The abuse of authority by public officials within Indonesia’s governmental administration has become an increasingly urgent issue to address. Such misconduct undermines the fundamental principles of good governance  including transparency, accountability, and justice which are essential for ensuring efficient and effective government operations. This study aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of the forms of abuse of authority by public officials, the factors influencing such behavior, and its impact on the effectiveness of governance and public trust. The research employs a normative approach with a prescriptive legal method, analyzing legislation related to the abuse of authority as well as a case-based approach to explore the implementation of authority by public officials in governmental practice.The findings indicate that abuse of authority may occur in various forms, such as exceeding the limits of granted power, conflating different authorities, or acting arbitrarily for personal or group interests  all of which contradict the principle of legality governing governmental actions. Moreover, such practices negatively affect the quality of public services and tarnish the image of governmental institutions. The study also finds that although Law No. 30 of 2014 on Government Administration provides a clear legal framework, its implementation remains hindered by weak internal and external oversight systems. Therefore, this research recommends strengthening more effective supervision mechanisms, enhancing transparency in administrative decision-making processes, and involving the public in monitoring efforts to ensure that public officials exercise their authority in accordance with established objectives in pursuit of a clean and just government.

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of village fund expenditure in Kedamean Village, Kedamean District, Gresik Regency in 2025. The approach used is qualitative with descriptive methods, through in-depth interviews with the Village Head, Treasurer, and Village Consultative Body, as well as analysis of official documents such as budget realization reports and Village Budget Work Plans. The results of the study indicate that village fund expenditure in Kedamean Village is classified as very effective which has followed the principles of transparency and accountability according to regulations, but several obstacles are still found such as inconsistencies between planning and implementation, limited capacity of village officials, and less than optimal realization of development programs and community empowerment. This study recommends strengthening the capacity of village officials, increasing community participation, and optimizing internal and external supervision to increase the effectiveness of village fund expenditure in order to achieve sustainable village development and improve community welfare.

The rapid development of information technology has accelerated the transformation of public services in Indonesia toward digitalization. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness level of digitalization in administrative services at the Medan Amplas District Office. A qualitative approach was used, employing a literature review method by collecting data from books, scientific journals, policy documents, and institutional performance reports. The results show that the digitalization of administrative services in Medan Amplas District has improved service timeliness, cost and procedure transparency, and public satisfaction, with system adoption rates increasing from 30% to 65% between 2018 and 2022. Digitalization has also provided benefits in terms of time and cost efficiency, as well as enhanced staff productivity. However, several challenges remain, such as infrastructure limitations, uneven digital competencies among staff, regulatory inconsistencies, and organizational culture resistance to change. In conclusion, the digitalization of administrative services at Medan Amplas District has been effective but still requires continuous improvement in technical aspects, human resource capacity building, regulatory harmonization, and cultural change to achieve sustainable optimization of public services.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat dinamika kelompok pembudidaya. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah metode sensus dengan jumlah responden yang diambil sebanyak 11 responden. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah skala Likert untuk mengetahui tingkat dinamika kelompok pembudidaya ikan Tunas Giri Makmur di Kelurahan Lempake Kecamatan Samarinda Utara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat dinamika kelompok pembudidaya ikan Tunas Giri Makmur pada setiap indikator: tujuan kelompok, struktur kelompok, fungsi dan tugas kelompok, kesatuan dan kekompakan kelompok, pengembangan dan pemeliharaan kelompok, suasana kelompok, ketegangan kelompok, keefektifan kelompok, berada pada katagori tinggi dan sedangkan indikator Maksud tersembunyi pada katagori sedang. Secara akumulasi keseluruhan tingkat dinamika kelompok pembudidaya ikan pokdakan tunas giri makmur pada katagori tinggi dengan nilai skor 70,13. Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa kelompok pembudidaya tunas giri makmur tidak sealalu dalam kondisi statis, tetapi berada dalam kondisi dinamis yang dapat berubah dalam kehidupan kelompok.

Kasus korupsi di Indonesia kian hari semakin meningkat, dikutip pada Suarajakarta.id menyatakan bahwa  korupsi di Indonesia semakin memburuk hingga mencapai 58%  Hal tersebut menjadikan lambat tahun korupsi sebagai budaya di Indonesia dan akan sulit untuk diberantas. Dalam artikel ini akan membahas pengimplementasian pendidikan anti korupsi melalui program pusat edukasi antikorupsi di Sekolah Dasar. Dalam program pusat edukasi antikorupsi yang disediakan oleh pemerintah ini kepada sekolah dinilai cukup efektif dalam membantu pendidik melaksanakan pendidikan anti korupsi. Dengan adanya pendidikan anti korupsi melalui program ini diharapkan dapat menciptakan manusia yang memiliki akhlak yang baik, pengetahuan yang luas, kesadaran pada diri sendiri akan buruknya melakukan tindakan korupsi.  

Banyaknya orang yang terlibat dalam kasus narkoba dan terus meningkatnya kejahatan tersebut memerlukan perhatian yang serius dan komitmen bersama untuk  mencegah  dan  menghapusnya.  Salah  satu  upaya  penanggulangan penyalahgunaan narkotika, antara lain dilakukan dengan menggunakan sanksi pidana berupa pidana penjara. Pada kenyataannya, sanksi pidana penjara bagi pengguna narkotika tidak cukup efektif, terbukti jumlah pengguna narkotika semakin  meningkat.  Menurut  Suriadi  Gunawan,  peraturan  perundangan yang  mengkriminalisasi  pecandu  narkotika  perlu  ditinjau  kembali  karena tidak  realistis,  contohnya,  dengan  mengkriminalisasikan  pecandu  terbukti tidak menurunkan kasus narkotika. Di Indonesia saat ini ada sekitar 1,5 juta pengguna narkotika, yang jika diproses hukum, penjara akan penuh, padahal jumlah kasus tidak menurun.
