The implementation of educational financial management is crucial as part of the commitment to progress that is the focus of this study, with the aim of examining financial management based on the principles of effectiveness, efficiency, transparency, and accountability in the 'Aje Kendor Sekolah' program using Public Financial Management Theory and Policy Implementation Theory. This study uses a qualitative research method with Creswell's case study approach. The research findings indicate that budget management aligns with formal procedures, but planning is not yet fully participatory. The reporting system is structured, but community involvement in oversight remains symbolic. The presence of collaboration among various stakeholders has not addressed the shortages in facilities and funding. Therefore, these shortages need to be addressed to encourage sustained school participation in the future.

This study aims to evaluate the transparency and effectiveness of the use of the 2025 Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) in flood management in DKI Jakarta Province. Although the provincial government has allocated a large budget, the problem of flooding is still an annual issue that has not been resolved. Using a qualitative case study approach and George C. Edward III's policy implementation theory as an analytical tool, this study examines four key variables: communication, resources, implementer disposition, and bureaucratic structure. The results of the study indicate that policy implementation faces various obstacles such as communication with minimal public participation. Limited technical and human resources, implementer caution due to bureaucratic pressure, and weak integration between agencies. This study concludes that the problem of flooding in Jakarta is not only related to technical aspects, but is also a reflection of the suboptimal regional financial governance and sustainable and accountable public policy implementation system.

Patent rights are a part of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) that provide legal protection for inventions in the field of technology. With the rapid development of the times and technological advancements, the protection of patent rights has become an increasingly crucial issue. This is due to the growing number of patent infringements, particularly in the digital and medical device sectors, which often involve major global technology companies. One such case is the patent dispute between Apple Inc. and Masimo Corporation. The patent conflict between Apple and Masimo serves as a concrete example of how disputes over the ownership of technology can lead to complex legal issues, while also demonstrating how legal systems in developed countries respond to alleged patent infringements relatively effectively. On the other hand, Indonesia, as a developing country, still faces various challenges in resolving patent disputes, ranging from policy aspects and law enforcement processes to the capacity of existing institutions. This study aims to evaluate the extent to which Indonesia's patent legal system has been able to meet the demands of the times. Through the analysis of the Apple vs. Masimo case, this paper seeks to examine how Indonesia’s patent dispute resolution system can be strengthened to address global dynamics.

This research examines the implementation of the principle of openness in the examination of cases in civil court proceedings in Indonesia, focusing on two main issues: (1) how the principle of openness is regulated and applied in civil court practices, and (2) what key obstacles hinder the implementation of this openness. The purpose of the study is to provide an in-depth overview of the mechanisms for implementing the principle of openness in the civil judicial process and to identify inhibiting factors that need to be addressed promptly in order to make the judicial system more transparent and accountable. This study employs a normative juridical method with a statutory and conceptual approach. Data were obtained through literature review, including legislation, legal doctrines, and relevant court decisions, and analyzed using a descriptive-analytical method. The findings indicate that the principle of openness is well accommodated normatively within Indonesia’s civil judicial system; however, its implementation still faces significant challenges, such as limited supporting facilities, inadequate dissemination among judicial officers, and the tension between protecting the privacy of parties and ensuring public access to information. To address these issues, improvements in technological infrastructure, human resource training, and internal policy revisions are essential steps to optimize the principle of openness in civil court proceedings.

This study shows that legal regulations in Indonesia related to the protection of property brought into marriage that is mixed with joint property due to joint management in marriage, and highlights the inconsistency of court decisions in such disputes and their impact on household economic stability. Law Number 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage and the Compilation of Islamic Law have distinguished between property brought into marriage and joint property, practice in the field shows that mixing of property due to joint management often causes conflict during divorce. Inconsistency in court decisions arises due to the unclear norms in Article 37 of the Marriage Law which provide room for different interpretations by judges. This has an impact on legal uncertainty and potential injustice, especially for parties who are socially or economically weaker. Mixed property disputes also affect household economic stability, exacerbate social inequality, and cause psychological burdens for family members, including children. The concept of ‘abandoned land’ in the Basic Agrarian Law (UUPA) No. 5 of 1960 faces interpretation challenges that impact the effectiveness of the management of unproductive Cultivation Rights (HGU). This research aims to analyse the reconstruction of the concept of abandoned land in UUPA and its implications for the management of unproductive HGU to support the optimisation of agricultural land use. This research is conducted through normative juridical with qualitative descriptive analysis of laws and regulations, court decisions, and related literature. The research findings show that the concept of abandoned land in the UUPA is still multi-interpretive, especially regarding the criteria of ‘not being cultivated according to the circumstances or nature and purpose of the right’. This has led to inconsistencies in the application of sanctions against HGU holders who leave their land unproductive. Concept reconstruction is needed by clarifying the objective parameters of productivity, the period of neglect, and law enforcement mechanisms. The implications of this research indicate the need for regulatory revisions to strengthen legal certainty in HGU management, as well as the development of more effective policy instruments to prevent abandonment of agricultural land to support national food security and social justice in agrarian reform.

This article analyzes the juridical construction, practical implementation, and problematics of corporate criminal liability in corruption cases in Indonesia. Employing a normative-juridical approach with analytical-evaluative dimensions, this research examines primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials, as well as data from in-depth interviews with key informants. The results indicate that despite the legal framework accommodating the concept of corporations as subjects of criminal law in corruption cases, its implementation faces significant obstacles reflected in the minimal designation of corporations as suspects/defendants. These obstacles encompass substantive aspects related to unclear formulation of liability elements, procedural aspects concerning limitations in procedural law, institutional aspects regarding law enforcement capacity, and practical aspects related to sanctions execution. This research proposes a comprehensive and integrative model for strengthening corporate criminal liability through normative reformulation, procedural and institutional strengthening, and development of corporate compliance incentives, projected to contribute to improving the effectiveness of corporate corruption enforcement and strengthening business integrity systems in Indonesia.

The acceleration of globalization and advances in information technology have brought about significant changes in the economic field. In this context, collaboration between individuals is a key element in forming business groups that aim to achieve economic benefits. These business groups can take the form of informal businesses that do not yet have legality, as well as legal entities known as corporations. When individuals join a corporation, this also strengthens the corporation's position as a legal subject in economic activities. A legal subject (subject tumjuris) is an entity that can have and exercise rights and obligations. This situation can trigger abuse of power by corporations against the public interest, which is then known as corporate crime. Such crimes are usually committed for the sake of the company's business interests and fall into the category of white collar. crime. One form of corporate crime that is rampant is the violation of the economic rights of creators and copyright owners

The growth of the digital sector during the Coronavirus Disease (COVID) 19 pandemic has an impact on how individuals use technology and behave in social situations, introducing new work opportunities.  However, work participation in the digital industry based on gender at the global level is still significant which can have an impact on gender gaps and the role of female workers. In terms of access to production and distribution of roles, female workers in the digital industry make widespread similarities with the presence of male workers. In-depth research is required to understand whether or not there is a gender gap in the digital industry, especially in the context of Indonesia, as a modern phenomenon. Previous studies have begun to discuss gender participation in non-digital industries, such as the garment sector, but have not yet discussed the dynamics of the gender gap and the role of women. This study utilizes social role theory to quantify the extent of the gender gap and the dynamics of women's roles in industrial technology. This study examines 3 female workers in 3 distinct digital technology companies using a qualitative method and a multiple case study approach. The results of this study reveals that the digital technology industry in the education, technology, and transportation sector is inclusive and promotes the role of women despite the fact that woman constitute a minority of workers. The role of women is supported by the equal of expectations towards the role of female workers, including the system of labor allocation and rewards that do not take gender into account. This research can further serve as a reference for other digital enterprise sectors and other industries when developing policies and programs to support and enhance the work role of women.

This study aims to determine whether or not the fifth Amendment of the 1945 Constitution as the written Constitution of the State of Indonesia which has become a mecca in formulating laws and regulations for more than the last twenty-five years is still able to meet the demands of the dynamics of the current administration or whether radical changes need to be made by changing the main mecca. Along with the current government and a few years ago. The executive and legislative parties even managed to form several legal products that were eventually criticized and rejected by the public. Therefore, it is necessary to limit the power in the field of legislation that must be given to the party whose authority it is. A valid agreement creates a contract that gives rise to rights and obligations between the parties, and if one party does not fulfill its obligations, it can be declared to be in default. Default can be interpreted as the failure to fulfill or negligent in carrying out obligations as stipulated in the agreement made by the creditor and debtor. One example of a case of default regarding debts involving the Deputy Regent of Sidoarjo, Subandi, who borrowed IDR 1 billion from Darmiati Tansilong. The Supreme Court rejected Subandi's appeal (Decision No. 1609/K/Pdt/2022) and stated that he was in default. The Supreme Court's decision emphasized that the default committed by Subandi poses a risk in the form of debt repayment, paying profit sharing for property business development and the total interest that has been promised.

East Africa has great potential in the tourism sector, but is vulnerable to the threat of terrorism that can hinder economic growth and regional stability. This research aims to analyze the impact of terrorism on tourism development, especially in Kenya as a case study. The research uses a Library Research method with a descriptive qualitative approach based on narrative and contextual. The theory used is the tactical definition of terrorism by C.A.J Coady which emphasizes violence against civilians for political interests and Esmailzadeh's perspective which states the adaptive and global nature of terrorism. The results of the analysis show that terror attacks, such as those that occurred in several countries in the East African region, do not only cause physical casualties but also psychological and symbolic impacts in the form of declining tourist numbers, disruption of security perceptions and a negative image of the destination in the eyes of the international community. This study emphasizes the importance of an integrated approach: hard security, inclusive economic development, and soft power-based promotion. The novelty of this research lies in the integration of theoretical-philosophical approaches and empirical data to assess the linkages between security and tourism in conflict-prone areas, which have rarely been studied in depth in the East African context.

Drug abuse is a serious problem that not only affects individuals, but also threatens social stability and public health. In response to this problem, the concept of Restorative Justice emerged as a humane alternative that focuses more on restoring the physical, mental and social conditions of the offender. This theoretical study shows that rehabilitation through the Restorative Justice approach is a more humane, effective, and sustainable solution in dealing with drug abusers compared to the conventional prison approach. This research uses a normative juridical research method that is descriptive and analytical, with a library research approach. This method was chosen to examine in depth the concept, regulation, and application of rehabilitation as a restorative justice solution in handling drug abusers. The data used consists of primary data, namely laws and regulations related to narcotics, rehabilitation, and restorative justice, such as the Narcotics Law, Attorney General Regulation Number 18 of 2021, and Police Regulation Number 8 of 2021.Secondary data are academic literature, scientific journals, books, articles, and official documents that discuss rehabilitation and restorative justice in the context of narcotics abuse. Data collection techniques are collected through documentation studies and literature studies. Data analysis used qualitatively consists of normative juridical analysis to examine legal provisions and regulations governing rehabilitation and restorative justice. In Indonesia, the application of rehabilitation as a restorative justice solution has been regulated in various regulations, such as the Narcotics Law, Attorney General Regulation Number 18 of 2021, and Police Regulation Number 8 of 2021. These regulations provide a legal basis for rehabilitation as an alternative to punishment that prioritizes recovery and social reintegration.

Human rights and Islam both emphasize the value of justice and well-being for all individuals, including women. However, in practice, women's rights are often hampered by patriarchal culture and conservative religious interpretations. This study aims to analyze how human rights and Islam can work in harmony in guaranteeing women's rights. Using a qualitative method based on literature study, this research identifies various factors that cause discrimination against women, such as gender bias in religious interpretations and entrenched social norms. The results show that realizing gender equality in Islam requires inclusive education, fairer reinterpretation of Islamic law, policy reforms that protect women, as well as economic empowerment and women's participation in leadership. With these steps, women can obtain their full rights without erroneous cultural and religious barriers.

Indonesia is a unitary state comprised of thousands of islands and vast seas. Land is a vital asset for both the people and the state; therefore, its control, use, and preservation must be regulated fairly to prevent misuse, particularly by foreign parties. This study focuses on the extent to which the limitations on land ownership by foreign nationals (FNs), as established by national law, can be effectively applied in cases occurring beyond Indonesia's jurisdiction. The aim of this research is to examine how the principle of lex rei sitae, the doctrine of cross-border inheritance law, and the concept of ordre public in Indonesian law interact with one another in order to formulate legal policies that uphold agrarian justice and national sovereignty, while also adapting to global changes. The findings of this study reveal that the principles of lex rei sitae and ordre public serve not merely as grounds for legal rejection, but as fundamental pillars in shaping land ownership policies for foreign nationals based on fairness, proportionality, and sustainability. By implementing a legal system that is firm, consistent, yet flexible, Indonesia is able to safeguard its national sovereignty while also fostering international trust as a rule-of-law state capable of facing global challenges without losing its national identity.
