This study aims to analyze the role of parents in improving children’s reading and writing literacy skills at SDN 08 Kurnia, Semedang Village, Kuala Behe Subdistrict, Landak Regency. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions based on the research findings. The results indicate that the role of parents in improving children’s reading and writing literacy skills in Semedang Village has not yet been fully realized. In terms of education, parental involvement remains limited due to a lack of understanding regarding effective learning support. In terms of motivation, parents have not consistently encouraged learning activities within the family. In terms of facilitation, the family’s economic constraints are one of the factors preventing the provision of literacy support materials, such as reading books and learning media. In terms of guidance, time constraints due to work demands have prevented the intensity of support for children’s learning activities from reaching its full potential. This situation is influenced by several factors, including internal factors such as parents’ educational backgrounds and family economic conditions, as well as external factors such as a surrounding environment that does not yet support a culture of literacy, the influence of peers, and the use of digital media. These factors have prevented the establishment of sustainable literacy activities within the family environment.

The quality of learning is one of the important factors in the success of the educational process. Teachers and principals have a very important role in creating effective and quality learning. Therefore, appropriate psychological strategies are needed in managing learning as well as improving teacher motivation and performance. This study aims to determine the psychological strategies used by teachers and principals in improving the quality of learning. The research method used in this study is a literature review by analyzing several journals related to educational management and educational psychology. The results of the study show that psychological strategies such as teacher work motivation, principal leadership, effective communication, and organizational conflict management can improve the quality of learning in educational institutions. In addition, the application of psychological approaches can create a more positive school climate, strengthen cooperation among educational stakeholders, and support the development of professional teacher behavior. The findings indicate that the success of learning quality improvement depends not only on instructional techniques, but also on emotional, motivational, and leadership factors within the school environment.

This study aims to analyze the adaptation of new students to academic workload in higher education and to identify the factors that influence their success or failure. The approach used is qualitative with a literature study. Data were analyzed thematically thru the stages of reduction, display, and conclusion drawing, resulting in key patterns regarding the dynamics of new student adaptation. The results show that the majority of new students experience difficulties in their first semester, especially when the credit load exceeds 20 credits and they are faced with complex assignment demands, periodic exams, and independent time management. This condition triggers academic stress, emotional exhaustion, decreased motivation, and even burnout, contributing to the high dropout rate in the first year. On the other hand, self-efficacy and emotional intelligence have been shown to act as protective factors capable of reducing stress levels and improving the effectiveness of coping strategies. Additionally, comprehensive orientation programs, time management workshops, academic advising, and a supportive campus environment have been proven to improve retention and accelerate the adaptation process. This research concludes that the adaptation of new students is a multidimensional process that requires both personal capacity building and systemic support from the university. The proposed recommendations include phased curriculum design, the development of instrument-based adaptation counselling services, and the implementation of a continuous mentoring program to reduce the risk of adaptation failure and optimize the academic potential of new students.

This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of inclusive education management at SMP Negeri 4 Babelan. Inclusive education is an educational approach that provides learning opportunities for all students without discrimination, including those with special educational needs (ABK). This concept emphasizes the importance of a friendly, adaptive, and responsive learning environment to student diversity. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies. Informants in this study consisted of the principal, regular teachers, special assistant teachers, students with special needs, and their parents. The results of the study indicate that inclusive education management at SMP Negeri 4 Babelan has been implemented through four main management functions, namely: (1) strategic planning integrated into the annual school work program, including budget allocation for inclusion needs; (2) organizing an inclusion team involving teachers, education staff, and the school committee; (3) implementing adaptive learning based on a differentiation and individualization approach, adjusted to students' abilities and learning styles; and (4) evaluations conducted periodically to assess students' academic and social-emotional development, as well as the effectiveness of the inclusion program as a whole. However, this study also identified several obstacles, including a limited number of special assistant teachers, a lack of professional training for regular teachers, and a lack of supporting facilities such as therapy rooms or learning aids. Furthermore, factors supporting the program's success include the school leadership's commitment to mainstreaming inclusion, a collaborative spirit among teachers, and the support and active involvement of parents. Based on these findings, this study recommends several strategic steps, such as strengthening teacher training in inclusive classroom management and adding special assistant teachers as needed.

Islamic educational institutions often face conflicts arising from misalignment between individual goals and institutional objectives, ineffective communication, and competition over resource utilization. Such conflicts, if not properly managed, can hinder organizational productivity. However, conflict management based on Islamic values, such as open dialogue, clarification, compromise, and accommodation, has proven to transform conflicts into opportunities for innovation, strengthen collaboration, and enhance productivity. This study adopts a literature review approach to analyze conflict management strategies aimed at improving the productivity of Islamic educational institutions. The findings reveal that a constructive approach to conflict management not only resolves issues but also fosters a harmonious and inclusive work environment. By employing strategies such as negotiation, mediation, and collaboration, conflicts can become drivers of innovation and organizational performance improvement. Moreover, the role of wise leadership in establishing policies based on Islamic values is crucial for creating a synergistic, productive, and competitive organization. The research sought to identify knowledge management and work quality and the relationship between them in the National Sports Federation in the game of gymnastics. Utilizing correlational correlations and the survey method, the researchers employed a descriptive strategy. The research community was determined from the workers in the National Sports Federation, numbering (120) workers. The community was divided into (20) workers for the exploratory experiment and (100) workers for the preparation and application experiment. The scientific foundations of the two scales (reliability and validity ) were used through the ability to distinguish, internal consistency and half-split. The researchers concluded that the prevailing work quality in the Federation has a set of constituent elements that the Federation must realize and work to balance between them to reach a better work environment that accompanies the activity of the workers. The researchers recommended that the Federation and the sample study must know the steps and mechanisms related to knowledge management and search for methods through which they can discover the relationship and impact with the performance of the working individuals and guide decision-makers in the Federation to the path that can be taken to reach that activity that links knowledge management and work quality.

Drug abuse among celebrities in Indonesia is increasingly widespread, as evidenced by the number of news events both on television, national news websites and even in magazines. Drug abuse among Indonesian celebrities seems to be a place of escape from the problems of the life they live. Of course, drug abuse can be detrimental to oneself, causing negative stigma, loss of work for the celebrity and others, especially if it is done by celebrities who can be a bad example for the community. Celebrities have an influential position in changing people's perspectives and mindsets. Drug abuse is a social problem that can be caused by factors that influence it, one of which is a lack of understanding of civic education. The importance of understanding and learning civic education from elementary school to college can change awake behavior and shape character in accordance with the value of the precepts contained in Pancasila. Civic education can be one part of prevention in some relevant cases, for example drug abuse. This is in line with the importance of civic education which has been explained in the Indonesian Law No.20 of 2003 concerning the national education system, chapter 10 regarding the curriculum, article 37 paragraphs 1 and 2 which explain that Civics Education is one of the lessons that are mandatory in the curriculum of basic education, secondary education to higher education. Character building in civic education will become a habit so that it cannot be influenced by the surrounding environment, so that drug abuse among celebrities only becomes a mere entertainment spectacle by the community and cannot be imitated and only becomes a lesson for bad examples in society.

This study investigates how English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learners' engagement and language skills are affected by project-based learning (PBL). In three cycles, twenty-eight seventh-graders participated in the research, which used a classroom action research (CAR) design in partnership with an English teacher. Student surveys, observation checklists, performance evaluations, and qualitative comments from the teacher and the students were used to gather data. According to the findings, PBL significantly increases student involvement; by the end of the cycle, 85% of students had shown consistent participation. Notably, motivation also rose, with 90% of students indicating a greater desire to learn English. There were gains in language proficiency; speaking and writing scores increased from 60% and 55% to 85% and 80%, respectively. Qualitative data showed that students felt more confident and enjoyed their learning, and they valued the PBL activities' applicability to the real world. The study also revealed problems, like lower-proficiency students' issues and initial resistance to group work, resolved with focused scaffolding and assistance. The results demonstrate that PBL can be a proper pedagogical strategy for raising student motivation and language acquisition. They also support the usefulness of PBL in fostering a more dynamic and successful EFL learning environment. Future studies could examine PBL's long-term effects and use in various educational settings.

In the context of the Industrial Era 4.0, which is characterized by the rapid development of digital technology and automation, consideration of individual physical fitness is becoming increasingly important. Physical health and fitness have a major impact on personal productivity in an ever-changing, digitally connected work environment. This article examines the relationship between fitness fitness and personal productivity during this period. Empirical studies and research literature support the assumption that fitness has a positive impact on individual productivity. People who maintain physical health tend to have higher energy levels, better stress tolerance, and better cognitive abilities. These factors are becoming increasingly important in a competitive, technology-driven work environment. However, there are challenges to implementing this concept effectively in the Industrial Era 4.0. Changes in work patterns, time pressures and the tendency to be attached to digital devices can hinder maintaining physical fitness. Therefore, organizations and individuals need to adopt a holistic approach, including healthy lifestyle habits, smart planning, and the use of technology to support work-life balance. Understanding the relationship between physical fitness and personal productivity in the Industry 4.0 Era allows companies to take proactive steps to improve the health and well-being of their employees, resulting in improved overall company performance and competitiveness.
