Environmental pollution is a common problem in cities and can increase the likelihood of flooding. The purpose of this study is to analyze environmental pollution as a cause of flooding in the Pekapuran Street area, Depok City. This study applies a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data were obtained through observation, documentation, and literature review. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the accumulation of household waste around the drainage channels causes obstruction of water flow, which triggers flooding during rain. In addition, the shallow, mud-filled, and poorly maintained drainage conditions increase the risk of flooding. Low levels of public awareness of environmental cleanliness are also factors that exacerbate the condition. This study concludes that flooding on Pekapuran Street is influenced not only by high rainfall, but also by environmental pollution and a suboptimal drainage system. Based on this, better waste management and drainage maintenance are needed to minimize the risk of flooding in the area.

The development of stand-up comedy as part of the creative industry raises legal issues regarding the protection of materials that are often duplicated and distributed without authorization. This study examines the legal qualification of stand-up comedy material as a copyrighted work and the form and scope of copyright protection provided under Indonesian law. This research aims to analyze the legal status of stand-up comedy material and the protection granted to it. The method used is normative juridical research with statutory and comparative law approaches. The results show that stand-up comedy material fulfills the requirements of a protected work as it contains originality and has been expressed in a tangible form. It is classified as a literary work in the form of oral expression as well as a performing art under Law Number 28 of 2014 on Copyright. The protection covers both moral rights and economic rights; however, its implementation remains weak, especially in the digital era where violations such as re-uploading and unauthorized recording are prevalent. In conclusion, stand-up comedy material has a strong legal basis for protection, but further efforts are needed in law enforcement and public awareness to ensure effective protection.

Proper drug disposal is often perceived as a trivial matter by the public when dealing with medications that are no longer needed. However, improper disposal can effect on the economy, public health, and the environment. Therefore, it is essential to educate the public to improve their knowledge regarding appropriate drug disposal methods. Previous studies have shown that educational media can effectively increase public awareness and understanding. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of educational leaflets in enhancing public knowledge about proper drug disposal. This experimental study involved an intervention using educational leaflets. A total of 100 respondents participated in the study. The intervention was conducted over three consecutive days. Pretest and posttest data were collected to assess changes in knowledge. Univariate analysis was used to describe respondent characteristics, while bivariate analysis (Wilcoxon test) was employed to compare pretest and posttest results. Pretest data indicated that the majority of respondents had only sufficient knowledge about drug disposal. Following the intervention, the number of respondents with sufficient knowledge decreased, while those categorized as having good knowledge increased. Statistically, a p-value of 0.000 demonstrated that the use of leaflets significantly improved knowledge level. Based on the results of this study, educational interventions, such as the distribution of leaflets, can effectively enhance public knowledge about proper drug disposal.

Marriage at an early age remains widespread, especially among communities with limited education and financial resources. This study aims to analyze the impact of early marriage on harmony in household life. The research model we employed was a library research design. The approach used was descriptive qualitative through literature review, referring to scholarly sources and secondary data from reputable journals published in the last five years. Findings indicate that the mental unreadiness of both parties (husband and wife) who marry at an early age can lead to instability in household life and increase the risk of marital failure or reduced family harmony. Young couples commonly face challenges in maintaining healthy communication, making joint decisions, and coping with financial pressures, all of which contribute to domestic conflict. In addition, emotional immaturity and limited life experience are also primary causes of disharmony within the family. Therefore, there is a need to improve education and public awareness about the importance of age maturity and mental readiness before marriage in order to create stable and harmonious households. Thus, it is necessary to increase education and public awareness about the importance of age maturity and mental readiness before marriage, in order to create a stable and harmonious household.

This study aims to analyze the political culture of the community in supporting the implementation of social assistance programs in Rantau Indah Village, Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach to understand community political culture through cognitive, affective, and evaluative orientations toward social assistance programs. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving village officials, RT/RW leaders, and social assistance beneficiaries. The findings indicate that community political culture plays an important role in supporting the implementation of social assistance programs. In the cognitive aspect, most people understand the existence and objectives of social assistance, although some still have limited understanding of beneficiary criteria. In the affective aspect, the community shows trust in village officials despite perceptions of inequality in aid distribution. Meanwhile, the evaluative aspect reflects community participation in supervision and feedback. Overall, community political culture tends to be participatory in supporting social assistance implementation. The study also reveals that transparent communication, active community involvement, and accountability of village authorities contribute significantly to strengthening public trust and improving the effectiveness of program implementation. Community participation in monitoring and evaluating the distribution process helps minimize potential conflicts and encourages greater transparency. These findings suggest that strengthening political awareness, enhancing public access to information, and promoting participatory governance are essential to ensure that social assistance programs are implemented fairly, effectively, and sustainably while improving community welfare and reinforcing good local governance practices.

Parental violence against children constitutes a serious violation of their human rights, as guaranteed by Article 5 of the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights and Article 19 of the 1989 Convention on the Rights of the Child. It is also contrary to Indonesia’s family law system, as set out in Law No. 35 of 2014 on Child Protection. This study aims to analyse the forms of such violence and formulate a holistic, restorative strategy to restore children’s human rights. Using a normative-empirical approach involving the analysis of legal documents, court rulings and 2023 data from the National Commission on Violence Against Women (Komnas Perempuan), which recorded 45,000 cases annually (60% of which involved parents as perpetrators), it was found that effective strategies include medical and psychological rehabilitation via P2TP2A and TF-CBT, and restorative justice through mediation under Supreme Court Regulation (Perma) No. 4 of 2019. Socio-economic support, such as the PKH programme, is also crucial. The main obstacles are patriarchal culture and a regulatory vacuum regarding the KHI. The conclusion emphasises the need for cross-sectoral commitment and makes recommendations including the introduction of mandatory parental counselling, prioritisation of court mediation, sub-district recovery units and large-scale public awareness campaigns. This study contributes to the strengthening of child protection within Indonesian family law.

The increase in medical disputes in Indonesia occurs along with the development of health services and increasing public legal awareness. Dispute resolution through litigation is often considered ineffective because it takes a long time, is expensive, and creates a confrontational relationship between medical personnel and patients. Therefore, mediation is present as an alternative dispute resolution that prioritizes deliberation, communication, and mutual agreement. This study aims to analyze the regulation, implementation, and effectiveness of mediation as an alternative resolution of medical disputes based on Supreme Court Regulation Number 1 of 2016 concerning Mediation Procedures in Court. The research method used is normative legal research with a statutory, conceptual, and case approach. Data were obtained through literature and document studies, then analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results of the study indicate that mediation has a strong legal basis and provides various advantages, such as a faster resolution process, lower costs, maintaining confidentiality, and being able to maintain good relationships between medical personnel and patients. However, the implementation of mediation still faces obstacles such as low public understanding, limited mediators who have competence in the health sector, and a legal culture that still tends to be litigative. Therefore, optimization is needed through improving mediator competence, strengthening public legal awareness, and maximizing mediation implementation to achieve fair, effective, and humane dispute resolution.

This study aims to examine the role of the government in implementing gender political education in schools in Bengkulu Province. Within the context of Indonesia's national education system, gender equality remains a crucial issue that requires sustained attention, particularly in formal educational institutions. As the primary policymaker, the government plays a strategic role in ensuring that educational policies, curricula, teaching practices, and school environments promote the principles of gender equality and inclusiveness. This research employs a library research method by reviewing various scientific publications, policy documents, laws and regulations, government reports, and relevant academic sources related to gender and education. The findings reveal that the government has introduced several regulations and programs to support gender-responsive education and enhance equal opportunities for all students. However, the implementation of these policies in schools across Bengkulu Province continues to face significant challenges. These include limited teacher competence in gender-sensitive instruction, inadequate availability of gender-responsive learning materials, insufficient monitoring and evaluation mechanisms, and the persistence of patriarchal cultural values that influence educational practices. Therefore, this study recommends strengthening policy implementation, providing continuous gender-based teacher training, developing inclusive learning resources, and integrating gender political education into local curriculum content to promote greater gender awareness and equality in schools throughout Bengkulu Province.
