Human Resource Management (HRM) plays a crucial role in ensuring that a company is able to grow, compete, and sustain its operations in an increasingly dynamic business environment. Effective HRM practices help organizations optimize employee performance, improve productivity, and maintain workforce stability. One of the key aspects of HRM that significantly influences employee performance is workload and job satisfaction. An imbalance in workload or low levels of job satisfaction may lead to decreased motivation, stress, and reduced work performance. This research aims to explore and evaluate the levels of workload and job satisfaction among employees at PT Indomarco Tangerang 1. Understanding these factors is essential to identify potential problems that may affect employee performance and organizational effectiveness. The study employs a quantitative research approach, which involves collecting numerical data that can be statistically analyzed to provide objective and measurable results. Data were gathered through structured questionnaires distributed to employees. A total of 30 employees from various divisions at PT Indomarco Tangerang 1 participated in this study. Statistical analysis was used to assess the relationship between workload and job satisfaction, as well as their overall condition within the company. The findings of this research are expected to provide useful insights for management in developing appropriate strategies to manage workload effectively and enhance job satisfaction. Ultimately, improving these aspects is expected to contribute to higher employee performance and support the long-term success of the company.

The results of this study indicate that DT Peduli Jambi has not yet fully optimized the management of productive zakat, despite having a structured management system in place. Based on data analysis, several key factors were identified as obstacles to optimization. First, there is a lack of public trust in the institution, as reflected in the absence of significant growth in zakat collection over the past three years. This condition highlights the need for more effective communication and transparency strategies. Second, administrative challenges remain, such as a record-keeping system that is not yet fully integrated digitally and limited human resources with expertise in managing productive zakat. Third, resistance to change among beneficiaries persists, with approximately 30% refusing to adopt modern business management methods offered by the program. Fourth, there is a high dependency on assistance, with 40% of beneficiaries still heavily reliant on institutional mentoring. Fifth, participation in training programs remains low, with an average attendance rate of only 65%. Nevertheless, overall the program is categorized as “fairly successful” with an achievement score of 70 out of 100. This indicates that productive zakat holds great potential to promote economic empowerment of the community but has not yet been maximized due to structural and cultural barriers. Therefore, improvements are needed in transparency, capacity building of human resources, as well as persuasive and participatory approaches for beneficiaries, so that the goal of economic empowerment through productive zakat can be more effectively realized.

This study aims to analyze the influence of working capital management, leverage, and institutional ownership on the profitability of consumer goods companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2019–2023 period, while also examining company size as a moderating variable. The consumer goods sector, which has a large market potential in Indonesia, makes it essential to understand how these financial aspects affect company performance. Working capital management plays a crucial role in maintaining liquidity and operational efficiency, leverage determines the extent to which companies rely on debt financing, and institutional ownership reflects external monitoring that can drive managerial discipline. Company size is considered a moderating factor that could strengthen or weaken these relationships, especially in influencing profitability levels. Using a quantitative approach, the research findings reveal that each of the main variables—working capital management, leverage, and institutional ownership—partially and significantly affects profitability. More specifically, company size is found to moderate the effect of leverage on profitability, indicating that larger firms may be better positioned to optimize debt usage compared to smaller firms. This study not only provides empirical evidence regarding financial determinants of profitability but also enriches the discussion on how moderating factors such as firm size can influence the dynamics of corporate financial performance. The findings are expected to provide valuable insights for stakeholders, including managers seeking to optimize financial policies, investors evaluating company performance, and academics or researchers interested in exploring further implications for corporate governance and financial strategy in emerging markets like Indonesia. In conclusion, the study highlights the importance of managing financial variables strategically to sustain profitability in the highly competitive consumer goods industry.

In facing the changes that occur, companies have difficulty following new regulations because of differences with previous regulations. Companies must be able to optimize functions in all parts of the company organization in order to maintain long-term competitiveness and achieve sustainable success. These rules are formed in standard operational procedures which contain operational procedures to ensure consistency, efficiency, minimize errors and safety in every work activity in the company so that it can run effectively and efficiently. This research aims to know the procedures for creating a Work Procedure System at PT Kilang Pertamina International Refinery Unit V Balikpapan and to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors in the procedure for creating a Work Procedure System. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The technique used in this research involved conducting interviews, observation and documentation supported by 2 informants. Based on the results of this research, the procedure for creating a Work System at PT Kilang Pertamina International Refinery Unit V Balikpapan consist of eight structured stages, starting from preparation to the implementation below 1%. The suggestions provided to maximize performance emphasize the importance of effective communication and management commitment to overcoming obstacles in the creation of the Work System at PT Kilang Pertamina International Refinery Unit V Balikpapan.

The use of artificial intelligence (AI) in banking has grown rapidly in recent years, providing opportunities and challenges in dealing with it. AI in the banking world is expected to facilitate use, strengthen customer data security, and optimize risk management. This article aims to analyze the level of customer user experience towards banking services by utilizing artificial intelligence (AI). The analysis technique used in this study is descriptive with a quantitative approach, involving 100 respondents of various ages, various jobs and various educational backgrounds. The main requirement for respondents is that they are customers of various conventional banks in Ponorogo Regency who have used artificial intelligence (AI)-based banking services. Data were collected through questionnaires supplemented with secondary data in the form of documents related to the implementation of artificial intelligence in the banking service system. The application of AI in the banking sector is the detection and prevention of fraudulent transactions in real time, identity verification through biometrics, identity verification through biometrics, chatbots and virtual assistants for customer service, detecting suspicious activity, and the use of smart wallets. The findings in this study explain that artificial intelligence (AI) is able to increase the efficiency of services to customers, provide a better experience, and improve the quality of banking services. Groovy Space Coffee and Kitchen is a coffee shop located in the Bogor City area that serves several types of drinks such as coffee and tea and several foods, both snacks and heavy meals. This research aims to optimize the layout of the sitting room at Groovy Space Coffee and Kitchen using the Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) method based on the results of the Total Cleseness Rating (TCR) calculation. The ARC method is used to determine optimal seating space layout arrangements by considering the shape of the room and the available area. Meanwhile, the TCR method is used to overcome potential conflicts in the use of seating space, such as the density of visitors at certain times. The application of these two methods is expected to produce a seating space layout that is efficient, comfortable, and able to better accommodate the number of visitors. The results of this research show that the new layout is more effective and efficient compared to the previous layout with the results showing that the new layout includes additional seating in the outdoor area and also a change in concept from outdoor to semi-outdoor.

Night markets have long been a popular place to do food business, and one of the trending products is grilled octopus. To optimize this business potential, implementing a digital business strategy has become key. This journal presents a brief overview of how digital business is used to market grilled octopus at night markets. The application of digital business in marketing grilled octopus at night markets involves various aspects. First of all, outlet owners can take advantage of technology by creating an official website for their outlet. This website not only serves as a platform to display menus and store locations, but also as a tool to communicate with potential customers. Social media also plays an important role in marketing. By managing accounts on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, outlet owners can share product images, customer reviews, and promotional information. Apart from that, email marketing is also an effective strategy. Collecting customer email addresses and sending them information about special offers, discounts, or new menu items can increase customer engagement. Joining popular food delivery apps such as GrabFood or GoFood also helps in expanding customer reach, especially if the grilled octopus outlet does not yet have a physical presence in the location. Although implementing a digital business has clear benefits, there are also challenges that need to be overcome. Intense competition in night markets requires outlet owners to create creative and different marketing. Additionally, adequate online management is the key to success, and outlet owners may need to train themselves or obtain technical support to manage their digital assets. In conclusion, the implementation of digital business has had a positive impact in marketing grilled octopus at night markets. However, outlet owners need to be aware of the challenges that may arise and try to continue to improve their strategies in facing increasingly fierce competition in the digital world.
