This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of project-based learning in improving vocational students' understanding of personal financial management. The method used in this study is qualitative research with a case study approach, where data is collected through in-depth interviews with teachers and students, observation of learning activities, and analysis of student financial project documentation. The interviews were conducted to explore the perspectives of students and teachers regarding their experiences in implementing project-based learning in financial education. Observation is used to see firsthand how students apply financial concepts in the projects they are working on. Documentation analysis was carried out on financial statements and student reflections to understand the impact of project-based learning on improving student understanding. The results of the study showed that students who learned using Project-Based Learning were better able to manage their finances better than conventional methods. The contribution of this research is to provide insight for educators and policymakers about the importance of applying project-based learning methods in improving the financial literacy of vocational school students.
