The development of Islamic finance in Indonesia shown significant growth as alternative financial system based Islamic principles. Data from Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) shows the number of Hajj savings accounts reached 5.5 million accounts as of November 2024 and increased to 6.33 million in July 2025. This growth reflects the high level of public enthusiasm in preparing for Hajj funds early on through Islamic financial institutions. In various regions of South Sumatra, BSI has become one of the institutions widely used by the public to open Hajj savings accounts due to its service network and ease of access. The village of Pagar Banyu has great potential for increasing the use of Sharia-based Hajj savings, particularly through the dissemination of information about BSI products. Through appropriate outreach activities, the public can understand wadiah contracts, the benefits of hajj savings, and the process of opening an account and registering for a hajj quota. In this context, Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) plays an important role as it is one of the largest Islamic banks. The target audience for this outreach activity is the general public in Pagar Banyu Village, Pagaralam City, South Sumatra Province. This study aims to improve Islamic financial literacy among people Pagar Banyu Village, particularly regarding Hajj savings at BSI, by providing practical understanding of how to open a Hajj savings account, requirements, procedures, and benefits, and encouraging community to start planning for pilgrimage by saving gradually and building awareness of importance of managing finances in accordance with Islamic principles.

Traditional snack micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia face increasing market competition and rapidly changing consumer preferences, particularly among younger consumers seeking innovative and symbolic food experiences. This community engagement study aims to strengthen the profitability and sustainability of traditional snack MSMEs by integrating local flavor innovation with simple business governance practices. Using a participatory action research approach under the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program in Palangka Raya, this study involved co-creation between students and local entrepreneurs in product development, production standardization, and basic financial management. Qualitative data were collected through participatory observation and stakeholder discussions, while quantitative data were obtained from sales records and simple financial reports. The results demonstrate that local flavor-based innovation, combined with standardized operating procedures and cost control mechanisms, improved product differentiation, operational efficiency, and financial performance. The intervention generated a positive net profit and strengthened the partner’s capacity for independent business management. This study contributes to the literature by positioning traditional food MSMEs as sites of cultural innovation and micro-governance, while supporting Sustainable Development Goals related to inclusive economic growth, cultural preservation, and responsible production.

Kyriad Hotel Arra Cepu is a star-rated hotel located in Blora Regency that plays an important role in supporting tourism activities, business travel, and the development of the local hospitality industry. Despite its strategic position, initial observations and discussions with hotel management revealed several challenges related to service quality, which has not yet fully aligned with current hospitality industry standards. These challenges include limited continuous staff training, inconsistencies between employee competencies and established standard operating procedures, and insufficient professional communication skills. In response, a community service program was developed in the form of competency-based training specifically tailored to the needs of Kyriad Hotel Arra Cepu. The program aims to enhance human resource quality through structured and intensive training aligned with the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards in the hospitality sector, covering Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage Products, and Food and Beverage Service. The training was implemented using a participatory and hands-on approach supported by ongoing coaching. Training materials included hotel hygiene and sanitation, excellent service practices, telephone operator etiquette, and basic English communication. This program provides direct benefits by improving employee competence, professionalism, and guest satisfaction, while also supporting the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education and strengthening collaboration between academia and the hotel industry. The expected outcomes include improved staff skills, higher service quality, and a replicable training model for similar hotels.

The capacity of village officials to understand village legislative procedures is a key factor in realizing accountable and law-based village governance. However, conditions in Tanjung Village, Pademawu District, Pamekasan Regency indicate that village officials' understanding of the village regulation drafting process is still limited, and there are no regulations regarding the management of village tourism potential. This community service activity aims to improve the legislative capacity of village officials through technical assistance in drafting Village Regulations (Perdes). The method used was a participatory approach through field observations, Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), village legal education, and assistance in drafting simple academic papers and Perdes drafts. The activity results indicate an increased understanding of legislative mechanisms among village officials and the development of a draft Village Regulation on Village Tourism Management, which has been submitted to the Tanjung Village Government as one of the main outputs. Furthermore, this activity contributed to the formation of a local legal culture and increased village government participation in the legislative process. This mentoring model can be replicated in other villages as a strategy to strengthen village governance based on regulations and local needs

Cahaya Amal Soleh Foundation is a social institution that focuses on community service through various institutional programs engaged in social, education, and community empowerment. However, a number of operational staff who do not have a financial background have difficulty in understanding and managing financial reports effectively. This study aims to assist staff through the On-the-Job Learning and Development Program (OLDP) themed Finance for Non-Finance with the SIAPIK (Islamic Boarding School and Social Charity Accounting Information System) application approach. The method used is a qualitative approach with a participatory model, involving direct training, transaction recording simulations, and evaluation of participant understanding. The results of the assistance showed a significant increase in staff understanding of basic accounting principles, transaction recording, and SIAPIK-based financial reporting. These findings indicate that a practical approach through an application based on the foundation's needs can improve the financial capacity of non-accounting staff. The implications of this activity reinforce the importance of digitizing the financial system of social organizations and the need for ongoing training for human resources so that accountable and transparent financial governance can be realized sustainably. In addition, the results of this program highlight that the integration of technology and participatory training can overcome barriers in financial literacy among non-finance staff. The SIAPIK application provides an accessible interface and structured modules that are easy to understand, thereby reducing the complexity usually associated with financial management. Staff who previously felt unconfident in processing financial transactions gradually gained competence and independence in applying accounting procedures. The training also fostered collaborative learning, where participants supported each other in solving case simulations, enhancing not only technical knowledge but also teamwork and problem-solving skills. Furthermore, the foundation’s management expressed that the program positively contributed to institutional performance by ensuring more reliable and transparent financial reporting.

Community participation in the formation of Village Regulations (Perdes) is an important indicator in realizing transparent, democratic, and responsive village governance to the needs of residents. However, in Teluk Kapuas Village, the level of community participation in the process is still relatively low. This is evident from the minimal involvement of residents and village officials in understanding the mechanisms and urgency of Perdes preparation. Based on these conditions, Community Service (PKM) activities were carried out with the aim of increasing the knowledge, understanding, and awareness of the community and village officials regarding the importance of active involvement in Perdes formation. The problems raised in this activity include: (1) the level of knowledge and understanding of village officials regarding the procedures for Perdes formation; and (2) factors that hinder the community from participating optimally. The methods used were lectures and interactive discussions involving village officials and community representatives. The results of the activities showed that the understanding of village officials and the community was still limited, so that participation in Perdes formation was not optimal. Through this PKM activity, it is hoped that there will be an increase in the understanding, awareness, and involvement of the Teluk Kapuas Village community in the Perdes formulation process so that it can produce village regulations that are more participatory and meet the needs of residents.

In the evolving dynamics of Indonesia's economy, unsecured loans or Kredit Tanpa Agunan (KTA) have rapidly grown as a popular financial solution. The ease of application and fund disbursement makes these products especially attractive to micro-entrepreneurs and lower-middle-income communities. However, behind the convenience lies a serious issue: a high rate of default or breach of contract (wanprestasi). This problem is exacerbated by the low level of legal literacy among the public, leading to a lack of understanding of their rights and obligations in financing agreements. Most individuals are also unaware that there is a faster, simpler, and low-cost legal mechanism available for resolving civil disputes—namely, the Small Claims Court procedure, as regulated by the Supreme Court Regulation (Perma) No. 4 of 2019. This mechanism can be utilized by the general public, especially clients of microfinance institutions and credit cooperatives, to resolve civil conflicts involving claims of up to IDR 500 million without going through complex litigation. To address this issue, this community engagement activity aimed to improve public legal understanding of the Small Claims Procedure through participatory-based training. The training involved 50 participants from microfinance institutions and savings and loan cooperatives. The methods used included legal counseling, mock court simulations, group discussions, and case studies to provide participants with practical knowledge of the procedures and benefits of filing small claims. The results of the activity indicated that 78% of participants reported a better understanding of the Small Claims mechanism after the training, and 65% stated they were more inclined to use it compared to conventional litigation routes. This training had a positive impact on raising legal awareness, potentially reducing default rates, and contributing to the development of a more inclusive, fair, and sustainable financial system.

The rapid technological developments of this decade have had a positive impact on the transparency of information in financial reports. Transparent financial report information demonstrates the quality of the financial reports. Public accountants are tasked with providing an opinion on the fairness of the presented financial reports. The standard used by a public accountant in assessing the fairness of financial reports is the Public Accounting Auditing Standards (SPAP). The SPAP contains guidelines for carrying out the audit cycle systematically and in accordance with procedures, starting from the pre-engagement, planning, and reporting stages. Therefore, it is crucial to conduct audit report preparation training for prospective auditors, conducted by a team of lecturers from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Dian Nuswantoro University through a community service program. This community service activity took as participants prospective auditors from STIE Semarang students at KAP Sarastanto and Rekan in Semarang City. This activity was carried out so that prospective auditors could be provided with the knowledge and skills to complete the audit cycle from pre-engagement to reporting. The methods used in this community service program were presentations and mentoring, while the training material for preparing audit reports was carried out by the community service team and practitioners (auditors) from KAP Sarastanto and Rekan. The results of this training show that prospective auditors (STIE Semarang students) are able to understand the audit cycle systematically and are able to realize the importance of audit reports for stakeholders.

Community health services are the most important part of supporting community health. Puskesmas is a health institution that is very close to the community. Therefore, it is important to pay attention to supporting facilities and infrastructure in the medical records work unit such as work equipment, work procedures, work processes or systems, work environment, employee physiology and psychology so that medical records officers more productive at work. Based on observations made at the West Baktiya Community Health Center, it was found that the area of the medical records unit was 5 x 5 m2 with a ceiling height of 3 m, using a white ceramic floor, there were 6 windows, 1 door, 2 staff work desks and 3 cupboards for Save correspondence and other important documents. Lighting in the medical records unit room is 259 lux, noise is 53.3-62.0 dB, temperature in the medical records unit room is 33.1oC and humidity is 70%. In the medical records unit room there are no chemical substances in solid, liquid or gas form, and there are also no vectors or disease-carrying animals such as flies, mosquitoes, cockroaches and rats. This community service activity was carried out among the members of the Sakinah Tailors' social gathering in the Kampung Bali sub-district of Sungai Serut, Bengkulu City. The members of the Sakinah Tailors' social gathering have the potential to grow because the members or partners already have sewing skills or their own sewing businesses. This is a supporting factor in developing a cooperative. However, they are constrained by limited knowledge about the procedures for forming a cooperative, capital, and how to prepare cooperative financial reports. So far, the members of the Penjahit Sakinah sewing circle have been carrying out savings and loan activities, but the administrators still carry out savings and loan activities in a conventional manner, so they want to form a sharia savings and loan cooperative. Therefore, the Community Service Team from the Faculty of Economics and Business wants to conduct socialization and assistance activities for the formation of a sharia-based savings and loan cooperative. The method used is through direct socialization and assistance activities using the Excel application, followed by posting, adjusting journals, and reporting activities.

The BPJS Employment Program is one of the crucial aspects of providing socio-economic protection for Indonesian society, especially Generation Z (Gen Z), who are entering the workforce. This service aims to enhance understanding of the BPJS Employment Program through education conducted within the Young Helper community, a volunteer organization committed to creating positive societal changes and part of Gen Z. This service also aims to increase the participatory role of Gen Z in the BPJS Employment Program, which provides socio-economic security. The method employed in this service is educational, involving interactive material presentation with data sources from literature studies, questionnaires, interviews, and field observations. Our service includes educating about the BPJS Employment Program such as eligibility criteria, technical implementation, program types, and registration procedures. The education we provide yields outputs such as pamphlets, PowerPoint presentations, educational videos, and posters, each of which highlights crucial information about the BPJS Employment Program. Our service results indicate an improvement in understanding and participatory willingness among participants to enroll in the BPJS Employment Program.

The growth of many taxable entrepreneurs (PKP) is proof of good economic growth for a country. The aim of this MSME training program is that the aim of entrepreneurial training is not to direct people or SMEs to create new businesses, but to help SMEs to see business opportunities and new markets by looking at them from a different angle. This different angle is more directed at the need for new innovations from businesses that are currently being run and ensuring business continuity. This activity can increase sales and profits, expand target markets, deepen customer loyalty, and increase competitive advantage (Perwita, 2021). The benefits obtained from this activity are for participants to gain knowledge and product promotion. Increased product orders from a wider target market will also be obtained. Apart from that, this activity also provides social learning for the implementing team, namely students. Students interpret the knowledge gained on campus by providing benefits to many people. Students also carry out downstream research and interpret knowledge for the progress of SMEs. Increased product orders from a wider target market will also be obtained. The method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR). From the results of the service, it can be concluded that this MSME training was carried out so that Konveksi Aura consumers would increase and expand from various regions. This MSME training uses Instagram media which will be filled with content and product videos. This video content is in the form of product manufacturing procedures, types of products produced, and profiles, pachaking designs. The content video is published on the durian village Instagram account.

Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOP) and the production process layout play an essential role in food production so that product quality complies with standards and food safety. The problem faced by the partner (UD Sumber Rejeki) is that there is no SSOP and a good production space layout. This community service (PkM) aims to assist partners in making SSOP and production space layouts so that the products produced comply with quality and food safety standards. The methods used are the active participation approach (partners play an active role during PkM), the activity orientation approach (assisting partners in making SSOP and production space layout), and the SSOP implementation approach and production space layout. The result of this PkM is the enthusiasm and activeness of partners during assistance in making SSOP and layout of production space. Another result is the availability of SSOP and the layout of the production room, which is placed in the production room.

In this research, in stabilizing the economy in an area in Surabaya and targeting market operating procedures, the Government and PT. Jatim Grha Utama also has a role in advancing the economy of the people of Surabaya. The government continues to push for price stabilization measures to reduce the prices of a number of foodstuffs which show an upward trend until the end of the year. As a concrete step to ease the burden on the community in meeting their basic food needs, the Coordinating Ministry for the Economy has taken several comprehensive and holistic steps to analyze and overcome the various problems mentioned above through policy and tactical steps. Domain in the form of market power. Apart from food prices, rising fertilizer prices are also a concern. The Coordinating Minister for Airlangga also conducted a review of a fertilizer kiosk to show the government's commitment to ensuring the availability of fertilizer for farmers and increasing agricultural productivity and competitiveness.
