This paper aims to describe the safety of babies in the Perspective of John Calvin and the Implications for Toraja Church members. The diversity of views on the direction of infant safety in the understanding of Church members has encouraged the author to study infant safety in the view of Jhon Calvin because the Toraja Church is a Calvinist sect. There are those who think that a baby who is born and then dies is still safe even though he has not acknowledged God as his savior. It is like a white paper without blemishes. Another understanding says that all babies who are born and then die He is a sinful human because from the womb he has been conceived and begotten in sin, and regarding salvation it is in God's Sovereignty. The research method used in this paper is literature review. The author seeks and collects the writings of John Calvin, especially on death and salvation, then compiles them. According to John Calvin, salvation is a belief based on faith in Christ. In John Calvin's view, the safety of babies is in God's Sovereignty

Humanitarian intervention is much debated topic in war and peace in the fields of moral, law, politic, philosophy in the international world. Entering the third millennium, in the context of struggle for universal peace, Pope John Paul II teached the morality of humanitarian intervention in the document Message for the Celebration of the World Day of Peace: “Peace on Earth to Those Whom God Loves” of January 1, 2000. This simple article tries to discuss, for understanding further, three demanding moral criteria for humanitarian intervention in this document, i.e.: legitimate authority, right intention, and last resort.

The growing development of shopping centers in the city of Medan creates business opportunities, starting from creating innovations in business opportunities. The method used in this design starts from the empathize and define stages starting from data collection, direct observation and interviews, both to tenants and pop-up market organizers. After the data collection stage is complete, the existing data is then analyzed. Then proceed to the ideate stage, through the process of brainstorming ideas, solving a problem, and determining the values ​​of the design. After the ideate stage, proceed to the prototype stage, where the process of visualizing ideas to get the desired results to the manufacturing stage is realized in the form of a prototype with a scale of 1:1. After the prototype is finished, a test is carried out to get feedback from users and refined through the implementation stage to perfect the product. The result of this design is that products that have been designed are oriented to be transformed into various models from the same material, with functions that can accommodate the needs of clothing displays that are still fulfilled in each module. The application of the modular concept is applied with a knockdown system, using a stalbuis pipe consisting of 3 sizes, namely, 40 cm, 21.2 cm, and 20 cm. To connect the stalbuis pipe using uno joker connections, nuts and bolts connections, and inner connections. As a flat cross section using canvas tarpaulin which consists of 2 sizes, namely, 13 cm x 51 cm and 4 cm x 51 cm.

History of the Development of Philosophy We can conclude that Philosophy, as a scientific discipline that questions the nature of existence, knowledge, values, and reality, has gone through a long journey and is full of revolutionary thoughts throughout human history. The development of this philosophy not only reflects changes in human views of the world, but also emerges as a response to intellectual challenges, social changes, and scientific developments that have occurred from time to time. The earliest period in the history of the development of philosophy is the philosophy of ancient Greece. In ancient Greece, philosophers such as Thales, Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle introduced fundamental questions about the universe, ethics, politics, and knowledge. They try to understand the universe and human place in it through reason and reason. After the Greek classical period, philosophy underwent changes during the medieval period. During this time, Patristic and Scholastic philosophy became dominant. Patristic philosophy is closely related to early Christian thought and the influence of Church Fathers such as St. Augustine. At the same time, Scholastic philosophy, influenced by the work of Aristotle, attempted to integrate philosophy with Christian theology. The next period in the history of philosophy is the Age of Enlightenment, during which philosophy underwent major shifts. Philosophers such as Descartes, Kant, and Voltaire advocated ideas of rationality, freedom, and scientific progress. They challenge traditional dogma and authority and advance knowledge through rational thinking and the scientific method. The development of modern philosophy also includes schools such as German idealism led by figures such as Kant, Hegel, and Schopenhauer. They focus on thinking about consciousness, ideals, and oneness in search of an understanding of reality. In the 19th and early 20th centuries, important schools such as empiricism and utilitarianism emerged. Philosophers such as John Locke, David Hume, and Jeremy Bentham stressed the importance of experience and utility as the foundations of knowledge and ethics. Then, pragmatism and the analytic school, pioneered by figures such as William James, Bertrand Russell, and Ludwig Wittgenstein, put forward the practical use of knowledge and language in achieving a better understanding. Contemporary philosophy involves various schools of thought. Schools such as phenomenology (Husserl), existentialism (Sartre, Camus), hermeneutics (Gadamer, Ricoeur), and structure.      

  The life of every God's people is never without serious problems, for example; skeptical of Christ, lack of self-knowledge as God's glorious creation, and doubts about his salvation. Referring to this problem, the writer conducts a theological analysis of the narrative of the Gospel of John. 3:1-21 as an alternative solution to the problem. The alternatives offered by this thought are: as God's people, they must experience spiritual renewal in the sense that they are born again, have integrity and an attitude of life as they are, understand the concept of salvation correctly, and respect themselves as God's precious creation. This study uses a qualitative method with a library approach. The final conclusion of the author about "Effective Pastoral Counseling Services According to the Gospel of John 3:1-21" is, the meaning of Jesus' ministry to Nicodemus contains an understanding that is needed by today's Christians.

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian mengenai manfaat program CSR PT TeL Pulp and Paper bagi pendidikan dan kesehatan masyarakat Desa Banuayu Kecamatan Empat Petulai Dangku Kabupaten Muara Enim, penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dan menggunakan teori triple bottom line dari John Elkington. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan program CSR PT TeL Pulp and Paper untuk pendidikan dan kesehatan masyarakat Desa Banuayu. Dalam menganalisis manfaat program CSR PT TeL Pulp and Paper bagi masyarakat Desa Banuayu dapat disimpulkan bahwa PT TeL Pulp and Paper memberikan manfaat pendidikan dan kesehatan (people) Desa Banuayu dengan pengadaan program beasiswa ikatan dinas Bidiksitel, bantuan peralatan sekolah, bantuan fasilitas mencuci tangan, program sunatan massal.

A shepherd must have the same fundamentals as the Lord Jesus, by leading and directing the flock or believers who are always based on high integrity so that the community is always intact. This means that besides believing that the Father (God) is a good shepherd, we are also obliged as His children to have good character. This writing aims to explore the life of a good shepherd in church planting so that from time to time believers remain intact and can increase. The book of John 10:1-21 is the main foundation as well as direction for shepherds to be even better. The integrity of a good shepherd must be able to manifest himself as a servant for all of his sheep. Thus, the community of believers is increasing because of the presence of a servant-hearted shepherd. In this case, keep directing your heart and eyes only to God, not to humans.

Writing this article is based on the fact that there are still many Christian leaders today who abuse their leadership without seeing the context of their faith in God's love. Therefore the purpose of writing this scientific work is how readers can emulate Jesus' leadership in the Gospel of John, the method used in writing this article is qualitative analysis through literature study by analyzing how Jesus' leadership example is very relevant for today's Christian leadership, which can be taken through books, articles. Bible and journal. The conclusion from the results of this study is that the leadership that Jesus did cannot be denied and doubted for today's Christian leaders, because he proved that he had shown how to be a quality leader even though Jesus himself could master what he wanted but not with Jesus who always humble.

Bahasa kiasan seringkali ditemukan pada karya sastra seperti puisi, drama ataupun lagu. Penelitian ini penulis menganalisis beberapa lagu dengan tema patah hati yang menggunakan jenis Bahasa kiasan metaphor, repetition, hyperbole dan personification. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif karena penelitian ini berasal dari lirik lagu yang mengandung banyak jenis Bahasa kiasan dan menjelaskan hasil analisis data berupa deskripsi. Objek dari penelitian ini adalah Bahasa kiasan yang ada dalam lirik lagu Taylor Swift bertemakan patah hati. Ada beberapa jenis Bahasa kiasan yang memiliki ciri-ciri yang berbeda, yaitu: hyperbole, metaphor, personification dan repetition. Pengumpulan data dengan cara mengelompokkan dokumen-dokumen yang berkaitan dengan permasalahan yang dibahas, baik website maupun beberapa sumber, jurnal, buku dan arsip. Penulis memilih lagu bertemakan patah hati.  Hasil penulis menyimpulkan bahwa tiga lagu Taylor Swift bertemakan patah hati, gaya bahasa digunakan ialah gaya bahasa methapore pada lagu “Dear John”, repitition pada lagu “This Love” dan personification pada lagu “Back To December”.

It is hoped that the gluten free roll cake with dori fish substitute with gotu kola leaf jam can be a snack variant that can be accepted by consumers, as well as provide sponge cake technique knowledge in making roll cake. The aims of this study were: 1) To find out the composition of the ingredients of the gluten free roll cake product, substitution of dori fish with gotu kola leaf jam. 2) Knowing the public's acceptance of gluten free roll cake substitution of dori fish with gotu kola leaf jam. The methods used in this study are library methods, experiments, hedonic tests, laboratory tests and documentation. The experimental stages in this study consisted of 2 stages, namely preliminary research and main research. The results of the study showed that the gluten-free roll cake product with the addition of 25% dory fish was the most preferred product by the panelists. The hedonic test was carried out by 35 untrained panelists who filled out a complete questionnaire. The nutritional content of gluten free roll cake with dori fish substitute with gotu kola leaf jam per 100 g is 44.68% carbohydrates, 22.08% fat, 17.22% protein, and 23.61% fiber. The technique used in making gluten free roll cake substituting dori fish with gotu kola leaf jam is the sponge cake technique. Suggestions that can be given are: 1) It is necessary to calculate the Nutrition Label Reference (ALG) for gluten free roll cake substituted for dori fish with gotu kola leaf jam 2) It is necessary to carry out a cost analysis to find out the basic cost of production and the selling price of the gluten free roll cake substituted for dori fish with gotu kola leaf jam, 3) In subsequent studies dori fish was replaced or substituted with other ingredients.

Adat is a way of life that has been passed down from generation to generation, sometimes considered sacred, so that when religion with rules/teachings that are considered new by the community becomes a new way of life, it becomes a problem to be considered as throwing away custom, or people who have forgotten the land, or are arrogant. , fanatic or dubbed uncivilized. From a religious perspective, Christians are divided into several interpretations. The attitude of rejection, which considers customs a sin with the assumption that everything in the world is sin (1 John 2:15-16). Meanwhile, other interpretations are fully accepting of adat. Custom is a gift from God, the fall of man into sin has damaged and confused traditional values, customary values need to be tested with the Word of God. This study uses a qualitative methodology with an interview and literature approach. The result of the research is that Christians should not reject customs, they only need to sort out what is contrary to God's word and what is not contrary to God's word. Customs that are contrary to God's word must be abolished, while customs related to God's word must be cultivated. Conclusion: Christian faith must be above customs because Christian faith is directly related to faith in Christ

ABSTRACT Background: Cancer is a disease that arises due to abnormal growth of body tissue cells that turn into cancer cells. Breast cancer is one type of cancer with the highest percentage among other cancers. The number of breast cancer in adolescents aged 15-24 years as many as 16 people was recorded in the records of the Riau Provincial Health Office in 2015. The results of medical research at the Johns Hopkins Research Center in America stated that 40% of cancer patients who were detected early through regular home self-examinations were successful. healed. Purpose: This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and action on early detection of breast cancer. Methods: This research is quantitative with an analytical design that uses primary data. The research sample was 84 young women using the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique. Data for knowledge and action for early detection of breast cancer were obtained by using a questionnaire and analyzed by univariate and bivariate using chi square test with SPSS. Results: The results of the univariate analysis were 50 (60%) young women with sufficient knowledge, and 69 (82%) young women did not do early detection of breast cancer. The results of the chi square test show that there is no relationship between knowledge and action on early detection of breast cancer. Every young woman is expected to increase knowledge related to early detection of breast cancer so as to raise awareness to carry out breast self-examination.   Keywords: Knowledge, Action, Early Detection of Breast Cancer   ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Penyakit kanker adalah penyakit yang timbul akibat pertumbuhan tidak normal sel jaringan tubuh yang berubah menjadi sel kanker. Kanker payudara merupakan salah satu jenis kanker dengan persentase tertinggi diantara penyakit kanker lainnya. Jumlah kanker payudara pada remaja berusia 15-24 tahun sebanyak 16 orang tercatat dalam catatan Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Riau Tahun 2015. Hasil penelitian medis John Hopkins Research Centre di Amerika menyebutkan bahwa 40% penderita kanker yang terdeteksi sejak dini melalui pemeriksaan sendiri di rumah secara teratur berhasil sembuh. Tujuan:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan dengan tindakan terhadap deteksi dini kanker payudara. Metode: Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif dengan desain analitik yang menggunakan data primer. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 84 orang remaja putri dengan menggunakan teknik Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. Data untuk pengetahuan dan tindakan deteksi dini kanker payudara diperoleh dengan menggunakan kuisioner dan dianalisis secara univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji chi square dengan SPSS. Hasil: Hasil analisis univariat terdapat 50 orang (60%) remaja putri dengan pengetahuan cukup, serta 69 orang (82%) remaja putri tidak melakukan deteksi dini kanker payudara. Hasil uji chi square menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan antara pengetahuan dengan tindakan terhadap deteksi dini kanker payudara. Setiap remaja putri diharapkan meningkatkan pengetahuan terkait deteksi dini kanker payudara sehingga menimbulkan kesadaran untuk melakukan pemeriksaan payudara sendiri.   Kata Kunci :Pengetahuan, Tindakan, Deteksi Dini Kanker Payudara

Indonesia adalah negara yang kaya akan adat istiadat dan budaya. Setiap daerah di Indonesia pasti memiliki adat istiadat dan budaya. Keberagaman ini yang membuat terdapat banyaknya pariwisata di Indonesia dan membuat banyak wisatawan yang datang ke Indonesia. Pantai di Kecamatan Suradadi memang dikenal dengan pantainya yang bersih dan indah. Potensi lain yang dimiliki oleh kawasan wisata dan wisata kuliner saat ini menjadi sebuah jenis wisata yang sangat banyak dampaknya bagi perkembangan sebuah daerah (Stowe & Johnston, 2010). Salah satu nilai pentingnya adalah menumbuh kembangkan potensi makanan asli daerah yang sepertinya sudah mulai tergeser oleh produk-produk asing ataupun berorentasi makanan asing. Pusat Wisata Kuliner Nusantara di Pantai Suradadi adalah destinasi wisata kuliner yang bertemakan keberagaman kuliner khas nusantara dengan memanfaatkan keindahan view pantai Suradadi. Bangunan ini merupakan wadah bagi para pebisnis kuliner dan penggemar kuliner karena didalamnya terdiri dari beberapa stall guna menjual beragam jenis kuliner khas Indonesia, pengunjung dapat memilih dengan bebas dan menikmati hidangan kuliner sambil menikmati suasana pantai Suradadi. Pernerapan berbagai macam pertimbangan konsep Neo-Vernakular dipilih sebagai bentuk adaptasi dari desain bangunan khas lokal yang ditampilkan dalam bentuk lebih modern. Pengaplikasiannya dilakukan secara zoning, denah, sirkulasi, maupun fasad. Diharapkan rancangan ini berguna dan memberikan inspirasi bagi pembaca.
