The digital revolution in global health presents great opportunities and challenges through the integration of artificial intelligence (AI), big data and telemedicine. However, the absence of a transcendent ethical foundation in the development of medical technology risks undermining human values and justice. This study aims to critically examine the direction of digital health development by integrating the ethical and spiritual values of the Qur'an. The method used is a critical qualitative approach based on library research, with normative analysis of verses related to health principles, information ethics, and maqāṣid al-syarī'ah. The results of the study show that in QS. Al-Isrā': 70 emphasizes human dignity as the basis for medical data protection; likewise in QS. Al-Syu'arā': 80 emphasizes that healing is divine and should not be separated from spiritual values; while in QS. Al-Baqarah: 286 provides guidance on the limits of responsibility and human capabilities in the utilization of technology. The critical discussion underlines the importance of building Qur'anic-based digital ethics that emphasize justice ('adālah), trustworthiness, and compassion (raḥmah) in designing equitable and inclusive artificial intelligence (AI) systems and remote health services. It is hoped that this study will provide recommendations for the development of Qur'anic Digital Ethics as a future normative framework for global digital health innovation.

The infusion of technology in teaching and learning has opened up new ways to engage and educate and stimulated discussions over its role in perpetuating social divides while creating uneven distributions of power. In doing so, this study provides a theoretical lens on the potential ways in which ChatGPT and critical digital pedagogy intersect around technology affordances to support community-engaged, critically oriented teaching practice. Grounded in critical pedagogy and a theoretical framework informed by the basic tenets of ChatGPT, this research seeks to explore how it addresses issues that underpin critically oriented digital teaching practices rooted in dialogue & empowerment, and social justice. This scholarly contribution addresses an existing gap in the literature by exploring the interplay between ChatGPT and critical digital pedagogy, providing discerning contemplations on how technology can stimulate more engaged, vital, and socially equitable educational modalities. Drawing on previous research and methodologies, the present study unpacks associations between ChatGPT and critical digital pedagogy. Key findings from this exploration show ChatGPT as an essential benefit of reflection practices for empowerment and justice in the digital learning area. The implications of these findings are substantial for educators, researchers and policymakers wishing to foster more equitable educational practices in the digital age.

This article analyses the juridical application of criminal law in cyberbullying cases in Indonesia. The rise of digital platforms has exacerbated cyberbullying incidents, highlighting gaps in existing criminal legislation. The research aims to explore these gaps and the challenges in enforcing legal provisions against perpetrators. Employing a normative juridical method, the study examines the legal framework surrounding cyberbullying, including relevant case studies to illustrate judicial practices. The findings reveal that while existing laws address cybercrime, they often fail to provide sufficient protection for victims of cyberbullying. The lack of specific legal provisions tailored to online harassment creates legal ambiguity, resulting in inconsistent verdicts. This study suggests enhancing the current legal framework by incorporating clear definitions and legal parameters for cyberbullying, thus improving victim protection and ensuring more consistent legal outcomes. The study contributes to the ongoing discussion on the intersection of law and technology, proposing legal reforms to better address modern cyber threats.
