability of a disease occurring based on observed symptoms in plants. The Bayesian approach allows the system to provide more reliable diagnostic results by updating the probability values as new evidence is introduced. The developed expert system is web-based, making it easily accessible to users, both farmers and other interested parties. Users simply select the symptoms observed in coffee plants, and the system will then provide a diagnostic result in the form of possible diseases and their probability levels. Test results indicate that the system is capable of providing fairly accurate diagnostic results and can be used as a basis for farmers in making initial decisions regarding coffee plant disease management. With this expert system, farmers are expected to improve their ability to detect coffee plant diseases early, thereby maintaining crop productivity. This expert system is expected to be an effective decision support tool for farmers to reduce crop losses and improve agricultural sustainability.

Various recent studies have shown that natural active compounds contained in traditional and fermented plants play a crucial role in supporting human health. These compounds include flavonoids, polyphenols, tannins, saponins, alkaloids, organic acids, probiotics, and other phenolic compounds. Detection of these compounds is usually carried out through specific chemical reactions that allow researchers to more precisely identify the bioactive components. Their biological activities are diverse, including antioxidant, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial properties, which work to protect the body from cell damage and infection. Natural compounds are considered promising agents for disease prevention and health promotion due to their broad biological activities. The fermentation process has been shown to increase the content of bioactive compounds while lowering the pH of the medium, creating conditions unfavorable for the growth of pathogenic bacteria. Furthermore, probiotics that develop during fermentation play a role in maintaining the balance of the gut microbiota, strengthening the immune system, and improving digestive health. Fermented products are widely recognized as functional foods because they contain beneficial probiotics and enhanced bioactive compounds. These naturally derived products, rich in secondary metabolites, have also been shown to have significant physiological effects, such as lowering cholesterol levels, controlling blood sugar, and maintaining stable blood pressure. This makes natural ingredients and fermented products not only sources of nutrition but also have great potential for development as functional foods and traditional herbal medicines. This highlights the importance of integrating traditional knowledge with modern scientific approaches in developing functional foods and herbal medicines. Therefore, research on natural bioactive compounds and the role of fermentation in enhancing their effectiveness is highly relevant to supporting sustainable public health.

Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease that remains a public health problem in Indonesia, including in Banjarmasin City. Low public knowledge and awareness of clean and healthy living behaviors (PHBS) are also factors in the high rate of TB transmission. Health education is a strategic step in addressing this problem. This study aims to determine the effect of health education using lecture methods and audio-visual media on increasing knowledge in TB prevention efforts in the Alalak Tengah Community Health Center working area. The research design used was a pre-experimental study with a one-group pre-test post-test design approach. The study sample consisted of 51 respondents selected by purposive sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire administered before and after the education, then analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. The results showed a significant increase in knowledge after the education intervention (p value <0.05). Before the education, most respondents were in the sufficient and poor knowledge categories, while after the education, most respondents moved to the good knowledge category. This indicates that the combination of lecture methods and audio-visual media can effectively increase public understanding. Delivering information through visualization has proven to be more engaging and easier to understand for a wide range of audiences. The conclusion of this study is that this outreach method is effective as a medium for educating the public about TB prevention. A similar approach can be implemented more widely in other regions to support the national TB control program. Consistent and sustainable education programs are essential to maintain high levels of public knowledge. The involvement of health workers, cadres, and community leaders is also a crucial factor in the success of outreach. This strategy is expected to be replicated in other regions with a high TB burden.
