Making batik designs requires the ability to visualize ideas for motifs or decorations. This process relies on the ability to move the visual processing process which was originally still an idea into something real, which can be seen in the form of an image. The ability to visualize is important because from this process motifs, patterns and decorations can be created. This work is quite complicated, requires precision, patience and takes time. When there are many orders, the work of drawing motifs must be faster. One solution to speed up making drawings is to use computer graphics to help create innovative written batik designs in a shorter time than if done manually. Through community service activities, the application of computer graphics technology for batik design innovation at the Pandansari Plupuh Sragen Batik Business uses training methods delivered offline and online. This is because both trainers and participants take time out of their busy work schedules. The participants are employees in the design department who are able to use computers. Through one face-to-face meeting for explanation and four online meetings for practice which aims to improve participants' skills in making various kinds of motifs. The result is a new design that can be completed relatively quickly compared to if it was done manually.

This UMKM socialization activity aims to develop the digital competence of UMKM actors in order to create digital entrepreneurs who can compete with the complex dynamics of today's market. With the digitalization of UMKM actors, It is anticipated that UMKM owners will recognize the significance of strengthening their understanding of financial management, marketing strategies, and the application of appropriate technology, so that they can position their businesses effectively and efficiently. This activity uses the Lecture and Drill and Practice methods which can attract the public to join in the activity. The data from this study reveals, (1) The socialization of UMKM digitalization provides benefits for the development of UMKM businesses in Purwodiningratan Village, (2) Increases digital competence for UMKM actors in the use of digital marketing platforms such as: marketplaces, digital payment methods using QR Code scans (QRIS), and digital financial records, and (3) UMKM actors are able to practice making digital payments in the form of QR Codes (QRIS) independently so that digital entrepreneurs can develop in Purwodiningratan Village.

Children are an asset of the nation that needs to be well prepared, because the future of this country or nation is determined by the child or the young generation. Given this, then the legal protection of children is very important to do. Areas that need protection for children are religious, health, education, social and special fields. In order to realize or realize the protection of children, the Indonesian Child Protection Commission was established. The Commission has the duty to supervise the implementation of the protection and fulfillment of the Rights of the Child; provide input and suggestions in the formulation of policies on the implementation of Child Protection; Collect data and information on Child Protection; receiving and conducting a review of public complaints regarding violations of the Rights of the Child; Mediate the dispute over Child Rights violations; Cooperate with institutions established by the Community in the field of Child Protection, and report to the authorities on the alleged violation of this Law. In order to encourage taxpayer compliance, the Directorate General of Taxes issued a tax administration system that utilizes technology, namely e-Form. This study aims to obtain evidence regarding the implementation of the use of e-Form in reporting Individual Taxpayer Annual Tax Returns. The analysis method used in this study is an empirical analysis method by obtaining information by collecting data. The results of this study show that the implementation of the use of e-Form in reporting individual taxpayer tax returns at the Ni Made Rianingsih Consultant Office provides many conveniences for taxpayers. The implementation of e-Form as a new breakthrough is expected to be able to provide excellent service to the community so that it can increase state tax revenue optimally.  

Learning as a process of organizing the environment around students might meet the National Education Standards. Most educators in Surakarta City had minimal understanding of the assessment of learning outcomes. How was the technique of preparing the right assessment tool in measuring student learning achievement? Based on the situation analysis, the partner's problems were found, including the lack of understanding of educators in the form and technique of preparing appropriate assessment tools, as well as the limited ability of educators to translate assessment techniques into digital form. The proposer's solution was through training, namely first training, designing the preparation of good item items, and providing strategies for composing good item items by paying attention to validity, level of difficulty, discriminating power, and reliability. The second training is monitoring the preparation of item items as well as strengthening the concepts and skills of item analysis techniques as well as assessment tool techniques with the assistance of digital media. The result of the implementation was that the activities run in an orderly manner according to the plan and according to the targets set. From this activity, it could be concluded that there was an increase in the competence of educators in developing digital-based assessments of learning tools after being given training.

Public transportation is one of the transportation media that is very necessary for the community and the government to minimize the use of private transportation as well as congestion that is becoming more and more common in big cities in Indonesia. The use of public transportation is carried out by the government through State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) and Privately-Owned Enterprises (BUMS) through land, sea and air transportation. Public transportation in the past 1 (one) decade has become the main center of attention for the central and regional governments in order to minimize the accident rate on public transportation and make various policies to protect passengers and their heirs if unwanted things happen. So far, many students do not know the responsibilities of carriers in public transportation, therefore it is necessary to do community service in the form of outreach to increase the understanding of MA NU Mranggen students regarding the responsibilities of carriers in public transportation. This service is carried out by means of lectures and direct questions and answers and evaluation by distributing questionnaires before and after the activity is carried out. This service is carried out by an implementation team consisting of 1 (one) chairperson, and 2 (two) members. The implementation team is lecturers at the Faculty of Law, University of Semarang who are competent in mastering material regarding the responsibilities of carriers in commercial transport. The results of the dedication which took the theme of the rights of persons with disabilities, based on an average increase of 70.0%.

Based on data released by the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenpppa), the number of cases of Domestic Violence (KDRT) that occurred in Indonesia throughout 2020 was still very high. East Java ranks second highest after Central Java as the province with the most domestic violence cases throughout 2020, with 1,588 cases. This figure is obtained from the number of cases of domestic violence reported in all cities in East Java. Efforts to reduce the incidence of domestic violence are not enough just to take repressive actions against perpetrators of domestic violence. What is more important is preventive action to prevent the occurrence of domestic violence. One of the causes of domestic violence can occur is the lack of public knowledge about what is meant by domestic violence. Because there are still many cases of domestic violence that occur during this Covid-19 Pandemic. This is where the role of universities is expected to be able to provide knowledge to the community, not only for women or children, but also for men. One of the things that universities can do in providing knowledge to the community regarding domestic violence is by conducting socialization and legal counseling. The role of legal counseling can provide increased legal knowledge to community members in order to avoid violations of the law, especially Law Number 23 of 2004 concerning the Elimination of Domestic Violence. Another benefit of legal counseling is that the community can play an active role directly with other communities to transmit or relay the relay to other members of the community such as within the family, neighbors, in the neighborhood associations and neighborhood associations in the East Java region. Batik Tiga Negeri is one of the historic batiks on the north coast of the island of Java which was made to be traded from the start. Packaging for Batik Tiga Negeri is needed in addition to protecting the product, as well as for communication media in spreading about one of the nation's wealth that can be proud of. Packaging can have a useful multi-function. There are many packaging options, ranging from plastik to paper and cloth, all of which can display product labels. Through this service activity, it is hoped that the millennial generation, namely Regina Pacis Solo High School students will understand: 1) How far can the main motifs of Batik Tiga Negeri developed according to the style of young people? 2) How student’s creativity in making packaging for Batik Tiga Negeri products is not only attractive, useful, but also can be an effective communication medium. In other words, from the work produced, it will further clarify the role of packaging for Batik Tiga Negeri handicraft products other than as a wrapper. The method used is community service in the form of training. Beginning with providing material to young people as the nation's next generation, about the archipelago's wastra, especially batik. Training on making designs on packaging to wrap Tiga Negeri batik products, in order to produce a unique packaging with the main motif idea of   Batik Tiga Negeri. The purpose of this activity is to make students aware of the importance of maintaining the ancestral heritage which is the wealth of this nation.

Traditional medicine / herbal medicine is a product consumed by many people, so the security aspect must be maintained. In order for herbal products to be safely consumed, herbal medicine producers must understand and apply sanitation and hygiene in their production processes and packaging methods. The community service activities aim to improve the knowledge and skills of herbal medicine craftsmen about sanitation and herbal hygiene production and how to pack using continuous sealer machines. This activity was held at PJ SUTI SEHATI, having its address at Pengkol RT 02 RW 1 Nguter Sukoharjo and PJ Bintang Mas having the address at Tenongan RT 2 RW 1 Gupit Nguter Sukoharjo. The form of the activity is providing counseling (lectures and question and answer), training and mentoring. The target of the activity is the leader / owner and employees of herbal medicine craftsmen. The steps of the activity include, preparation, implementation and evaluation. The participants received an explanation of sanitation and hygiene and how to pack using continuous sealer machines. Evaluation has been carried out after service activities which result in packaging using a continuous sealer machine 3-4 times faster and more hygienic.

The role of the community in waste management at this time is generally limited to waste disposal. We are not yet at the stage of waste management where waste can be reused by the community. Waste management must be handled comprehensively with the 3R principle, namely reduce, namely reducing waste piles; reuse by reusing waste that is not used; and recycle, namely recycling into products of economic value. Good waste management is expected to reduce the volume of waste that is disposed of at the final disposal site (TPA). The need for community education on proper waste management and disposal in order to reduce the impact of environmental pollution.The service was carried out in Triyagan Village, Mojolaban District, Sukoharjo Regency, at the beginning of the activity by giving a pre-test, presenting the material, and at the end of the activity, namely an evaluation with a post-test. The results of the pre-test mean score are 62, and the post-test average score is 82, after receiving counseling. The score of the evaluation results showed that there was a positive change in the mindset of the community.

Children with disabilities are part of diversity, but there are problems such as the lack of character formation of children, not yet optimal in developing the potential and limited skills and independence of children with disabilities. So the PKM-PM team at Slamet Riyadi University Surakarta provided a mentoring activity through the application of the aquaponics system in order to empower children with disabilities in improving the life skills of children with disabilities at YPAC Professor Doctor Soeharso Surakarta. The methods applied in this service include: (1) providing counseling and socialization related to the aquaponics system, (2) aquaponics assembly, (3) training related to aquaponics seeding and care, and (4) monitoring the development of aquaponics. The result of this service is that children with disabilities who become participants during the service process have gained knowledge related to the aquaponics system. Children routinely carry out maintenance such as spraying hydroponic vegetables, feeding catfish to cleaning fish waste at the bottom of the pond. Assistance is carried out to train the independence and responsibility of children with disabilities in aquaponic care as well as become vocational skills for them which if aquaponics continues to be developed it will become a source of income for children with disabilities, especially those living in dormitories. This service has achieved the expected results and the sustainability of this program continues to be carried out with a monitoring pattern. Community Service entitled Making Liquid Organic Fertilizer from Vegetable Waste involving the Taru Mulyo Farmer Group in Karangpalem village, Kedawung sub-district, Sragen district which cares about environmental conservation, has been carried out on May 25, 2021. The purpose of this activity is to utilize household waste from waste The vegetables are then developed to make liquid organic fertilizer. Thus the environment becomes clean and healthy, and is able to increase the income of partners. The resulting output target is a packaged liquid organic fertilizer product as well as the Adi Widya Service journal, and Presentation at Senadimas. To realize the output targets, the methods applied include counseling, training, mentoring and at the same time direct practice. In order for this partnership program to be sustainable, periodic monitoring and evaluation are carried out.

This housing business is widely cultivated, in addition to materials that are around the business location, the production process is relatively simple, the capital is not large, the market share is wide open. So it is not surprising that in the development of the Sumber Agung Home Industry, it faces competition, especially in product marketing. This is because in determining the selling price of Sumber Agung, it should be based on the cost of production which is calculated accurately. This has not been able to be done. So far, Sumber Agung has not carried out the process of making the cost of production in business. The FE Unisri Service Team tries to provide assistance in making production prices so that Sumber Agung can set an accurate selling price so that they can compete in selling products. With the determination of the cost of production, Sumber Agung can always develop real expenditures from its production costs in the form of: raw material costs, auxiliary materials, labor costs and factory overhead costs.

The pharmacy was established with the aim of being able to provide good pharmaceutical services to the community including being ready to provide drug consultation, supply of drugs and pharmaceutical supplies of good quality. Therefore, pharmacies need to innovate in carrying out promotional activities to provide information and attract people to want to buy and become loyal drug consumers. One of the factors influencing a pharmacy is that how the pharmacy can provide consumers to order drugs and receive goods easily, quickly, safely and comfortably. The Community Service Team of STIE AUB Surakarta wants to socialize and train and assist to create a drug consumer satisfaction model through improving the quality of order delivery to expand the drug market in large family pharmacies in Surakarta. The size of this Community Service activity can be seen from the output in the form of 1) Pharmacy survey in improving the quality of order delivery, 2) creation of order delivery models, 3) increased pharmacy market supply, 4) scientific articles. The problems that arise by partners are 1) the quality of drug order delivery has not been maximized, 2) there are no innovations in delivery models, 3) the market is still limited. The stages of the implementation of the service carried out by the team are socializing to the community in the process of ordering and sending drugs at pharmacies in Surakarta, training partners / pharmacies in creating order delivery models and training marketing management theories to partners in order to innovate wider markets. The results expected by the team are customer satisfaction and loyalty. The elderly are a group of people who are vulnerable to degenerative diseases such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and others. The causes include a lack of knowledge about healthy diet and the lack of health checks. The purpose of this community service activity is to improve the quality of life of the elderly in Kelurahan Utama of South Cimahi by socializing healthy diets and conducting health checks. Media used for healthy diet counseling are power points, videos, and posters. Health examinations conducted include measurements of body mass index, blood pressure, blood glucose levels, triglycerides, total cholesterol, and uric acid. The results of the health examination showed quite a lot of elderly people who suffer from degenerative diseases. Through this activity, the elderly in Kelurahan Utama of South Cimahi gained knowledge about healthy diet in order to avoid various diseases and know the disease that is being experienced so that they can immediately undergo proper treatment.

Blood is an important component of the human body, therefore the supply of blood at the Indonesian Red Cross must be maintained. In the era of the Covid-19 pandemic that hit Indonesia, the amount of blood supply at the Indonesian Red Cross decreased. Seeing this condition, lecturers and students from the Management Program of the Universitas Islam Batik Surakarta initiated blood donation activities to the community with the aim of providing education and socialization of the importance of blood donation in the pandemic era, increasing the number of blood bags, humanitarian efforts to help others and a concrete manifestation of the implementation of community service as one of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. The activity was held on October 14, 2020 at the Keluarahan Tipes, Serengan with health protocol and 3M principles. Participants who registered were 28 participants, who qualified as donors as many as 25 participants. The amount of blood that was collected was as many as 25 bags. The result, the event can run smoothly and orderly and it is hoped that this activity can be held regularly.

Bureaucracy has a heavy duty to implement the government’s vision and mission. Therefore, reliable, integrated, honest, capable, and high-motivation personnel are required. Bureaucratic reform should be implemented using master plan of human resource with massive bureaucratic simplification, because the existing bureaucratic is too long. The position of ASN (State Civil Apparatuses) will be based on functional position only, requiring more skill and competency. In bureaucratic reform, ASN faces a problem, that is, government’s plan to remove structural post of echelons III and IV. The government wants to break the too long procedure in bureaucracy and expect to accelerate decision making and to accelerate public service when bureaucratic reduction is implemented. There are some solutions to the problem discussed, among others: a. amending ASN Law, particularly related to ASN position and ASN management; b. reorganizing the institutional structure (central and regional) in order to adapt to the bureaucratic function needed; c. reinforcing the integrated carrier building for ASN personnel emphasizing more on functional position; d. the establishment of work relation pattern and inter-function coordination that can project the quick and simple bureaucratic working system; changing ASN personnel’s mindset into work professionalism-orientation based on merit system. Internal expectation in the discussion resulting from this socialization includes: a) Regency Government gives inadequate socialization to ASNs, so that they have not understood completely the echelon removal policy; b) the echelon officials approaching pension age can accept the echelon removal policy; c) the young and productive echelon officials prefer structural position because they get more facilities and wellbeing than they do in functional position; d) potential staffs often attend education and training, have visionary perspective, and prefer functional position because they can get position promotion more quickly impacting on the increasing income; e) the staffs without structural position prefer functional position because their pension age can be up to 60 years. Recommendation and expectation to be obtained from this socialization is that all ASNs in DLH Blora will acquire complete information on echelon removal plan and keep their working spirit

Forms of domestic violence action in the community Kel. Purwosari, Kec. Laweyan, the city of Surakarta still does not need to be reported by the surrounding community. This is because there is a reason that acts of domestic violence are internal family matters and other people do not need to interfere to then be able to intervene or even report these acts of domestic violence. From the above conditions, it can be seen that not many people know that anyone can report this action to anyone who knows about the incident. This is a mandate from the existence of Law no. 23 of 2004 concerning the Elimination of Domestic Violence. Meanwhile, if you look at the conditions in the community, it turns out that domestic violence is taboo for others to know and it is a shame for the head of the family that he is considered unable to take care of his household affairs properly until he has to commit domestic violence to his family members. In addition, there are also Kelurahan officials who do not know that this is also a collective responsibility in order to minimize the increase in cases of domestic violence in Indonesia. Where this usually leads to divorce in marriage and the psychology of children from victims of domestic violence.

Polibatam press bergerak dalam bidang usaha penerbitan buku ajar dan modul praktikum yang merupakan hasil karya dari civitas akademik Politeknik Negeri Batam. Sejak berdirinya Polibatam Press belum memiliki prosedur yang baku mengenai penerbitan buku ajar dan modul praktikum. Pembahasan mengenai prosedur ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses implementasi penerbitan buku ajar dan modul praktikum di Polibatam Press. Metode yang digunakan berupa analisis diskriptif, penulis mengumpulkan data yang diperoleh dari perusahaan berupa dokumen dan keterangan yang diberikan perusahaan mengenai prosedur penerbitan buku ajar dan modul praktikum, selanjutnya penulis akan menguraikan secara rinci proses penerbitan buku ajar dan modul praktikum. Hasil analisis menyimpulkan bahwa prosedur penerbitan buku ajar dan modul praktikum di Polibatam Press terdiri dari kegiatan yaitu sales order dari penulis, administrasi (Down Payment/DP), penyerahan naskah, design sampul atau re-layout, proofreading penulis, proses revisi setelah proofreading dari penulis (bila ada yg di revisi), proses proofreading akhir penulis (apabila sudah bebas koreksi, lanjut ke-), pengajuan ISBN, pendaftaran Perpusnas RI, proses cetak dummy buku dan proses cetak massal, serta penyelesaian administrasi.

All members of the Kelapa-Mas community work as palm-sugar-maker in Kliwonan, Banjarharjo, Kalibawang District, Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta. The community has been producing palm sugar for generations and selling it to traditional markets around the village. There is a possibility that the community product could be developed to get a wider market and would give a better economic impact on the community. Through the UKDW Service Learning program in 2019, the community has been assisted to increase the value of their palm-sugar product. This assistance is carried out in 4 stages, First: counseling of good and hygienic production processes according to P-IRT standards, Second: assistance to product branding and packaging, Third: counseling and initiation of product marketing through online/digital and offline media, in collaboration with retail stores, and Fourth:  assistance and initiation of an organization, in order to continuing the palm-sugar-maker community to operating and growth independently. The results obtained during the full one-month intensive mentoring period were: the better sugar products with clear & catchy branding, a wider offline marketing network through modern retail and online media, a business license for P-IRT, and a well-structured-organization for management of the Kelapa-Mas palm-sugar household industry community organization
