Learning motivation is one of the important factors that influence the success of the learning process. Lack of student learning motivation often becomes an obstacle in achieving optimal learning outcomes. This article aims to examine how an active learning approach can improve student learning motivation in a formal educational environment. An active learning approach directly involves students in the learning process, either through group discussions, case studies, experiments, or simulations, thus creating a more meaningful and enjoyable learning experience. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method by collecting data from literature studies, classroom observations, and interviews with teachers and students at the junior high school level. The results of the study show that the implementation of active learning consistently can foster students' sense of responsibility for the learning process, increase self-confidence, and build a high sense of curiosity. In addition, the interaction between students and teachers becomes more dynamic, which ultimately contributes to increasing students' enthusiasm for learning. It can be concluded that active learning is not only able to increase students' intrinsic motivation but also create a more collaborative and interactive learning environment. Therefore, teachers are advised to integrate active learning strategies into the teaching process as an effort to build a productive and enjoyable learning culture. This approach is one of the effective solutions in facing the challenges of education in the modern era that demands active participation and full involvement from students.

The advancement of information and communication technology has revolutionized educational paradigms, demanding the presence of innovative and contextual learning methods. One transformative approach that is increasingly being adopted in the context of elementary education is the Virtual Field Trip (VFT) a digital-based field trip simulation that allows students to explore various educational locations virtually. This article aims to thoroughly analyze the implementation of VFT in elementary-level learning using a qualitative approach based on grounded research and life-history methods. Through observation techniques, in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and the analysis of digital and audiovisual documents, this study reveals three main findings:  (1) VFT can broaden students' horizons and sharpen their imagination by virtually bridging real learning experiences; (2) This approach enhances student engagement and enthusiasm through immersive visual and interactive presentations; and (3) Learning becomes more meaningful and contextual, as students can understand concepts directly and in an applied manner. The analysis shows that VFT is not only a pedagogical solution to physical and geographical limitations but also a strategic tool to promote critical thinking, global awareness, and cross-cultural understanding from an early age. Nevertheless, the effectiveness of VFT implementation is highly influenced by technological readiness, educators’ digital competence, as well as institutional and parental support. Therefore, a comprehensive and adaptive implementation strategy is needed to optimize the potential of VFT as an inclusive and sustainable future learning instrument in elementary schools.

This study aims to determine the influence of interactive learning media on basic mathematics understanding in MIN 7 Tapteng. Interactive media in mathematics education such as simulations, animations, and educational games allow for a more interesting and fun way of learning so as to increase learning motivation. This type of research is quantitative research using the experimental method. The population in this study is all grade I students in MIN 7 Tapteng and the sample is 30 students. The research instrument used is a written test in the form of a description.  Meanwhile, the data analysis techniques used are normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis test. The results of the study show that there is an influence of interactive learning media on basic mathematics understanding in MIN 7 Tapteng. This can be seen from the average score of the pretest is 49.2 and the average score of the posttest is 72.6. Based on these results, there is a significant increase in the understanding of Basic Mathematics in MIN 7 Tapteng by applying interactive learning media. Then based on the calculations carried out using the t-test, it shows that the tcount > ttable is 9.78 > 2.048.  From the test criteria, Ha is accepted, meaning that there is an influence of interactive learning media on basic mathematics understanding in MIN 7 Tapteng.

This research aims to increase the effectiveness of using interactive digital learning media in increasing students' understanding of mathematical concepts and learning motivation at the basic level. The research method used is a literature study by collecting and analyzing six selected articles that are relevant to the use of digital media in mathematics learning. The research results show that the use of interactive digital learning media increases students' understanding of mathematical concepts and learning motivation. Online applications such as Wordwall and digital image simulations such as MyWebAR are effective in teaching spatial shapes. Tools like Google Site and Google Classroom support bold learning. Digital media reduces misconceptions and increases interest in learning. There are various free websites available to choose suitable learning media. It is important for teachers to choose the right media for students.

One mathematical model in the form of a system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations is the predator-prey model. The predator-prey model explains population changes of one prey population and one predator population due to changes in time. The radial basis function network method is used to find a numerical solution to the predator-prey model. The radial basis function network method can directly approximate the function and derivative of the prey-prey model using a basis function. The basis function used is a multiquadric basis function. Numerical solutions using the radial basis function network method obtained from this research show high accuracy and low error. The absolute error obtained from the two simulations with Δt = 0.01 each is 0.0066 in the first simulation and 0.022 in the second simulation. The errors obtained are relatively small because each only represents 0.66% of the initial value of the first type and 0.5% of the initial value of the second type. This shows that the radial basis function network method is efficient in calculating the predator-prey model solution.
