Fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 76/IX Mendalo still show low learning motivation in Natural Sciences and Social Sciences (IPAS) subjects. This is evident from their low attention, lack of enthusiasm, and tendency to chat during learning, which is caused by teachers not implementing appropriate learning methods and media. This study was conducted to increase student interest through PJBL with the use of audiovisual media, by means of a Classroom Action Research (CAR) methodology, separated into two cycles, with each cycle consisting of two meetings. Observation, worksheets, and questionnaires were the methods that were utilized to obtain data from the 21 students who participated in the research. An increase of 19.9% was observed in the average level of learning, which went from 62.7% in Cycle I to 82.6% in Cycle II respectively. Semantics is a branch of linguistics that studies meaning in language, whether implied in words, phrases, or sentences. In literary works such as songs, the use of language often contains multiple or symbolic meanings that may cause ambiguity for listeners. This becomes problematic when the audience interprets the lyrics differently from the songwriter’s intent. The song "Lihat, Dengar, Rasakan" by Sheila On 7 is an example of lyrics rich in meaning and symbolism, making it an interesting subject for semantic analysis. The aim of this study is to uncover and explain the lexical and grammatical meanings contained within the lyrics so that the message conveyed can be understood more thoroughly and deeply. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with observation, note-taking, and content analysis techniques. The results show a total of 17 lexical meaning data and 17 grammatical meaning data in the song lyrics. The lexical meanings consist of 10 synonymy data, 4 antonymy data, 2 homonymy data, 4 hyponymy data, 4 polysemy data, 3 ambiguity data, and 2 redundancy data. Meanwhile, the grammatical  meanings include 11 affixation data, 2 reduplication data, and 5 composition data. These findings reveal that the lyrics of "Lihat, Dengar, Rasakan" are rich in complex meanings, both lexically and grammatically. The conclusion of this research is that semantic analysis can unveil the deeper layers of meaning within song lyrics, helping listeners grasp the moral message, social critique, and spiritual values hidden behind the poetic language used by the songwriter.

The purpose of this study was to illuminate how students understand various types of sentences, especially single sentences, compound sentences, and compound sentences, and to develop and implement flipbooks as a learning aid in grade V of SD Negeri 12 Kota Langsa. This study was conducted through a qualitative approach using observation, interviews, and documentation to collect data. The results showed that conventional learning methods and the lack of interactive media caused most students to still have difficulty in distinguishing the structure and use of sentence types. There is evidence that the use of visual and interactive flipbook media can improve students' understanding and encourage them to actively participate in the learning process. Flipbooks are able to create a more interesting and meaningful learning environment, despite technical constraints such as limited digital devices. This study found that flipbooks are an effective alternative for teaching Indonesian to elementary school students by improving their language skills.

This study aims to analyze the initial writing skills of grade 1 Elementary School students. Initial writing is the initial stage for students in recognizing letter shapes, composing syllables, and being able to write simple words and sentences. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with observation and documentation techniques. The results of the analysis show that the writing skills of grade 1 students vary greatly, influenced by fine motor readiness, the learning environment, and the role of teachers in providing appropriate exercises. Most students still have difficulty in writing letters with the correct and neat shape. Therefore, an interesting and repetitive learning strategy is needed so that students can improve their writing skills gradually.

Mathematics is often referred to as a field of knowledge developed through logical reasoning and is considered essential in everyday life, particularly in problem-solving. One effective way to apply problem-solving skills in mathematics education is through the use of word problems. This study aims to explore and analyze the various obstacles students encounter when solving mathematical word problems. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection methods including tests, interviews, and a project involving the construction of a staircase using standard units of length. The subjects of the study were four third-grade elementary school students in Batusangkar who had previously studied standard units of length. The findings reveal that students faced a range of difficulties, such as challenges in understanding the problems, failure to organize solution steps systematically, and limited comprehension of the concept of standard measurement units. Additionally, a lack of interest in learning was found to negatively impact students’ ability to solve word problems. Therefore, conceptual understanding and increased motivation to learn are crucial factors in enhancing students’ mathematical problem-solving abilities.
