This research aims to analyze the writing errors of second-grade students to help them improve before advancing to the next grade level in third grade. This study is a descriptive qualitative research. The data collection techniques used are observation and documentation study. The results of the research show that: 1) exceeding the boundary lines in notebooks is experienced by 5 students, 2) writing each word in a sentence unevenly is experienced by 14 students, 3) significant differences in the size of each letter are experienced by 7 students, 4) excessive spacing between words or sentences occurs in 1 student, 5) omission of words in a sentence is experienced by 5 students, 6) omission of letters in written words occurs in 9 students, 7) writing incomplete home addresses is experienced by 25 students, 8) incorrectly copying sentences from examples occurs in 1 student, 9) inconsistent use of capital and lowercase letters is experienced by 11 students, 10) not placing capital letters at the beginning of sentences is observed in 16 students, 11) incorrect use of punctuation is experienced by 12 students, 12) unclear legibility is experienced by 4 students. Therefore, there are still second-grade students who have initial writing errors.

Deixis is a word that has a referent or reference that changes depending on who is speaking and the context of the conversation. Deixis can also be useful in direct or verbal communication activities. Examples of the benefits of deixis in indirect communication can be realized in literary works in the form of novels. In connection with the research to be conducted, the researcher chose the novel Rembulan sinks in your face as the research subject. Therefore, this research wants to examine the types, forms and functions of deixis as well as the use of deixis in the novel "Rembulan sinks on your face" by Tere Liye for Indonesian language learning. The data in this research are dialogues containing deixis in the novel Rembulan sinking on your face by Tere Liye, which was published in December 2006 with 400 pages. The data analysis technique used in the research is a qualitative descriptive method. Based on the research that the researchers have conducted in the novel Rembulan sinking in your face by Tere Liye, the author can conclude that there are several types of deixis in the novel Rembulan Tenggelam in Your Face, namely, place deixis, pointing deixis, persona deixis, time deixis, and social deicsis.

This article discusses the analysis of language errors in students' papers in the Economic Education Study Program, Faculty of Economics, Medan State University. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method by analyzing and describing the types of language errors found in 10 student papers of the Economics education study program, Faculty of Economics, Medan State University. By collecting data in the form of student papers as samples, identifying and classifying the types of language errors , as well as describing and interpreting the findings. The research results identified four main categories of errors, namely errors in writing letters, words, punctuation marks, and absorption elements. In-depth analysis is carried out by classifying each error category into more specific types along with examples and corrections. These findings show the importance of understanding and mastering good and correct Indonesian language rules in writing scientific papers, especially for students. It is hoped that this research can provide valuable information for teachers and related institutions to improve students' language skills in writing quality scientific papers.

One example of editorial text found in everyday life is in newspapers. Newspapers provide actual information needed by the public through reporting in editorial texts. The newspaper that is often found today is the Kompas Newspaper. In the educational realm, the editorial text in the Kompas Newspaper can be a medium for learning Indonesian. Editorial text in newspapers requires appropriate sentence structure so that readers can understand the meaning of the contents of the newspaper. Thus, sentence structure in editorial texts can be a medium for analyzing directive illocutionary speech acts. This research aims to determine the types of directive illocution speech acts contained in editorial texts in the Kompas Newspaper. The theoretical benefit of this research is to increase insight and information regarding the types of directive illocution speech acts. The practical benefit is being able to understand the meaning of sentences written in newspapers. This research is classified as descriptive qualitative which refers to a theoretical approach in the form of a pragmatic approach. The method in this research is the matching method using listening and note-taking techniques, while the data presentation method uses formal data presentation. The primary data used is editorial text sourced from the Kompas Newspaper. The data that has been found is presented in the form of an explanation and linked to secondary data in the form of similar previous research. The results of this research are 18 types of directive illocution speech acts which include 7 directive illocution speech acts suggesting, 1 opposing, 2 requesting, 1 commanding, 1 hoping, 1 appealing, 1 giving a signal, 2 pleading, 1 urging, and 1 inviting.

The development of technology is currently increasingly rapidly providing convenience and benefits for humans, one example of technology that provides entertainment benefits is online games. However, online game addiction is one of several forms of addiction caused by technological developments, one of which is the internet or better known as internet addictive disorder. The objectives of this research are: 1) Analyzing online game addiction experienced by students IAIN Sheikh Nurjati Cirebon. 2) Analyze the learning achievements experienced by IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon students. 3) Analyzing the influence of online games on the learning achievement of IAIN Syekh Nurjati Ciebon students. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The data collection technique applied in the research was interviewing 5 students and distributing questionnaires which were filled in by 15 students. The results of this study show 1) Most respondents (50%) had difficulty stopping playing online games, while 33.3% admitted that they had fairly good control but still felt interested in continuing to play. 2) Effective learning can help pupils and students to achieve learning goals. 3) It can be concluded that 37.5% stated that they do not like playing online games, because they have a very bad effect on learning. In the same percentage, 37.5% stated that they did not agree with online games, but did not provide clear reasons. It can be concluded that the research shows that the majority of respondents have difficulty stopping playing online games, while effective learning can help achieve learning goals, and around 37.5% of respondents stated that they do not like or disagree with online games because they have a bad effect on learning, although some of them they didn't give a clear reason.
