The rupiah plays a vital role as a symbol of national identity and sovereignty, but awareness among rural communities about its function and importance is often limited. In Kutalimbaru Village, the main challenges identified are low monetary literacy, which results in physical damage to money and a lack of awareness about counterfeit money. Through the Real Work Lecture (KKN) program, community service efforts were carried out with the aim of internalizing the values of “Love, Pride, Understanding (CBP) of the Rupiah.” The approach used was community-based education through interactive workshops and practical demonstrations on money care techniques and an introduction to the security features of the Rupiah. Findings in the field show a transformation in the community's attitude; from being indifferent to being more careful in handling paper money and better understanding the role of the Rupiah in economic stability. This program has succeeded in increasing the financial literacy of citizens while strengthening the spirit of nationalism through appreciation of the national currency. Keywords: community empowerment, micro businesses, tempeh products, entrepreneurship, Sialaman Village.

This study examines the implementation of Fardhu kifayah counseling in Telagah Village, Sei Bingai District, Langkat Regency, focusing on the social and cultural problems and challenges faced by the local community. Telagah Village is known for its rich history, strong traditions, and local wisdom that shape its social life. However, in the practice of handling the deceased, several issues remain, including limited community knowledge, lack of regeneration among younger members, inadequate facilities, and the absence of a designated team responsible for the Fardhu kifayah process. These limitations often lead to dependence on a few individuals who possess the necessary skills, creating sustainability concerns in the long run. Furthermore, cultural aspects such as conservative norms, gender role divisions, and deeply rooted customs influence how the community perceives and accepts Fardhu kifayah counseling. The study highlights that successful implementation requires not only technical guidance but also sensitivity to local values and traditions. Strengthening community participation and fostering collaboration between religious leaders and local authorities are essential to ensure the sustainability and effectiveness of Fardhu kifayah education in Telagah Village.

Community diagnosis is a strategic step that aims to identify fundamental problems in the community, determine problem priorities, and formulate appropriate solutions to overcome them. One of the identified health issues is a significant increase in cases of mumps (epidemic parotitis), an acute infectious disease caused by the mumps virus, a member of the Rubulavirus genus. This increase in cases was recorded in the Puskesmas work area from the beginning of the year to November 2024. This phenomenon raises concerns regarding the potential for widespread health problems at the community level. Therefore, this intervention activity was carried out with the hope of reducing the incidence of mumps in the Puskesmas work area. The methodology applied in this activity includes data collection through mini surveys, analysis of health determinants using the Blum Paradigm, determination of problem priorities through the Delphi method, and identification of root causes using a fishbone diagram. Based on the results of this analysis, the interventions implemented include counseling on mumps and preventive measures, as well as demonstrations of proper hand washing. The results of the intervention showed a significant increase in knowledge, where all participants (n=40, 100%) obtained a post-test score of ≥ 7, indicating a good understanding of the material presented. In the demonstration session, a number of participants were also able to demonstrate the steps for washing hands according to the correct procedure. From the results of the analysis, it was found that the increase in mumps cases in this area was closely related to community lifestyle factors. Therefore, this intervention is expected to not only increase community knowledge about mumps, but also encourage the implementation of clean and healthy living behaviors, especially in the practice of washing hands, as a preventive measure to reduce the number of transmissions and accelerate case handling.

Handling drug abuse is one of the main focuses in the Prevention and Eradication of Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (P4GN) efforts in Indonesia. In this context, medical and social rehabilitation plays an important role as a recovery effort for addicts to return to optimal functioning in society. This community service activity uses a qualitative approach with a combination of observation, interview, and digital-based direct intervention methods in handling medical and social rehabilitation for drug abusers. This community service activity successfully implemented a digital-based medical and social rehabilitation strategy in supporting the P4GN program with a smart power approach. A web-based information system and mobile application designed to facilitate registration, monitoring, and mentoring of rehabilitation patients were successfully developed. This system provides easy access to information for the community and drug abusers to register and obtain rehabilitation services efficiently without having to come directly to the rehabilitation facility. The digital rehabilitation system is integrated with national electronic medical record platforms (such as SIRENA and the Ministry of Health's SATU SEHAT service), thus facilitating coordination between institutions and ensuring continuous monitoring of client health during and after the rehabilitation period. This community service activity successfully demonstrated that the handling of medical and social rehabilitation in a digital-based P4GN strategy with a smart power approach is an effective solution in an effort to realize a drug-free society. The smart power approach that integrates hard power (law enforcement) and soft power (prevention, community empowerment, and rehabilitation) with the support of digital information technology can improve the accessibility, effectiveness, and quality of rehabilitation services.

Post-harvest handling of fish requires an effective cold chain system, including the availability of ice factories, to preserve the quality and freshness of catches. The presence of an ice factory enables fishermen to bring ice during fishing trips, ensuring the catch remains safe for consumption. The planning of a portable mini ice factory in Ciwaru Village, located within the Ciletuh National Geopark, aims to maintain fish quality along the southern coast of West Java. Although several ice factories exist in Sukabumi Regency, their availability at fish landing sites such as the Ciwaru Fish Auction Place (TPI) remains insufficient. According to the Regulation of the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries No. 2 of 2021, assistance for ice factory construction is provided to fishermen groups following a feasibility study submission. This community service project aims to assist fishermen cooperatives in improving cold chain management and preparing a feasibility study for ice factory development. Key issues identified include limited human resource competence, hygiene and sanitation challenges, feasibility study preparation, and internal communication enhancement within cooperatives. Solutions are implemented through training programs, cold chain method applications, feasibility analysis for mini ice factories, and the development of an information system for fishermen. The planned ice factory unit has a capacity of 1 ton per 8-hour cycle, supported by three freshwater wells near the site. Economic analysis reveals an NPV of Rp1,170,676,141, an IRR of 10.91%, and a Net B/C Ratio of 1.64, with a BEP at 311 tons/year, well below the installed capacity of 788 tons/year, confirming its economic viability. The resulting feasibility study will serve as the basis for applying for government assistance, complemented by scientific publications, national media coverage, video documentation, and intellectual property registration.

Community participation is the main key to success in preventing the spread of the Covid-19 outbreak. Social distancing and physical distancing are implemented to cut the chain of spread of the virus. Some people have consciously followed this social restriction mechanism, but some have not participated. This paper examines community participation in preventing the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia. Handling the spread of this virus can be carried out well if the community participates in following the government's advice to always maintain a safe distance from one another, one of which is to stay at home. Covid-19 is an epidemic virus and has the potential for a public health emergency. In the Bangorejo sub-district itself, the government and various local community institutions in dealing with this epidemic have implemented several programs and policies to minimize and prevent the Covid-19 outbreak, but in reality some people do not heed the appeals and directions from the government or social institutions.

Waste is one of society's main problems in environmental management which until now does not have an appropriate handling solution. This is due to the community's habit of still implementing collection, transport and disposal in waste management, as well as the unavailability of suitable locations in each village that can be used as waste management sites. This waste problem is also experienced by residents of Sokawera Hamlet, Ciwuni Village, Kesugihan District. The waste produced by residents is usually collected and then burned. This waste management problem must be addressed immediately because it can affect the quality of life and the quality of the village environment. The effort taken is not to provide or create a waste disposal area, but rather to invite the public to start caring and being aware of the importance of managing waste wisely and correctly. This community empowerment activity is carried out by holding outreach and establishing a waste bank to change people's mindset about waste, mentoring, comparative studies, and establishing a Waste Bank to manage waste so that it can have economic value. With the formation of the Soka Resik waste bank, it is hoped that in the future it will become the spearhead in waste management.

The current state of the war against COVID-19 requires people to be active at home, keep their distance, wear masks and other healthy living habits. Almost all activities that we normally can do outside the home freely, such as school, work, play, lectures and others, have been restricted since the Covid-19 outbreak. On the other hand, of course, there are economic factors that make people continue to do activities outside the home. Seeing this situation, the acceleration of handling COVID-19 must be carried out thoroughly and involve all parties who take universities. In Ringintunggal village, residents work as farmers, usually growing rice, beans, soybeans, secondary crops, and others. But here there are also lots of crystal guavas owned by residents, so don't be surprised if we enter Ringintunggal village there will be lots of guava trees around people's homes, and there are several crystal guava gardens that are quite wide owned by residents. But with the abundance of guava fruit, it is not accompanied by the innovation of processed crystals. Therefore we saw that this was a problem in the village and we were moved to take action for the residents of Ringintunggal village by providing understanding and training on the potential assets owned by Ringintunggal village.
