This study examines the relationship between Hospital Healthcare Service Quality (HCSQ) and patient loyalty at Tgk. Chik Ditiro Sigli Regional General Hospital, with a focus on the mediating role of patient satisfaction and the influence of leadership styles. Employing a qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and document analysis to capture the perspectives of patients, healthcare professionals, and hospital administrators. The findings reveal that key dimensions of HCSQ—such as responsiveness, empathy, communication, and facility environment—significantly impact patient satisfaction, which in turn mediates patient loyalty. Leadership styles emphasizing collaboration, communication, and patient-centeredness were found to enhance service quality and foster stronger patient-hospital relationships. Conversely, authoritarian leadership styles or those lacking effective communication negatively affected both employee performance and patient perceptions. The study highlights the importance of empowering employees, fostering teamwork, investing in infrastructure, and prioritizing patient-centered care to improve service quality and loyalty. These findings provide actionable insights for hospital management to enhance organizational performance and build long-term trust with patients. Future research is recommended to explore these relationships quantitatively across diverse healthcare settings and examine the role of cultural factors in shaping patient expectations and loyalty behaviors.

Data, gathered from in-depth interviews with 15 nurses, were analyzed using thematic analysis. Key themes revealed that EI significantly enhances communication skills, with emotional awareness, empathy, and emotional regulation playing crucial roles. Job satisfaction, influenced by organizational support, professional development opportunities, and work-life balance, acts as a critical mediator, fostering positive attitudes and effective communication practices. The combined effect of high EI, strong communication skills, and job satisfaction leads to improved patient satisfaction, enhanced teamwork, and reduced errors, impacting overall healthcare outcomes. The study underscores the importance of EI training and supportive work environments in improving nurse performance and quality of care, advocating for holistic approaches that integrate these factors to optimize healthcare delivery.

In the digital era, communication technology enhances interaction quality across various sectors, including healthcare. Communication between doctors and patients can be improved through innovative digital media platforms. However, there is a knowledge gap regarding the effectiveness and implementation of digital media in doctor-patient interactions. This study aims to evaluate the impact of digital media platforms on doctor-patient communication and identify factors influencing the effectiveness of such communication. This research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach over six months, with inclusion criteria comprising doctors and patients actively using digital media. Subjects were selected through purposive sampling, involving 20 doctors and 50 patients. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis to identify critical patterns and themes. The findings indicate that digital media usage enhances the accessibility and responsiveness of communication, enables real-time health monitoring, and increases patient satisfaction through more personal and interactive communication. Factors such as doctors' digital skills, patients' preferences, and institutional support play significant roles in communication effectiveness. Digital media also reduce communication errors and improve the efficiency of health information delivery. The implications of this study suggest that integrating digital technology in medical communication enhances interaction quality and accelerates digital transformation in the healthcare sector.
