This Final Project report discusses the visual design process by the author as Director of Photography (DoP) in the creation of a feature video entitled "Bamboo Melody: Reviving a Traditional Symphony." This work aims to highlight the challenges faced in preserving the art of angklung music in the modern era, particularly the low interest of Generation Z in traditional culture. Angklung, which is one of Indonesia's cultural heritages, is experiencing a regeneration crisis, where the successors of this tradition are decreasing. In this context, it is important to convey the meaning and cultural values of angklung to the younger generation in a relevant and engaging way. The method of writing this report uses a descriptive approach that includes three production stages: pre-production, production, and post-production. Each stage is designed systematically and reflectively to ensure that the intended message is well received by the audience. In the pre-production stage, the author designed a visual concept that aligns with the theme and purpose of the work, namely to depict the meaningful philosophy of the angklung sound. In the production stage, shooting techniques were carefully selected to ensure aesthetics and clear communication in each frame. The results of the application of appropriate shooting techniques are proven to be able to present the philosophical value of angklung aesthetically and communicatively. Through powerful visuals, viewers can experience the depth of meaning behind this traditional musical instrument. Furthermore, this work concludes with testimonials from young angklung players and an angklung performance at Saung Angklung Udjo, illustrating concrete efforts to preserve angklung culture. This section emphasizes the importance of youth involvement in cultural regeneration, demonstrating that with a creative approach, the angklung's sound philosophy can be revived and well-received by Generation Z. Therefore, this work not only conveys solutions in the form of discourse but also provides a concrete illustration of cultural preservation through contemporary media that is accessible and understandable to the younger generation.

Nutritional issues in Indonesia continue to pose a significant public health challenge and necessitate early educational interventions. Children aged 7 to 9, categorized as part of Generation Alpha, are digital natives who are beginning to develop logical thinking abilities and demonstrate a strong preference for audiovisual content. In response, a two-dimensional digital animation entitled “MIGI: Makan Minum Bergizi” was developed as an educational medium. This project aims to implement the animation principles of appeal, exaggeration, and squash & stretch, which serve as the foundation for communication and visual quality in animation. The animation was produced using Adobe After Effects with the keyframe animation technique, resulting in the application of the appeal principle through uniquely simple internal organ character designs, bright and contrasting color palettes, and the use of symbolic language relevant to the target audience. The exaggeration principle was applied to dramatize movement and emotional shifts, while squash & stretch was implemented using scale transformation and puppet tools, maintaining volume consistency. These three animation principles were consciously and conceptually applied to enhance the visual appeal and communicative effectiveness of the educational message, making the work an engaging and potentially impactful learning medium.

This project aims to implement the AIDA and StoryBrand models in writing the script for the Educourse company profile video, with the aim of increasing the effectiveness of business communication. This project uses a practice-based approach by compiling a structured script through the integration of the AIDA (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action) model to create a persuasive message and the StoryBrand framework to strengthen narrative coherence. The writing process includes identifying core messages, compiling an outline, and creating a final draft based on the principles of strategic communication and storytelling. The result of this project is a final script ready for production, containing the latest information about the company, user testimonials, and visual directions optimized for the YouTube digital platform. The application of both models allows for clearer, more engaging messages that are in line with Educourse's mission and audience. This project emphasizes the importance of implementing a structured communication model in media production and can be a reference in writing scripts that focus on branding strategies in the future. In addition, this project also contributes to the development of academic discourse in the field of digital content writing through the application of relevant theoretical approaches.
