Socialization on the prevention of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DBD) in Kebonadem Village on July 20 2024 aims to increase public awareness about the dangers of DBD and steps to prevent it. The main problem faced is the high risk of dengue fever transmission due to population density and community behavior that does not maintain environmental cleanliness, which supports the breeding of the Aedes aegypti mosquito. The urgency of this outreach is very high considering that dengue fever cases often cause Extraordinary Events (KLB) and the fatal impacts they can have. The results of this outreach show a significant increase in public understanding regarding preventive measures such as the application of 3M Plus (Draining, Covering, Burying and Sprinkling abate powder) as well as the early signs of dengue fever. Active participation in discussions and implementing new habits, such as cleaning water reservoirs, indicates the positive impact of this activity. Despite progress, consistency in implementing prevention habits and ongoing support from various parties is still needed to ensure long-term success. Regular evaluations will help assess the effectiveness of the program and reduce the number of dengue cases in the village, making it an example of success in dengue prevention in other communities.

The consequences of this contamination affect the living organisms in the surrounding area. For instance, heavy metals in soil and water can contaminate plants growing in the region, which may then be processed as daily food sources, potentially impacting the health of those who consume them. Heavy metals such as lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd), mercury (Hg), and arsenic (As) are non-essential heavy metals that are of primary concern due to their toxic nature. The presence of heavy metals in food can hinder the growth and development of children, making it crucial to implement educational initiatives and preventive measures to reduce heavy metal contamination in daily consumed foods. In the ever-changing digital world, strong security protocols are essential. As a vital line of defence against unwanted access, blockchain uses several verification techniques to boost security. This article investigates the use of blockchain technology to tackle privacy, security, and usability issues. By reducing the dangers associated with conventional centralised systems, blockchain's decentralised and immutable structure offers a secure platform for storing and verifying authentication credentials. This method increases user trust by using smart contracts to guarantee transparent and unchangeable authentication procedures. The suggested blockchain-based method strengthens security and enhances privacy by removing sources of failure and decreasing dependence on outside verification. Furthermore, user-centric design and expedited procedures improve the system's usability by making secure authentication more approachable and less obtrusive. This paper offers a thorough examination of the suggested system, stressing its benefits, possible drawbacks, and directions for future investigation. The results indicate that blockchain technology presents a viable solution to ensure that digital authentication frameworks combine privacy, security, and usability.

Smoking has very negative health consequences. The dangers of smoking must be recognized from school age. The snakes and ladders game is an interesting type of educational media that can be used to increase students' knowledge about the dangers of smoking. The aim of this research is to find out how the use of the snakes and ladders game impacts junior high school students' knowledge about the dangers of smoking. This research is considered quasi-experimental with a non-randomized control group pretest and posttest approach. The number of respondents in this study was 90 students, where respondents were divided into 2 groups, namely the treatment group who were given health education using comic-based Photonovella media and the comparison group using conventional methods (posters). Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using the Wilcoxon Test and Mann Whitney U Test. The results of the Wilcoxon test showed a significant increase in the post test scores for the knowledge and behavior variables in both the treatment and comparison groups, but there was no significant increase in the post test scores for the attitude variables. Then the results of the Mann Whitney U Test (sig.2-tailed) on knowledge (0.007 < 0.05), attitudes (0.217 > 0.05), and behavior (0.024 < 0.05). This indicates that there is a significant difference between the scores of the treatment group and the comparison group on the knowledge and behavior variables, but there is no significant difference on the attitude variable.Comic-based photonovella can be used in the learning process because they are very effective in increasing children's knowledge, attitudes and behavior about the dangers of smoking.
