Literacy is a fundamental skill essential for academic, social, and cultural development, yet interest in and culture surrounding literacy remain low in rural areas such as Desa Toapaya, Indonesia. This community service program aimed to strengthen basic literacy at SDN 005 Toapaya through a collaborative and integrative approach involving the school, university students, the Bintan Library Office, families, and local communities. The method employed was participatory and collaborative, implementing the SIBER CERDAS program (Synergy of Interactive Learning, Literacy, and Numeracy), which included shared reading, interactive discussions, quizzes, writing and storytelling competitions, and interactive numeracy activities. The results showed increased student motivation and participation in literacy and numeracy activities, as well as improved confidence in oral expression. Additionally, there was a noticeable improvement in students’ engagement with reading materials. Challenges faced included limited reading materials, inconsistent literacy habits at home, and lack of awareness about the importance of regular literacy practice. To ensure sustainability, ongoing support from schools, families, and local government, along with strengthened cooperation with libraries and communities, is necessary. Encouraging active participation and fostering a habit of regular reading is crucial for the long-term success of such initiatives. This program successfully created an inclusive and sustainable literacy ecosystem and serves as an adaptable model for similar rural communities, offering valuable lessons in community-driven educational development.

This community service program is designed to address the need for digitalization in administrative management and improve digital literacy in schools. The main focus of the activity is training on the use of Google Workspace as an integrated knowledge management system to improve work efficiency and collaboration among staff. Problems faced by schools include the continued use of manual administrative systems and a low understanding of how to use digital platforms. The training was conducted as a workshop with a learning-by-doing approach, allowing participants to learn directly and contextually. The training material covered the operation of various Google Workspace features, such as Google Forms, Sheets, Calendar, Docs, Drive, and Meet. This activity was designed so that participants not only understand the function of each application but also are able to integrate them into daily administrative activities. The training evaluation was conducted through pre- and post-tests, which showed a significant increase in participants' technical understanding. In addition to improving digital competency, this training also encouraged a shift in work culture towards a more collaborative, efficient, and data-driven one. The program's success demonstrates that digital transformation in educational environments can be achieved through an educational, participatory approach tailored to local needs. With positive results, this activity has the potential to be replicated in other educational institutions as a sustainable strategy for cloud-based administrative management. This training is proof that adopting digital technology in schools can strengthen administrative governance comprehensively and sustainably.

The documentary film “Thread by Thread: Mengurai Krisis Fast Fashion di Indonesia” is a 14-minute film that explores the environmental and social impacts of the fast fashion industry in Indonesia, along with the low public awareness of this issue. It highlights problems such as textile waste, labor exploitation, and the role of social media in reinforcing consumerist culture. “Thread by Thread” is designed as an educational tool to enhance public literacy and encourage more responsible and sustainable fashion consumption. During its creation, the writer served as the scriptwriter, responsible for crafting a factual and systematic narrative using an expository approach structured into three acts. Act I presents the factual context of fast fashion in Indonesia; Act II discusses its negative environmental impacts and the controversy over thrifting as an alternative solution, supported by data and interviews; and Act III offers sustainability-based solutions with an appeal for audiences to be critical and responsible in their fashion choices.
