This study analyzes the impact of learning motivation levels on student attendance discipline at the Saint Ignasius Catholic Vocational School in Wairterang. The background of the problem highlights the low level of student attendance, which is caused by the lack of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation in the vocational education environment. This phenomenon impacts the effectiveness of learning and overall student achievement. The purpose of the study is to identify the causal relationship between learning motivation and attendance discipline, and to measure the significant influence of motivation variables on attendance discipline. The approach used is quantitative with a Likert-scale questionnaire survey method. The study sample involved students in grades X-XII at the Saint Ignasius Catholic Vocational School in Wairterang, with data analysis using simple linear regression to test the hypothesis. The results of the study are expected to show a positive and significant influence of learning motivation on attendance discipline. Practical implications include recommended strategies for guidance and counseling (BK) teachers, such as individual counseling programs, attendance-based reward systems, and the integration of intrinsic motivation through vocational extracurricular activities. These strategies are expected to improve learning effectiveness and build students' disciplined character in vocational high schools

This study analyzes the role of families and caregivers at Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha Wana Seraya Denpasar in implementing elderly care programs and examines the implications of these programs for the quality of life of older adults. Using a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach, data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Two theoretical frameworks guided the analysis: Carrolyn Smith-Morris’ Social Support Theory, which highlights the importance of emotional, informational, and instrumental support for elderly well-being, and Robert J. Havighurst’s Activity Theory, which states that active involvement in social, physical, and spiritual activities enhances happiness and life satisfaction in old age. The findings show that families’ involvement remains limited due to time and distance constraints, yet their emotional presence still contributes positively to the psychological comfort of the elderly. Caregivers play a dominant role in meeting the physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs of residents. The care program demonstrates positive implications, including improved health stability, increased social interaction, strengthened feelings of appreciation, and enhanced spiritual peace. Additionally, Balinese cultural values such as tatwam asi and menyama braya reinforce empathy, togetherness, and respectful relationships within the care system. The study concludes that synergy between families, caregivers, and local cultural values forms a crucial foundation for a meaningful and humane elderly care system.

The method used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through documentation techniques and analyzed using thematic methods. The results of the study indicate that success in delivering messages is greatly influenced by language choice, which depends on a number of factors, such as communication context, communication objectives, audience background and characteristics, media or communication channels, and relationships between speakers. The selection of appropriate language has been shown to improve message clarity, build emotional connections, strengthen the credibility of the communicator, avoid misunderstandings, and increase the appeal and memorability of the message. These findings emphasize the importance of choosing the right language in the communication process so that messages can be delivered effectively and easily understood as they should.

The background of this study is the low interest of students in speaking and the limited learning media that are interesting and in accordance with their age characteristics. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and speaking skills tests. The subjects in this research are fourth grade students of SDN Margasari 01 Balikpapan City. The results show that the use of digital comic media based on fable stories can increase students' courage in speaking, expand their vocabularies, and help students construct sentences more coherently and communicatively. Teachers and students also give positive responses to the media used because it is considered interesting, contextual, and in accordance with the learning needs. Thus, digital comic media based on fable stories can be an innovative alternative in learning Indonesian in elementary schools to improve the speaking skills of elementary school students.

Adaptive approach is an intervention strategy that places the unique needs of each child with mild autism as the center of attention, so that learning and therapy methods are flexibly adjusted to individual characteristics and abilities. This literature review examines how adaptive approach can increase the independence of children with mild autism through the active role of parents and the implementation of structured daily activities. Parents act as the main partners in the learning process, not only providing emotional support, but also becoming facilitators who help children apply the skills learned at school into everyday life at home. Structured daily activities provide clear and consistent routines, helping children understand and anticipate activities, thereby reducing anxiety and increasing focus in carrying out tasks. Stimulus-response techniques are an effective method in developing children's adaptive behavior, with positive reinforcement that motivates children to continue learning and repeating independent behavior. Close collaboration between teachers, therapists, and parents creates an adaptive and consistent learning environment, which allows children to develop independence gradually and sustainably. This study confirms that holistic interventions involving full support from parents and the implementation of structured daily activities are the keys to success in increasing the independence of children with mild autism.

Marriage is a legal relationship between two people recognized by the community based on applicable rules, and its form varies according to each culture. This research focuses on the perceptions of the people of Kranggan Wetan Village, Bekasi City, towards the wedding ceremony of the Believers of Aliran Kebatinan Perjalanan. The purpose is to describe the wedding ceremony process, understand the community's perception, and identify factors that influence the perception. This research uses descriptive method with qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. To maintain data validity, source triangulation techniques were used. The result of the research shows that the wedding ceremony process of Penghayat Kepercayaan Aliran Kebatinan Perjalanan is generally similar to the wedding in general. The community's perception of this ceremony is positive as long as it does not conflict with the prevailing norms and rules. Factors that influence people's perception consist of internal factors such as personal experience and knowledge, and external factors such as social and cultural environment. This research provides a new understanding of the diversity of marriage practices in society.

Arabic language learning, particularly the study of nahwu, is crucial in understanding Islamic religious texts such as the Qur'an and Hadith. However, in many pesantren (Islamic boarding schools), the teaching and application of nahwu often face various challenges. Therefore, this community service program aims to optimize nahwu learning at Pesantren Motivator Qur'an Darussalam Klaseman by using the Al Miftah book as the main teaching material. This program involves intensive guidance for the students in learning nahwu rules, with an interactive and hands-on approach. The results of this activity show an improvement in the students' understanding and application of nahwu rules, which positively impacts their ability to comprehend Arabic texts, particularly in reading the Qur'an.

Intensive reading is a vital skill that supports information comprehension and serves as a foundation for mastering other subjects. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach using a case study method. Data were collected through direct observation, audio recordings, and document analysis of previous reading assessment results. Evaluation involved cognitive tests with multiple-choice questions and psychomotor observations while students read texts independently. The findings reveal variations in intensive reading skills among students, particularly in understanding text content, organizing ideas, diction accuracy, sentence structure, spelling, and note-taking ability. Most students could grasp the main idea and identify the plot well; however, challenges remained in using appropriate diction, maintaining consistent sentence structure, and achieving accuracy in spelling and note-taking. These results highlight the need for more effective teaching strategies to improve students’ intensive reading skills. This study is expected to contribute positively to the development of Indonesian language learning methods at the elementary level, better preparing students to face increasingly complex academic challenges.

Whether it's a result of parents or the environment, the absence of character development in children is the root problem of this research. Thus, character education is crucial for kids, and books are a great way to inculcate these values. Books, whether we know it or not, teach us valuable lessons and entertain us, but they also contain positive messages that can be applied in real life. Reading novels that captivate and motivate youngsters is one approach to help them develop positive character traits. This study recommends reading Khusnul Art's "I'm Not Stupid" and thinking critically on the book's themes and characters' moral fibre.
