Negative effects of social media use may include the emergence of consumerist tendencies and hedonism. Lack of knowledge regarding communication ethics on social media causes a lack of awareness of the importance of policies in social media. Several teachers also said that many Putra Bangsa Middle School students experienced complaints about using social media, such as receiving negative comments and not understanding how to respond to issues or content on social media. The aim of carrying out this service activity is to educate about the importance of communication ethics on social media. This research has important implications in shaping student character in the digital era. Increasing understanding of communication ethics can help students interact positively and responsibly on social media platforms. The hope of this research is that Putra Bangsa Middle School students can participate actively in implementing communication ethics in social media. In this way, it is hoped that they can become critical and responsible individuals in communicating not only in the real world but also in cyberspace. In conclusion, this counseling has a positive impact in shaping student character and reflects concern for the formation of a generation with character in Indonesia.

Adapting to rapidly evolving technology and honing digital literacy is a necessity for students at SMAN 1 Samaturu to ensure they do not fall behind in an increasingly digital world. However, the challenge lies in the lack of digital journalism literacy programs, despite the significant potential of this field to enhance general literacy and provide practical skills for students. The limited availability of journalism training, such as writing articles, conducting interviews, and managing school media, reduces students' opportunities to learn in this area. To address this, a digital journalism training was held on August 13, 2024, with 50 students participating. The activity included planning, training, and evaluation stages. As a result, students were able to recognize their potential in journalism. They not only learned to write and edit articles but also developed the ability to understand, analyze, and process information critically. They became more sensitive to accurate information sources, understood good narrative structures, and improved their communication skills, thus enhancing their digital literacy.

This community service program aims to facilitate the improvement of English skills for military personnel of Radar Unit 212, Indonesian Air Force, in Natuna Regency. This area is in close proximity to the South China Sea, which is still subject to territorial disputes among several Southeast Asian countries. As an international language, English plays a crucial role as a communication bridge for Air Force personnel. By implementing Communicative Language Teaching (CLT), a teaching method focusing on actual interaction such as conversation and discussion, the Air Force personnel can benefit from this English skills improvement program.

The community has the right to get a clean, beautiful, comfortable and healthy environment; get cleaning services; utilizing and processing waste; actively participate in waste management activities; and obtain information from local governments and/or other parties that are directly related to the sustainability of life related to waste. This right has direct implications for the community's obligations regarding the management of household waste and/or similar household waste by being obliged to reduce and/or handle waste in an environmentally sound manner. Unfortunately, the handling of environmentally sound waste has not gone well due to inadequate facilities, enforcement of regulations, and low awareness of the community itself. PT. Wahana Anugerah Energi has developed a waste collection and transportation system using a smartphone application called Rapel. Rapel campaigns for sustainable waste management in households. Currently, Rapel provides garbage pick-up services, especially for recycled waste. However, the problems faced include: wide community reach but with Human Resources (HR) PT. The Wahana Anugerah Energi (Rapel Surakarta) is limited, facilities and infrastructure for the ongoing development of understanding of waste management for the community are not sufficient, the application of Rapel is not yet known by the people of Surakarta. overcome, the lack of public awareness of Surakarta City regarding waste management, lack of cooperation and coordination with agencies related to waste problems so that Rapel technology has not received public knowledge, Surakarta people do not know about data integration related to environmental information. From this problem, we  design a social marketing communication program so that Rapel Indonesia's goal of encouraging people to sort household waste can be achieved. To achieve this, we design a waste sorting workshop by presenting credible sources such as Lyfe With Less Representative and Rapel Indonesia Manager. Japanese language skills are a mandatory requirement for Indonesian interns who will work in Japan. Based on interviews with the leadership of LPK INNA (Indonesia Nippon Anugerah) Padang, it is known that the average intern who goes to Japan has Japanese language skills at N4 level or at least N5. At this level, students can read hiragana, katakana and basic kanji, they are can listen and take in information that is spoken slowly. However, interns are still hampered in communicating spontaneously, they are not fluent and stammer in carrying out conversations. In this PKM, training will be given to strengthen Japanese speaking skills to interns at LPK INNA through the Japanese Conversation Practice application. This training aims to: provide an understanding of Japanese culture related to communication and work ethic, practice carrying out daily Japanese conversations, introduce the use of the Japanese Conversation application as a medium for independent practice. The level of awareness Indonesian society regarding mental health, especially among teenagers, is still minimal, therefore lecturer and students from Faculty of Communication Sciences, University of Indonesia Maju provide education regarding how to maintain mental health for students at SMA PGRI 3 Jakarta. Mental health is a form of true balance of mental functions and the creation of adjustment between humans, themselves and their surrounding environtment. The method used in this community service is the lecture and discussion method. The results of community service activities for educational participants regarding interpersonal communication approaches in maintaining the mental health of SMA PGRI 3 Jakarta students begin to open up and increase their knowledge regarding maintaining mental health. These result were obtained from the evaluation form filled in by participants and observations during the discussion process.

Batik Tiga Negeri is one of the historic batiks on the north coast of the island of Java which was made to be traded from the start. Packaging for Batik Tiga Negeri is needed in addition to protecting the product, as well as for communication media in spreading about one of the nation's wealth that can be proud of. Packaging can have a useful multi-function. There are many packaging options, ranging from plastik to paper and cloth, all of which can display product labels. Through this service activity, it is hoped that the millennial generation, namely Regina Pacis Solo High School students will understand: 1) How far can the main motifs of Batik Tiga Negeri developed according to the style of young people? 2) How student’s creativity in making packaging for Batik Tiga Negeri products is not only attractive, useful, but also can be an effective communication medium. In other words, from the work produced, it will further clarify the role of packaging for Batik Tiga Negeri handicraft products other than as a wrapper. The method used is community service in the form of training. Beginning with providing material to young people as the nation's next generation, about the archipelago's wastra, especially batik. Training on making designs on packaging to wrap Tiga Negeri batik products, in order to produce a unique packaging with the main motif idea of   Batik Tiga Negeri. The purpose of this activity is to make students aware of the importance of maintaining the ancestral heritage which is the wealth of this nation.

The purpose of this community service activity is to implement language politeness by using Javanese uploads according to the right situation and context on social media. The methods used include expository, discussion, modeling and observation. The results of the service show that there are still many teenagers today who are reluctant to use Javanese to communicate in the virtual world and the real world. Some teenagers also still feel shy when invited to communicate using Javanese. The service team tried to invite participants to do hands-on practice using the modeling method. Participants are invited to interact using good and correct Javanese according to the level of speech and the interlocutor. The communication carried out is conveying information, opinions, suggestions, criticisms that are often done in the virtual world and the real world.

Abstract Solo is a traffic lane for drug trafficking because of its position in the middle. Apart from being a route for drug trafficking, Solo is the city with the highest drug abuse in Central Java compared to other cities. The problem of drugs must be continuously communicated to all components of society, especially among the younger generation. For this reason, the Slamet Riyadi University Community Service Team conducts effective communication training for anti-drug volunteers as team partners so that they have the capacity to inform the younger generation about the dangers of drugs. The purpose of this service is to improve the competence (knowledge, attitudes and behavior) and integrity of Anti-Narcotics Volunteers and to increase the communication capacity of Anti-Narcotics Volunteers so that they can work well and professionally, and show maximum performance. The activities carried out are effective communication training for anti-drug volunteers. The output of this service is the journal Senadimas UNISRI. Selain sebagai jalur peredaran narkoba, Solo adalah kota dengan penyalahgunaan narkoba tertinggi di Jawa Tengah dibanding kota -kota lainnya. Permasalahan narkoba harus terus dikomunikasikan kepada seluruh komponen masyarakat terutama para kalangan generasi muda. Untuk itu Tim Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Universitas Slamet Riyadi melakukan pelatihan komunikasi efektif kepada para relawan anti narkoba sebagai mitra tim agar memiliki kapasitas untuk menginformasikan kepada generasi muda tentang bahaya narkoba. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan kompetensi (pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku) dan integritas Relawan Anti Narkotika serta untuk meningkatkan kapasitas komunikasi Relawan Anti Narkotika agar dapat bekerja dengan baik dan profesional, serta menunjukkan kinerja maksimal. Kegiatan yang dilakukan adalah pelatihan komunikasi efektif bagi relawan anti narkoba. Luaran dari pengabdian ini adalah jurnal Senadimas UNISRI. This community service is in the form of delivering material exposure to the Implementation of 4C in the 21st Century Era in Integrative Thematic Learning to Teachers of SD Mojosongo III Surakarta. Community service by presenting teachers, school principals and in material presentation and interactive question and answer events to the level of mastery of SD Mojosongo III Surakarta teachers regarding the Implementation of 4C in the 21st Century Era in Integrative Thematic Learning for SD Mojosongo III Surakarta Teachers is intended to be able understand the essence of 4C in learning to support the smoothness of the learning process as well as theoretical clarity and a better understanding of learning, learning objects and learning situations and conditions in elementary schools. The delivery of this material to all teachers at SD Mojosongo III Surakarta, school principals and school supervisors totaling 25 teachers, both classroom and sports teachers, religion teachers and art teachers from parallel classes at the school. With the hope of teachers in the learning process in the classroom so that aspects of teacher knowledge and skills can further improve the abilities and professionalism of primary school teachers. Providing a scientific basis for elementary school teachers in understanding the essence of 4C Implementation in the 21st Century Era in Integrative Thematic Learning which consists of Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking and Creativity, and provide theoretical clarity and understanding better about learning, learning objects and learning situations and conditions in Primary Schools. Pendidik dituntut untuk selalu mengembangkan kompetensi pedagogik dan profesionalnya baik ditingkat PAUD, Sekolah Dasar, Sekolah menengah bahkan Perguruan tinggi. Salah satu bentuk kompetensi pedagogik dan profesional seorang pendidik adalah kemampuanya dibidang penguasaan (ICT) Information Communication Technologi. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan yang dilakukan ke TK Rumah Pelangi, Dukuh Banukan RT.06/RW.09 DS. Malangjiwan, Colomadu, Karanganyar penguasaan dan pemanfaatan guru terhadap ICT sangat minim terlebih lagi dalam proses pembuatan media karena masih melum terbiasa dan belum terlatih dalam membuat media berbasis ICT. Sehingga perlu diadakan pelatihan melalui program pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Tujuan yang hendak dicapai dari program pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pemahaman dan keterampilan membuat media pembelajaran berbasis ICT yang berupa Powerpoin menarik, Flipbook dan Comiclife yang di aplikasikan dalam proses pembelajaran.Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian meliputi: (1) metode pendekatan yang dilakukan mulai tahap survei, perijinan, dan pemberian motivasi bagi guru yang akan mengikuti pelatihan (2) metode pelaksanaan program, meliputi tahap pendahuluan, tahap sosialisasi dan audiensi, tahap pelaksanaan, serta tahap evaluasi akhir.Hasil yang dicapai dalam pengabdian ini telah mencapai target yang diharapkan, 9 guru yang mengikuti pelatihan, telah mampu membuat media pembelajaran berbasis ICT yang terdiri dari Powerpoin menarik, Flipbook, dan Comiclife. Luaran yang dihasilkan berupa media pembelajaran berbasis ICT serta implementasi media pembelajaran yang digunakan pada materi tertentu dan publikasi artikel pengabdian dalam jurnal ilmiah.Kata Kunci: Pembuatan Media, ICT

The data existing in Trade Service shows out of 5,817 street sellers registered, some of them have not been arranged completely by Surakarta City Government. New Klewer Market opened officially on April 21, 2017 by Trade Service can arrange the placement of sellers better in New Klewer Market. Process of validating Klewer Market’s seller data completed by City Government indicates that 2,211 sellers will be arranged and placed, passing through a procedure including registering, problem mapping, scheduling, and requirement communicated to all sellers. Similarly, the Street Sellers affiliated with Klewer Market Yard Sellers Association (Paguyuban Pedagang Pelataran Pasar Klewer, thereafter called P4K) have been arranged on the fourth floor of new Klewer Market building, consisting of more than 900 sellers. All yard sellers should know environment orderliness organized by management and should comply with it. The problems faced by the sellers not permitted to transfer their shanties to others have been apparently understood by sellers. City Government attempted to establish more intensive and better communication, in socializing the rules to the sellers. Cooperation between City Government and organizers and sellers to maintain the environmental orderliness in Klewer Market is expected to implement the arrangement of Yard Sellers in Klewer Market of Surakarta corresponding to the arrangement program. There are symptoms of children in Alif Tsalatsa Surakarta experienced communication apprehension from the counseling interview conducted by the author to some children in the boarding school is a number of children when chatting with friends, as if the conversation is cornered him and then away from the crowd and choose alone when his friend was just joking. In addition one of the children said that if communicating with his friend even if it was just a casual conversation he felt confused to position himself, if gathered together in a small group between lodgers look worried, depressed from the sweaty hands, and nervous looking confused in starting the conversation and was afraid the topic was unattractive. In addition, if there is a problem with his friend, the student does not dare to express his heart. He prefers silence because when spoken of he is afraid of tipping the problem and afraid if the child is abandoned his friends.The training of group guidance services is able to cope with communication apprehension (In Children In Alif Tsalatsa Surakarta).
