PERAN ORANG TUA TERHADAP ANAK DALAM PENDIDIKAN ISLAM

The role of parents in educating children is certainly very important. Parents are the first madrassa for their children, they are responsible for educating their children about moral values, social norms and a good way of life. Likewise, in Islamic education, parents convey duties and instill commendable behavior in various aspects of life. In Islamic education, parents have a duty that cannot be ignored, and there are things that need to be considered in educating children to become Muslims based on the teachings of the Al-Quran and the Hadith of the Prophet SAW. Parents must also pay attention to the following factors which often hamper children’s growth and development: Lack of use of free time, the enjoyment of playing without time limits, and the enjoyment of relaxing, especially when studying. The problem formulation is as follows. About what children’s education is like according to the Koran and Al-Sunnah, what are the main responsibilities of parents towards their children, and what factors influence the Islamic generation. Children are a precious gift from Allah that are entrusted to their parents, and they are the ones who will be responsible in the afterlife. Therefore, parents have a sacred duty to guide, protect, educate, care for and educate their children with love and responsibility. The main task of parents is to instill in their children noble morals and ethical behavior. Parents must be careful to ensure that their children and other family members fulfill their obligations as Muslims.
