Toxic work environments are becoming an issue that is getting more and more attention in human resource management because of its destructive impact on the psychological well-being of employees and organizational stability. Unhealthy interpersonal relationships, authoritarian leadership, bullying, and recurrent disrespectful behavior create a work atmosphere full of stress and uncertainty. This condition not only triggers work stress, anxiety, and emotional exhaustion, it further exacerbates these challenges, as high work demands and a lack of work-life balance make employees, especially Generation Z, increasingly vulnerable to mental health disorders. This study aims to analyze the influence of toxic work environments on employees' mental health as well as its impact on the intention to quit their jobs. The method used is a literature study with a qualitative approach, analyzing relevant scientific articles. The results of the study showed that a toxic work environment characterized by violence, bullying, tyrannical leadership, unfriendliness, and exclusion had a significant effect on the increase in work stress, psychological pressure, work stress and intention to quit work. Toxic leadership is the main factor in forming an unhealthy work culture. Social support, especially from supervisors, plays a protective role as a protective factor that mediates these negative relationships. Generation Z was found to be more sensitive to injustice and rights violations in the workplace. The study concludes that organizations need to prioritize psychological safety, implement supportive leadership, and provide tangible organizational policies and support to maintain employees' mental health and reduce work stress rates for long-term organizational sustainability.

The development of an economic activity in a city is often one of the influences on changes in the use of residential space in the surrounding area. One of the phenomena that we can see in big cities in Indonesia is the use of residences as rental housing such as boarding houses and rents aimed especially at workers in foreign areas. This study aims to analyze the use of residential space by the community as temporary residence for employees of Mie Gacoan restaurant in Serang City, Banten, and see how it affects the spatial dynamics of the residential area. This study uses a primary and secondary data-based case study method with a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of the study show that the existence of economic activities around residential areas can encourage an increase in the need for temporary housing for workers in rural areas. This phenomenon makes some people take advantage of their residences by making them rental residences such as boarding houses and rented ones. This can affect the spatial structure of the residential area, such as increasing population density, increasing activities in the residential environment, and the presence of small economic activities by the community. Therefore, this phenomenon states that the development of economic activity in an urban area can trigger changes in the use of space in the surrounding residential area.

Discrimination in the workplace is a problem that can hinder the creation of a fair and inclusive work environment. Discrimination can take the form of differential treatment of employees based on gender, race, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or other factors unrelated to individual performance and competence. To address this issue, the law plays a crucial role in providing employee protection to ensure equality and non-discrimination in the workplace. Various legal instruments, both national and international, regulate employee protection from discrimination, including the Employment Law, the Human Rights Law, and conventions issued by the International Labour Organization (ILO). However, the effective implementation of these regulations remains a challenge, particularly in terms of implementation, enforcement, and employee awareness of their rights. This study aims to analyze the role of law in protecting employees from discrimination in the workplace by examining applicable regulations and the challenges in their implementation. The research method used is a normative juridical method, which focuses on the study of relevant laws and legal principles. The analysis is conducted on national legal provisions and international legal instruments as references for protecting workers from discrimination. Furthermore, this study identifies barriers to legal implementation and offers recommendations to improve the effectiveness of legal protection for employees. This analysis is expected to provide insight into the urgency of regulatory reform and strengthening so that the law can play an optimal role in creating a fairer and more discrimination-free work environment.

This study aims to examine the effect of Employee Digital Wellness (EDW) on Work Engagement (WE) among administration and digital marketing employees in startup companies implementing hybrid working, and to explore the moderating role of Organizational Support for Wellbeing (OSW). Using a quantitative approach, data were collected through a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire from 160 purposive-sampled respondents. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) via SmartPLS 4.1.1.7. The findings indicate that EDW positively and significantly affects WE (β=0.621; t=8.943; p<0.001), confirming that employees who manage digital technology usage effectively tend to be more energetic, dedicated, and fully engaged in their work. In addition, OSW also positively influences WE (β=0.412; t=5.672; p<0.001), demonstrating that tangible organizational support in the form of wellbeing policies, flexible work arrangements, and mental health programs enhances work engagement. Moreover, OSW moderates the EDW → WE relationship (β=0.173; t=2.713; p=0.007), indicating that the positive effect of digital wellness on engagement is stronger when organizational support is sufficient. These findings highlight the importance of both personal management of digital wellness and consistent organizational wellbeing policies. Practically, organizations are advised to provide digital wellbeing programs, flexible working arrangements, and managerial support to maximize employee engagement, particularly in hybrid working contexts.

The development of halal tourism has encouraged sharia hotels to provide services that are not only comfortable and functional, but also consistent with Islamic values and halal assurance. This study aims to analyze the integration strategy between sharia hotels and halal restaurants in increasing guest visits and satisfaction at Mangkuto Sharia Hotel Payakumbuh. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving hotel management, operational employees, guests, sharia certification experts, and representatives of the local government. The data were analyzed descriptively and strengthened through strategic analysis using the Resource-Based View (RBV), Value Chain, SWOT analysis, IFAS-EFAS matrix, TOWS matrix, and Blue Ocean Strategy. The findings reveal that service integration was implemented through sharia-based operational policies, halal assurance systems in restaurant activities, and cross-departmental coordination between the front office, housekeeping, and food and beverage departments. This integration created added value in the form of physical comfort, emotional trust, and spiritual peace for guests. Internal hotel data also indicated an increase in occupancy rates from 26% in 2020 to 52% in 2024 following the implementation of the sharia concept and halal restaurant integration. Strategic analysis positioned the hotel in Quadrant I (aggressive growth strategy), supported by its halal reputation, Islamic organizational culture, guest trust, and its uniqueness as the first sharia hotel in West Sumatra certified by the National Sharia Council–Indonesian Ulema Council (DSN-MUI). The implication of this study shows that the integration of sharia hospitality can serve as a competitive product strategy rather than merely a compliance instrument, while also supporting the development of regional halal tourism.

This study aims to examine the factors influencing employee engagement in AI-driven organizations, particularly from the perspective of Artificial Intelligence (AI) leadership. This literature review focuses on the relationship between AI leadership, AI utilization, and employee engagement in contemporary organizational settings. The review was based on recent empirical studies selected according to their relevance to artificial intelligence, leadership, employee engagement, work engagement, and knowledge sharing. The analysis indicates that AI does not inherently improve employee engagement merely through its availability in the workplace. Employee engagement is likely to improve with AI-savvy leadership that is supported by meaningful AI utilization, an innovative organizational culture, effective change leadership, work engagement, and enhanced team performance. AI implementation can promote employee knowledge sharing through learning opportunities, especially when supported by paradoxical leadership and positive employee attitudes toward technology. Therefore, this review highlights the importance of human-centered leadership in enabling employees to experience AI as a source of learning, collaboration, empowerment, and meaningful contribution.

The selection process for accepting new employees is one of the important stages in a company to ensure that the candidates accepted have qualifications that suit the company's needs. At WINMART, the selection process is still carried out manually, so it is less efficient and prone to errors. Therefore, a system is needed that can assist in more objective and efficient decision making. This Decision Support System (DSS) is designed to assist the selection process for recruiting new employees using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method, which can assess several relevant criteria, such as work experience, education, skills and competency tests. This system was built on a web basis, so it can be easily accessed by parties involved in the selection process, such as HRD and managers. The SAW method was chosen because of its ability to convert various subjective criteria into more objective numerical scores, so that selection results can be more transparent and accountable. By using this system, it is hoped that it can increase efficiency, accuracy and transparency in the new employee selection process at WINMART, as well as facilitate decision making in selecting candidates who best suit the desired criteria.

This study aims to analyze the effect of Knowledge Sharing and Knowledge Leakage on Supply Chain performance, with Monitoring Opportunity as a mediating variable at the Library Office of Mesuji Regency. The research problem arises from the limited structure of knowledge-sharing practices, weak documentation of organizational knowledge, and the potential risk of knowledge leakage that may disrupt the effectiveness of library service supply chains. This study employs a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 115 employees of the Library Office of Mesuji Regency and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares with SmartPLS. The results show that Knowledge Sharing has a positive and significant effect on Supply Chain performance and Monitoring Opportunity. Knowledge Leakage does not have a significant direct effect on Supply Chain performance, but it has a negative and significant effect on Monitoring Opportunity. Furthermore, Monitoring Opportunity significantly mediates the relationship between Knowledge Sharing and Supply Chain performance, but does not mediate the relationship between Knowledge Leakage and Supply Chain performance. These findings indicate that knowledge sharing becomes more valuable when supported by monitoring capability, while knowledge leakage should be controlled through documentation, access control, and knowledge protection mechanisms. This study contributes to knowledge management and supply chain literature in public library service organizations.
