Making ecoprints to improve skills in using natural materials in learning arts and culture and crafts for elementary school children in Kalijambe, Sragen. Making this ecoprint means that the motifs produced on each fabric have different colors and patterns even though they use the same type of plant leaves. This is due to several factors, the relatively different shapes of the leaves. The introduction of ecoprinting to elementary school children creates a creative experience in learning arts and culture and crafts. Another contribution that can be achieved from this training is the growth of students' awareness of the potential of the environment and the desire to preserve nature. Ecoprint work training also provides real and meaningful learning experiences. Exploring the variety of natural materials around, especially leaves, adds value to aesthetic sensitivity. Apart from that, ecoprints also have quite a lot of selling value.

English language learning in vocational schools aims to provide students with language skills that can maximally support the competence of the specific field of expertise that students have. However, English teaching in many vocational schools, such as the Bali Medika Health Vocational School, is not designed as English for Specific Purposes (ESP), thus found to be insufficient to equip students to communicate using English in their target career. In addition, the teachers at this school revealed that it is difficult to find the kind of activities that can be organized to make learning English interesting and to choose material that is suitable to the needs of students as a future nurse assistant. Therefore, an innovative learning activity is needed to assist teachers in delivering teaching material that is suitable and relevant to the student’s target career. Learning through games such as word grouping and whispering was organized in the class to teach students the specialized nursing vocabulary. At the evaluation, students reported that learning nursing vocabulary through word-grouping and whispering activities was fun, and they could understand the material well. The learning activities helped them enrich their nursing vocabularies and they were very satisfied with the English learning in this program. Diabetes is a chronic disease that makes the body lose its ability to produce insulin or begin to use it less efficiently leading to high blood sugar. Without proper treatment, over time, this disease can lead to more serious health problems such as heart disease, vision loss, and kidney disease. Early detection and prevention are crucial in mitigating these risks. This study focuses on conducting an early screening for diabetes among high school students at SMA Negeri 1 Palu. Additionally, this activity aims to educate students at SMA Negeri 1 Palu on the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle by managing their sugar intake according to daily caloric needs. The program utilized an interactive educational approach, incorporating demonstration tools and discussions to enhance engagement and understanding. A total of 68 students participated in this initiative which was evaluated through a final assessment measuring knowledge improvement and awareness of diabetes prevention.

The role of human resources for teachers (educators) in technological progress in the era of the Industrial Revolution 5.0 makes the world of education the most important part of changing the nation's civilization, because it is the implementer of the success of the learning process in the classroom. The government's policy on independent learning hopes to have a positive impact through various activities to grow and improve a culture of literacy, competence and character. Therefore, this service provides a form of service through the socialization of the school literacy movement in independent curriculum learning at SMP Muhammadiyah 01 Jember. The results of this service have provided an understanding of the importance of carrying out a massive school literacy movement by providing access to reading and providing facilities to students. This activity has strengthened the importance of teacher competence in developing and implementing ideas for literacy culture in schools through a text-rich environment, an affective social environment, an appropriate academic environment according to the independent curriculum, and providing a creative environment (makerspace). Thus, this service activity can have a positive impact on schools, especially teachers as implementers of the success of the learning process in the classroom in increasing student competence

In the Pancasila Student Profile, creativity is defined as a student's ability to modify and create something that is original, meaningful, useful and has a positive impact. In developing student creativity, PKM was held to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students using ecoprint media based on the pounding technique. Dyeing using the ecoprint method based on the pounding technique is an environmentally friendly method, which uses natural ingredients to create patterns on the fabric. Ecoprint based on the pounding technique is a method of dyeing fabric that uses leaves, flowers and other parts of plants that are transferred to the surface of the fabric through a beating process. The aim of this community service is to develop student creativity, because creativity is one of the dimensions of the Pancasila student profile. The production process involves selecting tote bag materials from natural fabrics, such as calico, which are more effective in absorbing colors from plant materials. After that, fresh leaves and flowers are placed on the cloth, then beating and drying techniques are carried out to transfer the natural patterns of the plants to the surface of the cloth. In this study, various types of leaves were tested to determine the variation in pattern and color resistance produced. The results of the ecoprint making training which was carried out as a form of developing the creativity of students at SD Negeri 010246 Banjar.

The Indonesian nation as a developing country faces many nutritional problems, especially in children. If nutritional needs are not met properly, it can cause children to experience growth and development problems that affect them until they become adults. This activity was held at SDN 213 Gresik which targeted students from grades 1-3. In carrying out the activities, the team used socialization and educational methods in the form of delivering material, holding games and coloring competitions, as well as demonstrations. The results of this KKN activity students are able to understand and know the guidelines for balanced nutrition, apply how to wash hands properly in the context of Clean and Healthy Behavior (PHBS) and Application of My Plate Contents as a substitute for the slogan 4 healthy 5 perfect. In the Socialization of Balanced Nutrition Guidelines, PHBS and Application of My Plate Contents to Students of SDN 213 Gresik Grades 1-3, almost all participants actively and enthusiastically took part in the activity by paying serious attention to the material provided and also actively asking questions when someone wanted to know more.

Negative effects of social media use may include the emergence of consumerist tendencies and hedonism. Lack of knowledge regarding communication ethics on social media causes a lack of awareness of the importance of policies in social media. Several teachers also said that many Putra Bangsa Middle School students experienced complaints about using social media, such as receiving negative comments and not understanding how to respond to issues or content on social media. The aim of carrying out this service activity is to educate about the importance of communication ethics on social media. This research has important implications in shaping student character in the digital era. Increasing understanding of communication ethics can help students interact positively and responsibly on social media platforms. The hope of this research is that Putra Bangsa Middle School students can participate actively in implementing communication ethics in social media. In this way, it is hoped that they can become critical and responsible individuals in communicating not only in the real world but also in cyberspace. In conclusion, this counseling has a positive impact in shaping student character and reflects concern for the formation of a generation with character in Indonesia.

The trend of thrifting has exacerbated the problem of fabric waste in Indonesia. Therefore, sustainable efforts are needed, such as activating fabric waste processing activities in the community. The Gulon Asri Jebres waste bank is a place for community service activities carried out by the UNS interior design study program to develop interior products that have more value for fabric waste materials. This community service activity emphasizes the development of interior product designs made from fabric waste. Development activities are accompanied by lecturers and interior design students from the start of making sketches until later they become ready-to-sell products using a design thinking approach. The products produced include chairs, laundry baskets, curtains, cushions, and plant hangings.

Population event reporting is mandatory for all residents. Population event reporting aims to provide identity validity and legal certainty through population documents in every population event experienced by residents. In addition to being proof of the legality of various administrative matters, this reporting also plays an important role in the administration of the state. The obligation to report population events has not been properly understood by partners. This community service activity was carried out to overcome the partner's problem, namely the low understanding of MA Nahdlatut Thulab students about the obligation to report population events. The solution offered is to improve student understanding through legal counseling and measured discussions. This community service activity used lecture, discussion, and question-and-answer methods. As a result of the activity, students became more aware of population events, the obligation to report population events, how to report them, and the importance of reporting. There was an increase in student understanding before and after the activity was carried out.

An earthquake is a type of natural disaster which occurs due to the movement of tectonic plates. The time and location of an earthquake cannot be predicted, so people living in earthquake-prone areas should have good knowledge of earthquake disasters as capital in anticipating earthquake disasters. Various efforts need to be made to increase knowledge about earthquake disasters, one of which is through education. In the education sector, efforts to increase knowledge about earthquake disasters can be done through the integration of game-based learning in schools. One of the schools that is vulnerable to earthquakes is SMP Negeri 1 Polanharjo, Klaten Regency. This school is one of the schools that was affected by the earthquake disaster in Klaten Regency in 2006. The aim of this activity is to (1) increase knowledge about earthquake disasters through the implementation of game-based learning media (disaster SOS and puzzles) for social studies teachers and students at SMP Negeri 1 Polanharjo and (2) increase the capacity of teachers and students in dealing with earthquake disasters. The targets of this activity are social studies teachers and OSIS administrators at SMP Negeri 1 Polanharjo. The implementation method is through socialization and practice in using game-based learning media, namely disaster SOS and puzzles. The results of the activity showed that (1) the implementation of game-based learning media (disaster SOS and puzzles) can increase the motivation of teachers and students in studying earthquake disasters and (2) this media can increase the capacity of teachers and students regarding earthquake disasters.

Adapting to rapidly evolving technology and honing digital literacy is a necessity for students at SMAN 1 Samaturu to ensure they do not fall behind in an increasingly digital world. However, the challenge lies in the lack of digital journalism literacy programs, despite the significant potential of this field to enhance general literacy and provide practical skills for students. The limited availability of journalism training, such as writing articles, conducting interviews, and managing school media, reduces students' opportunities to learn in this area. To address this, a digital journalism training was held on August 13, 2024, with 50 students participating. The activity included planning, training, and evaluation stages. As a result, students were able to recognize their potential in journalism. They not only learned to write and edit articles but also developed the ability to understand, analyze, and process information critically. They became more sensitive to accurate information sources, understood good narrative structures, and improved their communication skills, thus enhancing their digital literacy.

The Community Partnership Program (PKM) activity partners are people who are not economically productive (general/ordinary people) Farming Women's Group « Subur Makmur » located in Siododadi Village, Masaran District, Sragen Regency. The problems faced are low agricultural production due to a lack of fertilizer due to the scarcity and high price of chemical fertilizers and due to attacks by plant pests and diseases. Therefore, it is necessary to empower women farmers to overcome these problems, namely by carrying out micro-scale mitigation (prevention) in their farming businesses. The objectives of this community partnership program (PKM) are: 1) improving the skills, knowledge and attitudes of partners in managing farming businesses, 2) motivating partners to always be creative and innovative in managing farming businesses, 3) encouraging partners to improve and maintain their farming businesses by utilizing environmentally friendly local resources and 4) for universities as a form of implementing MBKM based on the second and third Main Performance Indicators (IKU), namely students and lecturers active outside campus. The methods that will be used to achieve this goal are outreach to community leaders and partners, providing knowledge and skills through lectures, field practice, discussions, and assistance in making liquid organic fertilizer (POC) and vegetable pesticides as well as planting family medicinal plants (Toga) in pot. The output targets of this community partnership program are: 1) Women farmer groups (KWT) as partners can become pioneers in managing environmentally friendly farming businesses, 2) be able to make their own POC and vegetable pesticides, 3) have skills and knowledge in mitigating the business farming, and 4) publication through national journals with ISSN in the Adi Widya Journal with ISSN 2598-2273 (print media) and ISSN 2598-2281 (online media) which have been indexed by Sinta and online mass media and Yuotube

Japanese language skills are a mandatory requirement for Indonesian interns who will work in Japan. Based on interviews with the leadership of LPK INNA (Indonesia Nippon Anugerah) Padang, it is known that the average intern who goes to Japan has Japanese language skills at N4 level or at least N5. At this level, students can read hiragana, katakana and basic kanji, they are can listen and take in information that is spoken slowly. However, interns are still hampered in communicating spontaneously, they are not fluent and stammer in carrying out conversations. In this PKM, training will be given to strengthen Japanese speaking skills to interns at LPK INNA through the Japanese Conversation Practice application. This training aims to: provide an understanding of Japanese culture related to communication and work ethic, practice carrying out daily Japanese conversations, introduce the use of the Japanese Conversation application as a medium for independent practice. The level of awareness Indonesian society regarding mental health, especially among teenagers, is still minimal, therefore lecturer and students from Faculty of Communication Sciences, University of Indonesia Maju provide education regarding how to maintain mental health for students at SMA PGRI 3 Jakarta. Mental health is a form of true balance of mental functions and the creation of adjustment between humans, themselves and their surrounding environtment. The method used in this community service is the lecture and discussion method. The results of community service activities for educational participants regarding interpersonal communication approaches in maintaining the mental health of SMA PGRI 3 Jakarta students begin to open up and increase their knowledge regarding maintaining mental health. These result were obtained from the evaluation form filled in by participants and observations during the discussion process.

This community service was to help the community utilize the internet as a means of promoting tourism or all the potential in the Pacitan area, East Java. The intended target was for students to be more productive in utilizing their time in this information and digital era. Research shows that students spend more time surfing cyberspace, fulfilling their entertainment needs than studying. Through journalism training, it was hoped that students who were still active members of society and had high curiosity could canalize it through positive activities. The way to do it was by making journalistic products that could be published in media. How to make journalistic products that could be suitable for publication in the media or were of interest to the public as a means of regional promotion was the goal of this activity. This activity was part of efforts to increase society's digital competence.

Digital marketing is overwhelmly replacing offline marketing. One of the classic challenges faced by private schools is student enrollment. The purpose of the programm is to increase teacher’s participation in new student admissions (PPDB) through marketing strategy sessions, teacher motivation class, and a workshop on creating audiovisual media using mobile phones. The community service was held on January 2nd, 2024, and was attended by 34 participants, including principals, teachers, and education staffs from SMK PMB Kutoarjo, SMP PMB Pituruh, and SMP PMB 1 Kutoarjo. The questionnaire data was analyzed descriptively. The training results indicated that most teachers (94.1%) were willing to participate in PPDB digital marketing by sharing promotional media (65.6%), creating promotional media (59.4%), making videos (50%), and involving students in media creation (31.3%) and sharing media (43.8%). Efforts to enhance the participation of teachers in PPDB require personal commitment as well as the support of leaders and policy stakeholders. Collaborative efforts involving teachers as key agent include peer teacher, students, and alumni. 

The aim of this research is to improve English grammar skill of private vocational students by using Grammar Translation Method (GTM). The grammar itself focuses on simple present tense and simple past tense. Data of this research uses pre – test and post – test of 35 students majoring accounting in SMK Saraswati. Meanwhile, this research was conducted using proportional stratified random sampling for taking its data sample and independent sample t-test for analyzing its data. According to the research result, the average of pre-test (before any treatment) is lower than the post test. The data analysis shows that the average of pre-test is 52 and post test is 76. In this case, students had improvement in understanding the materials after the application of grammar – translation method in classroom. It means that Grammar – Translation Method can improve students’ English grammar skill, especially students having trouble to comprehend grammar material in fully English.

The aim of this research is to improve speaking skill of elementary teacher by using Role Play. . Data of this research uses pre – test and post – test of 30 teachers in SD IT ANNUR Gemolong Sragen. Meanwhile, this research was conducted using proportional stratified random sampling for taking its data sample andindependent sample t-testfor analyzing its data. According to the research result, the average of pre-test in 4th grade, 5th grade and 6thgrade (before any treatment) is lower than the post test. The data analysis shows that the average of pre-test is 54 and post-test is 72 for the teachers of 4th grade, the pre-test is 51 and post-test is 73,5 for teachers of 5th grade, the pre-test is 49,5 and post-test is 82 for the teachers of 6th grade. Students had improvement in understanding the materials after Role Play Method was given.
